Terrific location! Great theming. Impeccably maintained.
You can't get CLOSER to the Whisky-A-Go-Go or the Sunset Strip.
Fabulous valet staff, concierge, restaurant staff, delicious complimentary breakfast, beautiful roof top pool and a view of the city, and an awesome place to be on July 4th. Our room was nice, all of the rooms here are 700 square ft or larger. Oh my, the bathroom is a room all by itself, double shower and separate soaking tub, I lalalove this bathroom!!! I especially like the statue of the British bulldog which by the way looks very real. Only good things to say. If you're thinking of staying here, do it!! Trust me it's worth it.
Just spent four nights here in a King Deluxe overlooking the peaceful gardens and party space. The room was restful, spacious, large and comfortable -- and quiet. The bathroom was the size of most New York studio apartments! Service was impeccable and discreet and anticipated my and my family's diverse set of requests with grace and professionalism! From valet to front desk to concierge and housekeeping, we felt everything was current and up to date. Only negative, and it was a minor annoyance, was waitstaff at Boxwood Cafe at breakfast which seemed to forget my wife's need for coffee every morning except the last...but the buffet was plentiful and varied for everything else!
Room not clean upon arrival. Could not accomodate a later check out than 1 because they were full, but yet I was told I could book a room and then stay longer. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant.
Its run by smart asses and they are in the hospitality business but dont practice it.
The London is great hotel to get a drink. The bartenders and staff are friendly and the service was excellent!
Out dated decor and a little mismatched within the rooms. Mid century modern mixed with 80s prints and weird vegas print curtains BUT it does ask strangely blend. I do like this hotel though. They are very nice, still higher end, pools nice, have great amenities, and it looks lujee they are making attempts to continuously update which i appreciate. This hotel is not a party hotel which i love and more early 2000 New York style than LA but definitely not very "London". Still totally cool. I also live the nice details like their real dog mascots. I will continue to have this as my preference for stays within LA.
Lobby was extremely hot...opens directly to the outside so the AC doesn't really have an effect. Most of the year probably not a problem. Good location and overall you will probably have a good time.
I hesitate to mention the West End rooftop bar with amazing views of Hollywood Hills and Downtown Los Angeles. You don't have to be a guest to enjoy a drink and appetizers at this bar atop this swank hotel. It's a location many locals aren't familiar with and it's not overrun with tourists. A great place to meet a friend for drinks and conversation.
The rooftop was a beautiful venue for a sunset wedding.
Excellent!!! Excellent!!! It's like coming home!!
Can't wait to come back soon!!
We photographed a wedding here a little while back and we can't say enough great things. From the atmosphere, to how everyone treated both us and the bride and groom, this is a place you want to have your wedding. Everyone helped out with anything they could so the bride and groom got exactly what they needed. Highly recommend this hotel!
Boutique hotel in the best area of Hollywood. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The room (we had one with view on skhline) is modern and features a balcony. Valet parking at good prices available and driving to Santa Monica etc. only takes a few minutes. If you can book yourself into one of their suites. They're amazing.
Absolutely loved my stay at this hotel, highly recommend and will be booking a room here anytime I visit LA. Visited from Sydney Aus and it was a great experience. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, lovely appointed rooms, great valet service, and complimentary breakfast. Not to mention convenient location with good views. Well run hotel and again I highly recommend.
I was just there for a wedding and there were many aspects of the experience that left me disappointed. I enjoyed the venue, location and the staff was top shelf. The wedding cost 100K or more, so every aspect should have been exceptional. We had security called on us 3X for being too noisy in our lounge suite... each time was before 5:00 PM. We also had the venue until 11:00 and as 10:30 rolled around on us, the hotel purposely turned down the DJs music. For the last 30 minutes of the party, the music was quieter than if we had played it on our phones. I was disappointed in this because the bride and groom wanted to do their final dance to close out the evening and were not able to. We spoke to the hotel manager and they were unwilling to turn the music back up so they could finish their last dance.
Nice rooms, good service and a nice breakfast. Due to the frontage effectively being a lane, a few Uber drivers struggle to find it.
Really didn t feel like a five star experience, I was disappointed, five star price, three star service.
I feel obligated to explain why I feel the way I do.
There was a 46$ charge to park my car, and I hate letting people drive my car especially after I told them not to move my seat but they did anyways.
Then finally the breakfast is sub-par unless you feel like paying an extra 25$
I get that LA in general is expensive but I paid nearly 600$ US for the night, I expect exceptional services and options to do what I want like park my own car if I choose to.
I love it here every time I step in this place... everyone on the staff team is very nice and helpful. Much respect to this place.
Clean, and cute motel.
Nice lady at the front desk.
The only thing that wasn't great was my neighbor who started singing at 5am
Don't usually write reviews but our waiter was super awesome.. He was on it and super friendly if you want good customer service and a good vibe this is the spot so shout out to our waiter, Angel!! Food was awesome, service was awesome definitely coming back again.
Nice hotel & theater. Cocktail area was slightly small for our group
Went to an advanced screening of a movie. Pretty cool theater, refreshments, and validated valet parking!
This is an excellent hotel. The location is great. Funny little things keep me from giving it 5 stars:
No hooks in the rooms to hang/steam clothes
The restaurant is great for breakfast but a little sterile for dinner.
I did not get hangers when requested.
Wonderful place, the rooms always clean and a very special decoration that makes you feel at home. The bathroom very comfortable and with a large tub to give you a bath with salts, the same hotel can provide you with salts. Point aside is the reception staff always nice and attentive and what to say about the restaurant staff with efficient service and the dishes are the most. The whole hotel is fabulous !!!
As a New Yorker, I appreciate being able to walk places. A private rooftop pool is also nice.
We had a fantastic stay at this gorgeous hotel! Friendly staff, great location and beautiful roof deck.
A very professional hotel. Knowledgable staff, fabulous location and you feel like part of a family.
Stayed here for a night and it was great. Little kitchen area, nice bed, full sized bathroom, Direct TV, easy parking. If you're looking to stay on the west side and want to keep it close to $100 (and don't want to stay by LAX or in Compton) this is the place. Bowl of apples, fun size snickers on the bed, easy in and out.
We went to a movie screening there. It was put together by the animation and film unions. Everything was pretty great about the experience. The theatre was a nice size and the audio was pretty amazing. They provided free snacks and valet. I would definitely go back.
Was attending an event in the penthouse. The location was spacious and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Had a very enjoyable stay here. Everything was top-notch & first class.
Outstanding. Enourmous rooms, everything superbly decorated, not too modern, not too flashy.
Winston and Churchill will make you smile while crossing the lobby or through out hotel everytime you see them.
An excellent experience! The rooms are exquisite. The restaurant and catering food is very good. The staff is attentive without being imposing. I look forward to my next visit.
English elegance truly meets modern luxury with rooms and guest service that is unmatched. I cannot recommend this hotel enough
The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills is by far the best hotel I've ever visited. The desk manager exudes nothing by professionalism. The staff is always courteous, polite and professional. The living quarters offers an atmosphere of vintage, contemporary and classic living that truly excites the psyche. John was the first manager I met in the elegantly designed and furnished dinning area. He was always courteous and attentive, making sure all guest are enjoyng a great experience at The London West Hollywood and the breakfast is AMAZINGLY delicious and healthy. Jeffrey Davis was the other manager I met while dinning, he too was very attentive and professional. He gave us a little history of California, although he was from New York. He made sure we were satified and assured us, if it was anything we needed to contact him directly. There was no need for that because everyone was extremely customer oriented.Ebony is a young lady that was very personable; she was a hostess and it was obvious she loved her job at the Hotel. She made sure we were taken care of and when it was time for her to leave for the day, she gave us a heads-up and the professional that she is; approached us and advised us that she was leaving and wanted to make sure we okay, she also introduced us to the person that would be stepping in as she left. That young lady was very attentive as well "Drew". The roof top poolside is to LIVE For! The contemporaneous design is not only beautiful, but fun and exciting to frequent. The elegant cubanas can be reserved day or night and the warming fire-pit at night is a soothing must nightly! I just can't say enough about the staff at this hotel. If you have not visited The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, treat yourself; you deserve! It is quite possible that your eyes will zoom in on a celebrity or two. It was Emmy weekend during my stay and we saw more than expected. Some walking with Emmy's in hand. How awesome is that! Thank you The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills for making our stay in California one never to be forgotten. I will be back!
Ate brunch at roof top restaurant. Amazing food, view and service. Highly recommended
This hotel is my home away from home. Fatima and Marcelino treat me like family. I receive medical care from Dr Sheldon Jordan in Santa Monica 3 to 4 times a year for procedures. There was a major surgical procedure that I was scheduled for in which I had no one to go with me from Nor Cal. Marcelino arranged for a friend of his to take me there and bring me back to the hotel. Fatima fixed me chicken and rice soup after the procedure. She checked up on me regularly. The next morning I was brought fruit and yogurt for breakfast.
Very quite and relaxing. The service is awesome everywhere.
I love how each room has a balcony and some open up to a courtyard. The rooms have showers and separate tubs which are over-sized and amazing.
Gorgeous, friendly staff, easy access. Valet parking, don't park on side streets there are signs of towing, timed parking, and no parking. Bar is very friendly.
There are no words to adequately express the bright, happy, peaceful, family-style feeling of this lovely, reasonably-priced, animal-friendly motel. It is kept immaculately clean by the owners, Fatima and Marcelino -- there is fresh fruit daily in the rooms, and outside in the sitting areas (each room has its own, in the open central courtyard!). Most animal-accepting motels in this price-range are... yikes... unkempt and not nicely staffed. Not only is the motel friendly, kind, and helpful about everything -- the adjoining restaurant is a slice of Brazilian heaven. If there were 10 stars I would give them this review. Fatima helped out two friends of mine, with their two chihuahuas, in a major emergency and I will be forever grateful. Abrigado!
Long overdue review.... This is one of our favorite staycation spots and most highly recommended for friends including friends with kids. Guest Rooms are large and most rooms have views. Food is great. Rooftop Pool views are gorgeous. Service is topnotch. Location is very central! There seems to always be an event going on at the hotel if you want to head to the bar and mingle. We've had several wonderful girls trips with adults only and with our daughters that were aged 3-5 years old. This is probably their favorite place as the staff is always so kind to them - they love the rooms and the pool too. Room Service has additional non-menu items for selective eating kids :).
Cool place, very noticeable from traffic, plus it's close to clubs in the area
We have just returned from a lovely, relaxing 10 night break atThe London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills. We stayed in the 3 bed standard apartment which had lovely views and was extremely spacious.
Fabulous!!!. Atmosphere, desserts, staff. The Food Manager is one if the Greatest we've had.
