Arrived for a dinner party. The host was on a very strict schedule that was delayed due to the tardiness of the dinner. When asked why dinner was over 45 minutes late, the managers were not able to provide logical answers. The entire dinner party was off schedule and food was not adequately restocked for the guests. At first I thought this would be a great location for wedding parties, but after seeing how service was conducted, I would gladly take my business elsewhere.

Oustanding service from start to finish. Back in November last year, The London took my last minute booking. The whole experience was second to none. The room was in impeccable order. I was looked after by a wonderful woman called Deborah who was taking care of the pool area. She was pure class and could not have been more accommodating. Some of my friends were also staying in the hotel and nothing was a problem. Food and drinks are on point. When I had a meeting with some guests who were not staying the hotel, Scott made sure they were taken care of. My friends just FaceTime'd me from the buffet breakfast, which prompted me to check my notes and leave this review. I wish I could teleport myself there now. The perfect stay. Thank you.

This hotel is truly The Good Place. We stayed here for just a day but we wished it was more. Every area of the hotel felt clean, sanitized, and safe. The staff was beyond welcoming and made our stay nothing but enjoyable. The rooftop pool and tanning deck was not only a great spot for some sun but also perfect for a beautiful panoramic view of LA. Being on the roof of a hotel on the Sunset Strip gave you the ability to see everything from downtown, to the Griffith Observatory, to Inglewood, to the pacific ocean. We stayed in the Vista Suite and the room was fantastic. The bed was huge, plenty of space around the room to put all of our things, but our favorite part was the bathroom. It's one of the biggest hotel bathrooms i've been in and it was wonderful. The shower was big enough to fit like 3 or 4 people if needed haha, it had two shower heads, one on each side that did different things. There were also a lot of mirrors in the bathroom which we unexpectedly liked, it was nice to see yourself and your outfit from almost any angle. All of the rooms have a balcony which is wonderful when you want some fresh air or want to enjoy the view.

One of our favorite part of the hotel was how quiet it was. Maybe it was because we were there during the pandemic so many people weren't traveling as much or maybe the hotel is just quiet in general, but either way we loved the peacefulness of it all. This is one of my favorite hotels in LA and I'll definitely be staying here in the future and recommending it to others!

Cheerful staff and oversized suite and luxurious bathroom mask real problems in room-service food and staff responsiveness. Three room service orders resulted in food that was vastly overcooked and over-salted, including two that were so bad they needed to be credited to my account. Staff also made 2 unsuccessful attempts to deliver hot coffee with breakfast. Really? A 4-star hotel incapable of serving hot coffee? When I arrived, the hotel was in the middle of a 10-day process to replace all the room locks with the NFC type. This was all explaining in a letter left on my desktop apologizing for any inconveniences. Except in my experience, the installer who replaced my lock somehow managed to disengage the safety latch from the door frame so it was hanging from one screw. Despite the obvious security risk -- and questions about how an installer could have left the latch in that condition before going on to the next room -- it took 2 phone calls to the from desk and nearly an hour to get someone up to the room to fix the problem. I've had better staff responsiveness from the Hampton Inns where I've stayed.

When we arrived nobody tried to help us with our bags. Most of the valet and bell hops were standing around talking to each other. We had to lug all of our baggage our selfs. Mind you we are paying $500 a night to stay there. The lobbies and elevators were sweltering hot. The room services was decent but took forever. Everyone who worked there acted as if they were doing you a favor. If felt like everyone hated their job and it shows. Save your money this place is a rip off and a joke.

Worse hotel I ve been at. I was excited to stay here because of the song.
1) And they lost our bags
2) they let someone someone to charge on our cabana tab while we were gone. (Cabana $650 hence reserved)
3) came and knocked on our door at 11PM to make us pay for the cabana charge which wasn t us. And then a front desk employee was really rude to us to be like oh yeah because your card was decline. Yes it was declined because the hotel kept charging my card several times for random things.

FIRST AND LAST TIME STAYING HERE.
DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Can t wait to book my next holiday in LA purely to stay at this hotel again.
The London WeHo goes above and beyond to make sure every guest feels like a celebrity.

It s location is in a gorgeous area with beautiful views that can be enjoyed from your own balcony or the rooftop pool and bar area.

The service is outstanding. They really have thought of everything to make someone s stay enjoyable.

The rooms are massive. I got a standard room but honestly felt like I was in my own large studio.

One thing I particularly love is that The London uses Winston and Churchill two lovely bulldogs as their mascots and they are a dog friendly hotel.

It is quite pricey to stay here but given the location and stature of the place it s understandable.

Highly recommended as your LA base!!

My husband and I chose to celebrate our honeymoon ...

My husband and I chose to celebrate our honeymoon at the London because we wanted to indulge ourselves at a 5-star hotel for four nights; however, our stay was a big let-down. Unfortunately, for a hotel room that cost us over $500 a night, the surprisingly poor level of service dashed any positive experiences. We recommend enjoying your stay in West Hollywood elsewhere.

The disappointing tone of our experience was set immediately once our taxi dropped us off at the hotel. The vehicle attendants / bellmen talked among themselves and did not address us, did not welcome us, and, most annoyingly, did not offer any help with our several bags and suits as we entered the lobby fully encumbered.

The lackluster service continued at the front desk where the representative barely looked up from her computer to address us as she checked us in. When I asked if I could have a cart to hang our bags, she seemed confused by the request but eventually took the bags to be hung on a hook behind her. While still only looking at the screen during check-in, she un-enthusiastically said, "I see it's your honeymoon." Upon hearing this, another representative suggested a room upgrade. So, still looking at her screen, she did so. My husband and I were thrilled to receive this upgrade, but her insincere presentation dampened any excitement.

Our terrible experience with service continued in our room. To celebrate our honeymoon, my husband and I decided to pop open a bottle of champagne and have some left-over wedding cake. We called the front desk to request forks for the room, and the person responded with a long pause followed, "Um. We're really busy right now. I don't know. I'll see what I can do." We were very confused by that response and ended up eating the cake with our fingers!

Otherwise, the location is central for many West Hollywood / Hollywood / Beverly Hills excursions, and our room had nice views. We stayed in a Crowne Suite. All rooms at the hotel are the same and the only difference is the level where the room is located. Our room was spacious with a balcony. The bed is large and comfortable, and there is plenty of storage space all throughout the room. The bathroom and shower and tub are spacious. (The shower is probably the nicest part of the hotel room.) In all, the furnishings looked tired with large dents and scratches on the coffee table and some surprising lack of attention to detail to some aspects, such as unfinished drywall at some places and an unfinished hole in the wall for the air vent. The room includes a small bar area with a sink and refrigerator. However, the refrigerator is full of for-sale items with no space for personal items.

Ultimately, our stay at the London was not at all what we expect from a luxury 5-star hotel; and it truly dampened our honeymoon.

Not a very good view. Interior is safe and boring and natural greys everywhere. The pool and cabana area at the roof top is nice but not incredible. Overall it's an ok hotel. West Hollywood is still dirty in this area

A really great location with an amazing view from the penthouse. Parking is pricey, but then it is an expensive hotel. Staff is polite and well trained. Food is adequate. If you're looking for something to eat, it's best to go out... You're in the best part of Los Angeles!

Loved this beautiful boutique hotel! We had a stunning suite w/ a sectional sofa (and wine dispenser!) and a large, private balcony with table and chairs. The elegant rooftop pool offered incredible views and private, curtained areas with a tv. Helpful, friendly staff - special shout-out to Chris. Would definitely recommend and return!

The London is a little bit of cool Britannia on the hot, hopping Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. Before becoming a hotel it was a grand old apartment building, the Bel Age. The rooms are spacious with views in all directions: from the Hollywood Hills to downtown LA, Beverly Hills, Century City and the ocean. And the bathrooms are as good as hotel baths get. The chill lobby is a white marble dream. A new bar is a wonderful addition. And the rooftop pool & cabanas 'had a little work done' in the winter of 2018. It's the nicest rooftop perch in LA. And that's a lot.

This place is breath taking. I walked in and felt like I needed to go out on nicer clothes... Views are awesome and the privacy of the rooms feels excellent. They have a wine dispenser in the room. That works nice. I promise. Super high quality hotel. It's right off the strip so prices are high but fair.

Hotel is clean and service was excellent. It's kind of a pain having to ask them for a bucket of ice though.
Had the company party to attend at the hotel. Which was excellent, food and service was very good. I will definitely go there again.

This hotel is a gem! Wonderful location, spacious rooms, free snacks, and most importantly, amazing service. My entire experience in this hotel was great. The room was spaciously clean, and the bathroom was clean as well. The view from up above was breathtaking. I can see the entire city. The city lights at night were fascinating.

Not the newest, or most fancy, but this has become by far my favorite LA hotel. Great staff, great room, and Winston and Churchill are beautiful. Great hotel. Loved it. Location is very nastalgic for any 80s rock fan. Lol.

Relatively reasonable price + great location (one block away from subway station / close to LA downtown and Hollywood if you drive) + cozy and clear room = 4 stars But minus one star since this hotel is little bit of rundown, and needs little bit of upgrade or renovation in the future. Overall the hotel is lovely and cozy. This is not a luxury Hotel. Not modern enough, not very upscale. But very lovely and cozy. However this hotel is little bit of rundown (you can notice some details inside the washroom) Their parking is very safe and easy. Staffs are very helpful and nice. Their courtyard is definitely a must for every visitor. Enjoy drinks and friends under the stars in the courtyard will be one of the highlights.

What can I say other than it's a JW Marriott at the heart of a major metropolis. You get exactly what you'd expect here. From the moment you drive on property to to when you drive off... Service from valet to check in to servers in the bar were buttery excellent. I was returning to park, paused at the front desk to swap my key for a replacement good til 2pm since I had a late check out. The parking valet was waiting silently behind me with my phone as I had left it in the car. Yeah... I should have passed him a token of my appreciation ($) but I was off guard with the unexpected courtesy.

There were cockroaches all over the walls, ceiling, and floor of the first room they put me in on floor 2. They moved me, but only paid for half of the stay. I have never seen so many large cockroaches in a 5 STAR hotel EVER! I was a little surprised they didn't offer a free stay, but that is apparently what you pay for.

What a little gem this is! The owners are on site running the place and they're just the nicest couple ever. You can tell they take a ton of pride in the place, the rooms and grounds are beautifully decorated and I'm talking IMMACULATE, never seen such a clean motel room. Despite being on a main road in the city, it feels very tranquil and relaxing. Came for one night, stayed for two, completely affordable too. I can't believe I've worked in the area this long and didn't know this existed. If you're on the fence about where to stay, just do it, you won't be disappointed. Oh and the parking is free, which is saying a lot in LA. New go-to for sure!

Everything is so perfect. Location (literally steps from Sunset Boulevard), discreet staff, efficient and above all not snobbish, just about all services (and a free Internet ... that works!), Large rooms, mega bathroom, beautiful bird's-eye view on Los Angeles, not to mention the pool and the chic rooftop patio. Oh, the room menu is heavenly - available 24 hours a day, plus.

Wonderful and chic hotel in the heart of West Hollywood. The 3rd floor roof top venue was perfect for a beautifully set wedding as was the reception ballroom. Only issue was that changing stations for babies were missing in both men's and women's restrooms in the lobby.
