The Local Restaurant & Bar On Buderim Review

This has to be without a doubt the best hotel I have ever been in. The view alone is worth it. Food great. Prices great. Food great. If you don't do anything else in Buderim come here.

Fish and Chips was a pretty small portion ($25),
I was still hungry after finishing my meal.
My friend had the Muscles and loved her meal ($37). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great views!

Food was terrible. Payed $90 for our meals. The lamb shank was the worst I have ever had and the steak was like cardboard. My starter was not what it said it was on the menu. Duck and Plum spring rolls.. more like a vegetable spring rolls with tiny a bit of what might be pork mince. Good things. Staff is amazing and the view is great. The face painting lady is awesome too.

Disappointing food offering at 4:30pm on a Sunday, especially as there were at least 2 chefs in the kitchen and half a dozen members of staff serving around 20 customers at the time.

Fantastic building in a prime location with views of almost Noosa to Caloundra. Had Fish and chips as part of an alternate drop, which actually pretty good. I really think it's worth a try for lunch or dinner. The pub itself is gr8, really open and spacious. Plenty of room to fit large groups. It's worth the trip for the views alone.

Food Was great! $12.90 for nans lunch on the Seniors menu great value for money & the Signature Steak was AMAZINNNNNNGG!!! Cooked perfectly on a busy Saturday Night!

Beautiful views from the deck. Great play area and jumping castle to keep the little ones entertained.

We visit regularly from Melbourne and we always go to the Buderim Tavern for dinner. Great value for Pensioners and the steak is always fresh and cooked perfectly.

$45 for a $ 8 bottle of wine .How do you sleep at night ?

Great views but you have to book a table to be able to enjoy, otherwise there is nowhere to sit and have a casual drink and enjoy the view. Depends what you're looking for in a pub as to whether you'll like the place

Very disappointed with our meal. Took my Mum out for an early Mother,s day dinner on Thursday 26th April, as I was leaving early next day for overseas to live. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana and Mum the duck with rocket both main courses. My Parmigiana was palm size with sliced tomato on top and a bit of melted cheese on top with a few potato wedges. Mum had palm sized duck sliced in 3 slices on a top of a mountain of rocket , and it was really a mountain of rocket! with barley any goat's cheese or beetroot and a very hard slice of pear and barley 3 sliced stalks of asparagus. REALLY $30 each.????????????? Very embarrassed .

Great views over the coast. Good value dining and seniors meals are our favourite. Hired function room for wife's birthday and Kelly tailored a menu to suit plus organised a muso for a fun night. Many thanks.

Our favourite place to go for dinner with our 3 year old. Always fast and friendly service and having the kids area is a blessing!

Couldn't get to the bar because of the line up for food -25 mins to reach the end of line then told 45mins wait the ordering system requires reviewing they charge top restaurant prices but without the service on paying my account I found drinks charged that we did not have

Great views and atmosphere. Awesome place for a drink and chat with friends. But the food, although OK pub grub, is way over priced. Prices are level with 5 star restaurants, yet only 2.5 stars.

Great place for a family meal. Me and the 3 teenagers all enjoyed our dishes (the steak sandwiches are great). All of us recommend.

Menu is varied, i guess you'd call it, but not what I personally go for. Succumbed to pie, wife to fish, both very average indeed and overpriced.

Had a wonderful dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday.

Doesn't have any Vegetarian dishes in the Sports Bar, not even Nachos.

Had the signature steak. Good pub quality feed but it's fancy restaurant pricing. Gotta pay for the view I guess - which is spectacular btw.

I had put 5 starts feed backs before because always staff and meals were excellent. But last Tuesday evening I had a bad experience. I had a seniors meal I asked for my dessert twice, and nothing happened, I saw a man (staff looked like a manager) with a shirt and name ( I wish I wrote it down :( ) and asked him a 3rd time and told him I had been waiting. He came back to me and said they were getting it ready. Another 10m passed and I see a lady delivering 2 dessert to another table ( customers that arrived when I was having my meal) I stand up trying to find another staff ..told her it was the 4th time I was asking for my dessert, this time not in a good mood. I ordered my meal by 5.35pm and I left the tavern by 7.05 without having my dessert. I am not going to give up on my 1st bad experience but if it happens again tonight I will certainly hit the roof!!!

Due to covid restrictions the kids area was closed we were informed that there was plenty of kid friendly activities available when we booked, when we arrived there was nothing for the kids to do. Food was all overcooked, chips were cold. Very disappointing

Meal was ok ...steak was a bit fatty and tough for$ 32 for small piece of rump and chips and lettuce thought it was better last time we visited.

Great service 100% great rectification of food disgrace. Mould in burger buns, chicken nuggets were turned down by the moat unfussyiest of three children. Wife turned away from chicken schnitzel because of tasting like absolute rubbish and all I can say is the steaks and ribs were good along with great service I'll leave it at that....
