Always stop off here if on the way to Aviemore from Edinburgh, great food court with lots of seating and parking.

Good stop off point on the A9 with a cracking chippy and various other shops and eateries
Incredible service stop on the way through Scotland. Has a food Hall, restaurants, clothing stores... The fish and chip shop served the best gluten free fish and chips I've ever eaten, and my partner thought the same of his battered squid and chips! Would highly recommend a stop here.
Excellent friendly customer service and good quality clothing, web site is easy to manoeuvre and web order deliveries received in a week by Royal Mail.
Stopped off for lunch. Food is overpriced but they have a captive market. There is now a new servery in the conservatory area which has food safety issues due to the sparrows flying around and perching above the counter.
I can't help feeling that the customer flow around the entrance, the main servery and the toilets could be managed better.
Beautiful. This is a place in Scotland to visit, along with its mixed goods from shortbread to chilli sauce, from jelly beans to an on site butcher then the cafe/restaurant serving hot cold to extra cold. Blair Athol is about 2 miles away with the castle and the many walks including the Bruar Falls if you catch it on a dry day and get to the top, just stunning.
was very busy on my visit and due to covid controls we didnt get around as much
Great place for day out, good Covid 19 precautions in place.
If in Scotland - you HAVE to visit here for all things fabulously Scottish
Lovely store, some fabulous thing on sale, although a lot of it is quite expensive. They do have a specific sale shop, I haven't visited that yet. A good way to fill a day in and definitely worth a visit.
This place looks awesome! Just wanted to take more pictures, but my phone died... And food is really nice too
A shopping center in a beautiful setting, in the supermarket there is a wide variety of tastings. I recommend visiting the bathrooms.
Really didn't like it. Much too big and time wasted trying to find what I wanted. A nightmare.
Took my mother here for her birthday today. First time there and we'll definitely be back. Got there a bit early and there was a girl hoovering who insead of being tired of people turning up early, smiled and waved out to us. On entering ladies wear, the sales girl we met there was probably one of the nicest assistants i've ever met! The staff were all absolutely lovely to be fair, so friendly and pleasant and not in the least pushy and seemed to really love working there. Cafe nice, we sat in the heated area outside the cafe where we fed (not sure if it's allowed) cute little sparrows. Just a fantastic place to go! Many thanks for making my mums birthday special!
I received fantastic service in emailing the house of Bruar. They sell such amazing quality products. Lovely, traditional and authentic.
Absolutely shop here if you re thinking about it.
I was expecting a lot and I wasn't let down. What a fine shop!
A great place for a meal cakes coffee clothes & more.
Please don't buy unless you check price with other retailers, their price hikes are breath taking and in some cases the product was inferior. Please don't be taken in by the beautiful layout and surroundings
Enjoyed the visit. Good quality stock but not cheap.
Always stop there on my way from Dornoch to Glasgow. Love that new Fish and chips, opened recently.
Lovely place to visit, something for everyone & in beautiful surroundings.
Food is nice and portions are large but a bit expensive. Convenient though as you can stop for some food etc.
Little expensive but nice for a few treats lovely garden
Nice place to stop on the way to the North on the A9. A class above most M-way establishments. Good food from the Chippy or the Restaurant. Always clean and tidy and staff very friendly.
Smart place with similar pricing. Some good unusual stuff for sale.
It's a really nice place it has a really good coffee shop and it has some really nice products, however the cost is a lot it's a very posh place and the price reflects that, however if your looking for high end products like tweed or fishing equipment or even high quality food this is definitely the place to go
Love everything about this place, travelling South we wouldn't stop anywhere else, great food, great staff very wheelchair friendly.
Would have given 4 stars but the food was a tad bland this year in comparison to February, shame
I had a lovely bacon and ham sandwich and a pot of tea which proceeded to pour tea out the lid as well as the spout. And joind a queue for the toilets. Sorry but you a massive complex and toilet facilities for about 8 people in the gents, and it's the only convenience on the premises.
Come on please build more facilities. Two stars for the sandwich and one star for the tea, none for the tea pot or the loos
Beautiful place...amazing ambience..it too has a restaurant and the restrooms .there is so much to eat over here!! Chocolates, cakes, soups, full meal...it was cold dere but the place was heated up with heaters and all...so the place was warm...while returning back from Inverness it came on our way..
Lovely place would recommend to stop here if u are on the road
For the girls plenty to shop, for the boys own parking. Very friendly staff.
Always have a stop at bruar when on the A9. The food is amazing!
Great produce, food excellent, everything you could possibly want and more.
Always love this great shopping experience. Great journey to get there. Great food stunning range of outdoor products homeward clothes. I could go on.
Love it! Expensive but nice to browse and dream. Restaurant serves great food.
You could easily spend half a day and a small lottery win in HOB.
One of the most beautiful shops in Scotland. Quality parts
Very expensive shops but very busy everytime we visit. Maserati International rally stopped off here - 123 cars with drivers and navigators from all over the world.
Everywhere I went on my 2 visits today the staff were hoovering. Beautiful clothes and gifts, rather expensive and the Hoover's put me off concentrating on buying
The shopping address in Scotland, a must, there is really everything and the prices are correct. Also the restaurant on site is good.
My type of shop, absolutely loved it.
The food hall and restaurant are fantastic
Visit whenever passing. Always interesting but also expensive.
Lovely place to stop on the A9
Great walk then lovely things to buy. Restaurant and chip shop are both great! I've always found the staff to be kind & courteous.
Perfect location, consistent high quality, excellent stopping off point. Great shops and a terrific new fish&chip shop.
First time we have been for a few years. My how it has expanded , may be a bit too big now. A bit pricey but worth having a look around on a rainy day
Great food, wonderful service, plenty of parking. Can be expensive when shopping.
Great selection of goods, but very expensive and surprisingly they don't take American Express, so won't be back till they do.
Great place fabulous food can even park moterhome up for the night safe as houses
Great place for a family day out the walk is beautiful
Best smelling hand soap EVER!! But apart from that it's basically a twead tourist trap.
Usually visit here when special event on or passing through stop for food. Can be expensive but there are prices for everyone. Food excellent, eat in or out, nice walks up by the waterfalls. Large carparks. This is a sorely needed stop as most stops up the A9 you have to divert through the towns and Bruar is alongside.
Always good food and coffee, pricey but breaks our journey nicely in half.
Excellant,
Just the right distance from both Edinburgh and Inverness for a stop over, pleasant surroundings, good food and good shopping.
Fully reopen now. Lovely to walk around in a relaxed atmosphere as shop well laid out. Lots of new ranges. Wonderfully welcoming staff.
Not enjoyable now. Like a zoo it is so busy. Too much crammed in now. Queuing ages for toilet. Used to like it but so busy now we will avoid stopping there. Kate Morgan
Loved this place since i was a kid used to go woth my nana and grandad and mum and every time you go its never a let down always thisng to do and see
Shops are good and food is lovely
Staff is friendly and Very helpful
excellent stop off on the A9 between Perth and Inverness. We've stopped here many times over the years and seen it grow and improve. Whether it's for a break or shopping you will find it all here. From food to fashion. Budget to high quality. Snack to full meal. Plenty of space to park even for caravans and motorhomes.
