The museum was interesting. Great selection of shoes and belts in store. Do not use Google maps. It will take you to the wrong place. There are 2 Main Streets. The right one is Hwy 61

Best place to by UFCW Union Made Boots. Read the tags. Staff is very helpful and never showed me a pair of boots not Union Made!..

Boots coming apart and tearing up after only a few months. Contacted customer service and their response was to send the boots in for nearly a month while they surmise if it s actually a defect... No replacement in the interim, even when willing to pay for it. Terrible customer service.

We went to Red Wing Shore store. Husband needed boots for hunting. Was helped by knowledgeable staff using a unit that analyzes both feet. He said the boots were perfect for all the walking they did through corn and sunflower fields.

Beautiful store in a renovated historical downtown. The shoes are even nicer. Beautiful, sturdy, comfortable, quality construction, genuine hand-manufactured shoes worth every penny.

Usually have some discount specials also but really I didn't buy this time. Just wanted to enjoy the pleasure of seeing and feeling original leather manufactures made by successive generations of shoemakers. I'll be back next summer, can tell it'll be beautiful to visit again

Nice little town with lots of things to do for the family.

Fun store to bring some out-of-towners while doing a Highway 61 tour. At least stop by to take some pictures with/of the world's largest boot! If you have time, don't forget to check out the basement for super bargains on some of the Red Wing shoes and clothes.

Wish they would have more accessories for your boots, like inserts, heel cups and things like that. I would say avoid their big sales that they have a couple times a year, a chaotic mess at the armory. Not their store. The quality of the boots are outstanding.

Excellent service, highly recommend.
The workers answered any and all questions, with no sense of rush. I had to go through multiple sizes of boots to find the right fit: ranging from wide and regular, full and half-size. Marley was patient and handled 45 minutes of fuss for a great fitting pair of boots. If you need a pair of boots with a quality fit, I'd go here.

My husband is always looking for comfortable shoes, so since we were in this town where Redwing shoes are made, we went to the store!
Well.......really nice looking shoes, but really high priced as far as we're concerned. But fun to see!

From the moment you arrive outside the building, the experience is highly crafted by the company to make shoppers feel as though they are making a great purchase. The salespeople, however, seem to try to make you feel that you aren't worthy of purchasing their boots.

First time there. Husband got a pair of boots. My son and I visited the shoe museum located upstairs and it was quite entertaining. We did,however,resisted pushing the -1 button on the elevator.

Scenic small town in Minnesota that is the home town of Red Wing Boots. Literally, right on the Mississippi River with a great downtown and scenic River views.

They didn t have the size I needed, but had it shipped in a few days later. Great custom fitting and very informative staff.

The selection of shoes was wonderful. Prices are high, but I hear the quality is good.

I prefer Red Wing boots and have 4 pairs. I wanted a waterproof black pair for motorcycle riding and another pair of romeos. I started in the basement and the only woman working down there didn't know what romeos were or what waterproof boot styles they had in black and suggested if I had questions to go back upstairs.

Woman upstairs said romeos are no longer made. I asked about black boots. She said there aren't many that come in black but she didn't show me any for whatever reason then sauntered back to chat with her workmate at the cash register. Not what I was expecting at the Red Wing flagship store.

I got home researched and found the styles and functionality I was looking for and ordered a competitors products on-line; they'll be here in a couple days. Thank you Zappos!

Had an issue with vasque red wing boots that I purchased at another retailer who wouldn't return them. Quick customer service over the phone and was sent a new pair of boots after sending in my old ones.

The place was well organized and the options were endless my husband bought a pair of new shoes which he loves! My mother inlaw insisted on him making the investment my husbands late grandfather only wore Redwing's and they lasted forever. Workers were Amazing! I didn't realize the quality of these shoes until I saw them in person!

Never written a review before but because their customer service was so great I had to. I bought a pair of Beckmans from their tent sale (this is not the sale you're looking for, move along, i will buy these incredibly priced shoes instead), which have a reputation for running big. I sized down and down from a 10.5 according to their scale to a 9, even though the sales guy said to try a 10.5 or even 11 (wrong dude, not in these boots). After a week of wearing they fit great (brutal breakin still in progress) all around except the toes, the boot is freakin long but fits great everywhere else, from my big toe to the end of the boot is an inch, i'm not usually ocd but it just bugs the crap outta me. Called the store in here in Red Wing, MN and they said I could come back and exchange them to go smaller, aka shorter because the Beckmans only come in D width. My receipt from the sale states "all sales are final", but i gave it a shot anyway. I will gladly start the break in process over to have a great fitting pair of boots for years to come. Customer for life.

I've bought three pairs of Red Wings in the last two years. One in the basement (where all the deals are at!) & two down the street at the yearly warehouse sale.
Such friendly service. Need laces? They're free! Need boot care advice? Ask!
Cannot say enough great things about this store. With it only being an hour south of the Cities, it is very much worth the drive instead of going to a local outlet. Go to the source!

I had to buy Beckmans from this store over the phone because on store in my area had them or knew much about them. The sales person at this store (315 Main St, Red Wing, MN) told me everything about them, including that his pair of Beckmans were some of the best shoes he'd ever owned. I have to agree. I have had these more than a year now & they are better than new. The shoes are great & so are the people who make & sell them.

Flagship store of one of the greatest American brands in operation today. Within the store, they have a standard retail operation, an outlet store, and a museum. If you run your shoes into the ground, they ll resole your shoes for $80. You also get free laces for life.

Bought a pair of Irish Setters work boots. Paid an outrageous amount of money for. The inside heel completely wore out after about 6 months. So bad the boot will not come off without and extra set of hands. Red wing will not back this product up whatsoever. Not recommend!! Edit: Since then Red wing has replaced the boots free of charge!

Biggest shoe in the USA. The beer at the brewery is much tastier though. Great pizza at the brewery as well.

From a family of career red wing boot buyers we will no longer stand behind a company that does not stand behind craftsmanship. My husband and four sons have been buying and wearing these work boots for nearly 30 years. I am absolutely shocked at their expectation of mailing your boots away for two weeks while being evaluated before they decide that a pair of boots made by them was properly put together?How does one show up to any construction type job in bare feet while they are evaluating poor craftsmanship? To spend nearly $200 more on a new pair of boots perhaps?
