Expensive but a lovely place to visit and treat yourself. Food Hall has great speciality items and gifts. A good array of different household and clothing items. Restaurant first class tasty fresh food. Walk behind House of Bruar well worth a visit. Beautiful scenery.

For a shopping experience it didn't seem too special. There was plenty of nice stuff, but often aimed at a premium price point more than excellent value.
The food was pretty good, but overall felt like it had become a compulsory place to visit for a mass of visitors - Even in low season! Maybe just there are few other places open for folk to go when weather is more miserable and limited daylight at that time of year.

The range of items for sale is outstanding and staff were great. The only slight negative was that the shop floor staff seemed nervous of talking to you when a supervisor or manager was around. One guy even abandoned us because his boss walked in and wanted to talk to him.

Well, this was a nice and unexpected surprise. We were planning to visit the waterfall and found this place. There are plenty of options to eat and shop. It is a bit touristy and maybe not the cheapest.

Visited a couple of years ago. Wonderful how could I forget. I saw something there and didn't. Buy it. Returned home to clacton on sea. And rang a long time afterwards I rang the store and had it posted to me. Brilliant service. Such quality products

I ordered a pair of leather brogue boots in September as I wanted to wear them on holiday in October, I was informed that the boots were out of stock but I would have them in October. Holiday came and went with no boots, I spoke to customer services who informed me that the boots would be delivered November 16th. I did receive a delivery on November 19th but the wrong boots. I again spoke to customer services who informed me that the boots I wanted were out of stock, despite showing on the web site as in stock
Absolutely terrible service. Useless customer service. Never want to have any further dealings with Bruar.
As Gerald Ratner once said, TOTAL CRAP!
Update.
Contacted customer services again and was given an apology and told I would be contacted again the next day regarding sending replacement boots, no one contacted me. I returned the wrongly delivered boots, when I enquired about the refund of my money I was told it could take upto ten days. Given the way I've been treated having to wait three months for non delivery, Dreadful.

Located by the A9 road, I accidentally found it by driving to find a toilet. It sells agricultural products, has a supermarket, and has a restaurant. It feels like a local leisure place on the weekend. The fish & chips, lobster & chips are delicious!

Clean, tidy, we'll set up shopping facility. Could spend all day in the food section. Play area for restless kids. The food is really a different class in quality. Restaurant/cafe is cheaper than you'd expect. If it i had enough money to buy the clothes...

Friendliest and most helpful staff that I've ever met! Wide range of quality clothing and an excellent selection of Harris Tweed. Staff in this department were particularly helpful, knowledgeable and to put up with my indecisiveness, extremely patient!! Restaurant offers cakes and pastries to die for and top coffee. Other meals looked fab too. Quality butcher, deli and choc/sweet section . Lovely suede and leathers too ( coats, bags, shoes and boots, etc. ). Wide ranging selection of homewares and gifts. There's also a large sale shop, where you may bag a bargain in suede or leather, cashmere, etc.

Fine if you have just won the Lottery and want to splurge out. Good place if you want to try "millionaire spotting" Just kidding...wide range of products. Food, clothing etc. Absolutely buzzing on Easter weekend. Worth a visit if you are looking for a special gift. Definitely recommended, even for just a nose around.

Excellent place to stop if you're on the A9 - good food and an excellent deli. Also has a store selling toys, games, ornaments and tartan products - they are expensive though so unlikely to find any bargains here

I've always looked forward to visiting 2-3 times a year, but sadly it is not what it once was.

We attended their 'sale' once again this weekend and found the car park staff had no interest in what they were meant to to be doing, so lots of people were getting frustrated before even entering.

Why are the prices are now so ridiculously high on most items, perhaps they just want the rich to visit?!

We still purchased a number of items from their 'sale', but when home, checked the prices of two of these that were marked as 50% and 10% reductions.

Both were cheaper elsewhere when not even in a sale...

Two out of three toilets were also, shall we say 'blocked' both times that they were visited.

Not the day that we had hoped for nor the pleasant experience it used to be.

Sadly it might have been our last visit.

A nice place to stop and have good food. Everything to buy was way outside my budget. Although most of the smaller items could be easily stolen as the security was pretty lax to be honest. Shoplifters paradise with an excellent cafe after a good morning of stealing.

Great place with lots of choice, can be a bit heavy on the pocket though. Smashing restaurant even that is worth a visit if your doing nothing else. Also a great walk up to the falls.

Conveniently located "department store" including a cafeteria-style restaurant and grocery store (including produce). After eating lunch, we ended up buying a Macsween haggis as well as tatties and neeps for a great dinner/supper at our vacation accommodation.
