Lovely interesting shop and yummy food at the restaurant
Lovely interesting shop and yummy food at the restaurant
Great range of hi end products and a good cafe restaurant and chip shop nice rest area
Amazing upscale Highland clothing and gear. Prepare to spend a paycheck or two. Don't miss out on the deli...great cheese and meet selection.
Ideal stop on A9. Parking bays with sun shields and water bowls for dogs 5*!!
Food hall and shopping. Excellent spread of house and gift items. Good toy section and clothing. Scottish theme throughout. Nice place to stop on the way up North or down from the highlands.
Great 12mile trip.in old A9 north of Pitlochry to visit shop and waterfalls. We had slow browse through mostly Scottish shop stock and had lunch there. Great choice of everything.
Wow what a shopping experience and if you go behind to bruar falls it's amazing
Very good day spent at the House of Bruar. Helpful staff who are going to post my purchases as I am on holiday
Received a fab hamper this morning. Ordered last week in UK and in Spain today.
Superb in every way.
Nice place , graet food and plenty to do took the walk to top off falls brisk walk great veiws , highly recommend
A great place for lunch after leaving the Highlands on the way to South Yorkshire. Great place for Christmas shopping too!!
Nice staff, lovely setting and gorgeous fish and chips
My wife's shopping experience was , as always, excellent. We send our hotel guests and visitors on a weekly basis to House of Bruar informing them of the wonderful excellent buffet service and the best shopping experience in Scotland.
On a confidential basis, arriving late afternoon we decided to try your Fish & Chip outlet, the fish and batter (Cod & Haddock) was wonderful, but your French Fries were inedible all of which were binned.
We shall continue to send our guests but shall not mention this outlet
With kind Regards
Andrew
Quality shopping venue but not stupid prices...so much choice from food to clothes and whisky /gin selection....easy parking
Well laid out with plenty of space between clothes racks. Helpful staff, well stocked deli department and good car parks.
Class department store i would say kdw in the country. If you like shopping should stop.
A tourist hotspot. Incredibly conveniently placed along the A9 for a bathroom break and a leg stretch, you might even eat something if you are fancying a treat. Often very busy during peak times. The car park is a reasonable place for a picnic too.
Great place with wonderful staff. Food and other bits can be a big expensive but overall definitely worth a stop if you're in the area and you're sure to find something wonderful and unique
Steak pie to die for (not literally) and pear drops that my Mum would approve of.
Excellent restaurant. Good value for money. Lovely courteous staff. Quality goods in all departments.
Modern shopping center, nearby a great waterfall for a short hike.
Really great place and restaurant fantastic as well
Had a lovely scone and coffee. Perfect recharge on the long road. Also got some olives from the deli.
Expensive but gorgeous products. Extensive parking. Large restaurant
Fantastic range of products. A bit pricey but completely in line with the type of store. The nut selection wins it for me.
This is a nice place to stop off if travelling up North on theA9 or South.
Great place to have a long break
Has some dog walks and has good shops.
Would highly recommend this place
Food, as always, was excellent.
The prices for shopping are scary.
Amazing am so impressed with service quality of product and quick delivery. Will Definitely buy again, thanx Bruar, ur brilliant.
Nice place, nice food but a tad expensive. Would be 5 stars otherwise.
No drive up or down the A9 is complete without a stopover at House of Bruar. Dog owners will be especially impressed on sunny days when they discover an area of the car park is set aside for dog owners and over-car shading screens are provided. Excellent restaurant and coffee shop facilities, and quite possibly the best bathroom facilities in Scotland! We made a point of stopping therefore for breakfast on this most recent trip and were not disappointed; all ingredients were locally sourced and identified as such. Amazing bacon baps, highly memorable!
Over priced. Hard scones and draught seating area. Used to like this place as a stop off South down A9 but drive on now to Pitlochry.
Beautifully maintained shopping outlet, best example of Scottish excellence.
Excellent. Got 2 tops in the sale, delighted with both
Use this as a rest break when travelling to Inverness. If you are looking for countryside clothing, footwear & accessories this is the place for you it is on the expensive side but you get what you pay for. There is a foodhall, butcher's dept. They sell a good variety of local produce. They sell chocolates, alcohol & delicious ice creams. You can also shop online. Toilet facilities wheelchair friendly although it is a tight squeeze getting around the foodhall. It has a restaurant and free parking
Nice stop for a cup of tea. Network of classy shops, but quite expensive. Restaurant good, just a bit pricey. Lovely, clean toilets.
Great place to stop on A9 whether for a meal or shopping spoiled for choice
Sometimes described as the Harrods of the North . Great selection of items: everything from clothing to household items to foodstuffs to art. All at apremium price and much more expensive than many other upmarket outlets.
Struggled to get staff in ladies clothing to assist, totally failed to get help in the shoe department. Girls in kilts rearranging stock and skilfully ignoring customers.
Sale department was huge but fell far short of expectations with measly reductions.
Great food hall, and restaurant with something for everyone on the menu, and all well priced.
All very accessible, and parking available at the door.
Interesting, but not quite Harrods of the North .
Well trained staff, very clean premises and quality products however everything is a bit pricey. My wife and I always stop here in the way to Aviemore.
Very expensive and no-where to park or turn a caravan.
Enjoyed the falls just walking is killing made me active
Great place to eat and shop you can visit the Falls of Bruar which are stunning though you have to be careful with children and pets.
Typical tourist shopping experience but was ok regardless
Extensive & popular venue with a range of services and retail outlets selling a large range of Scottish themed merchandise
APPALLING !! Having taken my order with full confirmations/ delivery details/ money taken etc H of B then sat on it for 13 days. I only discovered that my delivery was never going to come by calling them myself ( having sat in endless answer phone cues) they said the best they could do was cancel my order. No proper apology, no offer of a re-order, no offer of anything, literally nothing at all for letting me down completely (to remind they didn't even bother to tell me that until I called)
Great place, always worth a look around. Tried the new (to us) Fish and Chip shop, needs work if Im honest. Staff always keen to help. Butchery and deli do fab food. Cheeses always a highlight.
Always go here when I visit my sister in Pitlochry, lots of lovely things to buy and a good coffee shop and food shopping area
I love it as a pit stop driving up north. Nice food.
You like shopping it's paradise
Good selection of food and clothing. Poor quality of food and overpriced in restaurant.
Incredibly disappointed with customer service. Not only did they fail to contact me to say that the item I paid for was out of stock, when I chased them wondering where the item was, I was not even offered an apology and treated brusquely on the phone. No help offered to rectify their mistake.
Mistakes happen and are forgivable - but the way I was treated is unacceptable.
Lovely place, loads of shopping choices worth a stop for a look and a cuppa
Lunch was cold, so was returned. Second lunch had tiny bits of polystyrene in it. The vegetables were over cooked and just not nice at all . Will not be back . Nice walk up round the falls tho'.
Brill place for stopover enroute to the heilans, toilets beautiful, and lovely gifts for the tourists
I love this place,I save up all year to buy something from here, this year I bought a scarf lol.
A huge disappointment for Vegans. Dear management please try and upgrade the menu to facilitate the needs of a vegetarian or vegan. You can definitely do a lot more than just a bowl of salad.
This place certainly has positive vibes and you can definitely get some good cakes but I am just not happy with the meals that are served.
HUGE shop & worth stopping by if you're in the area, people complain it's expensive which for a lot of things it is but you get what you pay for and the quality of the goods is very high. The staff are old style shop staff which makes a welcome change in this day and age, customer service is key. You can find bargains if you look at the sale stuff & the chippy is worth visiting. The ice creams just mackies ice cream so don't waste your money unless it's scorching hot
Me and my absolutely beautiful gorgeous sweetheart had a lovely breakfast and bought some items we had been looking for for a while, place was lovely and staff were very pleasant.
Like looking round shopping areas but quality of restaurant breakfast not the best.
System in place for restaurant during covid a bit haphazard.
Great variety great quality great. Good for a family day out. Excellent restaurant although a bit pricey
Friendly staff, great service, more tweed than you can shake a stick at, designer sticks and a cracking fish supper! Hoots
Beautiful place. Lovely all weather place to eat. I personally didn't like any of the clothes there and everything is very over priced but worth a visit. Bruar falls also worth a visit
Very busy..but still good quality products...the mince pie and chips and gravy front the on site chipper were outstanding.
Absolutely superb food, expensive but worth every penny.
Exclusive and a little bit expensive, but great if you are looking for something special
Outstanding stop off on the A9 - toilets are like those in a wedding venue! Great place to stop - would recommend it for tourists, truckers or just day trippers! Pretty expensive for what it is, but given the tourist trap that it is, and the only good stop on the A9 its a captive market! Worth the stop though!
No toilets!! No tea!! After six a lot of people travel after six!!
Expensive and posh. Good quality stuff. Food is avarage. Good service. A lot of parking space. Nice 45minutes walk to Falls of Bruar nearby.
Overall worth to visit.
Amazing selection of clothes and foods and traditional atmosphere of Scotland
