Great food, great family atmosphere, great place. Loved it!
Excellent range of country wear and other delectable s. Lost a star because of pricing - expensive.
Cashmere heaven. Great for spotting Hooray Henry s (aka posh British people). Recommend getting a bowl of their vegetable soup from the cafe/deli, it s sensational.
Fatastic place try a visit at least once a year as its the only place i can get isle of Mull cheese, its expensive too
Fantastic shop on route to the highlands.
Food,clothes,fishing tackle and more.Well worth a stop.
Overpriced, but in a great location to stop enroute to the Highlands.
Some beautiful products in the food halls but the staff are so miserable.
Great tea.. Amazing food...also bruar falls is worth the wee walk... BUT... Always dirty toilets!
It is a good day out and you can spend the entire day there. Excellent eating options and good walks if you have a dog with you at the back, the Falls of Bruar. It has become extremely busy at weekends, although there is plenty of parking. The shops are varied and the staff are always excellent. Be prepared to spend!
Lovey place, and the fish and chips were outstanding.
Overall the establishment is well set out with a great range of quality products.unfortunately the toilet facilities were extremely poor for the amount of visitors/customers that were there. The site map should have been in the area of greatest footfall, not of to one side.Staff were friendly and helpful though.
Absolute shambles. non existent social distancing, no table cleaning, really poor for a place like this. Quite frightening place to be at this time !
Great place to visit and loads of different things you don't see anywhere else
Here there is something for every taste of quality goods
Very expensive we parked in the car park ere there was a chain but it was on the floor NOT tied to post so I parked and so did some other people we came out to find the chain was on lucky I had the tools to take it off and take it off ....just not on House of Briar should off had it marked up or on when you open .won't be going again over rated. House of Briar . Thank you for your reply to my review .I have emailed you over two weeks ago to your customer services liked you said but still not had a reply .you are really doing your self's justice on this on House of Briar . regards . Keith Richards.
I purchased once from this company and they keep posting catalogs. Cant remove yourself from the postal mailings via live chat or through your account. Unhelpful customer service.
Nice upscale shopping centre. No bargains, but plenty of quality traditional Scottish clothing, specialist food and outdoor accoutrements. Good restaurant and reasonably priced.
Nice place to visit and have lunch but don't expect to get many bargains as the goods are all good quality at a premium price. Although do pop into the sales shop at the top of the site you maybe able to snap up a good deal here.
Wow! Fabulous place.. a little pricey but some quality goods to ve had
An expansive roadside stop with great places to eat and good selection of food and clothing shops...but expensive. Well worth a visit especially if you have plenty holiday money to spend.
Stop in everytime we go past on the way to and from the Highlands. Fantastic cafe, and brilliant selection of goods in the food hall. Other shops are also good, but cater for very specific markets. Can be busy in peak season as it is a popular stop
The food is good quality. Good service and go in feeling rich. Tattoo count low.
Wonderful food hall and restaurant. Top quality merchandise.
Loved the tasting hall, spent a lot of money in there buying really nice food
The soup is really good and you get a half loaf with it !
Great place to stop off.....priced for wealthy americans but a great place to wander around with lots of very nice items to see
Super place to shop. Food excellent and quality exceptionally high. I always try to visit when in Scotland.
From a tourist perspective: A bit poshy, the fine food section is most interesting I think. They have a tiny museum within a jewellery store which is nice.
Nice little restaurant and some lovely shops, a little expensive but a lovely food hall, butchery and delicatesant area. A nice walk up to the lower bridge waterfall with a nice even path bit tricker to upper bridge no even path and steps involved.
We stop off here often as its an excellent day out and has a great food hall. Lovely walk up to the falls after our coffee and cake
Good range of goods but can be a bit pricey.
Sale hall worth a look. Lovely setting.
This was a great stop on the way to aviemore. So much nicer than your moto or other highway stops.
Had some nice things in store and their food hall was great . Very friendly and helpful staff and right next to a great beauty spot.
Fantastic place to shop. Have just about everything you could imagine. Some of the items are not cheap but you pay for quality stuff. Really good food hall and an excellent place to have a full meal or just a snack. The good is always fresh and tasty.
Always a nice place to stop to break up our journey up north...Ice cream is a must and a good walk around the shop area is just long enough to refresh you for the rest of the journey.
Lovely place to stop off and have a wander. Obviously high price points but good quality goods. Food was barely mediocre for the price they were charging but still enjoyable. Also was able to have a lovely walk to the falls of Bruar before jumping back in the car
Brilliant, although not really for a quick pop in and out.
Wonderful place, great shopping. Has a dog walking area and a walk to Bruar falls. If you around at lunch time, you have to try the soup, it really is something special, especially the vegetable soup.
Who would suppose to find there such a good and true olives? Nice place to stop and buy some interesting things. Unfortunately is quite expensive as well.
This is a lovely place. Very high end, quality items. They also have a sale building with lower prices and a farmer's market. The meal we ate here was fantastic! We took home some meat pies.....they were delicious too. A great place to stop and spend the day.
Well laid out, expensive and designed for Overseas tourists
Absolutely love this place we visit every year on our way to the Highlands. You certainly get what you pay for and the quality of everything from gifts to food is spot on!
Nice staff and a nice place with a good selection of stuff.
Always visit when in Scotland. Surprised that we had to pay for paper bags.
Awesome fish and chips - prob best I have had ever!!
Great selection of food and all really high quality a bit on the pricey side though
Fantastic couple hours of walking to see Falls of Bruar and nice food in The House of Bruar. Recommend
Great selection of souvenir items as well as the best of Scotland
Huge range of local produce, but perhaps a little overpriced on some items.
This is a religious stop whenever traveling north/south to visit family. Plenty of food choices, lots to looks at for shopping and car snacks and a lovely walk if you have the time. I would say though that it gets extremely busy so if you re not inclined to be near any people after being crammed in your car for however long then this probably isn t the place for you. However with that in mind it s busy, but not packed. The layout is good and you can easily meander past Dorris and her large shopping trolly of woolens she s got on sale. As I say we don t ever miss going.
Great stop on travels through Scotland. Good food options and a nice gift shop and food sales. Easy parking lot and great spot to stop and eat. Highly recommend.
Wide variety of selection for country outerwear and more active outerwear. Staff were all very knowledgeable and very quick to help!
Expensive, expensive, expensive. Lobster and chips, very pretentious.
Very modern and impressive place. Nice restaurant. Good range of local and artesian products. Well worth the visit.
A must-stop shop on the way to the Highlands, such nice stuff. Lovely cafe/restaurant, great food.
Great homely food and fantastic clothing, food market and certainly worth a visit
