Amazing place! Couldn t be more pleased and impressed with the level of hospitality the hotel offered throughout our stay. The room is amazing, large space with amazing balcony and views. The pools are amazing, along with the secluded beach on the property. Good dining options too, with some decent HH (especially at Luana). Not a bad thing to say about this place, worth every dollar spent!

Kea Lani is not only a popular place for tourists to stay but is also a popular place for locals to hang out at the beach. Even when passing through from a beach visit, or a walk through Wailea, the staff always is friendly and helpful.

Visited for dinner at Nick's, and was super impressed with the property! The Moroccan style of the building and pool area makes for an amazing walk - recommend getting there at sunset as they have a ceremonial lighting of tiki torches. Overall the location is outstanding!

It's a nice hotel. Valet is kinda rude. Will take a few days or a week to figure the best way around the hotel. Good food in the restaurants. A few cats on the property because there is 3 cats to every person on Maui. To light the torches around the property they have this kid run with a torch screaming and doing some chants when the sun goes down. Kinda cool but never got any info why they do it but it made it special. Be aware the internet sucks on Maui! No reason to pay extra for the "high speed" internet because it won't make a difference. Thai vegetable dish from room service is the best but it will cost you as much as going out to eat at a nice restaurant maybe even plus some.

Wonderful hotel with phenomenal staff and up to date rooms. Pools are great and AMA bar is wonderful. Nicks fish market highly recommend. The courtesy shuttle is great and takes you within 3 miles. If don t have a car can Uber past 3 miles but car service is great.

Awesome hotel. Exceptional service with offerings for everyone. The Villas were especially nice. Loved the breakfast buffet, but my one complaint is that the layout makes it a little hectic. The beach has amazing snorkeling just offshore. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is beautiful, the staff is all extremely nice and helpful, the breakfasts are perfect. I stayed in a Villa and it was just a few steps outside to be directly on the beach. Shuttles to and from the lobby are also included and excellent for the elderly or handicapped.

Horrible service. When we arrived to check-in at 2pm, the staff said they would accelerate check-in before 4pm. We were OK waiting until 4pm, so when it was 415pm, they told us it would be longer. Of course, they didnt even text us like they said they would but rather I had to wait in line to speak to them. 5pm passed and still no update. And when they did find us a room our luggage was no where to be found. We finally got it and didn't even care to try to ask someone to help us with it given the horrible service.

If you like spending a lot on your room and then paying for everything at the resort and paying crazy high prices for food then this place is for you. Cheapest item on the poolside menu is $17... for a hot dog. Breakfast buffet $60. Chicken breast for dinner $35. I found the whole experience of price gouging kind of tacky. That being said the hotel is very nice and the pool, beach, service is all very good so if spending a lot of money doesn't bother you this is a nice place on a great location.

The lap of luxury. The pools are open 24 hours (hello, late-night swim!), the ocean is steps away, the grounds are lush and beautiful. Hotel staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of great food options, and a couple of sweet shops in the market.

We were warmly greeted yesterday by Raquel and her delicious juice. This juice still had ice in it despite the warm temperature so you knew it wasn't just sitting out for hours. Her offer (juice) was just a small part of this experience. It was her SMILE that made this hotel check in amazing!

Best hotel we found in Hawaii. Superb service, comfortable elegance, intimate atmosphere, excellent dining and gorgeous grounds. The direct beach access is perfect for swimming, buggy boarding and is 10 steps from the hotel property. Terrific breakfasts....the list goes on. Loves it so much we stayed only one night at the Grand Hyatt on Kuai and flew back to Maui and the Fairmont for our final 3 days. Thanks for the memories

I loved to stay here. I can't give 5 stars though. I had a perfect suite which overlooked the swimming pool. Every morning at 430am we were woken up by the hotel staff who cleaned the swimming pool, prepared breakfast tables with very annoying noises and noises. Such a pity. In such an expensive hotel this cannot happen

The positive is that it is a beautiful property and the staff that you interact with is excellent. The negative is that for one thing they do not have enough space by the pool and beach area to accommodate the number of people that they have rooms for. If you want to spend time by the pool or the beach you had better get your spot at 7 am or you will be relegated to the worst spots left if you can find any. Cabanas can be reserved a year in advance so if you think you are going to show up and reserve one forget it. Also, unless all of your children are over the age of 18 you can forget about relaxing by the pool. One of my three daughters is under 18 so we had to go to the kids pool and the only chairs left at 8 am were sitting in the mud on the grass. Most concerning is that the food preparation is questionable so be careful of what you eat. Two of my Daughters contracted food poisoning and spent a whole night and next day vomiting and running to the bathroom. I immediately notified the resort and the security director called and took a report. First he tried to deny that the food poisoning took place there by saying that it takes 24 for hours for symptoms of food poisoning to appear (google says 2-6 hours) then when we recounted that all of our meals the day prior and that morning were at the resort he said that they would investigate and get back to us. 48 hours later all we heard were crickets. I texted the customer relations manager (because you can t speak to anyone face to face) and asked what they could do to accommodate us for the day of vacation we lost due to the food poisoning my daughters contracted while eating at their resort. I was hoping for maybe a Spa credit or the use of a Cabana. Although they said all of the Cabanas were taken I observed 3 open Cabanas that never once were occupied throughout the whole day. The only thing they offered was to credit us the $71 room service bill. Based on my personal experience staying at luxury resorts I would recommend checking out the Four Seasons as their customer service is second to none.

Just a gorgeous resort! The lobby is majestic, almost comparable to the great Grand Wailea.

Excellent beach with great amenities and the garden is beautiful. All rooms are suites if I m not mistaken - all top notch as you d expect. There s a couple bars and restaurants. For sports, check out the swim up bar. Prices are high but to be expected: think ~25 for a standard plate and ~18 for a cocktail.

Food was amazing. I didn't know that you could perfect something even like pizza to taste so good. Dough so good I loved eating the crust. Never felt undigested eating anything. Wings, charcuterie

Words can't describe the beauty of the Fairmont. From the moment we arrived it was another beautiful sight from another. Gorgeous views, delicious food and amazing staff. We traveled with a 2 year old and they provided a crib in time to put her down after the long day of travel. I highly recommend the Fairmont and cannot wait until we go back.

I was only there for a massage and spa, the former was incredible, the latter was ok too but it's not co-ed so my wife and I had separate spa experiences, as opposed to a couples' experience. We had massage and spa treatments through the same resort in Sonoma (northern California) which was co-ed and much more to our liking.

Great place, just be aware that rooms are not assigned until check in, which wouldn't have been so bad, but they tried to assign me a room on the back side...looking over a parking lot, with a peekaboo ocean view, which was supposed to be a ocean view room, and double beds!
They ignored my requests completely. Had to haggle for a king bed and ocean view. Other than all that...a beautiful place, wonderful restaurants beach, and pools.

The venue and grounds are beautifully maintained and the beach access is phenomenal. What really makes this my favorite resort though are the staff. Every staff member I have encountered has been outstanding (and I've been to this resort a few times). I recommend this location as my #1 choice when visiting Maui.

Beautiful beach front hotel with friendly staff, amazing tropical landscaping (best I've ever experienced at a hotel), and relaxing pools and lounging areas. Made our Maui experience even better. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here.

Mediocre resort that does not represent the fairmont brand. The staff and facilities were regular. The beach was ok. The cocktails disappointing and regular serving purple empress gin like it was any other type of gin!
The adult pool is dirty and the white rubber border never gets cleaned - yuck!

As soon as we got there we were greeted with leis and a refreshing mango drink. The bell hop took our bags, gave us a tour around the hotel, and brought us to our room, and showed us everything in our room. Already started off with great customer service.

We stayed for about a week and the entire time my family and I received nothing but amazing customer service and an experience that truly was beyond my expectations. The entire resort was beautiful, the staff was helpful, the food was good, and the activities were great.

My 6-year-old was thrilled to see their pool with a slide and the beach access. In total there are 4 pools, one of them is an adult only pool. It's very quiet there as you can imagine. The other two pools are perfect for adults and children. There's even a smaller toddler pool. And one has a swim up bar. The highlight for my daughter was the slide. There was plenty of lounging space, they offer free/unlimited towel use, free Sun Bum sunscreen and aloe vera, and food/drink service.

The beach was beautiful (of course). There was equipment rental for boogie boards, snorkel and other water activities. There is also water, towel service, sunscreen/aloe vera in the area too. Super convenient.

There's a nice running/walking path if you don't want to run on the sand. The gym is 24 hours, there are fitness classes, full spa service, kids club and more!

We ate breakfast which was good, pretty standard. My favorite place to eat was K . There were quite a bit of vegan options which I was surprised and very happy about. One of the nights, the waitress at K brought out a pashmina to cover my daughter who fell asleep on the chairs. Who does that? SUPER thoughtful!

I loved the quiet outside seating areas throughout the hotel, including the pond. They also offer a free photo session, which I'm sad I didn't make time to schedule. I can seriously go on and on about this beautiful resort and the amazing service. I'm not usually into "high maintenance" hotels and this type of experience when traveling but I loved the staff and everything here so much I'd definitely come back!

My critiques:
The food/drink service at the pool was pretty slow. It took a long time for them to bring me the menu, then when I finally ordered it took a long time to get my food and then my drink.

Resort is boring and does not have any energy throughout the day. Nothing really to do on the resort. Had to go out to the Andaz (1 mile down the road) for fun and activities. Some of the poolside service people were not helpful to certain people. The remainder of the staff was ok and want we d to help.
