I Was visiting with locals who love dining & drinking at Fairmont so we decided to have cocktails before dining in Wailea. The drink menu is short & easy to navigate(how it should be) I being a light social drinker still found myself interested in more than just one of the selections as was everyone else i was with. The drinks were made with all fresh fruits, juices & other local natural ingredients to create refreshing well executed refreshments. The day we visited there was a poke bar with 5 different selections that also looked great, Fairmonts stunning architecture & design blend seamlessly with the beautiful outdoor environment of the sky, sun, mountains, ocean & foliage. The whole dynamic visual experience constantly evolves with colors changing as the sunset mixes with the clouds to create an amazing natural open air atmosphere that you won't get anywhere else! This experience should definitely be a part of your day while here!

We went to the Fairmont kea lani to have a couples spa day for my fiancees birthday. It was awesome. The customer service was great. Everyone was smiling and greeting us. They were extremely informative. I don't frequent spas but I liked this one. I heard that it didn't offer as many things as other spas but the steam room was comfortable and the hot bench with the stones was relaxing and the multi powered showers was so much fun! The couple massage we had was amazing. I've never been soooooooooo relaxed. And the aromatherapy smelt amazing. My body is still trying to wake up from yesterday!! The best part about everything was that the facility wasn't crowded at all. So it was like having a spa all to ourselves. It was a GREAT day!!

Great service, fabulous food. A bit pricey, but big portions, inventive combinations of palate teasers and cooked to perfection.
I would have been happy with just the first course of melon and sweetbreads. If I wanted to give a critisism it would be, give me a choice of a smaller portion.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here. We enjoyed the excellent service, delicious food and super wonderful sea view. The children had a great time and enjoyed themselves. If you want a really quiet and relaxing vacation, this is the best place for you. We will come again.

Simply put - a really great resort. Fairmont Hotels obviously have a great training program, because all of their hotels are excellent and the staffs amazing. This particular property is of the highest quality all around - excellent food, great beach and pool area, nice gym, friendly staff all around. Like all things in Wailea, rather pricey, but you know exactly what you are getting here and they don't fail to deliver. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The hotel staff is very good at managing the property. Pool area is awesome, they also offer umbrellas free of charge. Alot of the amenities are included, like lei making classes, hula lessons, kids club, and more

The decor, general customer service, cleanliness and overall atmosphere were fantastic. The Fairmont Kea Lani stands out from other hotels in that it has a very beautiful mix of Moroccan/Grecian architectural aspects to it. Add the ocean/beach backdrop and you have an exotic tropical paradise. The pools, water slide, complimentary fitness classes and other fun scheduled events (e.g. koi feeding) are great for those who do not like to venture far from a hotel. The location of the hotel is also ideal because of its close proximity to beautiful beaches such as Makena and Keawakapu beach.

The only hiccups I experienced were the seeming lack of emergency evacuation plan (I was in Hawaii when a mass text about ballistic missile threat was sent) - there was no announcement about where to go or what to do. Staff and guests bumbled around. In my dark humor, I remember thinking that should my last hour be spent at Fairmont Kea Lani, I suppose it would be quite ethereal. Second, I felt a bit slighted during my checkout experience at the Fairmont - it seemed like guests were proactively being offered juice to drink. Even though I waited in the lobby 15 minutes for the bellboy to help me retrieve luggage, I felt that the individuals serving juice seemed to purposely ignore me. It was an uncomfortable feeling devoid of aloha. Third, when retrieving luggage from the bellboy (there is a tag that identifies the number of luggage being held), one of our luggage was not delivered and it was only after exiting the parking lot that we realized this. Despite these events that transpired, I would still recommend the Fairmont, with the assumption that these particular experiences were an anomaly.

My final word is that the Fairmont has a special shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and lotion scent manufactured by Le Labo called Rose 31. I am in love with it. The scent of Rose 31 is enough to lure me back to the Fairmont.

Super lavish hotel with unbelievable amenities the least of which is an awesome beach in Maui. Need I say more? It's actually more like a resort with all kinds of activities. I'm sure everyone will find the swim up bar but you should check out the restaurants for sure. Be sure to get some fresh pineapple and other local fruits. To die for. All rooms are suites with ocean views but they also have two and three bedroom condominiums.

Our daughter went on her final two certification dives with the Wailea Scuba Surf and Paddle crew at the Fairmont Kea Lani Maui. Gary was patient thorough and very safety conscious. Our 13 year old is now a very happy certified diver!

This place was WONDERFUL. We made the mistake of going to Turtle Bay to finish our trip b/c after our stay at the Fairmont, it made others look terrible. I would never chance going to another resort in Maui again b/c the experience here was world class! Can't wait to go back!

I can not say enough great things about this place. Amazing location, oustanding staff, views to die for and amenities galore. We were fortunate enough to stay in one of their villas and it was phenomenal. Beautiful, fully stocked two bed, two bath, two story villa with a private pool and lanai.
If you're looking to relax and feel pampered, this is the spot!!!

From the initial pull in to the departure the staff was over the top great. They took every step to ensure that the experience was. Nothing less than great. The location is good with what seems to be its own private beach. The rooms are very spacious and well appointed. Our oceanfront/sunset views were incredible.

The service was phenomenal, the pools were nice, on site scuba, beach umbrellas, etc. My only problem was that the breakfast was overpriced for the quality. We had much better food nearby for half the price.

When you think of a luxury Maui vacation this has to be the place you think of first. The staff here really know how to deliver the best customer service. Fairmont hotels are always great but this property is our favourite. The suites are spacious and provide all the amenities you would need and come with beautiful lanais to relax on. We highly recommend this property!!

The Fairmont Kea Lani is a nice family style resort in Wailea. The best part was the waterslide in the giant family pool, I mean, A WATERSLIDE. Lots of choice for food and drinks on the property, including a fresh juice bar and the service is really top notch, which is what you'd expect from a Fairmont hotel. That said, the rooms could use an update but for where the hotel is and how busy they are, I don't think it's going to happen soon.

Good hotel. The rooms are spacious and ample living space makes it easy to relax. The view from the hotel is also good, and on a clear day you can see the sunset beautifully. Watch the beautiful sunset over the sea and experience the joy of coming to Maui.

Fairmont Kea Lani was simply amazing for my wife and I. We were warmly greeted by Tara at the front desk and orientated to the property by Petey. Both did an amazing job of making us feel at home immediately upon arrival. Robert in KO and Noe in AMA offered great service at the restaurants. Juliet, our housekeeper, was around constantly but without intrusion to ensure we had everything in our room that we needed. Alex Knight helped us throughout our stay. We cannot wait to return!

Amazing! Great for couples. Beautiful hotel with a pretty and secluded beach. Along with a walking/running trail with access to nearby beaches. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had great ocean and mountain views. We loved our wraparound balcony!! We also loved the adult only pool. Many hotels say they have this but don't enforce it. This hotel had 3 pools. One of which was truly a quite and adults only pool with great food and drink service. Looking forward to our next trip in November!

We have lived on Maui since 2006. Ko's restaurant at the Kea Lani is one of our favorite "go to" places with friends.
Always a warm Hawaiian greeting, great food, with excellent attention by all the staff. Absolutely five star across the board.

Ambiance is beautiful. Tables are far enough apart for nice privacy, wait staff are so friendly and efficient. My ice tea was refreshed with a new glass and not just refilled. And then there was the food. I had rack of lamb. Wow, cooked to perfection. Like my lamb medium, pink and warm. They gave us a complimentary desert because it was our 40th anniversary. I will return to this restaurant for sure.

Amazing, usually when I am in a hotel I just check in then leave to go do something more fun. This hotel is different. I never felt the urge to leave. They had everything, decor, food, amenities, activities, and service. There is no doubt that I'll be staying here the next time I come to Maui.

The place was gorgeous. Loved all the pools and the fact they had kids stuff to do. I do not like the fact you can't drink your own drink whether it is alcoholic drink or not because they want you to buy their drinks. A bottle of beer is $10.00 and depending on the mixed drink is around $20.00. Soda pop is $4.50. Other than that is great place, great service, great employees and very helpful and friendly. I would definitely go back.
