I can go on and on raving about this place. I'm about 2 weeks late but as I'm sitting here on a weekend vacation, I'm comparing this restaurant to restaurants where I'm currently staying. The goat cheese fondue..... It is seriously delicious and looks too pretty to eat the way its plated. Even their mimosas are out of this world. A MIMOSA. How can you make a mimosa even more delicious? They can! The service is excellent and friendly, and not fake friendly. Its I love my job and we are happy you are here, friendly. Management should be proud. This place has it all.

Stopped in for a quick early dinner before a show. It was Halloween weekend, so the staff was all in costume and it added a fun touch to the experience. On top of that, wine was half price. So... My wife had the scallops and pumpkin risotto, I had the rabbit cassoulet. Both were tremendous. Service was stellar. Ambiance is great. Will definitely go for a longer dinner/date night soon.

This is a great date spot. It's cozy, upscale yet comfortable, and they have great plates to share. I made it here for happy hour and was not disappointed in the drink specials. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great food recommendations. Will definitely be back!

Very small food and beer menu. Too pricey for such basic food with small portions. Our server, Erica, was pretty nice, but it was very clear she was on some kind of drugs. She came back from a break and couldn't get our checks right to save her life. We had a table of 4 split 3 ways and she repeatedly gave us the wrong check 3 times, so we just decided to pay the wrong one for less than we ordered. Would not recommend.

Justin from Vermont was an outstanding waiter and new addition to the org. Service was fabulous to say the least. The fondue appetizer did not disappoint. We loved it and an order of the famous chicken wings. We took advantage of the 1/2 price bottle of wine special and ordered the Italian Procesco which was brilliant. Thanks all. Cheers.

Excellent food, cocktails, and atmosphere. My only complaint is the lack of goat dishes on the menu. Right after opening there was a braised goat entree which was great, wish something similar would return. Last week the goat items were was goat cheese and goat sausage. Other times goat cheese and carpaccio. We want more goat!

This is a fantastic place for a date, or a catch up meet up. I love getting their meet and cheese platters with a glass (well, lets be honest. a bottle of wine). Fainting Goat has been in the neighborhood for a few years now and has evolved the menu over that time. i think it is in a good place. The space is awesome and the staff is fantastic. look out for some of the prices.. a bit high in my opinion.

If you are looking for a nice and calm bar where you can seat and discuss with friends or colleagues, I recommend this place. The staff is also very nice. I once reserved a table for 12 people and had to make lots of changes last minute and the servers were very accommodating.

My friends and I got a last minute brunch reservation before the Pride parade. We arrived exactly at our reservation time and were promptly seated. Despite the crowd, our food came quickly and tasted great. Best part: our server never let our bottomless beverages get empty! I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

Patrick the general manager was rude. The waiter Taryn was amazing. She was hospitable and catered to our needs. She made sure we were comfortable && felt sound. The manager though made us feel gratefully uncomfortable. Forcing us to leave after we paid our tip plus we left a gratuity for our very gracious waiter. Rico && Olivia are gray as well. The staff is delightful. Just not management.

I went there for brunch, it took three tries to get my drink order correct-- wrong drink, dirty glass. The service was very slow. We made an appointment for 2 hour brunch but they stopped us early because they don't serve brunch past a certain time. This was not informed when we made our reservation... for brunch. The food was good.

Really nice place, I think the beverage program here is much better than the fare. Cheese plate is 2 cheeses and so much of them that you wonder why they didn't just got with half the quantity and higher quality and variety. The octopus really needs some flavor, the sauce seems like avocado which really has no taste... Really what does advocodo taste like... Nothing. But the ambivalence is great the drinks and Cabernet was awesome.

We only went for happy hour, so I can only speak to the drinks. The atmosphere was great, much cooler looking on the inside then I thought it would be. The staff was very friendly. And I liked that it wasn't over crowded, although we were there on a Monday. They have a happy hour drink from all categories (1 beer, 1 red, 1 white, 1 sparkling) and the prices are pretty good. I'll definitely try it again for happy hour and maybe some bar snacks. Probably skip dinner as though don't have a ton of vegetarian options.

We had drinks here and tried to stay for dinner, but the wait was too long. I was impressed by Fainting Goat's beer selection on tap - they had a DC 3Star white IPA - solid place for drinks. Good crowd, relaxing environment. Can't wait to have dinner here one night.

We had a delicious brunch here. We made reservations right after they opened and were seated immediately. The chicken and waffle was delicious- between the taste of fried chicken and cinnamon, you just had to take another bite. The egg pastry was also very good. I would definitely come back and recommend this place (at least for brunch)!

Friendly service given how hip this place is. Would suggest reservation. They've got some neat stuff on the somewhat limited menu. Goat cheese fondue was delicious if a bit over spiced given the natural tang of the goat cheese. Chicken liver pate had a pleasant winy and reassuring funk flavor. Cauliflower was honestly a bit of a limp rip off. Entrees, pasta, were a bit cold and the flavors we're fine. Will want to try something else next time. Good cocktails, wine list could leave more to be desired. There is a near constant parade of interesting flame-catalyzed aromas through the place, most very good and tantalizing (frankincense?), others just burnt plastic.

Had brunch here on a Saturday and sat at the bar with Chris, who was a delight for conversation. I had the wedge salad, hubby had a tostada and we loved both dishes. We also both had bottomless mimosas, and they had multiple flavors other than plain orange juice - cranberry, grapefruit, mango, and another I can't remember. We really enjoyed it and will be back.

If you enjoy delighting your pallet with sensational flavor, and texture combinations this is the place for you. Every dish offers a tantalizingly, refreshed take on familiar dishes. Nice crowd, but expect to have people stand over you in certain areas, as there's only standing room at the bar anything beyond 8.
