Been my favorite apple orchard since I was a littl...
Been my favorite apple orchard since I was a little kid! Still had all my favorites

Really fun place for Apple picking with lots of space for social distancing. No one wears masks but if you do, you'll be safe at least.
We have been going to Apple Jacks for over 10 years. We go twice a season.... first for the sweet tango and then later in the fall for our favorite apple, the keepsake. The place use to be a hidden gem but you will see why it is not anymore when you go. Highly recommend for kid entertainment and apple enjoyment in a variety of ways.
Went to Apple Jacks for the first time, brought my neice & nephew. We went to the horse rides and as one of the ponies was walking I noticed it was dragging its hoof. I mentioned it to the lady and she told me that they were slow to get moving and nothing was wrong with it. As the pony came back around I told her that it really does look like the pony is dragging its hoof. She said very loudly in a rude tone that NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY PONY! It was also 86 degrees out and very humid! I already felt bad for them all. Other parents in line noticed the pony and also said it looked like it was dragging its hoof. As we walked away another mom told us she noticed that pony was holding its leg up earlier. There is lots to do at the orchard but I have to say I was not impressed with this lady and will not be returning there because of her attitude and there was clearly something wrong.
I adore this orchard! It's cute and quieter than some others. The car ride is very nice, great for a chat. Lots of kids running around and some great cider and pies. The owner is so sweet and there were plenty of apples even at the tail end of the season. I highly suggest this place for a fun day out!
Have always loved this place but the 2019 changes of charging to go across the street has be rather annoyed and debating if I'll return.
Employee mask discipline is lax and resentful. Not sure if anything can be done about it, but the bees keep you from eating outside without dodging them the whole time.
We have been going to Apple Jack's for some years now. We love it! The kids love the animals and all the fun activities offered. They enjoyed the corn put and bounce area today. We love to pick raspberries (we picked nearly 5 lbs today) I love the wooden areas for pictures with the year on them! And of coarse apples! Highly recommend!
My favorite orchard. So sweet and a lot for kids to do.
Great for the family. A lot of activities for kids.
Love this orchard! Busy, but great variety of activities that are well priced.
Not a fan that you need to pay a fee just to enter the orchard to pick your own apples. We love the donuts and pies and the nice hill in the back to sit and relax near the stream. It's a beautiful space. We also appreciated the covid precautions this year (limited the number of people indoors at a time and requiring masks on the property.)
Fun local apple orchard, lots for kids to do in the late summer/fall! Great apple variety and incredible cider!
We just had my daughter s first birthday party at Applejack s today and we couldn t be more pleased with the service. With the weather being what it was today (felt more like summer than fall in October 8th) it was the BUSIEST I ve ever seen it here. Despite the huge number of people, Kit and the rest of the staff greeted us calmly and jovially and even suggested that we move our party to The Loft rather than deal with the bees outside. The suggestion was perfect we decorated our area, they had our cider and donuts ready, and the rest of the day we created countless memories. They even found time to check in on us several times! We fully recommend using Applejack s for your next birthday party!
My favorite orchard. Prices are great on apples and staff is always friendly.
Our new favorite family fall trip. Everything I and my 2 year old both love all in one place :)
Edit: we come here to do the maze and tractor ride every year. They are now charging 5 dollars to do one or the other. Last year it was $2 per activity. Then they they say you can have an unlimited activity wrist band for 15... that's 30 for 2 people to do what I could have done last year for 8. This is the first time in 5 years we didnt ride the tractor beacuse of this asinine new policy. Then went to try to get some lunch. Didnt even have apple brats, another staple of why we come here. Might as well go to severs that's only 20min from my house. Charges the same to go and is MUCH larger.
NO LONGER THE BEST:
Apple Jack's is the best around. It's got a lot of activities for both kids and adult. Their apples are by far the best around.
This place was lovely. Fun shop and pick your own apples. I was not expecting the harvest festival sort of games and events. They where so neat to see.
An apple cannon, corn maze, corn put and more. It's a great time for kids and adults.
Buy some cider. It is heavenly!
What a fun place to have a company family outing.
The Staff was amazing helping me get everything together for a last minute event.
Thank you to Nisa and Kit You both ROCKED!!
Our group had a Blast!!!!
Great place for the entire family with lots of entertainment for kids. I m a little disappointed they started charging an entrance fee to enter the apple orchard side across the road. Even adults need to pay $5 just to pick apples (wagon ride included) when it used to be free.
We've been going to Apple Jacks for several years now. This used to be a 5 star orchard. This year is the first year they started charging $5 per person (even for infants) just to enter the apple orchard. I'm ok with paying more on apple prices to support local orchards / farms but for charging an admission fee to pick apples and especially charging for infants is disappointing.
There's multiple rides for kids, as well as tattoos, face painting, and snacks. Apple picking was also the best!
Delicious apple cider donuts, fresh apple cider and cute gift shop with a variety of items! Looks very kid-friendly and this place has a charming vibe going on here too! The apple pie crust tasted like cardboard to be honest but that s why you buy your own apples and make your own pie homemade! The apple donuts are worth a visit here in and of themselves though!
Love it! Apple donuts are excellent! Tons to do, will not be bored!
Numerous wonderful photo-ops around a beautiful setting. Super family fun. Love the apple fritter bread for great toast. Oh, plus apples.
Great place for the kids. Huge wait for the inside food.
Always a great time every fall. Covid restrictions were a bit disappointing no corn pit or barn yard wagon rides, but still fun.
Very cute place but parking was difficult and certain activities were pretty pricey. Overall a good experience!
Friendly staff and wonderful place to visit. We enjoyed picking up the apples.
Tons of fun for children and adults. Plenty of activities. Staff is super helpful and friendly.
Good selection of Harvest activities and food. We'll organized for crowds.
Wonderful Apple Orchard to visit. They don't just sell apples. There is such a nice gift store too. Many, activities if you are interested. Bring the kids cause their going to enjoy all the stuff to do. Don't leave without having an apple cinnamon donut, so good. Check out the website for activities, times and dates.
This Apple orchard is one of the best in this area! They have the best pastries made fresh daily and hot food is served for lunch. The soup & chili are amazing! The kids love this all time favorite year after year!
When you realize how ridiculous the admission, apple prices, gift shop price, food price, you will wonder why you did it. Sure it's the country, there are apples, but there are so many other nicer orchards to pick from ! They hire kids and are mean to them - I've seen and heard them scolding the teens when they did a itty bitty mistake. The family that owns the place obviously doesn't train or appreciate their staff - staff is just there for a month or so - why be nice? I won't ever recommend this place.
Very fun for the whole family. Apple picking is enjoyable watching the smile on the kids faces.
They have a lot of fun things to do with the kids. Our grandkids loved the zip line.
The place has quickly gone down hill. It used to be a fun place to spend an afternoon, but they ve since implemented an absurd new policy where you need to pay just to access the apples, and THEN you also need to pay for the apples you pick. These prices are not cheap. It is an asinine and poorly considered policy with little rational thought and clearly built out of greed. Save your time, money, and respect for someplace better. Shame on you, I will never ever be back. Good riddance, you re a farce.
I've been going here since I was little, and even though it's changed, it's still my favorite part of autumn. When I was little, it was a lot less well known, and much smaller. Now, it's grown so much, and although it gets crowded sometimes, it's still a fun thing to do with my family. Their caramel apples are the best I've ever had, and it's so much fun to pick your own apples to eat or make pies with at home. 10/10, I love Applejack and always will.
Last year we went, it was free to get in. This year we go in they decided to charge you $5 just to get in on top of paying for the apples you pick. You are are charged for each individual apple unlike last year when they just charged you by the pound. It was quite upsetting because until this point it was my favorite orchard to go to. We will most likely not return next year. :/
Awesome family apple orchard! Lots to do and the food is delicious....
This orchard was recommended to me by a coworker. For my first time going it was a little too busy for my liking. They have a great selection of apples that you can pick or already picked and lots of family activities. If you do not like big busy crowds this is not the place for you.
Always love visiting Apple Jack's in the fall... Gotta be sure to get the caramel apple sundae with the cinnamon ice cream!
I can never put into words the feeling I get at an apple orchard, but it's one of my favorite fall activities. Pick your own apples or raspberries, ride some rides and buy the apple donuts.
Exactly what is expected and a few extras for the kids. Even on a snowy Columbus Day, the orchards and activities entertain all ages. From the Apple Cider doughnuts to chili, from corn pit to corn maze, Apple Jack's delivers on fun and food.
The same orchard we've been bringing our family to for the past decade. It never disappoints the grown ups or the kids. We love the corn maze, corn pit, apple cannon and variety of tractor rides. We always leave with a big bag or self-picked apples and pumpkins. Our experience is great because the Kahlers make it their priority. Thanks Mike!
Fantastic apple orchard. Great activities for the family. U-pick apples were fun with highly desirable apples available for picking. Great gift shop with lots of options. Way to support local business.
Best tasting Apple Pie in the world. They are not afraid of cinnamon. We also baked the frozen rhubarb pie when we home and I was transported back in time! Reminds me how rhubarb pie is supposed to taste like!!! Simply the best of all time. Amazing!
They now charge admission just to walk in there. Admission does not include anything but a 5 minute tractor ride, probably used that as an excuse to charge you. Everything else is still extra. I gave them money for nothing in return. The place is a money pit especially if you have kids. Go somewhere else where they dont charge you to enter, than charge you again to do anything.
This was a very beautiful apple orchard. I really enjoyed my time here. Everyone was very nice and helpful there
I've been going to this orchard since my granddaughter was 3 yrs old this is where she got her first pony ride. There's a play area for kids to runaround. Gave hay rides and hay to play on. A little different this year with COVID 19 going on. Required masks inside for the gift shop. But the apples are out side along with squashes, pumpkins to purchase. My granddaughter is 10 now and we will always enjoy our visit to Apple Jack Orchards.
The kids had a lot of fun there... it was great watching them play...
Very crowded, very expensive, apples are way more price of a regular stores.
Not terrible when outside, but it was so cramped inside and fairly expensive for the experience. The dining area attached to the shop was a mess and due to people leaving food and slop all over my family and I had gotten mustard on our clothing when trying to squeeze through the crowds.
Workers were polite but slow, maybe they were overwhelmed? Overall I'm disappointed and covered in mustard.
Lots for kids to do, beautiful fall setting, nice store and food options
Great family active. It really made fall feel like fall
Always have a great time at Apple Jacks! Amazing social distancing and covid protection measures in place... They didn't disappoint! Tons of apples, cider, fresh doughnuts, pies... A great little gift shop. Love this place!
We are visiting from Colorado and had a great time here. All the kids loved the corn pit. Glad we were able to come to this place!
Perfect place to go for a fun Fall outing. So glad we decided to check it out! Pumpkins, Apples, Raspberries, Wagon Ride, Corn Maze, Gift Shop, and Restaurant! Lots of activities for little kids, too. Highly recommend!
Go here every year with the kids. It's a ton of fun with great food.
Live this place, very affordable rides/games. Come here every year.
We went there in 2016 for my babies first pumpkin patch. She loved farm animals.
There are lots of fun for kids. Absolutely we loved!
Bring the family here every year and it makes for a nice day. This place has a little bit of everything, corn maze, animals, delicious apples, baked goods, pumpkins and lots of activities for the kids.
This MONEY HUNGRY place started charging $5 for admission fee for every person, then they charge for the activities on top of it. We are OK with paying for the activities but NOT an admission fee just to walk around just to pay more for activities and store etc. There are better orchards for the family that do not charge admission fee. Stay away from this place, they are lovers of MAMMON!!!!
Fun times with a petting zoo, orchards and homemade pies, goodies and a wonderful variety of items to purchase in their store.
Love this place! We go every year with the kids. The donuts, gift shop and apples are awesome. Highly recommend!
Went here yesterday, a Wednesday, no tasting stations for apples. I did buy a caramel apple for over $4. Bit into it and it was rotten. I hope my squash isn't rotten. Donuts were good and the caramel i was able to save was good with the apples i bought. Too bad.
Friendly people and wonderful apples and baked goods
