I visited for a conference held at the hotel. My experience was quite enjoyable, the architecture is asthetically pleasing and it was fun to explore. Like many buildings in Vail the building was built along the landscape which makes for interesting, albeit somewhat confusing, paths and corridors. The service was excellent, the front desk took care of any problem I had quickly and efficiently.

The amenities, facilities and location are primo! There isn't one thing that I would say to improve. The staff was absolutely accommodating, friendly and relatable. I will stay here every single time I'm in Vail for business or pleasure!

I've always wanted to stay here and have been to Vail for many years. My wife and I go every Thanksgiving. I called and spoke to an agent and due to COVID they asked if I wanted to purchase travel insurance. I trusted them and said yes. Was the first time I've ever purchased it. Well let me tell you its a scam. My wife got sick and not COVID and Lodge at Vail was the agent who sold me the policy and now AIG won't reimburse me the money I spent that was non-refundable. My wife was given specific instruction not to travel as she had a bad ear infection and we had to cancel. Lodge at Vail shame on you. You surely could do better than that. You have a nice resort why did you have to ruin it?

Had such a wonderful experience at the spa in the lodge at Vail. Maddy took great care of me and made me feel so relaxed. After my facial I could really tell the difference in my face. All the staff was really nice. Maddy gets a 5 star rating from me!! Great experience!!!

It's expensive, but you pay for location and service. You will have to have your car valet parked. That was the only thing I didn't care for. The hot tubs and pool are open year round and are located next to a large gas fire pit. If you spend all day either shredding snow or falling on your face, they feel amazing. This place does have some magic to it. With the fire going and the steam from the hot tubs wafting over.. Pretty cool. The rooms have soaker tubs as well. This place is good if you are a light sleeper, because you can leave the fan on in the room and you have access to a radio with an accessory plug (white noise). The walls are thick too. Two restaurants are attached to the lodge and they are both amazing, including the breakfast buffet. There is a fire pit near the restaurants as well. The slopes are right out the back. There is a nice full sized gym attached. They are slowly going green as well, which is appreciated. This place is the total package.

First time in Vail and The Lodge didn't disappoint. Wonderful resort with great shops, eateries, and bars around. Staff was great. There was a tiny hiccup with our reservations but they were accommodating. Would go back!

We had an event and Derek made the event a great success! His attention to detail and quick responses to our questions were more than appreciated. Derek organized and set up the right tables, sound systems and catering. He was there at both the beginning and end of our event, making sure everything went well.

The location is very good, the breakfast staff and cleanliness exceptional, but the reception does not speak Spanish, although they say it is spoken.
I have removed a star because it does not seem normal to me that a hotel of this category does not have transfers to other nearby stations. Yes. That provides a private transportation paying a lot of money for the round trip.
After 24 hours of flight, you want to visit Beaver Creek, Keystone and Breck that are included in the EPIC Ski Pass. It has been very difficult to access any of these stations.
It seems to me that the hotel should have established each day of the week to visit these stations for clients who wish to go and be able to make a group each day.
For example: Monday Beaver Creek, Tuesday keystone ......
I hope that my proposal is studied to improve services to clients.

Stayed at Villa Valhalla, which is managed by The Lodge at Vail. Bunk beds were very small and rather flimsy. Definitely not made for young adults, which is what we planned on using them for. Stairs to get to these bunk beds was extremely More

This place is a Vail classic. The unit we stayed in (#405) was clean and well-maintained. My only complaint would be that the upstairs rooms were too warm at night, even with the window open. It was literally a 5 minute walk to the gondola and the Lodge had worked out a deal with Vail Sports to be able to leave your rental skis with a valet by the slopes instead of schlepping them back to the hotel. They have a (VERY popular) afternoon service of hot chocolate, hot cider and cookies in the lobby--get there early if you want some! Would happily stay here again

Best place in vail village. Gus and his brother are always so helpful. Wood burning fireplaces are grandfathered in and this is one of the last places to have it. And then there's elways. Plus free shuttle anywhere in vail and beaver.

I had valet parking by Scott (very friendly and efficient), an 80 min massage from Matt ( amazing) then a 2 hour super facial with Arminda, new to The Lodge at Vail, but very experienced! Sunny, the spa manager, is always a delight.

This is a very nice hotel. Great location, right in the middle of Vail. Rooms are big, clean and very nice furnished. Breakfast at Cucina is fabulos, dinner at Elway's is fantastic and room service is extraordinar. The pool and the spa is very clean. The staff is very profesional and dedicated.

Overall The Lodge at Vail is a great and very well located hotel with fantastic amenities. The gym and spa in particular are amazing. The hotel restaurant offers good coffee, smoothies and breakfast. The staff was always very friendly and attentive.

One piece of advice before booking a room: you should check in advance what type of room you're going to get. When we arrived we were not happy with our room at first. The reason being that there was a balcony (which was not accessible from our room but belonged to the neighboring room) in front of our window. The rooms aren't large so this basically meant that you would have other guests sitting outside on that balcony, literally 10 feet from your bed, leaving you with no privacy.

In our case we expressed our disappointment and the staff was very understanding and offered us a different room immediately.

Had a great stay at The Lodge at Vail. Our room was nicely appointed, the accommodations were fantastic, and the service was top notch. The hot tubs were perfect after a day on the slopes. It's central location in the heart of Vail Village made it convenient for skiing and apres ski. It's an older property but I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

2 bedroom suite. Rooms were comfortable enough although hated the pillows on the bed and the hallway smelled strongly of a cleaning agent. Fireplace in room would have been a nice touch but fires (whether started by staff or us) went out after 5 minutes. Wood burning fireplace in lobby was broken and replaced with a small gas one. There is no social element at all at this hotel so you need to go somewhere else for that. The breakfasts at Cuccina were very tasty and the portions were healthy. The pm cider, cocoa, and cookies were a welcome touch. The spa was great but none of the lockers locked in the Men's locker room. Most of the concierges were super friendly and helpful as were the lobby staff that helped with skis shuttle etc.

Great and megic place, very beautiful and quiet, the pool was warm and nice,
Wonderful view although it was in the summer and not at the ski season
The staff were very friendly and kind.
I forgot my credit card at coffee shop near the hotel, the staff sand it to me.
Waiting to come back. Soon.

Just a note. If visiting during the summer make sure your room has air conditioning! It was 86 when I was there in June and most places DO NOT HAVE AIR CONDITIONING which is unthinkable for a group mostly from Mississippi. Some rooms do and some don't.
Seriously guys! Make sure you get 1 with AC.

This is the most expensive place I've ever stayed at nearly $1800 for 3 nights. This does include the hidden, non posted surcharges and $35 a day to park and $5 each time you need your car. No private parking was available at all. Check-in was ok and room was nice but not plush. You do get slippers and a robe to wear to the pool. It's nice that it's nextdoor to the Village shopping center. I was there for a wedding event so didn't try the hotel restaurants.

I had a tiny room w/1980s bathroom decor, complete w/dirty towels in the shower. The room was hot at night. Notifed front desk, but it was same story that night. No temp gauge in my room. Also, didn't refill coffee and creamer. Staff are nice, but this isn't worth $200+ a night.

Because of Covid-19 I tried to reschedule my date and move to another date later in the year (especially because when I called they stated they were completely sold out). They are not flexible in switching dates during the pandemic. Most other hotels are more flexible.

So far it is poor. For the price of $200 per night I at least expected to be able to sleep. Instead I have double beds, no air conditioning... So I'm trying to sleep with my windows open.. But unfortunately the room faces the parking lot so all I'm hearing is car doors and the valet. At least the super eight provided breakfast. I can get a Continental breakfast here for $17.00. If you are into arrogant service and overpriced amenities, the rooms are very dated, this is the place for you. Here for a youth soccer tournament and this is a host hotel. Poor choice on my part.

Beautiful hotel, beds are extremely comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at the Lodge at Vail! Only two negatives 1.) The blinds and curtains in the room do a terrible job at blocking out light.. and the sun pierces into our room at 6am! 2.) During the summer, there is free parking at the city.. yet the hotel is valet only and charges an absurd amount to park your car. So for those uninformed, yoy can park for free during the summer in the vail city parking garages a short walk from the hotel. Don't be scammed into pay 30 bucks a night to have your car parked!

Everything from the service to the rooms are incredible. The staff is super helpful and friendly without being annoying. The beds are some of the most comfortable I've slept in. The spa and amenities are beautiful. I highly recommend the room service.
