Went with 2 sons and a friend who uses a wheelchair.
Boys and I have been before but not for a while.
It was great. I actually managed to stop and read/listen to some of the information as we went down. My friend found everything to be accessible and with starting at the top and working our way down meant that there was no issue with having to push chair up slopes.
Will be going again.

Loved every minute of it we came for my Granddaughter's first birthday. We loved the sensory side of it as she is profoundly deaf and her responses were amazing again a fantastic day out

Amazing place to visit for a day out, a vast variety of marine life. Was a great perk to know you can visit all year round after paying for a ticket too. Hull centre is just a 10-15 minutes from there too which was handy too. Beautiful place, definitely going again.

Was forced to wait in the rain for 45 minutes to get in but good once inside, the lack of preparation for bad weather ruined many peoples experience including mine as we were drenched through before ever reaching the entrance and staff weren't doing anything to attempt to keep waiting guests out of the rain especially in the cold weather

Visited The Deep on a sunday. It was really busy and there were queues to get in and queues for the lifts so definitely go during the week if you can.

The tanks are amazing, they look much bigger than the ones at sea life centres. Lots of information points and interactive things for the kids. Small soft play area at the end which is a great idea.

We went on a monday during school term-time mid afternoon as the school groups were leaving so didn't have the crowded problems other reviewers have mentioned. RThe staff we spoke to were all lovely and right from the start our kids loved it and were mesmerised by the many different fish and sea creatures and I have to say as parents we were too. By far the best large aquarium we have been to.

A great place for me. A lot of different fish and other amphibians. Great diversity, the object is big, it's very nice to walk on it. There are many facilities for people with children and people with disabilities. There is even a place for fun for the little ones. Interesting is organized. The big surprise is that by buying one ticket you can enter again within a year of your visit.

Some impressive fish, sharks and other see life but way too busy even on a week day when kids are at school. You re lucky if you can find a good spot to view the fish. Cafe as you would expect is bog standard and expensive.

Very good place for a couple of hours. Lots of good exhibits and information. After two hours of a leisurely stroll around, we had finished..

Having been to.places like Tropical World in Leeds, it is more than twice the price for little, if any, extra.

Simply the best day out Hull has to offer.

Simply the best day out Hull has to offer.

So many species of fish spread out over many tasks ranging from the small to the huge endless oceans tank. The is even a small colony of penguins and a python.

The staff are extremely knowledgeable and always on hand to answer your many questions. The gift shop was reasonably priced as was the parking.

It is worth noting that the postcode on the address takes you to the wrong place. Head for the premier Inn and navigate from there.

The aquarium is okay, not one of the best but the children like it. The 12 month ticket is a bonus. The real issue is they have no concept of moderation when it comes to volume of the presentations. Apart from making children cry you only get to hear one word in three due to the speaker distortion. Less is more.

Drove up to Hull with the kids 2 hours drive. Location lovely, parked easily and didn't have much of a queue to get in. Then I was disappointed I prefer seeing the fish etc to facts and tasks. Finally found the fish tank. It was deep but that was it really. Nothing out of the ordinary to see. The fishes just went round and round like they would in a bowl. The tunnel was small and packed full of non movers. The cafe was tiny and understaffed. The food was not the best and the queue was huge. Couldn't get out the car park upon leaving as I'd been blocked in . I can go again for free though but I don't think I will.

It's ok, the good bits are very good but lots of average in between, sadly the turtle tank is no longer there since our last visit.

An expensive entry price and having to pay parking outside the venue, it all adds up to an "ok" experience.

Door price should have been half imho, I would have added an extra star had the price been more reasonable.
