This is an amazing place to visit. It isn't just about looking at fish and penguins is very educational too. Your tickets usually get converted to an annual pass which means you can go back multiple times.

So much for the kids to do. A family friendly place with a well-informed staff. The Jellyfish exhibition was a favourite of mine. Other highlights include the large open tank at the beginning of the live exhibits and the Penguin habitat. The young lady we spoke to knew all their names. I'll be back. I'm keen to see the new Penguin babies once they're hatched.

Really informative and relaxed with lots of Interactive activities for Adults and Children alike. Can't wait to go back and experience the Two Rivers Restaurant!

Oh and I almost forgot the fact it's Great Value too as the admission we took allows you to return as often as you like over the next twelve months - it would definitely be rude not to since I'm now in Hull

Really long que to get In on a Sunday unhappy kids before we got in. Grumpy staff (guessing as it was so busy) it was absolutely rammed couldn't get my child close to anything as there was so many people there so basically paid to walk around when we could get close the marine life was fabulous but don't feel like value for money will not be coming again

Wonderful place, far more than I expected. It starts off with a history of life on earth with a time trail and different interactive stations. Then there are the fish tanks, 2 main ones with a coral reef environment and then one with the More

The Deep is superb. Was very busy when we went on a Saturday in March, was very windy off the Estuary too but queue went down quickly. Lots to see and the kids loved it. Plus you can go back again for up to a year on your pass

We really enjoyed it today my 18 month old son loved it so much to see. The only thing that spoiled it was the fact that I was ill and was sick on the way out. The staff were really nice and helpful brought me water and a sick bucket then let us out through emergency exit so we didn't have to queue with buggy. Thanks again

Enjoyed this place for the hole hour and a half it lasted. My son especially enjoyed being able to touch some of the animals.
Could do with a big indoor play area or something just to make it last a bit longer and kids get bored of looking at fish

The Deep is a welcome space for everyone. Young or old and is disable friendly. As aquariums go, The Deep is one of the biggest. The main tank is three stories high and you have multiple viewing points at different depths allowing views of the fish which prefer different levels. There is also a large range if fish, from leopard and nurse sharks to angel fish and turtles. Yes, I know turtles aren't fish but you get the idea. The venue also has rooms that can be used for education and on this score, as you would expect, The Deep is highly educational. It doesn't shy away from tackling the difficult issues of plastic pollution or sustainable fishing either. Oh, and they have penguins too! All in all, its well worth a visit. Though I'm biased, I live in Hull and will promote it at every opportunity. Having said that, I visit The Deep at every opportunity I get. Their pay once and visit as often as you want within a year free (except key dates such as Bank Holidays) is a real bonus. There's nothing more than spending a few hours relaxing watching the fish.

Nice day out with my parents . Felt sorry for the large fish with not much movement space. Cafe was the smallest portion I gave ever seen and cost me 5 pounds. For veg and potatoes, smaller than a child portion. I am vegan and didnt see any vegan option. I will take my own food next time.

Not been anywhere with the family during the pandemic and chose the deep with it being indoors and wheelchair accessible but mainly due to have timed arrival slots made it avoid any overcrowding. The kids loved it and suitable for all ages. Staff were very polite and helpful. Would highly recommend

It's ok but to be honest I expected more. They offer free returns...Yes free returns for all year so you can go as often as you want for free but how many times would you want to go again. Ok for children.

Amazing! There is a lot of interactivtivity. And so many daily things going on that you'll always find something entertaining! The range of aquarium (and non aquarium) life here is just amazing. Way better than a sea life center. The tickets are well priced - around 11-15 pounds, and a year long entry. The gift shop here is huge- with a wide variety of items available to purchase!

Drove for nearly two hours on a wet and soggy Sunday to see this place with my wife and teenage daughter (who needed photos of the marine life on show to help with her A - levels) It didn't disappoint. Glad we arrived early as parking was no problem at 10.00am and was right outside the main entrance. So much to see here... Rays, sharks, turtles, frogs, penguins and fish of all shapes and sizes! Recommended!

Well worth the visit.

Well worth the visit.
This sea aquarium is different from all the rest as it explores the history or our planet and the oceans. All the exhibits are easy for all the family to understand.
There is access for disabled users. Parking is easy and affordable.
Staff are all friendly and helpful and the food facilities are good.
Using our annual pass we have been a couple of times now and really enjoyed it.
It's rare for me to score any venue so highly but we think the Deep really deserves 5 stars especially as a charitable organisation.

Fantastic place to visit, cant wait till my lad is older so we can spend more time here. Great value if you get the yearly pass, you can visit as often as you like and it only costs a couple of extra quid. Does get very busy in school holidays and rainy days like any indoor venue. well worth a trip.

Bit overpriced and you can easily go round it "to quick" was also annoyed as the cafe doesn't have any still drinks in the soft drinks fridge; fizzy or water!!

Very clean however and you can tell the staff work very hard to fulfill the best experience. For me and my family however it was a lot of hype, with minimal pleasure.
