Great atmosphere great food great service what else could you ask for!
The service is very friendly, the whole staff is really nice but...food is not as good as I thought it would be, I had high expectations but is only OK.
I came here for dinner and drinks. Nice patio area and service. Food was tasty and flavorful. They have dj and music in the evening. I had a cucumber mint margarita and the steak plate, but very good.
Fantastic food, very kind staff members, regularly great character. They charge fair rates and the food quality is good. 5 stars.
Margaritas went fast due to size, but they were delicious. The nachos are too good!
Very nice place, delicious food, first class attention
Very nice spot, good ambiance and clean.
Maybe we caught them on a bad night. Three mediocre dinners.
Antonio was amazingly helpful and easy to work with in coordinating a small event tonight. Food and drinks were very good, atmosphere lovely. Thank you servers and staff...we shall return!
The best place to eat, food of the best quality and first class service, weekends are the best with lots of fun as is the DJ with good music and you can dance, the patio is very large with plenty of space to enjoy your night.
Fantastic place to buy some food when in a hurry. The customer service is efficient, prices are reasonable, good atmosphere. Will come visit again
The service is regularly speedy, fantastic atmosphere, nice employees. Will visit again when I am nearby.
Service and food was good. Enchiladas we're tasty. Spicy salsa is very good. Margaritas are made with fresh mix vs store bought. Would be back again
Very nice atmosphere, enjoyed the outdoor seating. Food was good
It's been 7 to 10 years since I've been here. It was called Padris Martini Bar back then. It was an incredibly fun place and I met some really cool people. I'm happy to see that Mejico has recaptured the warm and inviting ambience that Padris had. The staff and their service was excellent. Good happy hour til 6. Unlike Padris, Mejico has plenty of free parking.Hopefully the fun crowd from the past will come back and fill this place up again.
Went there for a private party service food and drinks are excellent nice little place in the Agoura hills
I've seen several restaurants come and go in this location and I hope this one lasts, as the food was really good. For me, Mexican food is pretty much the same stuff everywhere. However, I tasted some new flavors and textures at Mejico. The waiter was really friendly and brought us a couple of tasty experimental salsas that the cook was trying out. The chili margaritas had just the right amount of heat. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and drink that we received. I'll be back.
Came here to drop off a wedding cake for a beautiful bride, I drove about an hour from home. Decided to stay to eat and food was so delicious. I ate salmon fish tacos and my hubby ate short rib tacos. It was fresh and hot. Chips and salsa was fire. So yummy. Restaurant was very clean, customer service was excellent.
Best margaritas I've had! I ordered the habanero and black berry margarita, both fantastic. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
Nice restaurant, great drinks, but while the food was not bad, it was a little underwhelming.
The ambiance is really romantic. And the place is spotless. Very clean, very fresh. The food was mediocre. It was well prepared and fresh, but was flavorless. We went thru lots of salsa just to try to give it flavor. Very bland food.
Delicious food in a big relatively typical Mexican restaurant ambience with good, friendly service with the usual but really good libations.
Staff was very nice. Awesome place that is family owned. Drinks were a bit pricey, but the quality was well worth it. Definitely will plan on going for dinner soon.
Great food and even greater service by Melvin Eduardo. I drove from NoHo to agoura hills today to celebrate with my wife a day off and we love this place.......were even thinking to rent a hotel and go at night to dance and to eat. This is a real good place
We celebrated the 2020 Royal Birthday Bash last night. We had guests overflowing, almost to a maximum capacity. The recent reviews about the quality of food and friendly staff is a given. Last night s event was exceptional. It exceeded our service expectations. Management and the whole staff worked efficiently to meet the demands of the crowd and to keep the flow and energy of the party. Impressive. I highly recommend this venue for any occasions!!
Thank you, Antonio Vazquez, General Manager and friendly staff. You guys over delivered
Relatively small but very pleasant. To my taste this is close to peefect.
Bootie - - - Love the music, love the energy... Love the diversity... Its not very often that you can get a that many people in one room from so many different background...
This place rocks the house... The bar staff pours generously and we always come home with a big smile on our face!
Atmosphere is amazing! Service is incredible! Food is delicious! I Absolutely recommend this place!
Nice bar and friendly staff. Diana was great! I'll definitely be back.
I always come getting some food here. I enjoy the quick customer service and well made dishes. They never disappoint.
! Salsa Dancing Review Only. Went once on a Friday and decided to give it another try on a Saturday (I was told it's more fun). The venue itself is very cute; designed with flowers and plants across the ceiling, benches & cozy little booths next to the dance floor. Plenty of parking on the steet, not sure if they have a lot though. Cover is $10. Hie Honestly, I think I'm a bit spoiled with places like The Granada, Lakesiden Stevens Steakhouse and others where there are a lot of dancers and high energy. Plus I prefer only Latin only and there was too much reggaeton & club type music so this ain't the spot for me
Nice atmosphere, food was decent but the free Tequila ... shew, wow.. like gasoline.. I'd pay for the good stuff next time.. Overall, I would return and enjoy another dish..
Just the same old martini bar under a new name. Nothing has changed and probably nothing will...
Four stars because the food was good. Can't wait to try this place on a weekend day when the Spanish music is not so overwhelming. Cool looking place.
Love this place, the food selections will carter to every taste and the service is pretty good too.
Best authentic Mexican food!! Great bar and entertaining venue. Service was top notch!!!! My expectations were far surpassed. I was pleasantly surprised there was dancing. DJ has a great knack for music and appeasing those with dancing shoes . One of my best evenings was at El Mejico last night.
The food is exceptional! Margaritas are smooth and delicious. Great ambiance. Just the perfect combination. My favorite
Definitely if you visit this place eat the tortilla soup, tlayuda, Chile relleno. This place is a must go to. Love the people and the service.
Food was horrible their salsa was horrible. Bloody Mary was horrible Not going there again
My favorite Mexican place in the valley. A newer place, but they get their margaritas right, and their guacamole right, and the burritos are slightly better than any other place in the valley.
I give them 5 stars though because the restaurant is one of the most comfortable places around, whether you're having a family dinner, a large party, solo'ing a neighborhood bar, or going out with co-workers, or enjoying a lunch with friends outside, there is plenty of space here, and so many cool areas to choose from.
Very happy to call this my neighborhood mexican place!
Went to Agoura to do some antique shopping with a friend. We drove by the restaurant while exploring the area. I recalled that I had been to a restaurant in the same location 15 + years ago. We decided to try the restaurant as my friend and I like to try new places. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm ambiance entering the door and that it was a Mexican food restaurant. The warm ambiance continued into the dinning areas. Decorative colors were soft blue green and warm brown woods, not the typical brash orange and yellows of most Mexican restaurants. Fresh chips and three salsas were served. And then we selected two lunch entrees from the lunch menu. Both were outstanding. The lobster rolled into flour tortillas was fresh and lightly covered in two sauces, a red and a creamy white sauce and served with black beans and a light rice, was fresh and rich at the same time.... excellent. The salmon Cesar salad with cilantro Cesar dressing with a hint of vinegar was excellent. The salmon was moist and lightly seasoned. Besides the great food and warm ambiance, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful but not intrusive. The prices on the lunch menu were very very reasonable.
My friend and I left the restaurant knowing that we will be going back... often. And we will definitely tell our friends, family and associates... about Mejico Grill.
Staff was friendly and very helpful with our dietary restrictions. I'm vegan and my wife is vegan and gluten-free and they were able to find good options for us. He also gave us a tour of their facility which is about 6 months old. We can't wait to come back here on Saturday nights to do some Latin dance lessons and bring our friends for a delicious high-end but price reasonable Mexican food!
Great experience from start to finish. Great food, wonderful service, beautiful restaurant...we will be going again!
HIDDEN GEM. If you re in the Thousand Oaks -Agoura - Calabasas area and want Mexican food definitely give this place a visit.
Some of the best Mexican food in all of LA, mixed with good prices and great service. The price-point for quality is unmatched in LA county - it will be worth every penny. They also have a good bar with an amazing selection of Mexican drinks.
Further, the layout is really cool with 3 large rooms and two outdoor areas. Plenty of space making busy times more tolerable. Will return soon!
Nice place to grab some drinks and sit around and chinwag with friends. Slightly upscale/lounge-ish (i.e. pricy drinks), but nothing too pretentious. Seating gets a little scarce as the night rolls on.
Outstanding!! Beautiful space. Great food and ambiance. 5
Great atmosphere, excellent service! Friday and Saturday night life in Agoura Hills. Well worth a visit! I come here often for their happy hours
Was in the area for a conference and decided to try Mejico Grill. So glad we did!! Food was delicious and the service was great! Attentive and friendly! A bit far from where I live but will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
The best mexican food in the area. Friendly staff and great service. The place is very nice and comfy.
Really good Mexican food and drinks. Great selection of tequila. Not your usual Mexican dishes, more like Oaxacan cuisine. Very tasty
Everything very delicious and the delicious daisies !!!!
Our server Tony was excellent and very knowledgable about the menu. Food was so flavoraful and great ambience. I could make this one of my regular favorites!!!
Excellent food at a decent price. The carne asada was the best and like wise the carne asada burrito. I also had a bloody Mary that was above average but I can't wait to go back for one of their watermelon or blackberry margaritas. I would recommend this place for sure.
