Must see when you are in Gauteng or visiting from else where!! Apart from the regular exhibitions, there are a lot to experience and see. Also great food at the restaurant and even a snack bar. Lovely Boutique Hotel on site.

Nice little museum especially for kids. Nearby caves is the better attraction where the fossils were discovered.

You can skip the museum for the most part if you don't have kids in tow. Definitely go to the Sterkfontein Caves

It s must place to visit.it takes whole day to completely go though the place.Its equipped with history and future data to study.

Wonderful experience. To see the hominids and other fossils is an eye-opener. The caves were magnificent. We had a very knowledgeable guide who took us through the caves. You have to be agile to climb through the tunnel in some places, but it's worth the effort.

Just awesome. Worth every penny and more. Go early so you can visit both sites for the 1 price

Good way to see some of Africa's wildlife if you're only here for a short time, and can't afford the time/money to go on a real safari.

I would have given 4 stars (because only a real safari should get 5) but taking off another star because of the conditions some animals are kept in - not all are in big enclosures. For example, the leopard and lynx are in small caged spaces and it seems cruel.

Here are all the facts and proof that evolution took place .....interesting few hours for the whole family . Very educational .
