Kids loved it. The water ride was fun, but I don't like how they teach evolution as fact. For me this place is just a monument to atheism.

I found the way they represent the information and make the exhibition interactive helped to keep the kids attention. It was a nice trip

I was not impressed at all with road driving down here but the place is nevertheless very sophisticated. It has reasonable prices an awesome place for outings with the little ones. Very educational with fascinating information that literally leaves you with goosebumps.

Great day outing. The museum was really interesting and well thought out. The caves are interesting from an historical point of view rather than beautiful.

Was pleasantly surprised. The tour starts with a quick boat ride which was fun. The exhibition and grounds are in very good condition and has something for all ages. They are currently exhibiting 100 life size bronze statues which is a must see.

World class exhibit. One star lost.. Guys please do the maintenance, it's small stuff at present so still easy to fix. Loose posters, peeling paint, minor but too many attractions in ZA loose it at this point. Be different!

You have to experience it, from restaurants, gift shops, a hotel and so much more.

OMG, this place was GREAT!

Beautiful exhibits with tonnes of interesting information.

They even have a boat ride and a Vortex depicting the four elements and the cosmic beginning. (I did the boat ride twice!)

I was told to plan an hour but shared about 2.5 learning LOTS about the Cradle of Humanity.

Honestly, I would consider this a must see!

This place is a trip! It starts with a regular museum experience. It describes how scientists and explorers discovered the bones and fossils that make the Cradle of Humankind so special. Then you take a boat ride around the basement to experience the four elements. Then a vortex (close your eyes if you are inclined to vertigo). Then there are a number of interactive stations walking you through the changes in our world and humankind. You can get a combo pass for this and the Sterkfontein Caves. I recommend them both.

Something that is still run well... people are friendly and very helpfull. Thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience

Interesting places to visit in the area. Close to Johannesburg

Little expensive but enjoyed going down into the Caves and watching the feeding of the animals

Best area for cycle training. Undulating hills, wide, quiet roads with hundreds of cyclists.

Very informative. A lot to learn. Very well maintained. Good for any fsmily to spend the day.

The hiking trail has no escape paths and of you are doing the longer 19 km the last part they are just toying with you by making you go on zigzags
