The centre has recently added a breathtaking sculputre series that you can look at for free. The museum itself is creatively interactive and well-maintained.

It is a family place and so cool to take tour family outdoors

Wonderful experience, so rich in history and knowledge. Some of that history needs to be part of school curriculum.

Very interesting and informative explanation on the origins of man, the displays were especially impressive, kids also loved the interactive exhibitions and water ride. I was impressed at how much information they were able to communicate through the exhibitions to a wide and varied audience.

Visit Mzanzi, this is the beginning of humankind.its located in Maropeng and the views are stunning. The tall highveld grass flows swiftly with a cool brezze wind. The museum is a man-made hill and the top deck restaurant is just a perfect spot to end the tour. If you can enough of it, stay over at the adjecent maropeng boutique hotel. Highly recommended

Very interesting. Great for educational activities. Excellent guides and prepared, however, I would suggest audio guides in different languages for those like me who are not at their best with the English heard.

A little jewel of a place at The Cradle Of Humankind. Booked on line but did not allow pensioners discount, however the discount was allowed at ticket office.

Maropeng museum and the Sterkfontein caves are good outings. The museum is modern and has broad interest and the underground cave tour is special. Note that the two are on different sides and you need to drive from one to the other. Adult ticket for both attractions is R190 per person.

Maropeng Museum is really worth the visit - so interesting and informative about the history of humankind and of our planet

Skylodge (Red) has fabulous views over nature from Magaliesburg to Hartbeespoort dam.

Seriously maybe for the tourist it's a site but really it's very overrated and very over priced. Not for the regular South Africans.The tour the food, drinks and novelties. It's outrageous. Been there done that not even my kids said it was wow. But rather you try it for your self and see.

Great educational adventure all packed in 1,good for adults and extraordinary for the kids.

I enjoyed the caves more :) the cradle was also good but there was too much information and if you werent part of a group you didnt get a guided tour so you had to go in and guide yourself :) too much to read hahah!

Facilities I would give them.12 out of 10.
The staff are exceptional,service orientated and interested.Kenneth the guide was tour guide was brilliant he found out my son was writing An exam on evolution he went out of his way to explain facts.. How's so informed..I was very impressed

Excellent place where the ancient meets the present.very modern built.Also the cuisine is absolutely fantastic and the service is very good.
