The experience was very good especially learning about the different South African tribes, only disappointed that as a Venda there was nothing to show for us and Tsongas

What an interesting outing we had! The boat ride was the best part of it all! History presented excellently!

Place .... interesting. Developing knowledge, interesting interactive tunnel where you can see the history of the earth, the cave is also worth seeing. I would recommend.

Museum showcasing the Hominoid history in Africa, but focus on significant contributions to Antropology in Southern Africa. Great museum, kid friendly.

I really liked it. I thought it was all about commercializing the area, but the was a well done and informative set of exhibits, displays, and interactions.

These are wonderful places. We only had a relatively long afternoon, but I highly recommend planning a full day to see Sterkfontein and Malopoeg (sp). They are both worthy of as much time as you want to devote to them. To stand in a cave where a pre- human fell into three and one- half million years earlier was time well spent.

Its a nice place for knowing about history and also for fun.

I would like to give thanks to Courage Marks on the best tour of the Cradle of humankind. Indeed the 09th of August was a great day.

Every human being must visit this place. Including the cave side.

No wine glasses, no white wine ?????????? Food took too long ....we were 2 people and there was 4 other customers.

Very well set up and informative tour, the centre has a restaurant and a museum containing the fossils found in the area. The cave tour is also quite fun. Cave is well lit and relatively big.

Very informative and well organised. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging.

Good parking, amazing self explanatory notes around the site and generally a beautifully constructed place.

Incredible place. The vortex and the boat ride are coolest.

Strictly for the people who love history, if you are interested to know how Earth was formed and the creatures that lived million of years before us..fossils of early humans etc. Cave tour is good. Tour guide will give you enough information about the place. Homeo naledi!! The scientific name given for species that lived before home sapiens.

While this space is interesting, I feel that it is mostly aimed at international tourists. It's a little pricey for locals to visit for more than just a once-off experience

Visit this place for a day of wonder. I enjoyed going down into a cave just before going to the Cradle of Humankind.

This is a wonderful family outing. Educational and fun. The kids are encouraged to touch and feel and play and simply be... and all of that while they learn.

Highly recommended. Lot's of interesting things to learn about the origins of the human species.

The Visitor Centre is a spectacularly designed building complete with under ground water ride taking deep into the earth crust. It is highly recommend to arrive in time for one the many guided tours. The guides are informative and give so much more detail and history then what can be read from the information sheets.

This is a must-visit to better understand both our history as humans as well as South Africa

I really did not enjoy this. Was a waste of time and not worth the money. Found it boring and too much reading. Rather just go do the Sterkfontein Cave. Facilities are clean and well maintained but just wasn't my cup of tea. Be prepared for a lot of reading....
