Good selection of beers, outside patio has lots of room

Service is terrible!! Expect to wait at the bar for 10-15 minutes while staff laugh and joke in a back room behind the bar. Also do not get the Sangria.. it's really nice but not worth the price, I saw the bartender make it and I was shocked with how little beer and prosecco he put in! Literally a DROP of prosecco and not even a half glass of beer!!

Smells like old beer, terrible service (3 bartenders for the entire bar) and overpriced drinks.

There is a great selection of beer here, but the availability tends to vary depending on the time and day of your visit. I also love the atmosphere and decor of this place. Unfortunately, the service could use some more work. I know the servers are busy, but making a bit of friendly conversation with your customers doesn't hurt anyone.

Great selection of beer. Great ambiance. Friendly service. I ordered moule et frites and it was obvious it had sat under the heat lamp for awhile. Not as good as it should be but they did bring fresh fries. I will be back.

We love the setting...we were however disappointed in the comfort of the seating (every time the man behind me moved, it shook our bench) and we waited an hour for our food...which was ok and the poutine serving was small. Our server Kaylen was great and took care of the issues.

Friendly service, wide selection of foods and beers. Huge party was hard for the server but he did a fantastic job keeping us happy

So much but so much beer from all over the world except Italy there is also wine. The meat is good, nice and slow service but there are tv sports wifi and it is in the most beautiful neighborhood in downtown

Very tasty food, selection of beer flights, and great atmosphere for watching games. I would go here above any of the regular chain restaurants just for the unique vibe and better food/drink selection.

Got my beverage spilt all over me and was interrupted by a screaming homeless person during lunch. Waiter was also very rude and didn t think taking the beverage off my bill after spilling it all over me was cool. Good food, but bad first experience

Such a great time. We had a company function there with clients. No complaints. We all had a fun time. Bartenders and staff were great. Thank you for a great time.

Food quality was not bad but nothing to talk home about. We ordered 2 pounds of chkn wings, 8 beers, glass of wine, duck wings a pound, chicken stritze, a small piece of cakel and it costs us about $300. Hiwr service was left wanting. The waitress would just disappear and we had to wait for a long time just to order something or to get our check. I had to go in search of her. She was very good in noting down who pays for what etc and that was impressive. Didnt have to wait too long for our orders. However when everyone had ordered a third round of beer, she bought one for me too assuming that i also would want one. I was driving so deliberately didnt go for it. Thankfully i was aware and strong enough to send it back. The waitress was not rude or anything. Hwr one of those kind who talks fast and who gives you the feeling that she doesnt have time and that if we give our order she would just like to take it and be on her way. Strong 3 stars guys. Was not happy with the service and mix that with the cost, not happy

Large welcoming bar, good selection of beers and good food.

Great service and crazy nice bar and outdoor area. Love the beer menu and a big bonus that you can order any of the Goose Island beers as well.

Tons of beer selection. I tried their steak and was very impressed with it. Comparable to The Keg, even though they aren't a steakhouse.

This was my first time visiting Bier Market and I was impressed ..Clean and Covid-19 prepared..Food was a 9 staff a 9 would have given it a 10 but the service was just a 9..I would go back with friends again

It was okay, never had enough people to make me stay but a good, lively crowd. Friendly bouncer too.

Went to celebrate a birthday and server could not remember any order from our party of eight. Had to ask for everything twice. Sat us at a table with broken chairs and spilled a beer all over one of our guests. Food was mediocre at best. Only good part of the night was the Marc Joseph band. Really enjoyed the music.

Fish and chips were meh, I would have thought there would have been a beer batter.

It was average. Other Bier Markt locations are preferred.

Waited 20 minutes to make a drink order. Waited 45 minutes to be asked for our food order, at which point we'd lost any confidence in the staff and just wanted our bill so we could get out of there. All the while, we watched at least three employees idle around behind the bar directly opposite us. This place may well have an impressive selection of booze; good luck trying to get someone to serve it to you. Oh, and our bill was wrong, so make sure you double check before you pay.

Shawntae is the best server in the entire world. She brings out door out on time but more important she made our trip memorable. It s a great place to be.

Decent food, a little pricey and the service we received was only ok. Seems like an after work spot for people in their 30s and up. The beer was incredible though!

Servers does't even care about you. It took 50 mins to find a server after being seated.Food is not good at all either.

Surprisingly good, all things considered. The food was passable (edamame was weird though) and the beer selection is great. The place is massive overall though and kind of oddly laid out, and it will never really be anything better than a fancy sports bar with some extra features.

Very poor service. Actually no service. Been here 4 times and will be the last. Same no service every time. Coincidence I don t think so. Oh very nice seating area and food which is why I go but if you can t get served why go back. It s not like it s busy. Just left and sitting at Scotland Yard and served right away and constant good service.

The food was good, but service was a bit lacking. Food took about 25 minutes to reach us!

6 adults 4 kids dinner at 530pm. Not crowded. 2 adults received their meal after everyone else had almost finished their dinners. This was after we flagged down the waitress to inquire. She never came by to ask if everyone had their food or if everything was alright. The last order came out cold ! When you pay $9 for a side of poutine and the curds wont even melt. The meal itself was mediocre. 6 adults not one was impressed by the food or raved about the taste. Dissapointing..

Meh . The beer selection was amazing, but the food was below average. Even a simple pasta dish was not done properly.

I been here few years back and it used to be good food and completely packed on Saturdays. But unfortunately the food wasn't great and the was fly sitting on the food. I have shared the video. Hopefully there is hygiene maintained in the kitchen.

Very disappointed, went with a group of 7 and just got the worst service. Actually no service, the place wasn't busy, but nobody including our server cared. We barlyngot one drink each, would liked to have more but nobody ever came back to take our order, food was blah, chicken on the salad was stone cold witch makes me believe it comes in pre cooked ... the fried Brussels sprouts where overdone and way way to salty, the salmon over cooked. I would stay away as drinks, food and service is underwhelming there Is no point of giving it another try with so many great options just around the corner....... sorry

Usually a very good place but bar attender tries to rip u off first, then ignore you and finally ban you when you try to complain they refuses to serve you. Its like an anarchy...I wish they had a manager on duity that I could talk to! ...

I love the menu at bier markt. Always delicious. This location is older and slighthly dated, would need a decor refresh.

We ordered the pesto chicken pizza. The chicken on the pizza was not seasoned/ part of the recipe at all. It was incredibly dry and added on to the mix at the very end. Our server also changed about three times and they checked on us very infrequently.

Comfortable chairs, great atmosphere, great acoustics.

Service was extremely slow and took 40mins to get half of the table's drinks for a corporate lunch. The food was delightful, but I wouldn't come back with a large group for lunch.

Wow great place! Attaches with goose island brewery and has a lot of space for larger groups. I went there on Saturday and the live band was great. Service was great, never had an issue getting a brew.

We had never been to this restaraunt before and didn't really know what to expect. We loved the food, however what stood out was their creative beverages, my wife isn't much of a beer drinker and she couldn't get enough. We tried a veriaty of different drinks and all were fantastic. The service was great, give them a try on your next dinner date.

We held our Holiday party at Bier Markt last week, and everything was incredible. We could not have asked for better food and service. Special thanks to Cayleigh and Jack for taking such good care of the Eddy team!

Went there for a corporate function, disappointing food, ran out many items for drinks (egg whites, amaretto etc..) staff were grumpy especially the bar staff acting lwith one guy acting like every drink was a hassle to get and very moody.. Very disappointed overall. Not sure if I would go again after this experience.

Great food at the Bier Market. The schnitzel is always good.

Went to pub next door couldn't get service. So left and went here. Great service good live music glad we made the switch staff was good and helpful.

Great beer selection (hundreds). The portion sizes are tremendous (weiner schnitzel almost covered the plate and I couldn't open my mouth wide enough to bite into the burger). Very tasty. Service also very good.

1. Nice ambience - They have a life size screen for sports. 2. They have live music here! The front tables turn are moved to create a dance floor as the night progresses. 3. Friendly staff. 4. Good food and drinks. Came here to attend a friends birthday. Overall a good experience.

Enjoyed the atmosphere of this place. A busy place but you can still have a conversation without having to yell. Nice selection of flights and the salmon was really good. My partner had the steak and it appeared to be cooked perfectly.

This is a very large location, the staff is nice, and the service is prompt. What I will never understand about bier markt is the lack of Canadian Craft beers. It's a sad state of affairs. When you look at the success possible with rotating craft taps (think WVRST) I don't understand the commitment to large labels. Additionally, I don't understand why they don't have better selection for trending styles. 2018 has been the year of sour beers and their selection is paltry, for a place specializing in beer. 2016 and 2017 were the years of juicy east coast style IPA, but Bier Markt doesn't have their finger on the pulse of the beer community. It seems like they could vastly improve simply by reconsidering their beer menu.

Great staff. I've been in a few times by myself and they always chat to me and make me feel welcome. The beer selection is great and the meal I had was awesome too. Props to Tina and Sofia for looking after me!

It's been renovated which is okay, but the service is slower than I remembered. Room for improvement

Seemed like every server was new. Nobody knew what they were doing. Got served by at least 4 different servers. Food was good though.

Chill set up. Went here for a work function, and it was large enough to support a group of over 100 people. They served a tapas type of meal that was good
