A superb hotel with 5 stars service and 5 stars location. High in the hills of Udaipur, it is a gem of a beautiful hotel. The hotel is spread well over 20 acres and they have a fleet of cabs to ferry you everywhere within the complex. I loved the peaceful atmosphere and the rooms have wonderful views to get up to in the morning. Highly recommended.

Its awesome resort to stay and very beautiful made on mountains with everything available with full time complete staff amf facility. Awesome place to stay and enjoy volleyball courts basketball courts swimming all available.5 star rooms.Very nice play to stay

The Place was good but food and service are not proper

Very serene, calm, in bed of nature. Exotic location for family, couple and frnz. Awesome service and hygiene.

But there is a complain, the food needs very high level of improvement. The breakfast is best but lunch and dinner is worst means worst

It's outside the Udaipur and located in the hills.the room and architecture is too beautiful with good service.

Nice and spacious resort with ample rooms for a good destination function.

The way the property is built is just amazing. The rooms are very spacious and give a scenic view of the hills present around the hotel. The bathrooms also have an open bath area which gives an additional point to the rating. I would have given a 4 star or also 5 star if it was just about the property the view and infrastructure.
3 is because of the poor service, the bad attitude of multiple receptionists. We visited at a time when the hotel was also hosting a wedding and i guess that is the reason why all of the staff was busy catering the people in the wedding.
Even to get a dish and spoons we had to wait for 45 minutes.
Our problems started with getting the room late, we had two rooms booked in advanced and we checked in at around 1430 hours,we got one room right at the time and we were told to wait for 5- 10 mins for the second room. But we got the key to that room after a long wait of more than 1 hour.
Secondly, We had request for a queen or a king bed we got a twin bed in one of the rooms. After complaining about it they told us that they would make the beds again so it would feel like a normal bed without any gaps but that took from 4:00 pm to 9:30pm to get the bed made.

These were the problems but what made the problems worse was the care less attitude of the people who were managing the staff and everything else. They would not respond properly on the intercom they would not accept there mistakes and they would do nothing about anything.

Keeping these things aside the view from the top was amazing, the food was nice and the walks in the naturistic pathways were pleasant.

Recommended hotel during off season.

The property is nicely built, however, there are some BIG concerns.

It's a wedding/conference destination, and thus, there is no feeling of a holiday. You are like attending a large wedding/conference, where everything is very crowded. Above all, the Gentry is very bad, with gutka-eating men oggling at every other female, and spitting in dustbins.

While we were there, there was a conference going on, when men from villages wearing "angochas" were strolling the property in large numbers.

So, take your pic. The hotel is built nicely, but just attracts the wrong kind of crowd.

Unique and unusual hotel. Built as a village. Taxis take the occupants to the hotel. A bit far from downtown but worth it

Awesome weekend get away. Travelled from Jaipur to Udaipur over the weekend to spend couple of days at the resort. Very nicely maintained, built on and around the hill with beautiful row houses. Lush green gardens, greenery everywhere, cleanliness, courteous staff, super silent and peaceful. Loved the stay here. Food and service is also good. Had Chinese in the lunch which was delicious and served well. Cars are parked near the reception area and there are resort owned cabs which pick and drop you from your villa which helps curbing out unnecessary noise and vehicles around you. Highly recommended for people looking for a relaxed weekend.

Rooms were good but the quality of bathroom items were not at par with the requirements, soap and shampoo quality were substandard.

The location of Ananta, Udaipur is awesome. Cottages spread across hills at varying heights. Rooms are very big and of superior quality.Good views of Aravalli mountains from almost all rooms. The services are up to the mark. I didn't find any major loopholes. Overall, a nice experience to stay here. Definitely recommended!

Great hotel in a nature setting. Staff is very friendly...food is very tasty both the Indian as the international. Wide choice in breakfast buffet. Wonderful pool. A great stay !

A great place for a destination wedding ! The weather is really soothing and the ambience of the place makes it no less than a vacation get away.

Best place to vacation in udaipur... If you can afford it that is... Sprawling five star resort built on the hillside outside udaipur city... You will need your own transportation or seek cabs from the hotel... Luxurious swimming pool... And an outdoor tub in each room... Wonderful ambience especially with ambient lighting at night.... They have cabs running to and fro from the hotel lobby, restaurant and party areas (all co-located) to the rooms and elderly folks might prefer the cabs to wakking... Beautiful resort in short... Great food

The towels had a peculiar smell, room service is quiet slow, the bathroom dint have hot water most of the times.

Weekend break at Ananta Udaipur has been painful.There is wedding in the resort and its super noisy.No one bothers to understand problem of other guest.Not worth visit

The resort is situated in a top class location.Gives you a great experience and has a essence of nature in it.The cab services are the only problem ,they place has a vast area and arnd 220 rooms yet the no of cabs are quite few so the cabs take quite a while to come ,we almost have to call 2 or 3 times for the cabs.I would request the management to look forward to this.The room service is also not up to the mark ,even when I pulled out the room service tag my room wasn t clean.My car was damaged in the parking.I would say all over it s a beautiful place but the management need really work to do on things.

One of the most amazing Resort you can find at a budget value. Amazing landscaping of cottages build right in the middle of the mountains. Good food and great service with amenities like Spa, pool, Game zone and lot more

Classic luxury resort. A must visit to relax from your busy life

The property, ambience, experience is amazing.. but the service needs to be improved with respect to a 5 star.
We stayed at presidential suite which doesn't have a door bell. Staff would walk in directly hampering privacy .
We had to beg and wait for atleast 45 mins asking for whiskey glasses.
Breakfast buffet is removed as the clock strikes 10 30. The person having the breakfast only cannot order any other item.
I would suggest them to be a bit more concerned about their customers
