Anant is undoubtedly amongst the best properties in Udaipur. It is probably the biggest one. It is widely spread over the hills of Udaipur and amidst all the greenery. Luxury yet simplicity. A weekend here is all you need to be refreshed and recharged.
It is what it is because they do care for their customers. Service is outstanding. Food is dely and of the best quality. You can book your stay here without a second thought.

Positives:
The view from the rooms is great, especially during the sunrise. The resort itself is very well maintained. They make your rooms a couple of times at least in a day. The house keeping is prompt. The breakfast was really good.
Negatives:
The Ananta is located at the outskirts of Udaipur. The roads leading to the resort are not well maintained which makes it difficult to access.
The biggest chaos happens when everyone is checking out at 11am as they dont allow our own vehicles in the premises and around 3.30pm when all the cars go for fueling at the same time. These might keep the guests waiting for quite some time.
They don't treat bikers well. They do not have a way to deal with people going there on bikes. You don't get a valet to park your bike even when its 10pm. They send you towards staff parking. In the morning when you want your vehicle back they take some 15/20 minutes for a task that should ideally take 5 minutes. I.e. from your room to your vehicle it takes some 30 minutes at least. It wastes an hour of your time while checking in and checking out. Security personnel do not have a clue about where(which parking) to send you.
The blanket in #624 was a little damp, smelling a little.
The dimensions of the room were 22ft x 14ft which is around 300 sq ft which is way smaller than what was mentioned "630 sq ft" on make my trip.
We did confirm with the Duty Manager about early check-in to which he agreed and then when we reached there we they kept us waiting around an hour.
While checking out (at 11am) we called the reception a few times but nobody answered, which is something I haven't experienced at any other hotel. There has to be someone answering the calls during day times at least.
Found a few bugs in the room, which might be because of the location.
During our stay there was loud music being played till 12am, which made it difficult to sleep.

Good but difficult to find our rooms. We have to wait and take hotel cars only.

Good place but they have to improve service part. Spa is great

The hotel is overall nice but the service sometime can be late. Apart from that I had a great experience.

Best luxury stay. But this time i found some issues with my visit. Arrogant swimming pool staff and bad room AC. Food is the best as always.

Worst food ever in my life, forget booking this place, better option available

A hideout for honey mooners in Udaipur. Away from the city with individual cottages. So no common aisle etc for privacy. But the facilities require transport for moving around

Great resort to visit...It is huge resort where there are over 250 cottages....It has a club and a spa....If you want to go somewhere in the resort you need to call a cab...It has 10-15 cabs and 5 travellers....It has a great swimming pool...The food is very nice here...

Nice resort with lots of amenities and pleasant views from Balcony.
One thing I dislike that staff is not attentive. You have to keep remind them that I am waiting for your attention.
Best thing there is small shop near restaurant for local arts and nail art.
Owner is Lokesh and he has excellent skills very satisfied with his service.
