Photos doesn't does the justice for this hotel. One of the best hut hotels to stay in. Awesome location & ambience. Good food & staaf.

Dont ever make your stay especially with family. Its actually a self service resort. Evrytime you have to wait for cab for movement from one point to another. Undoubtedly you will waste your 2 hrs a day in that only.
The room service people have very powerful urge to argue on the fact wether you have water bottle in your room or not.
If you talk about breakfast in banquet you will definitely enjoy with abrupt comments from the staff.
Above all Spa staff members say that they will cancel the booking irrespective of the fact that cab is not there to drop you.
In short they have sympathise on us for staying. The resort has indeed done a great favour on us for allowing us to stay with them even after charging with us.

Amazing & beautifully designed Resort.. A very peaceful place with great views as it is located about 10 kms from Udaipur City.. Rooms are sufficiently big with spacious bathroom and balcony and also well maintained.. Anyone looking for a luxurious and peaceful holiday, this is the resort!!!
Room service and restaurant service was not up to the mark at times... Food options in breakfast and dinner were plenty but not all the items match my taste.. I have had much better food in other resorts.. Still, it was reasonably good and we could satisfactorily fill our stomachs..
Overall, a must visit place.. Beauty of the resort can make u forget the little drawbacks of service and food.

We requested a room on top floor with a nice view and reception staff helped us with that instantly.
Abdul is really helpful. Helped us for finding a driver outside the resort services. It wasn t a part of his job, still he was kind enough to help us.

Oasis is quite expensive when compared with food quantity.

This 1 star is only for the property and ambience. Else I'll give 0 to the service, staff behavior and their policies. Their behavior is very rude, their driver drives recklessly, service is very slow (it takes 1 hr minimum to deliver it to room) if they don't have proper arrangements than why they are having rooms at so much distance from the reception or restro. They avoid helping their guest.

Ananta Udaipur is one of the most amazing resort with landscaping of cottages build right in middle of the mountain .Foods, facilities, nature, services, staffs all are awesome. Huge resort with great breakfast, fresh ingredients, cooked on the moment for you. The resort is spread well over 90 acres and they have a fleet of cabs to ferry you everywhere within the complex.I would really recommend it gives a full lavish experience.

Excellent location. Alas awful experience.Reservation done a month ago mentioning 2 deluxe rooms adjacent required.2 follow ups done prior to the visit but on reaching the front office say due to marriage booking not possible. On being firm they gave the adjacent rooms. Mutton ordered one night which was par cooked refused the same and instructed them to take back which they agreed.At the time of check out the food rates included the dish taken back.On questioning they said that they cannot deduct the bill but they asked us to eat whatever for that amount at 10 30 am. This shows the lack of hospitality in the service as well as inadequate training of the staff. We were aghast at what was being suggested and informed them the same will be shared among our friends about our experience. Suddenly while we were getting in to our vehicle the manager gets the chef to us who apologises for the mutton served. This totally shows the unprofessim of the staff. To all those who are visiting Anantha do scrutinise your bills also be firm if your requests are not met.

This is an awesome place to stay. The rooms are individual cottages in pairs that are spread around. The location is up very high, giving you beautiful scenic views. Even though, the resort has their own free chauffeur service within this large resort, We enjoyed just walking down the steps through the hilly resort to go for breakfast. The number of menu items for free breakfast & free dinner will blow your mind. It is just too good. The wall staff is very friendly & courteous, and the dishes, & food choices are delicious. Rooms are also very nicely maintained. They have lots of activities within the resort which we did not have time for due to sight seeing.

The Ananta has all the makings of a quiet yet beautiful get away. In the midst of the Arravallis its a hub for destination weddings and cool weekends. It has beautiful surroundings which are a treat to the city eyes. A must visit.

Very nice place.....In the middle of aravali hills.....Rooms and villas are awesome .........It's services generates full value for money........Must visit for relaxing in peace environment...........

Awesome Place, Truly a Rajasthani Decor with a touch of grace & Luxury

I'll edit this after my stay is over.

So far so good. The room is extremely spacious and very well maintained. The view from the balcony is stunning. Food is alright. Indoor amenities are closed due to Corona scene, rightly so.
Wi-Fi is not so good, they said they are trying to figure it out.
I hope they change breakfast and dinner from banquet to an open space in covid times especially.

Service - Pathetic
I wouldn't even say bad, I would say - Pathetic.
Going by the customer service they give, I wouldn't recommend booking this resort.

I had called the resort for booking of rooms. The lady who picked up my call was rude and she told me that she will transfer the call to someone else for booking and then no one picked up and the call got disconnected.
I called the second time and the same lady picked up the call and when I told her that no one picked up the call in the first time, her reply was epic
She said (again in a rude tone) that the person is busy with something, call after some time and the phone was disconnected from her end again.

She could have atleast asked for my number or email I'd and requested a call back.

If this is the service they provide to their potential customers then I wonder how would they behave once I pay the money.

It is an amazing place to stay. The rooms are amazing. The food is delicious. Its made in tune with nature which is the best part about it. The staff is very helpful and courteous.

Worth visiting property.
Commendable hospitality. Highly appreciate the way in which customers are treated.

Possibly my worst experience at a so called five star resort. Will summarize it in points
1. The check in: Took about 45 minutes during which no one bothered to offer a glass of water or welcome drink in the lounge.
2. Reached the room to find that the mini fridge in the room was not working. Upon complaint, the electrician told us that it can best keep the water at room temperature ( whats the need for a fridge then). Kept struggling for a glass of cold water till the night.
3. Were afraid of our baby's milk getting sour with the fridge not working, so we asked if the bottle could be kept in the kitchen's fridge which was refused. So we tried to keep it cool in ice box till the night. Thereafter, after I lost my patience with the scheme of things, they accepted to keep baby's milk in their own fridge and sent a big ice box to compensate for the fridge. But it was too little too late.
4. Everything in the resort is so far away that you have to call in house cabs for everything (for going to pool/ restaurant/ bar or virtually anything). And the cabs never turned up before an hour in our experience. So basically half the time during our stay was spent waiting for a cab. There is no use of a good resort if u have to struggle to enjoy it or explore it.
5. Fed up with the cabs and waiting, when we decided to order room service, it was way costlier than the menu being served at other place (eg by the pool).
6. Everyplace, be it pool or the breakfast, was so crowded that one got the feeling it was all on the house. Virtually defeats the purpose of going to a resort.
7. Check out: Took 3 calls and more than an hour of waiting just to get the cab to get us to front office, which again took about 45 minutes with the formalities.

Food is not for the spice lover...but the best thing about ananta's food is it's DESSERT

If you want to stay at ananta please make sure you stay for minimum of 3 night's to take advantage of property.

Lunch & dinner is a bit costly...so make sure to include it in your package.

Service is very good...staff is cooperative

Lavish very good property..... excellent privacy and huge rooms

The place is spectacular, with great views. You can also see the monsoon palace of udaipur from here.

The place has a quiet charm, and is well maintained. Also being a bit expensive, the kind of people you will come across, maintain the place in a neat ordinal.

It is a huge 75 acre property and need a minimum of 2 nights stay, to explore. It is not for people for quick trips

Udaipur is about palacaes , this property is about the old forests , the arravali, the quiet vibe , lovely service , promt service amdost of all reall really good food
