If I could rate this, I wouldn't even give it a star. This is the absolute WORST company I've ever dealt with. Customer service sucks. You have to stay on the line for at least 15 minutes just to talk to someone. I had instances where I was on the phone for 45 minutes and they hung up on me. Their payment system declines payments using debt/credit cards when obviously you have the money to make your payment. All time worst!!!!!!!! Company. Will never in my life use them again. EVER!!!!

Auto financed through TD was totaled and loan paid...

Auto financed through TD was totaled and loan paid in full on 2/22. Reimbursement for extended warranty was made to TD on 3/1 which resulted in a $2,000 credit due to me. Despite numerous calls and promises of reimbursement I still do not have the money. After escalating on my most recent call, I was advised on 4/16 check was to be overnighted. When not received by 4/19 I called again only to find out check was not sent until 4/18 after 7pm and is not expected until 4/22.
An absolute disgrace to have to chase a major financial institution for money owed to me. Will NEVER use TD again for anything.

Undoubtedly one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. Extremely unprofessional, no sense of urgency, terrible customer service. I'm not sure how companies like this stay in business, nobody seems to know what's going on and nobody seems to be accountable for their mistakes. Read the reviews, you've been warned.

DO NOT EVEN BOTHER! This company is the least customer friendly company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I was in the process of relocating for my job and needed some documentation to ship my vehicle across the country. You'd think they just require a copy of my authorization to move, right? NO!!! They needed all this extra information and now I have to reschedule my shipping appointment, yet again, because they need so much unnecessary, extra, information!

Once, don't even bother!

Be aware after almost five years on auto pay they will remove the last payment from auto pay and then when you realize they did because you found out they reported a negative review they will be happy that they ve ruined you re impecable credit.

T D Financial customer service simply does not exist. I have been given bad information when requesting auto loan payoff amounts for clients. It is not uncommon to be on hold 15-30 minutes for a customer service rep. A one star rating is more than generous!

This company has wasted too many hours of my life calling their fraud department, resolution center, and normal working office. I have seen the reviews posted, but this company still has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau! If you are reading this and have gotten no resolution through TD Auto, contact the BBB and bring this companies rating to where it should be. This company is garbage, and I have nothing to do with them I am filing a complaint for multiple fraudulent claim charges, and no one is helping me. Save yourself some time and file a complaint with the BBB.

I had a great experience, I'm a soldier and they were very helpful with my transition. I had no problems get a hold of someone, maybe because I wasn't already PO'd i had better luck then those other people. I don't know i went to my credit union and everyone waits half an hour to talk to some one in lending and no one cry's.. We have a country of snowflakes i guess that scream if they don't get their way fast enough. like i said the service was just as expected and very kind.

I will NEVER get a loan from them again. They just don't get what customer service is about not do they care whether they get return business.

one of the most popular banks and they dont have their ducks in a row. Have ppls lives affected and unable to help people because of their incompetency. Love to take money from people but dont help them out in emergencies cause they were unprepared to answer their own customer base. Waited on the phone for 3 hours every other day at 7 30am and no answerr or phone call drops.

Be careful of your last loan payment. In our case, after 59 prompt payments, the last payment was switched to pay by check from auto. withdraw. It was unknown to us. We paid the last payment promptly. However TD Auto Finance reported a late payment, resulting in 40 points drop in our credit score.

Incredibly slow or no response. They missed mailing my monthly invoice and I finally had to contact the car dealer for help getting my account number. I have asked in writing twice for an account statement and summary and have yet to receive ANY answer. I have called the 800 number three times in the last week and have spent over an hour waiting for them to get anyone on the line.
I will never use them again nor recommend the service. Borrow your money from another source or walk. It would be a better deal for anyone.

Unbelievably frustrating. I simply tried to notify TD of my change of address. Called three times and after 20 minutes or longer, never got a person. Quit trying and went to the web site. As instructed, I put my new address in, then a message kept coming up in red to the effect that I "must put an address in"! I don't know what they're doing up in Michigan, but it sure isn't bothering about their customers. I strongly recommend that, if contemplating dealing with this tacky outfit, a potential customer run as fast as possible toward "NO!"

Like many others, I experienced a 50 point drop to my credit score due to their shotty payment system, despite having paid. Customer service simply doesn t exist, you call they will elevate to a supervisor who then apparently does nothing to update the account and thus the cycle continues. I ve called 15-20 times in the last two months. I truly wish I never had a loan through such a disorganized mess, I had excellent credit go to fair by no fault other than by TD AUTO.

I owed 784.90 left on a 23,000 loan they Charged off my Credit report over petty stuff ...This tells me and I am sure it tells you the Consumer they will destroy you over $1.00 Customer Service Slow to respond. They are not worth your time and money to try to get a loan.

I have never had a long hold time or any trouble with this company not really sure why there are so many complaints but I certainly don't have any :-) if you're looking for a good rate on a good loan this bank is certainly a place to try

Bought a vehicle out of state, financed through this group. My first payment states no balance online, second payment was 1/2 and paid leaving balance of $0. Actually received statement with 0 balance. third statement states past due amount of $1588. They have/are trying to ruin my credit rating, have charged late fees, and are harrassing with phone calls.
They have NO concern for customers. Must hate their lives.

I usually dont leave negative reviews but imma take time out my day to leave one here. By Far the worst finance company on the planet. I went car shopping and my car sales man told me wells fargo had financed me.... cool...come to find out the loan was sold to good ole TD Auto Finance.....if I had known this I would've walked or rode my bike instead of financed a car through them. They basically have non existent customer service. There is not a number u can call to reach a live person; which my credit union required for me to refinance. So I waited till my first payment was due and became late and they began calling me. I informed them that I was trying to refinance and I just needed to speak to a live person and the live person on the phone repeatedly gave me the automated phone number. They REFUSED to give me the information I needed to get my vehicle refinanced. Nevertheless I got the information and informed the next person that called me that my credit union had fedexed them a check with a tracking number and TD Auto Finance proceeded to call my phone and my job 26 times over the next 2 days ....like what kind of company does this?...if i could leave less that 1 star i would. If u ever see this finance company RUN

I have two car loans with TD and I have to say they are possibly the worst auto finance company I have ever dealt with, PERIOD!! We sent a payoff for one of our vehicles in the amount of $39K which was sent certified mail and TD lost it! That's right. We had proof it was received by them but they argued with us that they never saw it. We finally spoke with someone who said it was just sitting in a pile of mail. They were going to speak with management about recording the payment and call me back, but they never did. Now I'm speaking with my attorney and and the Better Business Bureau! No one in their loan department would give me their corporate office telephone number. We found it online. Avoid these guys like the plague!!

Horrible company period !!!! Took extreme advantage ,my Aunt passed and her car was financed through this company and I was in communication with them as the car was in her trust so they came & took the car saying she passed so the contract is void,they were told it's was going to be paided off,the car was only a year old and had ALOT of equity in it and not a week after they repoed it ,it was at an auction yard. But I WON after a month & everything was stolen out of it and was returned damaged. Thank god for the dealership for fixing at no cost and will not continue to us this company with their customers.

One of the worst companies! For 2 years trying to set up autopayments and can't do it for some reason. It has to be this and that and only on full moon Friday!!! I strongly believe they just want you to be late to colect late payments or reposess your vehicle as they've done to me last month! It's my due day today and my log in user name or password doesn't work for some reason and I can't reset it because they can't match my SSN with one on file!!! Customer service is closed so I'm screewed again...

the bill never showed up there fault or the mail dont know dont care. what i do care about is i call to make a payment and the automated system tell me to hang up and call another number. call that one and sit on hold for 40 minutes waiting and then the system disconects me. calll back the next day during busness hours sit on hold my whole hour lunch call back today sat on hold a hour if this is coustomer service they need to learn a few things even the dmv is faster. 1 star only couse i cant give less

Terrible customer service. By far the worst bank/auto loan company I have dealt with. I paid off a vehicle waited 5 weeks for the title and never received it. After spending a half hour on the phone with TD auto finance come to find out they sent it to the wrong address 2 different times. After asking to speak to a supervisor because the first lady was just interrupting and not listening to a word I said the supervisor informed me that the they released the lien and there is nothing they can do and I had to call California DMV to get a new title. I spent over an hour on the phone with the DMV had to pay for a duplicate title that TD auto finance would not reimburse me for all because TD auto finance sent it to the wrong address not 1 time but 2 times and didn't want to help me with anything. What a terrible experience with the company and the representatives of the company.

I am on my 4 phone number trying to get an address. The 1st call I was on hold for over 6 minutes when I was hung up on. The next 2 calls I sat on hold for 15 to 20 minutes, no one picked up. I am now on hold on my 4th call and it is 7 minutes and counting. Terrible service.

Refusing to send me lien release because it is 60 days past the payoff date. they can't... won't go back any further than that because they have "too many customers" That shouldn't be an issue for long with policies like this, you want me to pay a company $23 to get the payoff lien from TD Auto, so you will give it to My Title Support if I pay them, but not your actual customer. How nice of you. I will not finance through TD again.

This pack of swine, are just that, swine. Here is why: when I attempted to increase my loan payments to pay down more of the principle -- I was told that it was impossible to do this, even though my loan contract said that I could. Recently, I negotiated a loan for a new used car -- in the process, TD Auto Finance lied to the credit bureaus, and claimed that I never made my payments on time and only would pay when forced to by Collections -- which totally screwed me. This was a blatant lie, my documentation from my branch (TD-Canada Trust) proves this. At present TD Auto Finance owes me over $1,600 CAD that they refuse to pay (they did offer a $100 CAD gift card to forget this -- I refused). So, DO NOT do business with this auto finance company; they believe that they (TD Auto Finance) are not bound to the conditions of the contract you sign with them (that their following the terms of the contract is an option or guideline for them) and that only you are bound to the terms of the contract. Stay away from these bastards...

I'm over 60 years old .I have never had worst serves ever,from waiting over 1 hour to answer the phone ,to not crediting me with correct amounts.When I threatening them that I would go back, and check all my payments that I was making in advance ,at that point ,I received the next statement with 2 payments credited finally.They didn't like the fact that I was making payments ,for my daughter 's car in advance .They capt telling me that I didn't need to make payment .I just paid the car off, because I couldn't stand this company.

Bought a new vehicle from a Ram dealership. They continue to bill me for the vehicle i do not own. Vehicle is paid off and they even admit this openly over numerous calls. It takes 30+ days to receive refunds. I have a 831 fico score and expected much better service than this from a finance group catering to people with good credit. Do not finance a vehicle with them. You will regret it come your next. Good rates though.

I have an amazing interest rate on my car through TD but today I was ready to take my loan to anywhere else I didn't care if they tripled the interest, I just never wanted to deal with them again. I had been on hold for a combined time of 2 hours 22 minutes and been hung up on twice. Then I was connected to April Whittington and not only she correct the issues the other people had created but she made my whole day better! TD needs more customer service reps like April!!!

Lady ask me my info I give it to her she put me on hold for 16 minutes to "find out where the title is" picks up back up (I CAN HEAR HER BREATHING!!) then hangs up the phone!! I called again and again waiting on the phone 20 minutes each time and still don't have any answers! WHERES MY TITLE? I've paid my car off! You got your money! Don't don't don't go through them!!! Unless you want to never get answers and never get things you e paid for! Also have been in contact with the BBB.

I financed my daughter's car with them 5/31/2013. I was making regular payments with them when I went to a auto-debit. They didn't process the auto payment in time and never notified me that the payment was over 30 days, for THE LAST 2 YEARS. I never received one notice by mail that I was late. This company is a scam and is all about charging late fees. I would never recommend this company to anyone

Do not do a car loan with this company. I paid my auto loan for 5 years via auto pay and on the final payment they removed the auto pay causing me to go 30 days late after a perfect payment history. When I called them to complain they said "it was listed in the fine print". This ruined my 800 credit score and they were less than helpful when I called to complain

Paid my car off, they closed the account the next day. They had proof of my money and still wouldn't get me a lien release for the people that bought my car for 10-14 business days. HORRIBLE COMPANY ~ DO NOT USE horrible and extremely rude customer service- UPDATE: TOOK OVER 18 days to get a lien release. I ended up having to take out a loan to pay the people back for the car because they no longer wanted it. Can't blame them.

I called before 1 Oct 2019 saying I wanted to make my very first payment and other payments in the future before their due date and if it's on auto pay, will it take it out a 2nd time. Both the person who answered the phone and the supervisor said it would NOT come out a 2nd time in one month but guess what, the took it out twice making my checking account and at least two other things bounce. I'll be refinancing my truck asap! What liars and or untrained personnel!

TD stands for "Toronto Dominion", as in Toronto, CANADA. This is important to note because CANADIAN COMPANIES are known for being EXCEEDINGLY PETTY and TD Auto Finance meets this expectation exactly. I went through them for my car loan some two years ago. I made payments on time each month for the entire period. I recently traded the car (for something less expensive) and TD Auto Finance will STILL take the payment from my bank account, even though a dealer check is en-route. They will hold my payment for a full 21 days AFTER the loan has already been paid off, to "make sure" the dealer's check is good. This is textbook loan sharking! Also worth noting is that this company is in the technological STONE AGE. They insist on sending you 'faxes', can't email you a payoff quote (PDF) and whatever docs they can send you digitally have to go through their archaic "website" which incidentally takes TWO DAYS lol Considering they are located in MI, it would arguably be faster if they just mailed the damn thing! Suffice to say I won't ever deal with TD again or ANY of their subsidiary companies and I don't recommend you do either. If you're credit is good enough for TD, you have your pick of US lenders that will actually work with you and APPRECIATE your business.

Had an order through Samsung and was approved for 1200. The total order was 1272.36. Spoke with a rep and explained that I can make the 72.36 payment if they would just sent my account through. They absolutely would not take a 72.36 payment because that would warrant a line of credit increase. Zero customer service here but God forbid I miss a payment. They A+holes would have a collection agency on my back side in no time. I went against my better judgment after a few reviews and now I regret the time I wasted..

Absolutely the worst customer service experience of my life. 4 months in a row I've had to call multiple time due to over 90 minutes of wait time per call with same excuse of a new phone system. It doesn't take 4 months to update a phone system and the lady was rude and didn't speak very good english. It's very telling when the same lady has answered the phone 3 months in a row. Just horrible for a billion dollar company to have such poor customer service and so few operators.

Was told my over payment would take ip to 21 days to receive after my truck was paid off. Called back after this point to be told it may take up yo 30 days now. These reps can t get their stories correct and in the meanwhile they are withholding a little over 700.00 from me and have provided nothing but empty promises. This company is a joke!!! These people are ruthless... They will call you at...

These people are ruthless... They will call you at all hours and days of the week. They call from 2 different numbers and they never keep what you said on record.... Also they are the most difficult company to get ahold of when you are trying to pay your bills making you wait for 15-30+ minutes to speak with someone and they wonder why you pay it late.
