TGI FRIDAYS, DFW AIRPORT Review

TGIF does not list a veggie plate, but the waiter I had accommodated my request and the sides were delicious. The female waitress that directed me to seating however was rude! Is it because I am a single female traveler??? Doesn t Dallas have female professionals? I get great service in DC.

It would be nice if a signature item like Jack Danials Ribs were kept in stock.

My mother and I were traveling through Dallas Fort Worth Airport on 5/2, and stopped by TGI Fridays for a quick bite before our flight. Our server, Kimberly D., was THE BEST! We were worried about whether we had enough time to have a sit-down meal before our flight, and Kimberly D. took very good care of us. After we were seated, she offered us menus and made recommendations. She took our order right away but without making us feel rushed, and brought us our food and drink as soon as they were available. I should note that it was extremely busy, and she did all of this with a positive, friendly attitude. Her service was exceptional and I hope TGI Fridays values her as an employee!

Good service..best value for your money in the airport. No complaints. Nothing really remarkable other than there nothing to nit-pick about.

This place has great folks running it. I'm on my way to Connecticut and stopped in Texas. I wanted to get something to eat and stopped at TGI Friday. I ordered a a salmon...20 minutes later I was told that it had fallen to the flor. They came and told me what happened and they took care if the problem and the long wait, thank you TGI..

Friendly service, ordered a mimosa, chips & salsa, and the Caesar salad. Was disappointed by the quality and quantity of mimosa and salad. Paid full price for essentially a side dish and a sample. Likely won't eat at TGI Fridays anymore.

Not a bad place but not fantastic. I've eaten here a few times. Soda is always flat and food is average. Staff has always been frendly. It's nice being able to set and not fight crowd to eat.

I sat down in an empty section with my daughter near the womens bathroom. Server Ashley gets our drinks fast, but the sections begins to fill up and person after person after me gets there order after me. When all I ordered was a two appetizers waiting 20 mins to feed my baby and no food. Me being nice sitting in the corner doesn't mean I'm ignor me. I didn't sit down for sodas and to feed my kid crackers when others around me are eating after I already been sitting there.

Great food, and drinks! Fast service and friendly staff! The loaded fries are very delicious!

Hostess rude, salad bland, waiter upset because I ordered cup of water...lousy customer service...I didn't leave a tip and will never eat here again...

Stopped in for breakfast as I was on a layover. The staff was very friendly, but missed a couple of details when it came to my order. My food it itself was okay, I ordered steak and eggs and the steak was prepared properly, but it lacked flavor and was a little dry. The meal came with bacon, but it was cold and not very crispy. The attitude of the staff was probably the highlight of the meal, the food was a little lackluster.

Great service! The food was disgusting though!

Worst Cesar salad, worst long island I've ever had at any fridays, the wings were even subpar.

Only the broccli cheddar soup was good and pretzels.

I've been too MANY fridays before and never had such a bad salad or drink :/

They expect you to eat with just a plastic knife I guess. Had to ask twice for a fork & the waiter couldn't remember my order after repeating it several times. He still brought me the wrong thing. Very overcrowded as well. Will not be back.

Great service, but unfortunately my steak was tough, chewy & under seasoned.

Open early, hungry travelers can get real food before catching their connecting flights. Right next to the bathroom, always a plus.

Pretty solid margaritas.

very happy that the full menu is served all day! we were able to have the beyond burger vegan style at 8am in the morning! Our server was amazing too. I think her name was Hannah very attentive and knew the menu front to back! Our experience here made us forget about our long layover!

Friday's has surprisingly got a bit better but that really isn't saying much. This one is in the airport and has plenty of chargers to juice up your device while dining so that is a plus but overall the same old fridays.

Needed beer and food.

It's alright.. The menu was pretty standard and the food tasted as expected.

A bit tight though, so if you're going with more than a party of 2, expect a tight squeeze. Great service though!

Not bad for an airport joint, but service was kinda slow

I was pleasantly surprised by this TGIF. Service was fast and friendly, and I had a delicious spinach omelet. They had a decent breakfast menu, and I was in and out in under an hour. Best food and service I ve had in an airport restaurant!

Most disappointing $30 "meal" I've ever had. Service was great but the proportions were small and the "steak" was 1/2 fat.

They are all the same. I aee no difference in any tfi fridays that i have ever been to. Food js pub food. Its comparable to chilis.

Service was great, food was great. Had the Jack Daniels chicken. Staff was attentive and let me hang around for a while while I get some work done.

Not recommended, one of the few times I ate bad burger.

Steak was terrible and I had to eat it with my fingers because it was so tough and the plastic knife they provided wouldn't even cut it. Not a good choice, trust me.

Who would have known that TGIF has great steamed spinach! I have food allergies. Makes business traveling difficult to say the least. Waiter took my request to kitchen and manager joined in and all came together to make me a fantastic meal. My steak, was a very generous proportion and tender enough to cut with a plastic knife. Thank you! You are my go to fo DFW.

Service above & beyond the call of duty. When all other restaurants in terminal C, including Chili's, said definite NO to serving breakfast after 10:00 a.m., (it was 12:30 p.m.), TGI Friday made an exception for me. I had eggs, bacon, toast, fresh strawberries & coffee. All for less than $8.00. The exception "THANKS" goes to the wonderful hostess Linda, and her manager, Christa. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Price was excellent. This on a day full of several hundred flight cancellations.

We ordered chicken tenders, fries, Mac n cheese, and house salad. Salad was fresh and large. Honey mustard dipping sauce was tasty. Mac n cheese came in larger bowl and was extra cheesy. We were in-and-out having only 45 minutes before boarding. Server was friendly and respectful of social distancing.

I was here on a layover. By the time I found this place, I had only 30 minutes before my flight boarded. I was worried, but hungry and decided to risk it since it was close to my gate. My server, Holly was amazing. Friendly, upbeat, and so efficient. She had the food and drinks out so fast, I was able to enjoy my meal and still make my flight.

This place is terribly cramped and whatever limited menu they offer seriously has to be a joke.

Not even worth sitting down in this place.

Staff was great. But whoever decided on the menu should probably not work in food service. Period.

Absolutely horrible food. Ordered waffles. They had to have been frozen, only one side was actually a waffle, the other side was flat. Very strange flavor. $3 for one unripe strawberry, 3 mandarin orange slices and two watermelon chunks.

Friendly bartenders and waitstaff, but service was less than speedy. Seating would be comfortable were there a mere two or three extra inches between seating arrangements. Food was predictably good.

Worst service ever. Do not order steak options, they are super tiny.

The Million Dollar Cobb salad was absolutely delicious and well worth the cost.

I eat here more often than I would like to admit when I am at DFW. Nothing to rave about, but does the job at a reasonable price. Was sad that my fries were a little soft this time.

The line was long the server was rude. Made my drink wrong when I asked them to fix it they brought me back the same drink different glass still no sugar on rim. Then the server slammed it on the table and walked away. Rude rude rude.... the food was overcooked and the service was terrible. The manager was even more rude he didnt apoligize at all and was making rude remarks that we werent allowed to have anything more to drink. When all we had was one drink in an hour. Didnt offer anything for the terrible service. Not even an apolige. Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Dont go to this Fridays at terminal C 38 its absolutely the worst Fridays ive ever been to.

The waiter was hilarious. We only had drinks before our flight but it was good.

This bar is just across from airport Gate C7. Great service, especially considering the challenge of serving at an airport. Limited menu but full bar, with slightly above average prices. I would eat and drink here again!

Disappointing branch of an otherwise good franchise. The host was friendly and nice, gave me an accurate estimate of how long it would take to dine (which is important to know for travellers). I sat and waited long enough for another server to notice and ask if my server had been there to help me yet. I said no so she kindly took my food and drink order. I ordered the triple berry smoothie and the BBQ wings. They came quickly but were more disappointing than my high school GPA. I have pictured my smoothie next to my water because between the two I could have found more flavor in the water. I felt they had put a couple of pieces of fruit in a blender with a ton of ice and red food coloring. Or perhaps took the remnants of a real smoothie, topped it off with ice, blended it, and called it good. This was a tasteless slushie, at best. If you're going to charge your customers over $4.00 please give them a product worth that price. The wings came with less sauce than a Justin Beiber song. There is no way these wings were tossed in sauce after being cooked, unless the cooks are completely incompetent. I asked for more sauce and my server brought it quickly, and I wasn't charged for it which is why I'm giving two stars not one. The sauce that was brought to me was gooey. After my second wing, it became difficult to dip the wings and get the sauce to stick on. I've had honey runnier than this sludge. The wings themselves were tougher than oxyclean is on stains. The breading was very hard, almost stale.
As I was leaving a middle aged couple set down near me and ordered drinks. My server asked for their ID and they literally asked her 'are you serious'. The server then told them that a coworker of hers had been fired yesterday for not ID'ing a forty year old customer. This is ridiculous policy! I've worked security at bars and I've been a server so I understand the risk to both you and your business if you don't ID but anyone who looks older than thirty should not have to dig for their ID, even at an airport where it should be more accessible already.
Overall, not a good experience. Worst $19 I've ever spent.

BEWARE!!! I travel to Dallas frequently for work, and often eat at this TGIF location. Last Friday night when I was flying home I ate there, food and service were fine like usual. My waiter, however, left himself a 32% tip changing my $14 to a $24. Extremely disappointed, calling management - and will not be back.

UPDATE - management quickly took care of this and made things right with us.

I love coming here when at DFW staff is f'awesome the food is on point too.

Just had breakfast and coffee there and it came and was it good weird eat there again.

Quick easy bite at DFW Airport. The pecan salad actually wasnt bad at all. Lots of chicken, grapes, cranberries, and of course pecans over a bed of different leafy greens.

Horrible . I was delayed for 12 hours , and had two drinks all day and they kicked me out because I asked them to change the channel. Ew ugly service and mean manager . Super unprofessional . No tip ,

Wish I read the reviews. The waitress was never there. Had to ask for a check several people that got to the place before myself and the party did had received their food and left. Our waitress amber was flirting with the bartender the whole time. I love Tgi Friday's but this was a poor presentation of what they stand for.

I ordered a chicken dish that looked awesome on the huge picture of the menu. The chicken was browned glazed with what it look a marinate with parsley, garlic and other ingredient that i dont know what it was. The potatos had onions on top as decoration you know. I got a plain white grilled chicken and the plate could not look more plain. I sent it back but they did not fix the chiken just the mashed potato. I asked my money back and the manager din't even offered me water for my trouble and was very happy to charge for the to go salad. Disappointed.

It was an excellent service, I ordered a burger, and it's quality was excellent, I recommend the cheesecake. The server who attended to me was very service focused, she was gentle all the time. I recommend this place when passing through DFW airport. Enjoy it

The service at the door says it all!! Fun, inviting, and happy to see you. This was definitely the best hostess ive ever seen. From her tie wrapped around her like a scarf to the way she made you feel welcome...she had it all. This restaurant understands its customers and makes every effort to make their experience great. A busy airport must be hard to manage with all the people rushed for time. But they have mastered getting you in and out quick and letting you know what to expect. Overall, best experience at an airport or tgi fridays!!

Food was good but my waiter was horrible. I guess I was over looked because I didn't look like everyone else. Not leaving a tip and I want be back to this Friday's ever.

Staff was extremely friendly, some of the nicest people! They helped make a long layover so much more lighthearted.

Gabby was friendly and provided very good service. Don't order the Cobb salad. They used the heart of the lettuce which a little would be okay, but not 90%.

The sizzling chicken & cheese is recommended.

Great pick n go service. Cheese veggie burrito it s a good option.

I walked and took a trolley from D terminal for the pecan crusted chocked alas that is listed on the menu to find out you do not serv it anymore - please do not advertise you have something you don t - it was the highlighted dish on the banner at the airport and is listed on your in airport menu - but you don t serve it!

We are going on 1.5 hours service. We have ordered a second appetizer, mind you, not even a dinner course, and we have yet to get our second appetizer. Empty tables all around, we are sitting at the bar area, and yet to get our second requested appetizer. Going on two hours.

Way overpriced I paid 10.80 for a beef patty on a bun, no side, and its dry. Not worth the "convenience ".

Quick, pre-made breakfast sandwich. It was okay. Lovely and friendly lady at checkout was the highlight.

Fresh meal hot and cold ready now or stay and dine in.

These guys need to shave. They ALL need to get off the phone!! Then my waiter with a short beard is on his phone then fills my empty glass. Then he brings me the wrong receipt.

It was just OK. It should have been better I only order a chicken Caesar salad. Very little chicken and staff very blah. I do have to say when you ask for a booth but say none. I have eyes I can see two from the front door

Worst spot ever. The Bartenders clearly racist. We sat for a lil over 5 minutes no service and when any other person sat down who was not of color they had an immediate greet. I tried closing out and ignored twice. Chris with the glasses was somewhat a saving point. He tried to be nice to us but I had such a bad time I left. Horrible way to start my vacation dealing with ignorant people. I ended up going to papadeaux which changed my life. If you re a person of color avoid Fridays. Your service will be awful just go to Papadeaux

It's an airport TGI Fridays. If you're eating here, there's a built in limit to how good your day is going to be.

Conveniently located right off the tram. I have had meals here a couple time and it's always good as is the service. It can get packed at peak traveling time

Thoughtful staff as they cater to hurried travelers. Food is good too!
