Nursing staff is great! Some of the resident docs are a bit archaic. Food service kitchen is really on top of things and the cafe hours work well for visitors. In room TVs are horrible, direct tv service with SD old tube TVs! Wifi functional 3-5 meg limits per user. Bring an Android projector with streaming apps if you are stuck here a while!

Everyone was gracious and professional, wonderful staff! The only issue I had was I had a massive headache and pain and there was a young girl staff member whose voice just happens to be one of those voices that travels easily and she was non stop (personal life dialogue) with a little bit of curse words every now and then, never saw her just heard her the entire time, maybe she should practice a hospital voice. Other than that a great experience, thank you.

Slowest hospital I've ever delt with. I have a severe kidney infection & kidney stones. Been laying here for 8 hrs now & still have NO antibiotics. Worst hospital ever. The doctor, dr. Ifran is also extremely rude & cant wait to leave the room when talking to you.

Worst hospital experience ever!! I will NEVER recommend anyone here! I honestly feel sorry for the people that are in worse shape than me and have to suffer because of the short staff and ridiculous so called nurses. I ve been to better hospitals and I have never been through a bad experience. Do NOT come to this hospital!! Methodist and Memorial Hermann are a better hospital with caring staff.

If I could give less than a one or a - 5 I would. My 91 year old father was admitted for diarrhea and dehydration. They started a standard rehydration IV fluid. When he had trouble sleeping the MD ordered HALDOL DECONOATE!!!! As a geriatric Pharmacist who lives several hours away I was unaware he received this medication. I do know this is a seriously bad decision to give this medication to give an elderly patient especially the timed released deconoate form for sleep. He received two doses before my sister called me and started dad is hallucinating. I called the hospital and could not speak to the MD who prescribed this medication. Needless to say he is now home and very sedated and still unable to function as he did before his admission. I am very disappointed with the care or as I see it lack of care, he received. We will definitely go somewhere else if he need further care in the future!!!

Because of this hospital, I changed from donor to non-donor. Crooked hospitals like this will try and kill you for your organs to gain them money, even if you aren t in a grave condition. Beware.

My overall experience was great! The nurses were so attentive and positive, the therapists were very conscientious and knowledgeable, every worker I came in contact with was focused on the work to be done and did so with a great attitude.
Thanks so much for making a very difficult time easy!

My last stay at Tomball Regional Medical Center was excellent. The on call doctor treated me like a human being and the nurses were professional and enjoyed cutting up with me. It was such an improvement that I can't express my gratitude enough.

My husband was admitted recently for heart issues. I just can't say enough nice things about this hospital. The parking was easy, the staff went above and beyond to make my husband comfortable, and the level of care was perfect. Much better than Conroe and St Lukes.

My 4 yr old daughter went in for her tube in the ear procedure and we had a horrible experience. As soon as I signed in at 6am there was an African American woman who was extremely rude. It s was ok until after the procedure my daughter woke up and my family and I were called to the recovery room. I noticed while changing her from the robe to her clothes that she was dripping blood from her arm. No one had informed me that my daughter was given ketorolac without my knowledge or consent. It upsets me because I had to find out on my own, nobody told me. Nor did my daughter have bandaid on her shot. Now this is extremely important to make a parent aware of anything that goes into your child s body. When I called for a supervisor the nurse went from 0 to 100 with her attitude I asked her if there was a problem and she replied back saying no it appears that you have a problem. Extremely rude and uncalled for! This hospital is rude and snoody and unprofessional!

Extremely Satisfied, Great Birthing Center. Due to preregistering we were in the ER for only 1 minute. Staff in L&D and Postpartum are some of the most knowledgeable and caring I've ever seen. I have a lot of kids too...

Reviews about Organ Donating are not accurate, Just say no if you are worried.

The care I received at this facility was very very good. I had to wait awhile to be called back and wait even longer in pre-op but that was because of my Doc... not the hospital staff. During my wait the staff was very attentive to make sure I was comfortable. They were very personable and very good at their respective jobs. (The nurse who started the IV was top notch!!)

Went to the Tomball Sports Medicine Center (owned and operated by HCA) in early August to enroll in water physical therapy. Was told the heater was out and pool would not open until it was fixed in about 2 weeks. I said ok, I was going out of town the second week anyway so I would start therapy when I got back. Got back, pool still not fixed but "we are hopeful in another week, or so"... NOT... Had two therapy sessions on land but doc specifically wrote for water. Was then told well, the matter has to go to the board and then waddle its way back down the chain again and it might be several months... MONTHS!!! Unbelievable they would even accept water therapy patients knowing that type of information not to mention, what kind of quality facility would allow a key feature of their physical therapy program to fall into such disrepair and have NO BUDGET to repair it and/or have to go all the way to the board of the Hospital System to get a repair approved. Why have the facility if you are not going to maintain it properly. Yet one more shinning example if why we avoid Tomball hospital and HCA hospital systems. Really very sad.

ER is ok except that my mom never saw a MD while in the ER and there were no blankets. Once you get a room, get a yellow pad. She was admitted Wed evening around 10 and didn't see a MD until Friday late morning. It took him over 24 hours to see her after he picked up the consultation. He is suppose to see her within the 24 hours of accepting the consult. He hadn't read the notes in her file and knew nothing about her. I didn't know that I could have him taken off her case until he prescribed a 4th antibiotic (for no apparent reason) in 5 days in a family of drugs that I told him the first day that I saw him that she was sensitive. The story does not stop there. The elevators are missing light bulbs, TV in her first room was so dusty, I stood on a chair to clean it. The refrigerator freezer had 3-4" of ice. I defrosted it. I have photos. I think they must advertise overseas as I didn't see many US born nurses or techs there. I do not have a problem with folks getting ahead, but why hire someone with a thick accent who has to communicate to an elderly sick person who has a hard enough time hearing in the first place. On the PT side, the dining room has a TV that is turned up so loud that it is annoying. Why not some music in the morning instead of a blaring TV. And you wonder why the patients can't here you? That is where the doc sometimes makes his rounds. In the dining room.........with the TV blaring. sigh........................

The staff upstairs and the nurses and everybody is great, however, the Imaging staff DO NOT care about the patients other than a select few, as I knew them all personally, and for the majority, they only care about their selfish and self centered lives. As a patient on the floor you have outstanding care, but I would refuse Imaging tests unless it's life or death.

ER was horrible. I have severe back, neck and nerve pain to the point I can not function for 90% of the day No compassion, not friendly. I felt like I was inconviencing them. Took X-ray which I have already had done.. good news! Nothing's wrong! You are discharged. Save time and money. Get compassion and real care at fast ER in Kroger parking lot. So much better!!! Oh and calling back to explain that they didn't even do the correct X-ray--- "Our main concern is are you going to live or are you going to die". Not the fact that I'm in severe pain. I wrote to an email to the hospital and got a letter back from the ER manager, she said in her letter if any issues to call her, several voice messages later and no call back.
***** Adding almost a year later. I have been diagnosed with spasmodic torticollis, a neurological disease..I will have severe chronic pain that will only get worse in time. So something was very wrong! Thanks for the few tramadol and kicking me out the door! Disgusting

I wanted to share the EXCELLENT care that I and my daughter have received at Tomball ER HCA. Over the last 10 years, I have been there at least twice and my daughter also visited recently. The physicians and nurses are excellent. They are attentive, very responsive and excellent clinicians. I would HIGHLY recommend this ER. Each time I have gone as well as my daughter, we only waited a maximum of 10 to 15 minutes. All other emergency rooms that I have been to in the past, I have had to wait a minimum of 4 hours. This ER is top notched with state of the art care. Thank you all for making each of our visits smooth and pleasant. Providing excellent care as you all do is essential in your success as an ER as well as improving patient outcomes. We have great confidence in the care you all provide. THANK YOU for all your hard work--to all of you--both the clinical AND business team!! Keep up your great work in caring for us patients!!

Was brought here after having the entire right side of my body go numb. Thought I was having a heart attack.
Was dropped off by the ambulance and basically left strapped onto the gurney for 15 minutes while the ER had a bed freed up.
Nurse came in after I was set up. Was very huffy. Asked what the problem was. Told her my symptoms and she asked was there anything going on.

Was givin two pills that I had at home for anxiety.
And left mostly alone for four hours.
Then discharged after my pain went down.
I walked outside on my own and had to wait for a ride. No one made sure I made it out the ER alright.
Honestly think I could have died right there on the sidewalk and it would have been a Not my problem sort of thing for them.

Do. Not. Go. Here.
They don t care about you or your health.

I was in badly need of hernia surgery. The hospital was very professional but when I came out of surgery I didn't know what I was doing or saying but they took care of me good and I was gone that same day I'm 70 years old so I didn't know if I could have surgery and leave the same day or not but I did it. Nurses that took care of me before and after surgery were all very good and professional everybody was considerate and help me out. I was concerned about my heart through the whole thing but they assured me and we consulted and everything we went fine but it was Operation I had to have believe me I did cuz I was uncomfortable cuz I was living with that hernia for six months umbilical hernia was not fun. Thanks to you and your staff for helping me out bye bye later. I'm sure my hospital visits stays and or whatever at my age I'll probably be back for something.

Do not go here if you need help and do not have insurance or are not from Mexico. I was seen today at the same time as a woman from Mexico, we both had the same symptoms. I was told I could not be diagnosed with an x-ray and they could not give me an MRI. The other lady was diagnosed with only an x-ray and treated far better than me. I am an American citizen and she is not but she got better treatment.

The Emergency room is precariously slow and 99% of the ER staff is beyond rude to the sick or injured. Someone could actually die sitting in the waiting room even if there is not many people there to see the ER doctor. This is by far the worst Emergency room in Tomball. Even if you have been in a wreck they still take their time to get to you. Worst disposition by the workers I've ever seen. If you want to be seen sooner, I encourage you to find a different emergency room to go to.
The rest of the hospital is pretty nice and I should know because I've been admitted there many times for surgeries and child birth.

I have had 4 endoscopy/colonoscopy procedures in my life and this was the worst! I was in so much pain and still not coherent and they sent me home in my stocking feet because I wasn't coherent enough to put my shoes on. I have a Memorial Hermann in my backdoor in Fairfield. I will NEVER drive to Tomball to be treated like that again! Patients are your customers and they are human beings. You would do well to remember that!

i have not been there, however I work for another hospital owned by this company, and I have worked under the CEO that is at this hospital.
1. The administration, if aware of ANY of the events described here would be totally intolerant of any of this treatment of patients
. 2. If you experience any of this treatment, let administration know immediately! Truly, they WANT to know!
3.Some of these statements are so outrageous as to be beyond believing they happened!
4. I have worked for a hospital owned by the parent company for 15 years...and patient treatment such as this is not tolerated.

My husband was an inpatient over a year ago with a Medicare Advantage plan in network for a hip repair. Months of getting erroneous billing even after having proof of insurance payment and date. Still got bills that were wrong and then wrote many letters and many phone calls. where we were told the bill was paid by his plan April 2017. More bills with "PAST DUE" notices. Finally had to go to insurance grievance board September 2017 to be told once again the bill was paid in April 2017. A few weeks ago got a COLLECTION notice for the entire amount of the bill over 95,000!!! Still on the phone and was told it was a problem with the carrier. Why harass the beneficiary who is being sent the entire amount in a threatening and intimidating manner-- when this is between the carrier and the provider?? A nightmare for over a year. Run from this place.

Follow up 8/22/18; Yes thank you for the response and the phone number you have provided, but I tried calling the number you kindly gave me only to get VM several times. I got a message today from a different person asking me to call her back which I have done --only to get a busy signal and no way to leave a VM; and then later it just rang and rang with no way to leave a VM. Frustrating.

The ER doctor says my husband has pneumonia. He was transferred to his room at 9 pm and no one is doing anything. I asked them to take his temperature at 11:30 it is 102.1 but they can't do anything and they can't find the doctor. I asked them to check again at 2:00 it is103.3 they say they can't give him anything. So now I am really mad. It after 2 o'clock and no medication since 9 o'clock in ER and he has pneumonia. Dr. arrives and questions the charge nurse and told her this is unacceptable and apologizes to me. If I could give a zero review, I would.
So if you know of anyone who you could care less if they live or not, send them to the 4th floor of the hospital. This is the worse staff on the face of the earth. They don't care about the welfare of the patient.

As usual, the service and care I received at Cy-Fair Hospital emergency room was excellent! First class all the way. Every thing was efficient, tests were made and I was on my way in a couple of hours.

The only problem I have with the visit is, for a follow up visit to a cardiologist, they referred me to one in Tomball! I don't live in Tomball, and I am NOT going to go to Tomball for a doctor. I live THREE BLOCKS from Cy-Fair Hospital and if you don't have someone to refer me to near Cy-Fair, I will just find my own!

The nurse was seated at the reception desk when I entered and told him I thought I had broken my finger. He replied "I doubt it." He called me back and didn't weigh or measure me just asked my those details. He put us in an exam room where the Dr. came in and again told me he doubted I had broken my finger. The X-ray tech took me to do an x-ray and the machine didn't work and he had to bring in another machine. The Dr. came back in said my finger was in fact broken and put a splint on it. No other instructions were given. At no time did anyone ask my about my pain level. My blood pressure was high and no one mentioned that either. after the splint was placed another nurse brought me a phone to register and the person on the line couldn't tell me if you all were in network with my insurance or not. I find it odd that I wasn't registered prior to x-ray's. Then the discharge nurse came in handed us some papers, gave no instructions and told us to wait in the lobby for a copy of my xray. No one told me how long I need to wear the splint or if follow up was needed. We waited almost 40 minutes for the disk...and the facility was not busy. All in all I would say I was dissatisfied with my visit. And, should I need an emergency room in the future I won't be returning to this one.

I was 20 early for my 0900 appointment. It took 40 minutes to get me registered and I waited another 20 minutes before registration took my paperwork to the person in the radiology waiting area.

Michelle who did the sono was wonderful and professional.

I am also an employee and was prepared for the wait (I brought a book to read) as it was the same the last time I had labs there... I now go to Labcorp for my labs, in and out in 15 min and the cost if any is a lot less than what I pay at my own hospital...

If I would have tried to go elsewhere but I have had a good experience with the radiology department through working with them. I would go back because if the people who work in radiology.

After some consideration, I've decided to give this hospital a 1 star review.

My wife was feeling terrible and had some strange chest pains and was feverish, saying her blood felt hot. I've never seen her like that before, so I drove her to Tomball Regional to get her taken care of. The wait was rather quick (1am in the morning) but from there it all went downhill.

I had to continue asking questions and clarifying things for her to the staff. I had to follow up repeatedly after being left without a word or update on what was going on. I had to ask that they give her some medicine for her symptoms. This is an ER. You should know what to do to make someone feel better, but don't prescribe, recommend, or explain anything to your patient except telling them that they won't die. I'm glad, but come on...

Some "labs" billed us 3k and you charged our insurance 7.5k for a few simple tests. We spent maybe 10 minutes with staff altogether, and the tests done here cost next to nothing at our PCP. Then you tell us that my wife should describe her symptoms better if she wanted better treatment? No thanks. This is definitely a money pit, and while there are great employees here, it felt like so many mistakes were made for such a great cost.
