This place location is superb. It is overlooking the Taal Lake and it is beside Sky Ranch Tagaytay. The room is very relaxing and they have lots of parking space. The food are great here also. My only problem when we go to this place are the staff. When we arrived late in the afternoon we noticed that we can't lock the balcony door. It is a very small issue but the action of the staff are really frustrating. We call the lobby and said they will come but after waiting for about 30 minutes nobody comes. So we call again and the lobby said they will send someone, guess what nobody come after an hour. We're hungry so we leave the room and told the lobby personally about our concern. They said they will send someone. After staying for 2 nights there, nobody comes until we leave. Very frustrating experience on a beautiful place like this.

The room was really spacious and the bed in our room was really cozy. I really love staying here at taal vista each time I visit tagaytay. The room that was given to us was really great as it was overlooking the beautiful taal lake especially in the morning, you will feel extra charged for sure. Taal vista's breakfast buffet was also one my favorite among all the others that I have tried. The food was really tasty but what stands out the most is their Bacon! Its unlimited and it tastes a lot lot better compared to other bacons. Highly recommended.

Highly dissapointing. Rooms were not yet available for us and many other guests an hour past 2:00 pm, a total cluster f@(k at the lobby during check in.

The shoddy worksmanship and dilapitated state of the hotel is embarrasing. It was raining and everyone could see water leaking down the roof from a lit electric light bulb - A fire waiting to happen or someone about to be electrecuted, but no one seems to care and it was business as usual.

Providing direction, guidance and supervision for maintenance and housekeeping seems to be beneath the roles of upper management, hallway windows, room windows, floors were glaringly filthy and everyone can see trash.

Definetly not a 4 star hotel and not worth the money.

I stayed here for a company function. There are three Big Ballrooms and some smaller function room. Outside the function room is a very beautiful view of the Taal lake .

Room size is big and if you are in the lake view side, the balcony gives you a wonderful view for relaxing moment.

Veranda serves breakfast for check in guest . The food choices are good, also the next morning, they change some of the food.

The public places are well maintained. The room we got in mountain wing was terrible. I understand that it is an old building, but it's not well maintained at all. There's holes, things are dirty and rusty. Wifi was non existent in our room also. Almost like a cheap hotel, not worth the money!

We booked a room on the lake wing. We were expecting views of the lake from our room based on the pictures that is posted with the "lake wing" but instead we were facing the roof of the side of the building. Also, on the description it says deluxe twin bed and the picture one website was a whole bed so we were thinking maybe they put it together to make it "deluxe". We just thought that's how they do it here but we came to a room with 2 twin beds separated from each other. The whole thing kind of made me laugh when we entered and I looked at our booking to make sure we had the right room and we were because we were never really promised a lake view from our room just the "lake wing" and same with the bed but the picture they put with it definitely was not accurate. Another thing with the room is cleanliness and it needs updating the pictures make it look better than what it is. For about 140$ a night I definitely would not recommend it. If you want the view there are a lot of restaurants that have it while you eat and find yourself a cheaper cleaner place.

Decent buffet selection. Loved the diningding, vegetables are crunchy and bagoong flavor is not overwhelming. Just right. The lechon kawali though is not crunchy. Loved the stuffed squid. There is variety on the grill station and an array of desert. My daughter loved the fries on the kiddie buffet. She was also amazed with the cultural show. A bit pricey but children 7 and under do not pay.

We stayed at three hotels during our visit to Tagaytay and Taal Vista Hotel was the second hotel that we stayed at as well as the best among the other two. The view of the Taal lake from the hotel is just stunning. There is also an exclusive gate to Sky Ranch for hotel guests which we enjoyed. The breakfast buffet was so good and, quite honestly, very memorable.

The staff is really accommodating. The door lock to our room was misaligned but they sent someone to try and fit it. When they could they quickly got us a new room with the same set up as the first one tonthat was really nice.

This was my second time to check in at Taal Vista ...

This was my second time to check in at Taal Vista Hotel, but the first time during this pandemic. I would like to say that the quality of my stay was very different. First, the lobby was not open. The cafe/ bar after the main lobby was closed. The bed sheets did not smell fresh. And we were placed in a room without a view of the Taal Volcano. The clincher for me was the breakfast. The quality of the breakfast that was served was way below the standard I enjoyed pre-Covid. HOWEVER, it was still a pleasant stay. Taal Vista, in my opinion, may have one of the best views of Taal compared to any other property of this kind. It offered me and my partner a short but peaceful escape from the current realities we all face, a fleeting reminder of life how it once was.

The room/s on the 100's are so comfy and refreshing, and if you go outside you can see the whole taal volcano. Sadly in my time of visit, it is a little bit foggy but nevertheless the air and scenery are absolutely astonishing.

PS. Beware of the prices of the room as they are not cheap for on the budget!

Needs improvement on staff responsiveness. Not sure if today was a busy day, but there were times no on responded from house keeping nor front desk. And even when they eventually did, there were times our requests were not addressed.

Had dinner at the Taza restaurant.
Salad was refreshing.
Their morocan chicken tasted like afritada.
Their pasta was great.
Mojito was not that good..
There was a big group that had a few drinks already. Noisy and was annoying.
Aside from that, all was good...
