We were at Veranda to celebrate Father's Day. And since it was a weekend, we were treated to a cultural show of Philippine folk dances, which really made it special. The place offered a very relaxing ambience although you can already see that the furnitures are a little worn out. There was a decent number of food choices which all tasted okay --- nothing extraordinary. After lunch we get to enjoy the view of their beautifully landscaped backyard with a perfect view of Taal.

A very good place to hold big events- conferences, wedding receptions & the like. Perfect for live-in seminars. The hotel offers large function rooms and comfortable & clean rooms. Serves good food and the staff are courteous/helpful/ facilitative.

Also offers a spectacular view of Taal Lake from the lobby, the restaurant and from lake-view rooms.

The place is old but definitely classy. You'll find a good view of the lake from the dining area. Take note of your room assignment anf parking: you might need to walk a good distance if you're not familiar with the place. Staff are very friendly and hospitable

Only tried the bar & restaurant. Tasty, decently priced food, especially considering the location & beautiful mountain views of the hotel, which are easily seen from the restaurant. You can also step right outside of the restaurant to get amazing panoramic photos & views of the volcano. Drinks/cocktails are well priced too (try their mango daiquiri!). The hotel itself is beautifully decorated as well. There is also a gift shop where we were able to grab some last minute souvenirs. Service was very friendly & attentive.

Great place to stay in Tagaytay. Good facilities for adult and kids. They have a play area for the kids which is not common in hotels. Have a nice view of the Taal lake. Friendly staff. Good food but there are other places to get food for lesser cost.

Only stayed 1 night on 6th Sep to attend wedding reception off location. Brought our parents along so they can spend the night here too. Upon checked in, the hotel got my card to swipe which is normal procedure. Mum and dad had dinner in the hotel while we were at wedding reception. They were refused to have their dinner charge to the room and were told to pay there and then. This really bother us since we brought them along to treat them. The hotel already have my credit card details, so!!. This is the first time I have encountered this where hotel refused to have expenses on their premise charge to guest room. For this type of hotel to operate their business this way, it is poor and definitely do not have customer enjoyment and experience in their best interest. This will be the only time we are here. One bad experience is enough. Never again.

We stayed overnight at the Taal Vista Hotel and we were given a room at the old wing. We found that the rooms at the old wing have been renovated and surprisingly, very tastefully done. The room we were given was a superior room with a king-sized bed and it was elegantly furnished, with a comfy feel. The room accessories and other knick-knacks blended well with the room's theme.

However, we noticed that despite the renovations, the bathtub still seemed outdated. Also, the slide lock inside the room was also busted (they could've repaired that easily, but they didn't).

In any case, despite this (and the large weekend crowd in the lobby and the hotel restaurant), we still had an enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Taal Vista offers good views of Taal Lake from the property and also has a good selection of restaurants including upscale dining at Taza Fresh Table, International buffet in Veranda and casual all day dining in the lobby.

Honestly, a very bad hotel, and more importantly, it has experienced more than an earthquake in the hotel, and the whole hotel moves together, and I went to the reception and spoke to them that I wanted to leave the hotel and they refused to return the rest of the money to me, so I advise visitors to this area not to live near the lake, meaning one lives in Manila and goes walking Here, beside the lake, and he returns to sleep in Manila is better, as the nearby volcanoes may erupt at any moment, but the problem is earthquakes and we are not used to it. By God, I went to them, and it is normal and normal for them, and also there was a marriage in one of the halls below, and the situation is normal for them. To a hotel in Manila called H2O, which has an excellent view of the sea, airiness, cleanliness and everything around you

Nice

Amazing view of Taal Volcano!!

Amazing view of Taal Volcano!!
The facilities of the hotel are old and not modern.
The breakfast is OK, but less than you would expect in hotel on this level.

I am satisfied with the services except that the baggage handler during my check out who told my wife to transport the baggage to our transport bus failed to do so. I went back to the main lobby and my baggage was still there. One of the employees took the luggage to the bus driver who was loading the luggage at that time. When I came home I discovered that my white S5 Samsung charger was missing. I remember placing the charger at the top pocket of the baggage. I checked out from mountain wing 120 on January 8th between 10 am to 11 am. Please investigate. Thank you very much, Zack

Using recycled water for flushing the toilets and the outlets are not marked and I found our bidet connected to the recycled water outlet. That's why it stinks. The place is well kept and clean. Lots of choices for breakfast but I can see much more room for improvement. We're in a big group and my niece caught the front desk not telling the truth about room availability. Telling no but yes to the other one! Service is otherwise good. Lots of helpful and courteous staff. We have a great view of the volcano from our balcony.

The Hotel is well maintained, the rooms are nice and clean, great view of Taal Lake (Lake Wing) and is walking distance to Sky Ranch. The Hotel staff were also very accomodating and polite. The breakfast buffet was also quite good. Highly recommended for anyone who would like to take a break and relax

Beautiful view

Beautiful view
Equipped with exquisite meals
A good restaurant not to be missed

After using the meal
To the back of the grass
Take a look
That beautiful Tagaytay crater

It seems like the idyllic beauty under the Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany.
