We stayed here for our wedding at Antonio's. The view of the lake is incredible. Minus one star because the hotel tried to charge us an unexpected fee just to take photos even though we had reserved a significant amount of rooms.
Edit: (response to owners response) we booked the second biggest suite (biggest one was not available) 8 months in advance and there were not a lot of people taking pictures on the deck (we have photo evidence and a lot of witnesses). Also our wedding party had at least 10 rooms plus our suites. Also my name is Gerardo not Geraldo. It's copy and paste.
Second edit: too bad your spelling check gets in the way of Basic customer service. Minus another star because you failed to acknowledge that we reserved a bridal room and photography 8 months in advance and you still delayed our wedding.

On the high way this, this hotel is a beautiful place overlooking the Tal Lake. The very sight from the hotel to lake and beyond is breath taking. The hotel and the restaurants are well kept. Kids will love this place. Food is good. The week ends tent to be crowded and makes the services slow down.

If planning a trip I suggest you do a bit of homework. I booked a room online from one of the big third-party hotel sites only to find out I could have booked the room cheaper. The views are nice. Restaurants have generous portions although, not the easiest to eat or the tastiest. Hotel seems to have a lot of history. I struggle with the prices and value compared to other countries. Nonetheless, the stay was decent though I expected a bit more.

If I have a budget for a staycation in Tagaytay, this is my first option for a place to stay. The breakfast buffet is really good, they offer lots of foods to choose from. Also walking distance from skyranch which is very convenient when you have kids who like to visit it. You will also love the view when you walk in their gardens in the morning.

Expensive hotel but it has one of the best views of taal lake and volcano. Room is kinda old but nevertheless we had a very comfortable stay. Service is great and food is delicious. We love the location because it is at the center of Tagaytay City where everything is accessible. There is an open air garden where you can relax and savor the cool air while having an overlooking view of the Taal Lake scenery.

The view of taal volcano from the hotel os perfect! The rooms in the mountain view area are a bit old but slightly cheaper than the lake view rooms. We didn't mind the view from the room though since the side of the hotel facing taal volcano is free for all. The hotel itself is very picturesque and a welcome respite to people looking for relaxation in a cool place. Also loved the breakfast buffet as it had varied cuisine to choose from.

Wow!! I can't say enough good things about the Taal Vista Hotel. What beautiful grounds and views. The room is superb. Clean, large and well-kept. The facilities are classy and the breakfast is excellent. I will stay here again next time I am in Tagaytay. There are beautiful views of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano from the grounds of the hotel. They also play live piano music in the lobby. The grounds are also extremely secure and safe. Beautiful!

Had a great view from our lakeview room. Very spacious. Restaurant Tazaa is highly recommended! Only thing I would have liked improved are the showers. They are fixed to the wall in a slightly awkward angle. Otherwise everything was great

I didn't stay at the hotel I just stopped over the place because their garden is over looking Taal volcano and yes the view is priceless.

While walking their garden I noticed that the facade of the hotel has a unique structure it looked like a big mansion witj a Malaysian vibe. But that is just my opinion, see it for youtself.

We ate lunch at this location, service was prompt and professional, food was delicious. The view was beautiful, but a little difficult to see from the main dining area, you would have to step outside to the open air balcony to maximize the view.

Overall ok. But there was an instance where there's a crew going room to room and asking if there's anything we need. We asked for a fresh set of towels but he never delivered. His sole purpose of disturbing guests was pretty much useless.

No visit to Tagaytay would be complete without spending some time at Taal Vista Hotel, if only to take in the stunning views of Taal Volcano from the best vantage point in town.
Food was excellent (albeit pricey), with large portions good for sharing. Lunch buffet was a bit expensive, and there were not that many choices. However, restaurant staff were very friendly and efficient -- obviously well-trained. Facilities, both indoor and outdoor, not to mention the expansive gardens, were all immaculately maintained. Congrats!
Lastly, the cumbancheros that serenade diners during lunch or dinner were delightful -- able to regale young and old alike with their almost bottomless repertoire. They took on all requests -- no song was too obscure, too old or too juvenile. From the latest Top 40 hits (is that still a thing?) to classic Oldies But Goodies to any and all Disney princess staple. Amazing!

Love the history of the place. Very nice location. Well prepared for the holidays. Enough parking space.

Con: Had to wait long for room to be available. Even then the room alloted for me was still not ready after 2 pm. After 3rd follow up they gave me a room which was available but was just holding. Limited seating capacity for breakfast. Had to wait if you to be seated within the restaurant vicinity. Otherwise, you get seated at the lounge fully exposed to guest traffic in and out of hotel. Limited food choices. Bad stale coffee and too sweet juices more likely powder mix. Old and smelly gym.

Relaxing place to stay with the family. Got the lake wing room for the weekend, excellent view of the volcano and lake. Very friendly staff, good food. Don't know about other rooms but the room we stayed, the restroom has no bidet and bathroom has no tub.
