The rooms they have have provided us is run down room, for a Php 5,200 special rate you get a stinky room with dirty bathroom fixtures, dirty looking old towels, moldy bedsheets. I've should have known better to book to a newer hotels nearby. The only good thing about this hotel is the food and breakfast

The grand old dame of Tagaytay has been able to update itself since I started visiting this as a child close to 40 years ago. It still has one of the best views. Rooms in the main wing are very functional. Breakfast buffet serves local fare and has enough variety and is generally tasty. All staff are hospitable and will go out of their way to serve your needs. Ample parking. Also has own access to the adjacent Sky Ranch.

The place is very beautiful. As expected by SM this hotel is packed with high class standards and dining. The only downfall is the view. You have to pay a higher price to get the balcony room with a picturesque view or suffer a far walk to the side units with a view of a rooftop. Nevertheless, the Breakfast Buffet is a must-try but their pool is kinda pool. WATCH OUT! The middle of the pool is kinda deep and their view deck is simply breath taking. A good place if you get the good room. Make sure to book early because this place is always full.

My family and I spent the new years here and I must say they have splendid service! I loved that in every floor there was a dispenser. Don t get me started on the view. The view really does not disappoint. I loved their amenities as well as the breakfast in the morning. We had a hard time finding seats for breakfast the following morning though because it was a little too crowded. Other than that this place still deserves those 5 stars. At night we went to visit the Sky Ranch and made a night out of it.

Stunning view of Taal Lake. Facilities are quite old/outdated for my taste. WiFi was horrible (but they did apologize for it). Don't expect yummy food. McDonald's burgers offer better comfort than their food. It's that sad.

My most favorite hotel in Tagaytay! Have the most amazing view of Taal Lake and volcano esp. if you'd be staying in the Lake Wing. My favorite spot, the balcony! It's really relaxing just watching the scenery in all it's glory! We were blessed with a good weather so everything was perfect. Very big room, cozy and homey ambience (i do hope my photos would do the place justice). The hotel is historic, used to be known as Taal Vista Lodge but had undergone numerous renovations through time, and now it's one of the more popular hotels in the area. Guests with big appetites would surely enjoy the sumptuous buffet breakfast with it's array of delectable foods that would surely satisfy ones' hunger pangs! There's a clean pool in another wing of the hotel, a gift/souvenir shop. Ample parking space. Just make sure to validate your parking ticket at the reception before checkout, waived fee. Welcoming and friendly staff.

Hotel looks old but it is still nicely maintained and has a really good view of the Taal volcano from the room balcony. The service is excellent and the restaurant (free breakfast) was very good and clean. The rooms are nice and get really cold with the AC. We stayed here Aug 2018 and really enjoyed it.

Uncomfortable beds. Not as clean as i would expect for a 4 star hotel. TV doesn't work for more than a few minutes. They come and reset the set top box and runaway before it cuts out again. The food was not great and extremely small portions at Canada prices. Only 2 bath towels when they know there are 3 in the room. Wi-Fi cuts in and out constantly and it is not a low signal strength. It is something else. 9333 pesos for a night for a room with a view of a ferris wheel with screaming kids, Uncomfortable beds, no tv and no mini bar is pretty unacceptable. There is a lot of room for improvement.

This hotel lives up to its reputation. Beautiful old hotel with all of the amenities and modern requests. Friendly staff and gorgeous views.

This is our second visit and I understand why they have so many weddings here. Its also a destination restaurant for many of the locals so the restaurants get busy on the weekends.

I set my engagement proposal in this hotel, The staffs are very accommodating and very attentive into the details of plan. I got a Yes! with their help. The room is big, amenities and food are great.

Just have a quite problem with the booking reservation. I booked using booking.com for 3 rooms but the one room tagged as confirmed, so I need to book on the same day, with much higher room rates. Good thing there's still available rooms for my friends. But overall, the experience is great! Will definitely be back soon!

I referred Taal Vista Hotel to my friends and gladly they booked there last weekends. I mentioned that I ve experience their breath-taking view of taal lake in one of their premiere rooms. I picked them up on the check out date and had lunch at the Veranda. Superb!! It s a very very good restaurant. They have friend staffs and very responsive. What my friends loved about the hotel and to my surprise, their experience at the reception desk... it was Ms. Camile again who assisted them. My friends booking is under Margareth Punzalan. They came in later than the checkin time but Ms. Camilee ensured that they will have a same room next to each other. Thank you for your never ending kindnesss and professionalism Ms. Camille! We hope to see you again when we had our vacation next year!! Good job and keep it up! You ll surely get a high recommendation becoz of this staff, Ms. Camille. Thank you Taal Vista for making my friends awesome just like ours! See in again soon!

It's a great location and I think one of the best views of Taal in town. F&B was also excellent and reasonably priced. Service was helpful and friendly with the exception of the concierge team, which was unsmiling and giving very unhelpful advice, e.g., there are no transport options aside from our hotel limo service. Rooms are well maintained but ours was so tired at the time of our visit (Jan 2018), I recommend staying away until you can be assured of a refurbished room.

Veranda Restaurant, Taal Vista Hotel has a very good selection for the breakfast buffet. After having breakfast, my wife and I enjoyed the views and nice breeze outside. Very beautiful hotel with breath taken views of Taal Lake.

This hotel is where I take my OJT or On the Job Training. This is a beautiful hotel, with heart taking view of Batangas, Laguna and of course the Taal Volcano. The employees here are friendly and nice too. Specially the Housekeepers. This is operating a long time a go and they manage to operate the hotel great up until now. This hotel is the most known hotel in our City. Known for the quality and their service. I'm sure of that because I've witnessed it all. The security is tight. There is a accessible department store nearby and a 7/11 store found in front of skyranch which is beside the hotel. If you are craving for fast foods, therd is a mc donals in front of the hotel itself. Hotel also serve meals. They have 1-3 reastaurants inside and they do room service for food. Taal Vista also have spa if ever your wanting some relaxation. It also has a pool found in the mountain wing building. Just ask the employees arround you. Hotel have Kiddie station where you can left your child for a while if you are running some business while on the trip with your family. Don't worry they will take good care of your child. Taal Vista was also a disabled friendly hotel, it has ramps on every part of the hotel.

The hotel is ok. But the reality is contrary to the pictures. It is not worth the price and is expensive as it is not five stars. Smoking is prohibited in all areas including rooms and garden. Breakfast is good. The view is beautiful. There is a Macdonald restaurant, a casino and a casino in front of the hotel. Services and restaurants are far away. The city does not deserve more than two days

Stayed here for five nights and enjoyed every moment. The only thing that makes this a four star review is that one of the restaurants (which I preferred) was hired out privately for events most evenings.

The view of the volcano is very good, especially during sunrise and sunset. Other facilities included a gym, swimming pool and games room but I didn't get to use any of them.

If you want to get out, a car is required - with a driver if you're not used to driving in the Philippines.

Very friendly staff, great food, all in all a wonderful stay and I'd definitely stay here again.
