One of the historical landmarks in Tagaytay. If you think of Tagaytay, there is only 1 hotel resort that comes into your mind, and that is the Taal Vista Hotel. They claim they have the best view of Taal Lake and Volcano. Although rooms need to be upgraded - it would be more comfortable if rooms would be carpeted or flooring should be made of wood or laminate rather than the old tile floors. Bathrooms clean but needs to be upgraded. They have one of the most beautiful events place for special occasions. Surely your guests would love this place with the cool weather and beautiful scenery, amidst a picturesque backgtound of the Tall Volcano. Newest attraction is the Sky Ranch in which guests can access and use the amenities. Its an amusement park with restaurants and other fun filled rides for the whole family to enjoy.

It is well maintained and top quality service and staff. They have good spacious rooms and plenty of amenities. Have great view of the Taal. Their free breakfast buffet is amazing, worth it!

Stopped in for a buffet lunch. Very expensive, poor quality and flies everywhere. Cold and hot food was all at room temperature. Hot food had to be microwaved to be edible. A pork stew had no meat in it, just skin and bone. The best food was the freshly cooked pasta, bbq skewers and the roast pork. Air conditioning was not working well so it was a hot environment. Very disappointed.

Nostalgic and very memorable. Beautiful place! I am glad I have seen it from its humble beginning (from Taal Vista Lodge to Taal Vista Hotel now) The staff are very much willing to help my fiance plan out his proposal and playing music on cue while he is on his knees makes it more romantic! Thank you very much!

Good hotel, good location, strong vision, simple hardware atmosphere, the flavor of the former American military, special foreign managers management, but unfortunately failed to implement the details, the bathroom water is not hot enough, the bathtub is blocked, it is a failure.

The same old Taal Vista Hotel famous in the 1990s is still the same. You can see the old structure inside and the facade are well maintained. The viewing deck towards Taal Lake is nice for photo ops with the nice back drop. The staff and attendants are all warm and accomodating.

It's an old favorite. I've been here many times and it's still my favorite among the many hotels in Tagaytay. The view of Taal Volcano is stunning and the ambiance just right for a quiet relaxation.

Stayed here last Feb 2017 for my anniversary - checking in was a hassle, they are obviously under staffed as the queue was long.

The rooms are ok, spacious and has a great view of the Taal volcano.

The buffet breakfast is typical, nothing that stood out.

Staffs are ok but most of them looks so tired that greeting you will require them effort.

Weekday rate is reasonable and will only come back here for the magnificent view.

5 star facilities and services. The price of the rooms are higher than the other surrounding hotels, but as I mentioned the facilities are incomparable to the neighbouring accommodation.

Five-star hotel divided into two wings of the front rooms of the lake and the rooms of the front of the mountain Rooms are not the level of five stars, but the best is said, the location is distinguished at the top of the high overlooking the lake in front of him McDonald's and to his right the city of saliva mini, # Important Note: Overpriced. There is a Triacle or Toktak to get to the lake or the park (the beautiful park) The atmosphere in Takayty is beautiful to relax

Awesome resort! Our room was meticulously clean and the view was amazing -- overlooking the Taal Volcano. While the staff was exceptionally friendly, courteous, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is planning for a nice retreat in Tagaytay Island.

One of the best hotels in Tagaytay but do be prepared to fork out some serious money for it though. Here's a tip though, there are two wings in the hotel with one named the Lake Wing, do not assume that you will get a Lake view room in your lake wing bookings. The lake view is a premium and does not come with all Lake wing rooms. So check your reservation to confirm that you actually have a Lake view or else you might be in for some disappointment. You will have to pay more for the rooms with the Lake view.

Comfy and classy hotel. They have very friendly and accomodating staffs who'll go the extra mile to help. The rooms might look kinda old, but they're clean. Their breakfast buffet is also really good, and they have good view of the Taal Lake and Taal Volcano from their outdoor dining area. In general, it is relaxing.

First time to Tagaytay, the hotel is a bit pricey but very nice and comfortable. The view of the Taal lake and volcano is breathtaking. Food was great and staff was friendly. The only issue we found was transportation (not really the hotel fault, its just how Tagaytay is laid out). It is almost impossible to walk anywhere on the narrow and very transited road. If you do no have a car, you need to arrange with tour guide to go to the volcano (probably at an extra fee) or any other place. Otherwise you're left with riding a jeepney or a trike/taxi and those were in short supply.

Service is good and overall I like the hotel for the price.

I am so impressed with the breakfast menu that is free when you book a stay in the hotel. I loved the champorado, bread pudding, fried rice, sardines in olives, bacon and ham. I also loved that the drinks are free and unlimited. Staff are courteous, attentive and very neat.
