Joel at S1L worked diligently with professionalism. He was always availible anytime and updated me at least weekly or the min somthing important in the process took place. He really made the refinance smooth, simple, and stress free all while doing everything I had asked for prior to the start. I would highly reccomend him to friends and family. From the very start Brandon went above and beyond to ensure I knew everything I needed to know. I was originally with another bigger lender and quickly realized they were not going to be able guide me through the process and be available the way I wanted. He was able to get me a better rate than the bigger lender and worked through some things that were out of his control, really impressed by how hard he worked for me and my family.

They did a credit check for a home loan or refinance without my knowledge or permission. This caused my credit report to drop and made me worry that I was a victim of identity theft. I have not been in the market for a loan or refinance. When calling them on it, they kept passing me off to extensions that were voice mails. Nobody answers or returns your calls. The office responsible is out of Lombard, IL.

Working with Tiffani was an amazing experience compared to working with other lenders. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions with confidence. I would enthusiastically recommend and would never go anywhere else.

Alan Gordon was exceptional to work with. Professional, prompt, responsive and accommodating to our needs and requests. He kept us up to date on what to do and what to expect next. Everything went smooth and fast.
Also of note, after all lines were signed, T's crossed and I's dotted; one of the other companies involved returned too much money to us then it was needed back, Alan and Synergy One showed true integrity by realizing it was no fault of our own and called it a wash, we got to keep that extra $. I realize every one is human and the original documents did have a lower amount so they had every right to have us return the extra $ that was sent to us in the mix. It was beyond helpful in meeting our needs and goals of refinancing our home. Not only was Alan outstanding to work with to get the loan, he stood by us and helped us showing his true veracity even after the loan was complete.

Nick is The Man! When I first made contact with him, I told him him right away that we were 1st time homebuyers.
