I needed to light the 125 year old carousel organ named Madam Laura once she was fully restored and I found Superbright from a friend. I am very happy with the results. They have anything you need in the way of LEDs HOWEVER, their biggest problem is you cannot see anything. They have NO showroom. If you need to see and touch something, you must order it. The best way these folks could improve their business would be to add a chain of consumer stores fully stocked with their products where one can see touch and feel the merchandise. I know that would mess with their totally online concept but sometimes that is just not enough. Madam Laura looks great though

Customer service has really gone down hill as has their ability to have the correct dimensions of LED for the application. Typically their products have been very good and on point, but maybe I was just getting lucky. Attached is an image of another LED that has the same issue. SuperBrightLED has matching dimensions.
If you have any sort of incandescent light source or simply want to add accent lighting to your home, vehicles, toys or virtually anything you can think of, this is the place! I have ordered from this company for years, and the reasoning is for their time and effort put into the data of each product they sell. Lumen output, voltage compatibility, size, mounting, and much more!
I ordered a quantity of 36, $14.95 LEDs approx 1/2 PAR36-R9W-160 & PAR36-G9W-160 for a time sensitive project. Towards the end we realized we were 1 bulb short so I order one additional PAR36-G9W-160 and paid extra for overnight shipping when it showed up the light was cracked. Our client was on their way to pick up this big project and we were forced to use the cracked bulb.
I emailed photos over of the broken bulb and received a complaint ticket number, I then called SuperBrightLEDs "customer service" and spoke with Lexi who was unhelpful, rude, argumentative and unprofessional. I explained my situation to her and how I paid extra for overnight shipping and she was very unsympathetic to the situation this company put me in. Her resolution was for me to ship the $14.95 bulb back let them examine it and then they will make a decision.
As a company owner myself my resolution would have been to say, "Sir I'm sorry about this we will send a new light immediately or credit your account." The entire situation was put on my shoulders to deal with in an impractical way that would not fix the situation I was put in to and in the mean time had I went along with the protocol I still would be out the extra $50.00 in over night shipping fees plus a missed my deadline. As a business you rely on other business's to deliver or make good on goods and services rendered and this was absolutely not the case. I'd equate SuperBrightLEDs for a supplier you would want to use for home projects or garage tinkering because time frame and deadlines are not their forte even though they will take your money for expedited processing but not resolve an issue they clearly caused in an expedited manner.
I then asked Lexi to speak with a Manager and her response was "she's busy" followed by a chuckle. This was the final straw that compelled me to write this review. So I hope someone finds it helpful.
Sept 2018.Bought a LED light kit for my motorcycle and after tetitnmg it home, found it would not fit my motorcycle. I was pleased with the length of wires and the light switch. I brought it back, talked to a sales representative and found a kit that would would. There was no hassles at all. Great customer service and exchange policy. The other review about not being able to return it is completely false. I highly recommend this place for good quality light kits. The customer service representative Tracey, goes above and beyond in helping the customer with products they need.
Terrible customer service. Made a big order for a project of mine that had strict time constraints. 2 days later I receive and email indicating that one of the items is out of stock. They offered no solutions other than to wait 4 months until item is back in stock. I propose another item in exchange, but only way of getting it in time is with very expensive next day shipping. They, of course, refuse to assume shipping charge when in reality is their mistake for not mentioning item is out of stock when charging my credit card. When talking on the phone, customer service woman was extremely rude because my accent wouldn't let her understand the invoice number, treated me like a dumb 5-year old. What a waste of time.
I bought their 194 LED Bulb - 5 SMD LED Tower - Miniature Wedge Retrofit's to replace the front side marker lights on my 2011 Ford Taurus due to the replacement process being near impossible by the home mechanic due to the design. The work is pretty much required to be done by the dealership. After the original OEM bulbs failed I had the dealership replace them with this product back in May 2015 believing I would be spared the $90 labor expense for quite a long time. Quality LED's do and should last a very long time, the life of the car in fact. They worked great for over 2 years after installation. Now both parts have light elements on them that are flickering and some not working at all. These are suppose to be rated for 30,000 hours. That's 3.4 years of continuous use. They are lucky if they have 2,000 hours total time on them. Since both are failing at the same time, it is not just a bad unit. The product was never exposed to any conditions outside of the normal use of the bulbs they replaced, no excessive heat or liquid moisture, just normal environmental conditions. Their product page warranties them for 3 years. I purchased them in December 2014 so the warranty period in now void. Get some 194 Long Life bulbs, they'll last way longer than these, a solid 5-7 years of normal use. Totally not worth the cost plus shipping and installation and now yet another big bill to remove them. Big disappointment, big fail. This review is not about the purchase experience it is about the product experience. Although the purchase was made 3 years ago it has taken this long to determine the longevity of this product is not even close to what is claimed, unless they have redesigned the product or used better quality components since then. I see nothing on the product page indicating this. My review of their product on their site was never posted and sits in my account in a "parked" state. They only post happy positive reviews and only the negative ones where the purchaser was clearly at fault. They want their reviews to be a echo chamber of how great their products are, any legitimate dissent is not posted as per my turn in their barrel. I can only wonder how many other reviews have been shown the "delete" button. If I had known this when I was looking for replacements, I would never had purchased, and perhaps another customer before me with the same experience was also silenced. I put this review on TrustPilot and Super Bright LED's petitioned them to remove it even after presenting TrustPilot clear documented evidence. I want to warn other potential customers that their product may malfunction or cease to work way before what the seller claims, I believe you have a right to know. You decide.

The worst customer service. I talked with Sean on the phone and explained to him that we were looking for under cabinet lighting. He said he could help us. We had a bid from Metro Lightning and were trying to price shop. I emailed him the bid and the diagram from our kitchen drawn up by our designer. He said he would call me at 6 pm that evening to discuss our project. By 6:30 I hadn t heard from from him so I called and was told he was talking to another customer and would call be back. He never called me back. I have called several times and left messages always being told that he was on another line and would call back. My husband called and left a message for someone else to call and no one ever did. If they didn t want to give us a bid, should have said so up front. Glad we learned about their lack of customer service up front!! We ended up going with Metro.
Horrible to deal with Won't allow you to pick up and takes 5 days before they ship I live 6 miles from them and it will take 8 days for me to get a set of lights from them. I can get same light on eBay delivered in 4 days and that is shipping it from 300 miles away and it's the same price
Excellent product here I've bought complete set to change out all my lights in my freightliner cascadia, shipping is fast and the lights are amazing I can actually see the road and inside my truck now thank you
Not usually one to give 1 start ratings, but I'm on my 3rd set of rock lights from Super Bright LEDs on my Jeep Wrangler in less than 2 years. They were professionally installed. Several shorts in the wiring, lights going out, etc. They are not being abused off road or any type of water, just lights continuing to fail. I won't purchase any more of these.
It is not a resale place.. they only deal with Internet orders.. they have no show room.. you need to go online. . So you cannot see what you need ..only on website..
Horrible customer service! I used the bulb finder on their website to order some license plate bulbs for my car. When I got the bulbs, they were too long to fit and the cover wouldn't go back on the car. I had to return the bulbs. I initiated an RMA on their website and sent the bulbs back to them. Once they were delivered to their facility, I never heard from them so I sent them an email and waited another 2 days until I heard back. They stated they received the bulbs and had issued a refund 2 days prior (it was actually 2 minutes before the human response email was sent to me). When the return finally shows up on my credit card, they charged me for the original shipping (which I don't believe I am responsible for since THEIR bulb finder feature was inaccurate) and charged me a 15% restocking fee (which again I don't believe I am responsible for since THEIR bulb finder was inaccurate). If I had made a mistake when ordering, I would have no problem with this experience, however they are clearly out to rip off anyone ordering from them.
Do not buy anything from this website, I bought a light fixture and they approved the payment and sent me a confirmation email to verify the delivery day, then on the date that I was expecting the product they emailed that they canceled my order, what kinda business is that? Get your products from Amazon its even CHEAPER
purchased the 8 strip with brake integration, paid $400 for install at local Harley Davidson dealer. The lights worked for 4 days and they want me to send them back for a refund, it cost $100 to take off and no consideration of labor for these defective kit. I will no longer buy from this company. I really thought they were a responsible company, but NO DO NOT PURCHASE anything.
I have had a good experience with the products from SBL. I Ordered a set of H9/H11 fanless LEDs and a set of dual color H9/H11 fanless LEDs. Installed easily on my motorcycle and gave me excellent lighting without an awkward beam pattern. The majority of the reviews here seem hot and cold, I recommend researching what you need before purchasing something that isn't quite what you thought it would be.
I have used products from SuperBrightLEDs for over 9 years, and had always received great service until a LED bulb on my car suddenly started to flicker last week after several months of use. Because of the holidays, I immediately ordered a replacement and a spare with expedited delivery, because I didn't want to get pulled over. The faulty bulb was still within its 2-year warranty period, so I contacted SBL after the holidays to see about getting a refund, since I'd already had to purchase a replacement. But they insisted that I return the defective part at my expense, because it was over 30 days old. Clearly it would cost me more to return the small bulb than it cost to replace it, so the "2-year" warranty is essentially useless after 30 days. I guess if I'd lied to them and said it was one of the new ones, they would have paid for it! Other places I deal with pay for the return of any product proven to be defective at any time within the warranty period, if they even want it back (most reputable businesses don't even require the return of a small part from regular customers). So this may be the end of my long dealings with SuperBrightLEDs, since they are no longer the only business selling such items, and they seem to have forgotten what "customer service" means.
absolutely do not recommend this company. a customer of mine had purchased these lights, and had them installed at the shop i work for. the lights worked when the bike left. the customer then had 4 days of them working as they should. this morning, the customer rode in and his lights were extremely dim. all of the modes worked, and the integrated brake light switch worked as well. fuse is not blown, and everything was installed on a 12v system per product spec. spoke with the customer service manager rep, and was told he would be refunded, but only for the product, and not the $400 in labor. and if he wanted the refund for the product, he would have to pay to get them removed to send them back. these are cheap leds for a reason. DO NOT BUY. horrible company, horrible customer service
Wish they would stock the flashers they have on site. Much better and safer solution to buying a resistor. I got my hd led flasher at Nappa, dont buy resistors they get hot!!
One of the items that I ordered from them did not match the description on the website. While they did exchange it, they refused to cover the cost of the shipping to get the item to me on time. They also ignored my request to figure out what was wrong with the listing on that item. Everything else I have ordered from them has been good, but their customer service and quality control is definitely lacking.
This is a great resource for all your LED lighting needs. I order on linen in the morning and choose local pickup for mo shipped fees. My orders are normally ready for pickup in a few hours.
Can t pick up any material. They want to ship it to you. They say it s because covid-19. But I m sure everybody working goes into local stores at sometime now.... The only store in this whole area with this policy. I guess they made a pretty good deal with the shipping company. You ve lost a lot of business from us this year. If we have to have it shipped will go back online like we have been doing since COVID-19 because of your crazy ruling. You won t even set it outside so we can come pick it up. It s kind of mine boggling how UPS is picking it up from you, but we can t pick it up from you. It s a unfortunate thing because we would love to support the local company instead of online businesses...
Bought their aux led motorcycle kit. The harness came pre-wired with 10 feet of heavy, thick cable. Completely useless for a motorcycle. The switch is not flush mounted and requires drilling, again useless. I called the company and they had no alternate harness and they would not issue a refund. Total garbage.
Terrible customer service. I ordered LEDS from here as an overnight service but no where did it state that packages are delayed because of covid. So now I paid almost $30 more than I should have for something that s being delivered 4 days later than expected. I have contacted customer service and they won t do anything about it. If you value your money don t shop here. Completely unprofessional.
Update: After all that below, they shipped me a single light instead of a set. Promised to immediately send the 2nd light when I called that Monday that I got the single light. Had to call back Friday b/c they were radio silent -- to find out they messed up and didn't ship the light. Tracked down a manager that apologized and promised overnight shipping first thing Monday, to arrive Tuesday. No light on Tuesday. Had to call again to get them to finally ship the light.
WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAN THE MOTOR VEHICLES ADMINISTRATION. Ordered low beams from them. Lights failed at ~7 months of use: strobing uncontrollably. Sent the lights in under their warranty with an RMA. Two and a half weeks passed in silence before I reached out. Their reps had trouble finding the RMA and then tried blaming it on how the lights were mailed in (maybe without an RMA or to the wrong address -- unlikely imo). Then their rep wanted to talk to the shop that I bought them from and that mailed the package in but promised to follow up when he confirmed how the box was mailed; I had to call them back to follow up and they claimed they couldn't reach the shop. I've never had a call not answered by my shop in the past 3+ years I've had this car and have been using that shop; not one. Their rep had clearly done nothing. And then at the three week mark I get a package in the mail, no prior notice, with a SINGLE replacement light instead of the SET. Obviously called back in to try to get the second light, the rep said he'd get it sent, but offered no eta on when it would ship or when I would get it. And he couldn't even update the email address on file so that I would get the shipping notification when it does ship. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. BUY FROM ANOTHER COMPANY.
WOW. How refreshing it was to speak with someone who knows what he is talking about. I just spoke with JOSH who was gracious, humble and knowledgeable. It is a good sign when a salesman says, "Hmmm, I dont know the answer to that." Thank you Josh. I appreciate your help.
I bought four G9-Wedge LED blubs to replace the Osram halogen bulbs that light my stove top. Only two of the four bulbs worked. It seems that they wouldn't go all the way into the bulb receptacle. As you can see on the attached pic, the pins on the LED bulbs are not as long (i.e., do not extend as far from the glass) as pins on the halogen bulbs. Since this company doesn't accept returns if the package as been opened, the actual price of my LED bulbs doubled (i.e., I got two bulbs for the price of four)! Next time I'll buy from a local store where I can actually get my money back.
Disappointed, lights came in, paid for install and they only worked once...called customer service to try and work things out, terrible experience. They said they could offer a refund but getting them off the bike would be my own problem to send them back..was really looking forward to these but now im just disappointed and have to find some led lights that actually work and have a proper business to back it up.
I really want to give this company a higher rating for two reasons.The selection, and their website. The website is really easy to use. However, after 2 separate orders, and speaking with customer service I still have bulbs that don't work, if we are talking a dome light no biggie, but I have had to take my dash apart 3 times now, only to end up ordering factory replacement instrument panel bulbs anyway. Granted, we are talking very little money, so I didn't even bother with a refund, but I would just like to see better quality.
Called for help with trying to find programmable RGB chase lights, and the gentleman on the phone basically said what is on the web site is what they have and he doe not know the products well enough to identify what controller I would need. He kept insisting that the strip had the chip for the chase.. when that logic is in the controller. Sad that they could not help, as this is going on my Observatory... and will be a really cool product.
