I ordered a pair of pants from the website which never arrived. I asked for a refund and they said they could not issue one until UPS had approved it. This was 2 months ago! Customer services is bad!
I've placed 3 orders with these folks and everything shipped quickly and completely. Their pricing was almost too good to believe. I purchased a Eureka K2-XT tent and the price was a good 10% less than any other online outlets I could find. Same goes for the North Face down sleeping bags. The follow-up on the order process was good. Overall I'd say these guys deliver what they offer. I'll buy from them again.
Ordered a pair of Danner Vertigo boots in black and got an order confirmation for the brindle color of the boots. I should have looked at the reviews before falling for their Black Friday deals. I am doubtful, after looking at the reviews, that I will even receive the refund.
My purchase was an eagle creek duffle travel bag. I read the review and looked how long this location has been in operations. I weighed the positive and the negative vs the amount of time it has been in business. It has been my experience that this business has been extremey nice when I called them. They were professional and they were very helpful with all my needs. I cant remember the lady name but she was so pleasant and helpful. I inquired about an interesting product before my purchase and she was very imformative. The response in sending my product was extremely fast. My product was exactly what I ordered and exactly what I saw before ordering. To Sunny Sports thank you so much!
Postscript after writing review: Better Business Bureau in New York gives this business an "F" on a scale of A+ to F.
Review: I've previously bought a couple of times from this place and the prices were good and the service was satisfactory. I was looking at their site and saw their "best price" policy that said they would beat someone elses' price by 5%. I filled out the form and submitted with the link to the other site. Since they did not respond promptly, by the time they did respond the sale price had ended at the other site. They declined the price match, which did not bother me, but the way they responded came across as very curt and impersonal. I did some searching - on both their site and externally - to try to identify an owner or manager's name so I could report my experience, but they have done a good job of anonymizing any identities. Combining this experience with other reviews I've seen on the web (example, on Yelp), I can understand how easy it would be to get crossways with Sunny Sports' anonymous "customer service" staff if there was a problem with an order. I don't think I'll take another chance with them.
Should've looked on here first before ordering from them online. If you can skip this place. Bad customer service with a damaged product!
Ordered a Northface jacket for my pops from here. It was priced reasonably. Ordered on the 19th and received it on the 28th. There shipping is atrociously slow. Missed Christmas but my dad liked the jacket until he saw that there was a slit in the sleeve that down feathers were popping out of. My dad is in his 70's and is not climbing rocks or rolling on the ground. He wore it around the house. He's retired. So we initiated a return because there is no way he made that cut himself.
We tried to return it but there returns department would not take it because it "smelled like it was heavily used." What? I called and asked them to clarify. They said it smelled like a person. Ha? I asked them to explain the smell- smoke? Meatballs? Farts? What the heck?That is the strangest reason I have ever received for an unreturnable item.
This is what it boils down to. You may by lured by the cheap cheap prices. Rightfully so. But beware if something ever goes wrong with your order, you are out of luck. It seems like this place can get by on cheap prices because they never take anything back no matter what is wrong with it.
Pay a little more by ordering from a place with good customer service and returns. Lesson learned.

Overall a good experience, shipment is slower than Amazon, REI...but acceptable. Returns was easy and smooth. Ordered a Medium which I wear for everything, but TNF TK100 was too tight, so I returned it. The prices are great.

I purchased a dual-fuel camping stove. I live outside the U.S. so a friend of mine brought me the stove some months after the purchase. The store shipped the wrong item. I cannot use this item because I cannot get the proper fuel in my country, that's why I purchased a dual fuel stove in the first place. The thing is, Sunny Sports would not refund the money and also does not admit their mistake. I would not recommend Sunny Sports.

Hard to forget poor experience. I ordered an in stock item from this store. It says that they will have shipments out within one business day. It took them 6 days. I called to find out what was going on. They told me that the item would ship that day. I asked if they would upgrade my shipping so that I could receive my package in a reasonable amount of time. They would not do that. It has been 8 days and I expect to get my package on the 9th. I decided to purchase my product from this company due to the price and it was the closest vendor. In the end it wasn't worth it and I would've paid more for far better service.
I ordered a pair of euro hiker timberland boots from here and when I open the box boy was I surprised! The toe box of the shoe was fading and the shoe strings weren't even the same size. I do not recommend anyone to shop here!
I don't usually write reviews, but this place is terrible. I ordered a climbing rope online, and they sent me a shipping confirmation. A few days later, I still haven't gotten the rope. I call customer service, they redirect me to UPS customer service, who sent me back to Sunny Sports. Now waiting for a refund... Doubtful it will go through. Do yourself a favor and just spend the extra few dollars and go to Backcountry or Moosejaw or something. What a gip!

Update.. these guys tried to help out and do what they could do for my situation so i changed my rating to 3 star for caring service. I recommend they go with the usps all the way instead of having ups pick up and exchange with the usps for better results.
TERRIBLE COMPANY! Never order anything from them or off their store on Amazon. I ordered a 128 oz. Drinktank from them off Amazon and was sent some Hex 2.0 Chair. Hoping they're at least competent enough to process the correct refund amount considering the chair is half the cost of the Drinktank I intended on receiving. I don't have high hopes after reading their reviews though. Be sure to never order from this company unless you want something random being delivered to you!

This company has great customer service! I ordered a North Face jacket on sale. It was the best price I found for a NF Parka. It came super quick with free shipping. I also ordered a NF fleece but once I received it I realized that I ordered the wrong thing. It was so easy to return and SunnySports actually gives me a label to send it back at no charge. I will be ordering with them in the future!

Ordered online as I was sucked in by the low price. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to ordering. I was in a time crunch for the item for a big trip so paid the high price for fast shipping and selected 3 day shipping. They took two business days to process and send the item after creating the UPS tracking. The delay meant I would NOT receive the item in time. When I tried to cancel my order I was met with awful customer service. They finally did recall the order from UPS and then I was told I would have to wait even longer for a refund. I argued with that and received the refund minus the $20 in shipping. So no item, an awful experience and I'm out $20 for nothing. Be wary.

Complete scam. Ordered a Columbia winter jacket during Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, many other retailers had similar deals. Item was on backorder through Sunny Sports, but was to ship when back in stock. Called several times to get order updates. Almost 2 months later I am being told that they have canceled the order as the item has been discontinued. Its still available on Columbia's website! They also sent the cancelation email to the wrong email address which the customer service representative admitted so how was I supposed to know? AVOID SHOPPING HERE!

First time using Sunny Sports and I can't complain, I highly recommend them! I purchased a new camping tent (Marmot Limelight 4P) online through Sunny Sports after finding them through a random google search. The tent was $50 cheaper than the competitor and $100 off MSRP, I couldn't believe the deal and went ahead with the purchase. I just received the tent -it's brand-new, with all the tags included! Also, I bought online around 2:30PM East Coast time and it shipped the same day - Bought it Tuesday morning, had it Thursday afternoon (Seattle, WA area) with UPS 2nd Day Air delivery. I will definitely be shopping again at Sunny Sports and will be recommending them to all my friends.

They have great sale prices on New items - e.g., 30% off some just released products. Purchased a Mountain Hardwear jacket $220 MSRP for $150 with free shipping. They ship out of the New York area, I believe, so products arrive quickly if you live New England. Will purchase from again.
"Fool me twice, shame on me." I've ordered water bottles for my volleyball team (high school teacher and coach) on this website twice and both times it was a terrible experience. The first time they contacted my a week after ordering informing me that they didn't have the bottles in stock that I had already ordered and paid for, so I had to alter my order and get water bottles that I didn't want. So I figured that maybe I should give them a second chance. Big mistake. I ordered and one week later got no updates about the order. I checked our checking account; the sale never posted even though I received a confirmation for the order. Then I tried to call them to find out what was going on. The automated system ran me around in circles and I never got to speak to a person and the system disconnected the call. NEVER AGAIN.
Terrible customer service. After returning a sleeping bag several months ago I have yet to receive my money back despite following up several times a week. At this point they have been withholding more than $200 for several months. Every time I call they provide an excuse about what they are doing to try to fix the problem. Usually they promise to follow up with me to let me know what's going on but have never followed through with that promise. I will be filing a complaint with the bureau of consumer protection
Do yourself a favor, pay a little more for better service. Don t bother with the price matching either / it will take a week, it s a scam and it s dishonest.
