Magical is the best way to describe the OCF. I hop...
Magical is the best way to describe the OCF. I hope to attend every year!

Magical modern hippie funk, Way too much to do for a 3 day festival but you will meet the nicest and coolest people you will ever see in this place. It ls truley a magic land full of love and acceptance
Best place in the world! I have been going since 2000 and I hope someone takes me when I'm 109.............
Our first country fair and not our last! Even our 5 month old loved it. It's crowded, loud, hot and dusty, but the magic and atmosphere made it all worth it. Where else can you find fairies and centaurs and that many joyful people?
It's a hippie barter fair,or at least used to be. Now it's all about the money.
First time I have attended-50th anniversary. A must do on your bucket list. Fun, unique and very busy-but well run!
It's like being back in Woodstock. The nicest people the most fun atmosphere a truly great experience. Don't come to Portland at this time of year and not go to ocf. It's really that magnificent.
The fair is in the forest the real world. What a wonderful place.
This is our first time out here and we love it a lot we will be back in two yrs to see this again this was excellent to come out to see this from east coast
Great place if you like the smell of body odor and marijuana
This is a great colourful and adventurous experience. Maybe not for everyone but if you are brave enough to go, you will have a great time.
Wow what a blast! I hear that they are going to be selling Weedman hats for $20.00. How kool is that? Even in pink for the ladies. Yeah that's what I am sayin'!
you know in Spirited Away when Chihiro begins to meet the spirits outside the bath house after yelling for her parents to stop eating like pigs, then she has to enter the bathhouse because it's past sundown and the connection between the spirit world and human world gets broken? Well, when Chihiro enters the new realm, that's what it's like when the date fair starts. The magic pushes you through the doors and shows you around. Then when 7pm hits, the workers come out of their origins and into the deep colors of the night for a cleanse, entanglement, or something speechless. Except the experience of fair goes beyond any description. Each year has it's own being, and it'll breath how it needs to, but to have an expectation for fair would be a silly way to go about it.

I grew up going to the Country Fair even before Budweiser bought it it started getting strange and not in the good way this is definitely not the hippie Festival I grew up with it sucks and it's overpriced and what made it fun back then isn't even available at the fair now
Loved it place is awesome everybody very friendly and all the vendors were amazing
Always so much dusty fun! Amazingly well organized for such a huge, diverse, temporary festival.
Glorious food, wonderful music, vaudeville entertainers, activism, and a surprise around every corner.
It's a unique northwest experience. Everyone interested should go at least once.
We all ways have the best time .. Wish it was more then 3days.. But we love it its like being home again
A magical place filled with friendly, happy people. Located in connected open areas in the Veneta woods. Clothed and naked people are all welcomed. The whimsical sites and vendors are amazing! Live music and dancing, people in body paint, feathers and costumes are fantastic. The food is good, the booths are incredible and everyone has a smile on their face. Come try it out and you'll be back!

The Country fair is always a wonderful experience. I would like to see them use more water though to keep the excessive dust down.
Had a great time, super hot but that's to be expected. If you get a chance check it out.
Great fair, one of the largest fairs I've been too. Lots of music and homemade art and food. Bring plenty of cash, because stuff can get expensive and almost no one takes card or mobile payments.
Not so special, went last time. Just a waste of money and time. Dates are also incorrect for this year.
This was a hot and crowded outdoor mall full of hippie stuff I could get on line and avoid the crowds. I can not express how disapointly crowded it was. It really took away from the experience. Maybe they could extend it a day and limit the number of people per day.
Best exercise in temporary community in the country, 50 years strong. Fine juried arts, crafts, live music, great food... July 12,13,14th 2019
First thing that comes to mind is "Happiness ". Everyone was so friendly. I was overjoyed with the feeling of acceptance. There were people I met there from all over the world. I never had a fret or a fear the whole time I was there. Almost like for a day there were no problems in the world. Last time I went I was 16, that was over 40 years ago, and the only difference was a lot more people to meet.
Go for the people watching. Stay for the music, food, shopping. Everyone is there to have a good time...it's contagious!
5+ stars for the art, creativity and performers, and minus stars for the obvious commercialization that has happened to this event.
This place has changed my life many times over again. Home.
I love the Oregon Country Fair. I enjoy the Main stage music very much. The Fair people are dedicated and awesome. I hope to go to the fair this year. David Peltier, Waldport, Oregon 5/25/13
Hard to put into words what OCF is, but the most fitting word is magical. A beautiful place filled with beautiful people and an experience unlike anything out there. Highly recommend attending
Love the fairgrounds. It's beautiful during the off season too. Great atmosphere and great people.
It was crazy in all the best and worst ways. It was sunny and hot, but they had mist stations along the way. The sheer amount of stages and events prevents you from seeing everything you want to, but almost everywhere you turn there are people and performers there to entertain. Food is amazing. The stages and lanes were clogged to capacity and beyond! More water dusting of the road was needed. The staff are friendly and helpful!
Way cooler and more mellow than I expected. Family friendly, fairy friendly; all around fun with lots of shady trees and live music!
This was our second year there and there's never a dull moment!
Adult disneyland on a whole new level. So much fun. On my 5th year a still havent seen it all. Very skilled craftmenship. Bring your pocketbook.
An experience of a lifetime! The peaceful & easy feeling of the joy of life was magic!
Great people, great food, great performances, and amazing art.
Probably the most exciting event I can attend my entire life. Definitely a Bucket List for everyone
Magical, and I don't use that word to describe real things often.
I love going here every summer. It's a great and positive experience that is fun for the whole family. They have live music fresh food and lots of things to purchase from local vendors, but I think the best part is the community surrounding the fair. After all, it's called fair family for a reason.
Where love is always welcome and a free soul can let loose.
Oregon Country Fair
Great time at the fair with my family and friends. The parking lot was well organized by volunteers
The food was delicious and moderately expensive
The entertainment was unbelievable to say the least
Naked want-to-be hippies
Bands, talks, and parades.
Crafts and accessories galore.
This is an amazing place. A secret wonderland. Take water and snacks.
A tradition for our family. Music, acrobatics, art, crafts, food, and treats. If you have not been make it a point to come celebrate life with us!
We have been dying to go for years, and finally FINALLY, we went. It was a beautiful experience. Fully of people, things to look at, and overall just a great time. We spent the day Saturday exploring, and talking with new people. We will be back next year!
Nothing but a green field right now. Maybe next year.
I can't stress enough how cool this place is. Nothing like it. Amazing! Psychedelic for days! Very very trippy and fun and you never know we will see here that's for sure. If you've never gone please do yourself a favor and go this year. It's really really one-of-a-kind. It's like a mom-and-pop Disneyland on psychedelics and even if you're straight or sober it doesn't have anything to do with it it's still a psychedelic experience haha very very fun so much food so many cool people in costumes
Bro I love the Oregon Country Fair, I loved going as a kid and plan on going this year too.
This was my first time here and i will say, if you have never been... it is a MUST go see. Tons of things to do, hulu hoops, couple yoga, amazing foods, TONS of music... there was always something going on and the folks that came out... they were a site unto themselves... I will have plenty to post of the pics i took... hope you enjoy
After 33 fairs, I am clearly biased, but there has gotta be a reason I keep going back, right? Too many to count. But I can show you some pictures.
