They sold me a used car with a bad clutch, which I brought to their attention 2 days after purchase and they refuse to replace the clutch. Now I AM STUCK HAVING TO PAY 1700.00 TO REPLACE THIS ITEM AFTER PAYING 23600.00 FOR THE VEHICLE. ALSO WAS ALOWED TO DRIVE THE VEHICLE HOME WITHOUT THEM PERFORMING SAFETY INSPECTION. RIP OFF ARTISTS WORK AT SUNTOYOTA.

I dealt with Eddie Chavez and he was great to work with and was extremely helpful. By far the best car buying experience I ve ever had.

On Dec 31 we happened in to Sun Toyota in Holiday, Florida. Our salesman John Pobzeznik couldn t have been more accommodating. Not only was he knowledgeable but personable and professional. My husband and I bought a 2019 brand new Jeep 6 months ago, only get to use it for 2 weeks, it overheated first, and then broke down the same day we picked it up. It had 3 warranties and in result the Jeep is still in the shop, sun Toyota has terrible costumer service and they turned their backs on us when we needed it. I m warning you, I don t even drive the Jeep and I m paying 700 for it each month and now dept of 45,000. If there was anything worse that a 1 star review I would rate it, be careful around Mr. T

I've purchased 2 vehicles this summer from Pat Hayes. Simply put, he is upfront and straight forward and a man of his word. He is very easy to deal with and truly wants you to be happy with your purchase, even months after the sale. He has been in the business a long time and loves it. As for Sun Toyota overall, I've been doing business with them since late 2005 and have been quite satisfied every time.

Went for oil change. These high school dropouts running cars locked car keys inside. Lost 20 minutes to watch them trying to open the door. They brought my car back after service left plastic paper water bottle. Had to clean it up. They forget to put sticker on the windshield but did change oil I checked just in case. Couple years ago they broke off windshield washer container cap. Last year they forget to put valves caps after tire rotation so today wasn't that bad

My 1995 Camry XLE is a sentimental asset & the Service Manager & Technician listened to what was and wasn't happening to my car..... They diagnosed the problem and fixed it to keep me running.... Kudos...

I absolutely love sun Toyota, My salesman Leroy was the best. He made sure that my family and I were well taken care of. I got a certified pre-owned Ram 1500 big horn 4X4 and Leroy did not once try to push me to a Toyota. I would definitely recommend sun Toyota to any of my friends and family. I had been searching for over a week for a 2018 vehicle. I visited all dealers from New Port Richey to Wesley Chapel. I was searching for a "reasonably" priced SUV. I was a Pilot customer for the past 6 yrs. On a whim I stopped at Sun Toyota-not expecting to get a 4 Runner. Wayne and Carlos took care of me. Wayne listened to the research I had done and was determined to get me a good deal so I wouldn't go back to get the new Pilot I was intended on getting, the next day. With the help of the GM (Sorry forgot his name), Wayne and the finance manager Assan (hope I spelled that correctly) I walked out of Sun Toyota with a new 2018 4 Runner 4x4 Silver. Years ago my wife and I were loyal Toyota customers with a combined at least 6 Toyota's in the past. Looks like we are now back with Sun Toyota and I couldn't be happier with the service Wayne provided. Today-12/28/17-I spoke to my brother who is going in to see Wayne tomorrow about a Tacoma. Call sun Toyota about the new vans that they had for half price payments found out we do not qualify however that being said we came home and Chris Cunningham called us and asked if there was any way he could help us get into our new van so I told him what we needed and what I could afford to pay and he said let me work on it while and see if we can't take care of this we came down we talk to Nael I told him what we could do what we couldn't do and how much we can afford to pay on a monthly basis and he tried working numbers and just couldn't work the numbers to our satisfaction we came home and we're sitting here when the telephone rang and it was Chris Cunningham said that he would do everything in his power to make sure we get into a new Toyota van however not wanting to put any money out of pocket he just couldn't make the numbers work so I called him back and said well what if I put $1000 down can we stay within my limit of $600 he said let me work the numbers he call me back and he said yes we can do that and will keep it under $600 .and to my surprise he did. I just can't say enough about how great your staff is NAEl is the consummate sales person he had a great personality and a great smile and made us feel like we were the most important people in the show room he then introduced us to chase and after about 25 minutes we got to go back into the office and sign all the paperwork Chase was phenomenal his his attitude is personality put us at ease with the exception of having writers cramp after signing all the documents and kind of laughing about it I told him it was worse in signing my indoctrination papers for the military I also thanked him for his service and he thanked me for I will not hesitate in the future to ensure that I tell all of my friends and relatives of the great service and sales at Sun Toyota I want you to know that this is the second car we have purchased at your dealership I want to thank you for having these people as part of your staff thank you again and God bless

Came in to look at a specific truck priced at $23k. Was told it was gone and while walking the lot to look at another truck we saw it on the lot. Then was told it was going to auction because the milage was too high for them to sell. After making it clear our budget was around $25k max they assured us they could get us into a new vehicle for about the same price. Came back with a $42k price. Not even close to what we were looking for. They kept trying to push and push us into a cheaper vehicle that was still way above what we were looking for. Asked them why I can t even look at the one we came in for. Was told because it was too high of mileage they would have to sell as is and that could cause their google reviews to be damaged if something went wrong. I did not care if its as is and do tons of my own maintenance anyway. Said well of you are auctioning it off why not let me put an offer in for less then the advertised price. They scoffed at the idea I would get it for less. You are not going to get $23k at an auction. Maybe $15 max. I was ready to easily pay $21k as is no questions asked. But they refused to even acknowledge that and kept pushing a new vehicle on us for insane amounts we did not want to spend just to save their Google reviews. They get a bad review just for wasting our time.

I had the worse experience in my life at Sun toyota, I have been insulted and humiliated by one of their ignorant sales managers,who was. So rude and unprofessional, I contacted the general manager john mazzari as the matter was big and extremely humiliating, a week later he or anyone for that matter never bothered to call or write back, not to mention that the $25 gift card, they refused to give me any forms or any thing to get that as soon as the sales rep saw that my credit is not good enough, even though it was supposed to be given regardless, so to me it was a scam, I will never recommend them to anyone.

They promised a car wash at purchase then because I had a handicap ramp on back they wanted to charge me $20 . They took up almost a whole day to purchase my car and it was dirty They said it had been detailed it hadn't just driven thru their car wash grease was on the. Steering wheel and stains on other areas inside and out. Do not buy they are liar's and Hustler's.

All the staff members went out of their way to make this experience as laid back as possible. So not the normal high tension wait for the interminable walk back and forth, back and forth to get the right deal. They listen to your requests and work within that framework.All done with a smile. You are surprised when they announce your car is waiting for you because you don't even realize the deal is through. Wonderful car buying experience

Our first experience there was two years ago and have recommended my family and friends to go there. This time we dealt with Nicholas Nardello, he was very knowledgeable in all the different trim levels we asked about. You could tell he actually took the time to learn the small differences. It made a huge difference. He made sure whatever questions we asked if he didn't know the answer he found someone who did know (financing/insurance questions). He took the time we needed to show us whatever vehicles we wanted to go see. Nicholas was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him. The sales manager that made a difference also was Paul. He came over and made the best deal he could and it was good enough to close the deal. He also knew how to help with the negative equity I was carrying over from my trade in. Tiffany the finance manager did a great job as well. I would recommend Sun Toyota and intend to use them again in the future.

We spoke to Jason Bulluck, and he was immediately warm and helpful. We explained what we were looking into, and Jason patiently went on multiple test drives with us without ever being aggressive about the sale.
We spent quite a while at the dealership looking at cars and then working with Jason and Brad to get the vehicle we chose down to a payment that was manageable, and Jason even stayed after closing for us to get all of our paperwork through and get the car to detailing. He stayed positive and smiling the entire time, and gave the feeling that he was really on our side trying to get the best deal for us.
He even called a few days later to see how things were going, and happily took extra questions that I had.
Jason really provided an awesome experience that I would definitely recommend to anyone car shopping.

I've gone here a few times giving their service dept benefit of the doubt. But quite frankly, they are WAY overpriced. $1,700 for a new clutch is ludicrous. Especially when he didn't sound prepared to answer my questions about the condition the master cylinder or fly wheel. What if it was more than just the clutch that needed replacing? I just felt like I was expected to just accept what i was being told without question. To top it all off the guy tried to sell me air conditioning sanitizing?

Everyone was very friendly and attentive though, so if you don't mind paying extra and want your AC sanitized, this is the place to go.

Went to Sun Toyota in Holiday, Fl. for my yearly checkup. I had NO complaints, only wanted a yearly checkup. I bought My Toyota Avalon there in 2009. Loyal customer since 2009. I trusted them to care for my car until NOW! Remember, I had no complaints! Well after charging me almost $2,000.00 for so called repairs, I heard a strange humming from under my car, I turned my steering wheel left and right and the humming got worse. Worried I went to a local repair shop to have it checked out. The local mechanic said I was low on transmission fluid, and put more in. He asked if I had an oil leak, I didn't know because I never looked under my car. Got home and checked, I had PUDDLES of oil on my garage floor. This was less than 2 months since Sun Toyota had completed my checkup. Now they have my car to fix it. Mr. A Roche called me said, ("Everything looks FINE", "I cleaned up the extra oil!" "I drove it and sounds great!" ) HELLO! He forgot the whole story! and why he even had my car. I asked him if he had my records there and when I repeated my story again, he said "oh now I understand!... WHAT!
STILL WAITING FOR CALL BACK ITS NOW 10:30 AM NEXT DAY AND NO CALL.
11:30 am Mr. Roche finally called, said, "No Leaks! I'm going to drive it around I see how it feels" Nothing about the pull to the left when breaking, and nothing about replacing the valve, As his manager John Mendonca had originally said they would do.

Very poor response.. I selected one vehicle and suddenly they mentioned that vehicle went for cleaning and will take time. They promised me to call next day and one week passed by but no call from them. Look like they don't worry of business at all. Will not recommend to anyone to go there...

My Aunt purchased a used prius in Nov 2016.
She had her credit union send a check to Sun Toyota to pay for car in full. The slick salesman brought the car to her with paperwork to sign. The slick salesperson had her sign to go with a new loan company WITHOUT HER KNOWLEDGE. He must be compensated by Grow Financial. The car was dirty, the 160 point check was completed in September by incompetent mechanics, they didn't even check the Navigation system or the key fob. Battery did not work. Key was missing the door key. Navigation had previous owner information. So many things are wrong with this sale. My Aunt was exploited by this Unethical Company. Go to any Toyota Dealer, but Run from Sun. That should be their marketing slogan. RUN FROM SUN.

Totally disappointed with sun toyota. On 7/31/19 we traded in our 2017 Rav4 for a 2019 Rav. While speaking to Robert Coleman, the finance person, he advised us we should not have paid for a service we recently had done on the 2017 rav. He told us to bring in the receipt and he would take care of it. We tried to call him numerous times with no response from him. We then called the salesman, Gary Jarrod, who also promised to take care of this. It is now one month later and we still HAVE NOT been reimbursed. All they care about is making the sale and not caring about customer service. We are loyal toyota customers but we will not be purchasing another auto from this dealership . I would definately not recommend this dealer to anyone.

Beware....Sun Toyota service department recommends items that are not needed. I went to have an oil change and made a appointment, but it still took 2 1/2 hours to complete. When I was called back to pickup my car it was recommended we pay for a battery cleaning due to battery corrosion, upon me inspecting the battery there was no corrosion on it. When I asked the person at Sun Toyota about why this was recommended to me I was told the technician cleaned it off already and that oh by the way they also broke my windshield wipers so they replaced those as well. I said if the tech cleaned the battery why would they clean it then ask for payment for a service after the fact. They had no answer for me on this. I really feel the staff there is not being honest with customers which in my opinion is no way to do business.

I first went to another dealership, not saying any names, but I wasn t very happy. I then drove 50 miles in the opposite way from this dealership, and I end up at Sun Toyota and found myself in quite a really extravagant best kept secret for Toyota. Service was exceptional, staff was awesome, polite, and extremely nice. Thank goodness for the honesty that Greg Gamble, assistant manager, was honest with me, and let me know that my car was not due for an oil change, when he looked it up. Unlike the other dealership who was ready to take my money and change my oil for $30 more then this dealership would have done it for and didn t. Let me know if they could do anything else for me, then gave me his card, and I then had my tires rotated. Excellent service quick turnaround, and the best that can be expected. I highly recommend

I was "encouraged" to come visit the dealership to get the deal done, because the "internet department threshold" had been reached. I was told that "my business wouldn't be lost over a few dollars" and that I should come in "as my best negotiating chip is being here in person."

If you hear these same lines, you'll likely end up wasting your time. It's unfortunate that Sun Toyota doesn't value the customer's time.

Lesson learned. Hopefully this review will help others.

I was very impressed with Sun Toyota. They listened to my needs and found me the best vehicle for me. The financial department also did a great job. Wayne was very informative about my vehicle and showed me everything.

I was there for my vehicles 10,000 mile check. When I called they were able to see me that day. I was early for my appointment and they were able to do the service early as well. The woman who checked me in was one of the most pleasant people I have dealt with at Sun Toyota. All in all, the visit was professional, courteous, thorough and fast.

My husband bought a car from here. The service shop is great although slower than most dealerships. We were told if we referred someone who bought a car we would get a $200 referral fee. So we did. 16 months ago. And even though we went in to the place numerous times to ask about it, we were given no answers and given the run-around. The sales person nor anyone else would give us answers. We're still waiting on that referral fee but at this point, I don't think we'll get it. So steer clear. They make promises they don't keep.

I give my service man, Joe Koenn, 5 stars. He is friendly, courteous and helpful.

Bad Communication - Not Trustworthy

Came here with my friend today to buy a 2021 TOYOTA RAV 4 that has been negotiated online . We were assured that the car was in stock and even ran a credit check.

We drove for two hours only to be told Ina casual manner that it was already sold and the sales manager is too busy to look for other options. Even asked for a deposit to see a car next time. We weren't even told about any deposit initially.

Never doing business with them.

He was the epitome of the perfect salesperson: professional; courteous; personable; knowledgeable; listened to my wants, needs, and concerns; transparent; efficient; informative. Need I say more?! Once I met with my finance person, Courtney, the process continued to cruise along at a wonderful pace. He, too, was phenomenal. I had a bad experience with Sun Toyota...I'm going to start by saying Marcus Casanova was very patient and understanding, I give him a 5-star, but the finance department I wasn't pleased at all. They approved me for a car, I drove off the lot with it, and to turn around and they tell me I have to give the car back that was devastating to me. I had this car for about 3 weeks getting use to it and have to turn around and give it back, that's bad business. I am not happy with Sun Toyota at all. I will do business else where. Now I will be driving a new NISSAN thank you....

I had the worst experience here this evening February 25, 2020. I would not and will not recommend this dealership and their employees to anyone looking to buy their first car. They made a special moment for me, a horrible memory. Apart of salesmanship is being truthful, and caring about your customer and their concerns.

Omar was my salesman, he was by far the best one I have ever dealt with, went above and beyond, even surprised me with the car I wanted! Did everything he could to make sure I got out of the car that I had, kept me up to date about everything going on, made sure my grandma was comfortable and understood what was going on. I'm beyond happy with my new Camry. Best dealership to go to, they treat you like family!

Bought car as is but didnt know they didnt clean it at least... i bought the car with it looking like this. Didnt know til i pulled the arm rest down... also tail lights out... i was in a rush and just took the car definitely inspect the cars before buying.

I bought a used Prius today and had the BEST experience ever in my life! Patrick Browning went out in this heat to go find the car I saw online and any other that might fit my budget. He let me stay inside in the air until time for the test drive. He was super considerate of my walking with a cane. Tray Bournazian worked his magic to get me approved at a bank. He kept reassuring me that he was going to get this done even though I had credit issues. And he DID!! Those two gentlemen kept reassuring me they would get this done for me! They were super nice! They made feel like family! I then went to see Robert Coleman who made paperwork signing fun. It is 98% electronic. I cannot thank you all enough!!! I would give 10 stars if I could!! I am now a lifetime customer of Sun Toyota!!

We purchased a 2020 pearl Camry with the assistance of Steve Niedig. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very nice! Steve even stayed after with us to show us all the features of the new car. He helped make our car buying experience really great!

Although I completely appreciate the service advisors for all of their assistance over the years, I am NOT happy with the work of the technicians. I had all 4 of my tires replaced on July 20, 2016 as part of the tires for life program. I had to return today, August 7, 2016, because I had one missing lug nut and another that I was able to turn with my fingers. Luckily for me, I heard a hum/grind coming from the right side of my car and thought to check the lug nuts. If I hadn't heard it, I would have most likely had the tire come off while driving since it was on the back right side. During my prior visit, Michael was very kind and helpful. Today, Greg couldn't apologize enough for my troubles. Again - the service advisors are top notch and can not be blamed for the sloppiness of the technicians in the garage. It's sad that I will never purchase another Toyota again because I don't feel safe after having simple repairs or service done to my car.

From our sales person, Saul Grosfeld to my formerly known as RED Team Service Adviser and assistant Service Manager, Greg Gamble, my experiences have all been excellent. Greg has been my service advisor for almost 20 years now, he's been with Sun Toyota for 24 years, that says a lot about his character and integrity. With consistent and great customer service, why would I go any where else?
