Patrick stayed in touch with me on a vehicle we found online. He even sent me video. I had my doubts on getting qualified because I was upside down on my vehicle. He assured me they could get me financed or he would give me money back for gas and time. I traveled from Lakeland. Well he put my doubts on ease and I walked out with the exact vehicle I wanted at the payments I wanted!! Highly recommended!!

I would like to commend the overall professionalism of the Sun Toyota dealership team (Paul DeRosa, Robert Coleman and Nick Nardello) who participated in the lease of a new Toyota Camry.
However, I especially desire to commend Nick Nardello. Many months before the lease of my Toyota Avalon was due to expire in November 2018, Nick touched base to inquire about my intentions and to see if he could be of service. Periodically Nick followed up with me in a very helpful proactive, but not pushy manner. From time to time, he would point out that there were some dealership specials that month and occasionally just touched base. When I finally visited the dealership on Feb. 8 (I extended my lease for three months to Feb. 16, 2019), Nick was the consummate professional, very helpful with all my questions and concerns. Even when the new vehicle experienced some system flaws, Nick kept me fully informed on the progress as it went through the service department. Thanks!!!

My husband and I purchased a Rav4 several years ago from Sun Toyota and we were looking to trade it in for a new model, so we went back to Sun Toyota to see what they would offer us. Christina was our sales advisor and she was great from start to finish - very friendly, personable, and had our best interest at heart. We also worked with Tray on the front end of the deal and he was great to work with, very professional, knowledge and got us the deal we wanted. Perfect! I saw my dream car (BMW Z4) online at Sun Toyota's used car dealership. Decided to take a drive "Just to see it". It was immaculate, I test drove it, fell in love, and bought it. The price was just below KBB, I got no high pressure sales tactics and when I pointed out an issue with the windshield (was missing some weather stripping) they replaced the whole windshield with a brand new one. Best experience I've had with a car dealership!
I live almost 300 miles away and bought a brand new Tacoma from the Hamdens, best deal in FL, shopped top to bottom coast to coast. Excellent service even held the car till the weekend for pickup!
This dealer was rating 5 for me but they have change so much. They are liars I waste my time twice with them. They offered you a lot of stuff and when you go and sit with them it is the opposite. The first time I was in the phone with them and one of their representative was calling me to trade in my car for a new one. The representative told me that they were under new administration and that they were giving a lot of great deals. I told him that I was no doing it because I didn't want to go upside down on my car payments, etc. The representative told me that they were going to help and that was not going to happen "We'll take of that " he said. I went to the Toyota in person and everything was the opposite and I explained to the my conversation with the representative and gave them the name and everything and they told me that the didn't have a person with the name working for them. Which my phone registered the number and it says clearly sun toyota. I asked to speak to a Manager and John the financing manager came over and he wants to me to switch from a Toyota Venza to a Corolla for the same monthly payment and the only thing he can do was lower my interest to help my payment but still was a lot. I asked to speak to another higher manager and they told me that typical speech they are in a meeting. They gave me their phone number, I called every single manager in that dealer and they never returned my phone calls. Mario Ruiz was the guys "helping" me and he told me to come back in a couple of months and I wait longer than a couple months. Today I walking again and asked for him Mario Ruiz and he didn't even help me or asked me. He just gave me a straight No. That he was not going to help me and I told him you are not even trying and He gave me another No. What kind of employees/managers this place have. Honestly, I prefer to go somewhere else now than this place, they are just about money and forget about the clients. They are selling you dream and not the really deals that they are offering their client. Their services and customer care sucks.

I went in for my 2017 Tundra for it's scheduled maintenance. Lance Johnson was my service adviser. Lance was very informative and patient, when I got upset that my alarm didn't work when I picked up my truck Lance first told me they noticed it didn't work when I brought it in. I was let's say not happy. Lance took my truck straight back to get looked at, came back and told me they were going to take care of it and they did. Lance was very professional and polite the whole time even when I was upset. He defused the situation. He not only fixed the alarm problem but I had a small scratch on one of my fender flairs that I did myself and was angry at myself about. Lance came out with some stuff I think it was called scratch off. Now you can't even find where I scratched it. Lance made my visit a positive experience. Sun Toyota is very Blessed to have employees like Lance. This is why I only go to Sun Toyota to get my truck worked on. I hope to have Lance as my service adviser every time I go back. I found the dealership to be knowledgeable and courteous. Even though I didn t purchase there it wasn t for Sun Toyota s lack of effort. They offered a good deal and great financing but I choose another vehicle.
Today I was looking at 2 cars. One sold on the lot as I was asking about it and the other one I felt out of my comfort zone. I am a firm believer in if it s meant to be it will be, and the car that I bought is just amazing. I honestly think it was meant to be. My salesman was just unbelievable. He understood what I needed and got me to it. He worked to get me the car I wanted in the price I could afford. The sales and service was outstanding. we will return here to get my husband and daughter a car when the time comes. Highly recommend it!!!

Sun Toyota did a great job repairing my vehicle this week. The hours are convenient since they are open 7 days a week and I can schedule online. The service manager (Gregory) was on-the-ball since he located a possible recall for the issue my car was having. Toyota covered it 100%. They offered a courtesy vehicle, shuttle service or I could have tried to wait for the repair. The lounge was up-to-date with access to a grill, free coffee and large tvs while I waited. I relaxed before going home for the day and picked up my vehicle next day. Great job Sun Toyota and thanks for the extras.
I find shopping for a car to be one of the most stressful things to do. I've had horrific experiences with other Florida dealers who make the experience a nightmare. At Sun Toyota, my husband and I each purchased a car. Sebastian and Kevin were awesome salesmen - I was comfortable with both immediately after meeting. Their knowledge of the cars, helpfulness in answering all my questions, and offering alternatives that I didn't even think of helped to make the process one of the smoothest I've ever had. I ve bought two other cars from sun toyota but my most recent experience was the best. Quick and easy. My sales guy Nick N. was awesome, so knowledgeable no BS just showed me what I wanted see and worked out a couple options for financing. Met the manager in passing Farris, he was super nice and made sure everything was flowing. Would highly recommend even more than before.
The canned reply they sent below was lip service and BS. You did not send any information to your 'manager' nor do you care about one customers experience. I emailed you per the request and no one has contacted me or even acknowledged my comments.
Toyota the brand is great. This dealership - not so much! 1 - We were lied to during finalizing brand new truck purchase about warranty coverage. Found out when trying to get this 'covered service' just months later. 2 - Another incident - getting factory defected part in cab replaced resulted in damaged dashboard. They dropped some paint on the dash to attempt to cover the gouge. 3 - Their car wash / wax service is extremely bad. The techs sprayed grease / oil all over the wheel wells and side steps (possible tire shine?). We had to wash the truck again once home. It took over an hour to clean up the mess. Wax all over the mud flaps - still not able to get this off months later.
I wound NOT recommend buying or servicing your vehicle here. My vehicle is less than a year old and I took it back to Toyota to get it serviced by a Toyota certified technicians and they didn't tighten the oil cap on when they change my oil and all the oil drained out of my vehicle while driving and my power steering went off right in the middle of 19 let alone the damage it did to my engine. They advertise with "ask me why Toyota certified technicians matter?" They don't. My brother could change the oil and put the oil cap back on correctly when he was 16. I would not trust them with my safety or the integrity of my new vehicle. I did discuss my issue with the service manager whose response was "oh well we all make mistakes" and did nothing to make it right, just tried to make the issue sound like not a big deal.
To make a long story short. I attempted to upgrade my 2016 toyota carola to a 2017 toyota Carola using the customer loyalty program. Ive been called in 3 times. By salesmen to complete the deal. On the 4th time They offered me a 3.6 percenage rate, i thaught my persiatance had paid off, boy was I wrong. The salesman, alli can say is he did his job. When i went back to finance the price went up. "Surprise " well reluctantly I signed the deal. Took the car. And was happy with the deal. Well 2 weeks latet i get a call saying ineed to come in and sign some paperwork. I attempted toy call the dealership to speak to financing, but after 14 phone calls ,nobody would speak to me. Finely the next day I spoke with the business manager and he informed me that they could not get financing I need to put another 2grand down. This was totally unacceptable seeing how it was s not part of the agreement. And they were not willing to make this work. So i got my trade in back told them what i thaught of thier business model. I've heard bad things about this dealership, but was told it was under new management. If this is better I would have hated to see it then
I feel that my salesman was very good at his job he made me feel comfortable when I became nervous about my whole deal. Gabriel made sure I got the car I wanted he searched for the one I wanted till he found it for me.
Great process from start to finish. There are a lot of moving pieces but they tie them in flawlessly. Management, Sales and Service department are top notch. All of this work was done within a week of purchase and could not be happier!
On July 28th, 2018 I had the pleasure to meet and work with Amber. I mentally prepared for a HIGH pressure sales pitch, but to my surprise it was not.
Amber treated me like a welcome guest.....offering beverages and answering questions (her product knowledge is impressive). The entire experience was smooth from beginning to end.
Everyone I interacted wiith at Sun Toyota was professional, polite and helpful. I walked in anticipating on buying a 2016 pre-owned Highlander Limited advertised vehicle and left with a brand new 2018 Highlander Limited with more equipment and features. The best part.....for only a few dollars (3K) more.
My experience with my sales man, Brandon was Perfect from start to finish. I am in sales and I treat my customers as they should be treated, with patience, respect and understanding by listening! Brandon is an impeccable sales man and a breathe of fresh air as well. He is truly an asset to not just this location, but to your company as a whole. The finance manager was very comfortable to work with as well with no pressures. My experience here at Sun Toyota was a world of difference from 6 years ago with the old owners!! GREAT COME BACK!
This Toyota Dealer never takes appointments for services seriously. I was treated like a regular walk-in customers for oil change since when I arrived, no one was asking me if I have an appointment or not. It always takes me more than 2 hours to get the services done. They also had coupon for in n out car washing. When I got the car back, everything was still the same. Nothing was cleaned (tons of dirt were still inside my carpet, bird poops are still on the hoods and my car, and lots of bugs were still on the bumpers of my car). One more thing is that when I gave them my car for service, they told me to wait in the lobby for shuttle and someone would tell me when the shuttle's ready. About 1hr waiting hour, I asked them if there was a shuttle to pick me up, they said that it was my fault for now showing up at picking up area and they were waiting for me. This dealer is so lame. They would consider to improve more on their service.
Unless someone has a truly sadistic side to them, the thought of buying a car can turn a person's stomach because of the anxiety associated with the process. So how many times in a person's life can they say that the car buying experience was something that was an absolute pleasure. Well, thanks to Ben Miles and Eddie Chavez at Sun Toyota, even with the built in and unavoidable Covid inconveniences, my whole family was left with a lasting feeling that you only get when you interact with truly wonderful human beings. I can not find enough deeply heartfelt superlatives to express the warmth that we all felt at every turn and my gratitude to them on so many levels will stay with me. I hope that everyone finds their way to these men so that they too can feel that unexpectedly surreal feeling that will certainly come as a result of these two exceptional people at Sun Toyota that I absolutely consider friends.
I just bought a 2015 tundra and couldn't be happier. Ask for Frank this guy will make car buying experience easy. He knows his stuff and was a great person to work with. The rest of the employees where nice as well everyone makes you feel appreciated. All around great dealership experience and I could be happier with my purchase. Certified pre owned..yeah right Jiffy Lube do better inspections before they leave the shop than this place... Left with a regulator in the window that was bad come to find out and my mom left the lot with a car with only 13000 miles and some how the dry rotted rear wiper blade passed there inspection.. If you get a vehicle from here defintly Check it over because they obviously have very low standards at this location and will try to get you to make a appointment to pay to fix what a simple inspection would of covered. I will not buy or recommend anyone to go here

World class service at this Toyota dealership. I've been to plenty of dealerships in my life, but kindness and knowledge goes a long way with me. Everyone is so nice. You really get the warm and fuzzies here. Don O'Brien was a great help and approached everything with a smile. He explained my options to me, so that it was completely understandable. You have a very nice establishment. I will definitely be back again... even if its only for a routine oil change.

Went for oil change waited 10 minutes guy hung sign on car waited few more minutes takes sign off waited a bit more someone asked if we been helped . we say not yet he hangs another sign on car we wait a bit more still no help . so we toss sign on ground drive across street to Hyundai and had oil changed in 20 minutes .Toyota needs serious help in service center all anyone knows how to do is hang a sign on your car
My husband and I purchased a pre-owned, Toyota certified Camry this weekend and we are thrilled with both our new car and the car buying experience provided by Sun Toyota! Our salesman, Jim McDonald, was attentive, patient, and very knowledgeable about the Toyota products available to us. He listened to our wants and needs, and showed us cars which not only fit our wants and needs, but also our budget. He made no efforts to sell us anything outside our budget, which was the opposite of our past car buying experiences. Carolyn Deary, the Finance Manager who handled our financing was efficient, knowledgeable, and was able to offer us a better rate than we originally expected.

Not happy with the follow-through service from Sun Toyota. I purchased a Jeep Rubicon from Sun Toyota. My sales rep was nice, however, the account manager was rude and unprofessional. His name was Parth, and he spoke to me very condescendingly the entire transaction. At one point, his lack of professionalism became so unbearable that I requested a new account manager. I almost completely dropped the sale because of Parth. I m not sure why but my sales transaction took place over the course of two days. I lived over an hour away from the dealership, and they made me come back the next day to finish the sale. On the first day, I went the entire day there. I kept getting the run around on why it was taking so long. They ran out the clock until the dealership closed, and forced me to return the next day. Finally, after this messy experience, they gave me a broken car key. One of the button didn t work, and the key was halfway coming out of the electronic key holder. I made a request for a new one to the salesperson, to which he replied, oh, do you need a new key? Well, yes, lol I just said I needed a new key since this one is broken. There was zero follow up, and the key has finally broken. I cannot start my car, I can t even use the vehicle I m paying for. I contacted Sun Toyota again about a replacement key. Their response was that their key mechanic is a third party source, and I have to gamble driving up there between 10-12 to see if he can help me. First off, I live an hour away one way. Second off, I have a job. I can t just gamble that Sun Toyota is going to do their job. I honestly should ve never signed for the Jeep. I had a bad feeling about the management here from the very beginning. Now I m stuck with a new Jeep with a broken key. I can t drive the car anymore. I have no idea how Sun Toyota still operates by providing zero solution or customer service to their customers. I highly recommend not giving these crooks your money.

Nothing but excellent service from Mr. Lee Houston, as a first time buyer I didn't have much room for help but Lee and sun Toyota worked with me to get me what I needed and the deals were so Great I walked away with a car the same visit! My buddy and I were ready to buy two cars. Both of us had trade-ins and we knew exactly what we wanted. He wanted a Tundra SR5 5.7 and I wanted a Tacoma TRD Off-road. We had exact specs, conditions, price, etc. that we wanted. We went in on Friday and met with AMELIA STAMAS. She greeted us and we proceeded to tell her that we were going to be difficult and that we had no problem walking if we didn't get exactly what we wanted. This did not phase her, she simply smiled and said, well good thing you got the best. That day we gave her exactly what we wanted, got our trade ins looked at and talked about price. We came back Sunday and with some of the best negotiations, my buddy and I found exactly what we wanted, for the price we wanted. Had it not been for AMELIA STAMAS and FERRIS HAMDAN we actually would have left. The work these two put in to this sale was way above and beyond any other person would have gone. I would completely recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new car, even if you aren't looking at Toyota, come talk to these two and you'll probably end up getting one and happier than you would have been getting something else. It was a great experience and I look forward to working with them again.

My wife and I purchased a new 2016 Camry from Sun Toyota on 1/4/2016, trading in a 2006 Honda Accord. It was a good experience overall and I rank it so highly primarily due to the outstanding efforts made by Brad Butler, the sales representative who really made it work out. Quoted e-price was a little more reasonable than other local dealerships. Once the dealer improved their initial low offer on my trade-in (i.e. know your trade-in valuation) it worked out well. These folks did not try to force too much of the sit in the box routine, nor did they attempt to strand us on lot by holding onto trade-in keys or car after inspection but allowed me to stay with the vehicle the entire time. What most impressed me about this experience was how Brad dealt well with my aggressive approach, cooperated with my requests on signing and trade-in inspection process, and how he spent a significant amount of time, after the paperwork was signed with us. After the sale, he made sure my wife and I completely understood the vehicle functions: cruise control, the GPS navigation system, synchronizing with iPhone bluetooth, entertainment system and software updates, air conditioning, verifying equipment like jack stand/spare, and helped us move personal items from the trade-in to our new vehicle. It was the most time and effort I have ever seen anyone in car sales spend with a customer after the sale. Additionally, I was easily able to contact Brad and get valid information from the dealer weeks latter about title status; they had already completed the work and a week latter the title was successfully transferred to us from DMV. We will definitely consider working with this dealer again in the future.
Don t go anywhere else. Sun Toyota is an all around 5 star dealership. After shopping around and doing a bunch of research for getting the best deal, this was the place. They met our needs not only staying within our goal price range but got us an even better car than we initially had in mind. My husband and I were out car shopping for about 3 weeks and every dealership we tried turned us down said we needed more money as a down payment or even a co-signer. Both our credit scores are quite lower than the normal. We figured let's try Sun Toyota. We found a 2009 Chevy Traverse that caught our eye online. we received an email from Bo at Sun Toyota to come in and fill out paperwork. We filled out our paperwork and was told that we would hear something on Monday. Monday came and we received the phone call from Sun Toyota that everything was good and we can come get the car. I bought my 2015 Prius II from them after a wreck led to the demise of my beloved Honda Element that had served me faithfully for over a decade. They didn't overly pressure me to buy a car and were awesome at not only helping to make sure my wife and I could get a good financing deal but also making sure we could get the car we wanted rather than settle. They provided us several options within our abilities and encouraged us to check the all out rather than push the most expensive ones on us. I always do a lot of research ahead of time when I make big purchases and this gave me some insight into how honest and open they were with us. I'd definitely trust them again for a future car purchase. Now, the purchase was made in April of 2017. I've since been back twice for scheduled maintenance. They are easy to schedule with and both times I was in and out as fast or faster than if I would have gone to a local auto shop. I have been immensely satisfied with my experiences at Sun Toyota.
