I appreciate that my truck was repaired but it was extremely frustrating not getting updates. I went in a few days before Christmas because my daughters new bike was locked in the bed of the truck. I asked for my keys & no one knew where they were. It took several minutes before they were found, turns out my technician who initially denied knowing where they were had them all along. I was also told to text the technician with any questions. I did & received a response 2 days later. I will continue to deal with Toyota dealerships, but never Sterling Mcall again. They are not professional & don t care about customer service.

Pedro was great help! He kept me informed with everything that was going. I told him that I was dropping my car off and had to go back to work, he said he that he would communicate with me via text so that I wouldn t be bothered while at work. The other staff members were courteous and friendly. It s always a great experience here!

Ask allot of questions. I called and ask the price for a synthetic oil change on my Tundra, was told 49.99. I know my truck takes an extra quart of oil so I estimated 10 bucks more. Again ask alot of questions cause it was 70 total. I could have went anywhere for that price. I want go back cause that was to much extra compared to the price I was given. I feel like being the dealership they should know what my truck takes and price accordingly. I'll take the blame for assuming that I would not be charged some crazy fee but I want ever go back...want get me again.

Excellent service. Friendly and professional staff. They serve you in English and Spanish. They explain the work they have done with your car and technical recommendations to improve its performance.
Already my car received the free service offered by Toyota up to 25,000 miles, however I decided that all the next maintenance will be done there.
I recommend this place to you. Thank you

My first visit on a Saturday afternoon... I was pleased that my oil change, car check up, and minor windshield repair were completed in less than an hour! The price was reasonable. All personnel that I interacted with on the phone and in person were friendly and respectful. I definitely recommend this service center.

Allowed me to place a deposit on a vehicle, placing it on hold after confirming it was available. I set up an inspection, dealership confirmed with the inspector the vehicle was available and even scheduled a time for them to come by. Next morning, I get a call that someone's working on a deal on the vehicle, but sales associate has no idea as to when the deal was initiated. So now I've paid for an inspection on a vehicle that isn't even available. The only recommended fix is maybe you just want to buy a completely different car.

Great costumer service, personal attention. Pricy. If wasnt as expensive, would have been great. Sometimes we have to take the car back, they will honor their work but a hustle yo go back.

Patient, friendly, courteous service. Thoroughly addressed all my questions and concerns. Informed me of all available add=ons and services but did so without pressing me to purchase any of them. Everyone I dealt with made my car buying experience a truly pleasant and comfortable one.

Sam Rasa was my salesman and he came highly recommended by a friend. After a short conversation with Sam I can see why he was recommended. He is friendly and super easy to work with. I knew what I wanted to buy and Sam made the buying process hassle free. I definitely would recommend anyone to Sam.

This was a very frustrating experience. We booked an appointment online for Monday afternoon and was told it wasn't in the system when we got there. Left the car and had to pour a lot of money into the repairs. Didn't get it back until Friday. People were impossible to contact. PICK UP THE PHONE! All to get the fuses replaced. Had to wait an hour to be handed the keys. All in all, pricey, long, and frustrating, but the car is up and running again for now. Not inclined to return at the moment....

I stopped by (without an appointment) but got my car serviced with no problem. Edvin is so professional and friendly. If you go, ask for him. They were busy but fit me in, took care of me, and got me out quickly. I highly recommend this location for all your Toyota services and maintenance needs.

My service advisor(Valentine?) didn't come out to meet me upon arrival or speak with me after my repairs were made. He only called to say that my car was ready....no thank you or anything. I'm used to much better customer service than this. Next time, I'll use Rey Qui or Carlos Santos, they are rock stars!

My friend bought a car from here and in the finance department the employee was racist. He called my nation"aggressive" and repeated it several times. "I know you very well you are aggressive people". I did not like it at all. We did not expect such kind of treatment from Toyota.

Jasmine was very friendly and informative during my 35,000 maintenance visit! She pointed out some things that needed replacing in the near future without being pushy. She also took the initiative to replace my battery which was going bad, but still under warranty. I appreciated her proactive efforts!

This was literally the best experience ever from a servicing dealership. I had answers about my car within hours, which before from Helfman Ford, it was days. I experienced the best customer service with consistent text updates. George is super bomb! He kept me constantly and consistently up to date with everything going on with my car. I highly recommend this dealership's service department. It's top notch, despite the heavy flow of traffic that they inquire from a daily basis.

I took my Scion Xb in for AC repair. My regular mechanic diagnosed the problem as a leak in the evaporator coil. Replacing it means tearing down the dashboard which he did not want to do. He suggested taking it somewhere with lots of experience doing this repair. It was a mistake taking it to this dealer. They ran their own diagnostic tests and I was told their expert mechanic had determined the compressor was bad and the entire AC system needed to be replaced. This was going to cost more than $4500 for an older car no longer worth even half of that. I paid for the diagnostic test and for the freon they used in testing, more than $200, and declined the repair. I took it to a different mechanic in the Heights. He said the compressor was fine, replaced the evap coil, replaced the condensor, dried the lines and got the AC repaired and working beautifully for $1300.

Good Customer service no doubt but trust Me beware of those guys at the SERVICING CENTER that comes to fix your glass or window they'll mess up your insurance, I just found out yesterday/today from my insurance that I had a claim for my widow, that they convinced me to clean a crack for $60, I tell you that made my policy go up. Dont ever listen to them if you must fix It pay out of pocket, I think it's a scam, they're working with the insurance companies.

Parts department sucks, almost 30 minutes on hold just to tell me to call back later because the system was down. I went to Mike Calvert Toyota, got my replacement part and came back in less than an hour.

Sterling McCall Toyota is simply amazing! Hands down they provide the highest level of customer care, the most superb service, and the best attention to detail of any car dealer I ve ever had an experience with.

I purchased a used car from them AS-IS, with no warranty. A month later, almost to the day, the car stalled on me while driving and would not start again, even when jumped.

I took the car to a mechanic who told me the motor was frozen and the only way I could fix it would be to put a whole new motor in it.

Not expecting anything from them, I decided to call Sterling McCall Toyota anyways and see if there was anything they could do to help me.

Without even a second thought, my original sales advisor, Raul Aguirre, asked me to bring the car in so they could run a diagnostic on it. I was completely taken aback. After a short wait they told me the issue was not actually that the motor was frozen, but the starter was failed in such a way that it prevented the motor from turning. Another highly relieving and pleasant surprise.

Finally they didn t even hesitate to tell me they were going to replace the failed starter for me at no cost to me. A third truly amazing surprise.

I have never experienced such high integrity from a car dealer, new or used. I want to give a shout-out and a huge Thank You! to Raul Aguirre, his manager Brian Luviano, and the entire Sterling McCall Toyota team! You guys are simply amazing, and I will not buy a car anywhere else again for as long as I am in Houston. You ve made me a loyal customer.

I highly recommend anyone in the market for a car, new or used, make Sterling McCall Toyota their first stop. You won t regret the decision to do so.

Don't come here for service using their's "service specials" coupons. It's a gimmick. I felt I was "rip off" from the service coupon. They didn't do everything on the coupon, but said was done. Seriously!!! I came in with a coupon for oil change, tire rotation and balance, and fuel tank injector. I spent over $100's for this "special". Why would I pay over $50 for a bottle of fuel injector? I could get it from any auto store for around $10. I learned my lesson! Definitely won't be coming back for future service business or buying cars from this dealership.

Paid for a tire rotation. They are supposed to reset the tire pressure light as part of what you pay for...they didn't. Called and couldn't get the Assist Service Manager helping me to call me back. Sent a text to the number they send saying if you need anything to reply to text...no response. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I've been taking my vehicles to them for service for over 10 years. Guess I need to find someplace else.

After purchasing my vehicle with 27K miles from here in Nov. 2018, I recently noticed that the dealership battery already had corrosion on the negative terminal. Naturally, I was frustrated so I brought it to Sterling McCall to have to rectified. After Edwin from their team promised me they would replace the corroded battery connection, I waited 40mins for the repair only to have Will Sorento, the manager, tell me they made a mistake and would not fix it. Even with the vehicle being under the 36K mile warranty! This establishment is not worth spending your money on if they can t fulfill what they promise. Save yourself some trouble and go somewhere else where they won t lie or cheat you, because I sure will be!

Came back to buy my daughter her 1st car, and like every time we have come to Sterling McCall they come through for us. Kathie Marsh is awesome and recommend her to anyone. The finance department is very professional and not pushy at all. If you want an A++ experience ask for Kathie Marsh. Jerry Bush thank you for all you have done for our family. With such negative stigma associated with auto rep...

With such negative stigma associated with auto repair shops you would think a dealer such as Sterling McCall would try to avoid these mistakes..

I bought a used Toyota Venza about two months ago from another dealer after searching for the exact one we wanted for weeks... it had about 30K miles on it. In the two month time frame I noticed some minor issues and thought when it's time to get my oil change i'll get it looked at because it's still under factory 36K warranty.

The issues included the rear view mirror was loose, at highway speeds there's a wind breaking noise on the driver's side, while accelerating hard there is a noise, sounds like a electric motor/whine type noise both audible to not just me but passengers who also state its coming from the driver's side, a dome light in the rear that didn't come on with the doors but worked with the switch, I also wanted to know if there was a update for the GPS.

I took it Sterling Mccall Toyota for its first oil change last Tuesday and dropped it off told them about the issues. When I told them about the dome light. Two service advisors jumped in the back and quickly said it's because there are aftermarket LED bulbs installed in them. I told them this has been a issue before I replaced them, so this cannot be a bulb issue. I told them about the other issues and they said they will look into it and give me a call tomorrow.

Due to my schedule I wasn't able to answer the call the next day, but called him back the following day Thursday. He said the oil change is done and as far as the noise issues they weren't able to duplicate it because it was windy or something but "lubricated the seals", they tightened the rear view mirror which was loose, if I want to fix the dome light I will be charged two hours of labor to diagnose($240), I said why am I being charged for this? He again says there are a lot of aftermarket items "LED bulbs" installed and that probably caused the problem(on a side note LED bulbs consume less power than regular bulbs), I again told him this was a issue before the bulbs, He said they will check it out and if it's found the LED's are the reason why, I would have to pay for it. At this point I can see he obviously doesn't believe/trust me or he wants me to pay no matter who's fault it is.
I agree, If a customer makes a modification and the modification causes a problem then the customer should pay to fix the problem. I'm in the automobile repair industry myself, I have ASE certifications including L1 but specialize in electrical diagnostics and repair, I'm not trying to sound like a "know it all". The degree of understanding required to stick a 194 wedge type bulb into a socket is not much, and if this is done with the switch in the on position and you short it out, a fuse would blow before a wire is damaged. I gave him green light to fix it. He also said there is no gps update(my friend's 2013 Venza had a gps update done, I believe it wasn't even checked based on my experience so far)

He called me Friday, I assumed it was to tell me it was ready but you know what they say about assuming...I went there today to pick up my car, it's Monday. The cashier gives me the bill and I see its almost 200 dollars there's a charge on it for $120 for electrical diagnoses.

I ask to speak to the service advisor. I ask him why I'm being charged for diagnosing the dome light issue when the vehicle is in the bumper to bumper factory warranty?

He said "WARRANTY WILL NOT COVER DIAGNOSTICS ONLY REPAIRS" and made it seem as if I should be grateful he only charged one hour of diagnostics after telling me two.

He AGAIN tells me it's probably because you installed aftermarket LED bulbs and the technician "THINKS" it's in the wire harness but they would need to drop the headliner first. Basically the cost of it is close to 900 dollars if i would like to have the part ordered?
I paid the $120 "the technician thinks it's in the wire harness and WE think it's your fault fee" and left.
