Was at dealership from 9:15 to noon. Was told they did a diagnostic and could not find problem why my hatch door was not opening but they think it might be the motor. This replacement will cost me more than $500.00! Diagnostic cost me more than $200.00
When I pulled out of the service area I noticed that light was on indicating a door was open. I got out of the car to find that one of the passenger doors rubber padding was off. Service people did not check my car before returning it to me. So now I have to wait a few weeks for a motor that may or may not be the problem of the hatch not opening.

Wil Solano always helps me out whenever I need it. All I do is set up the appointment with the amazing call center and come in and drop off. I ve had my 4Runner for 2 years and I ve done all my maintenance with Wil. I trust his opinion on what I need to do to keep my 4Runner running smoothly. Idiot technicians hired by them, they told me to repair sprinkle valve for my car wind glass and quote me $500, they wasted my half day and small shop mechanic did this job without any charges, and I gave him $20 for his lunch and was happy, I gave one star as I didnt have any option to write comments for them.... pls go to small mechanic shop and fix your minor problems of the car,

Just expect any service to take at least 2 hours of your time, every time. Walk-in? Minimum 2 hours. Set up an appointment? Minimum 2 hours.

Want to know why it takes so long despite seeing a full staff and plenty of bays to service vehicles? Good luck getting more than a "we are sorry it took so long."

I almost never leave any reviews, good or bad, but when my 7:20 AM appointment results in a simple replaced gas cap nearly 3 hours to the minute I just have to say something.

Pedro was my advisor today, and he took care of my car s multipoint inspection with ease. I didn t have to worry about a single thing, and he explained everything that was going to be done before the service and again reiterated all the things that were completed. Sterling McCall Toyota services has never let me down, and I ve felt like I was walking away with a safe and reliable car every time. I got my appointment moved up an hour without a problem also on New Year s Eve! Everyone was polite and I really appreciate the professionalism of the establishment.

I had the most wonderful experience getting my new RAV4. They made feel so comfortable and took great care of my needs. Parvez who was my sale agent is such a sweet person and is great at what he do! Not to forget Mr. Us mami the manager who took some time out of his busy day to make sure I was happy with my new purchase and that everything was going well oh and made sure my little girl had a great time as well. I had 1-1/2 hours to kill while I had the oil changed on my Camry. I liked that the dealership is large and there were lots of choices of places to wait. Even with the Covid 19 threat everyone was wearing a mask and people seemed to be spaced well apart. The snack bar had a nice selection of snacks/sandwiches and drinks. In the end I waited 2 hours but the waiting environment was pleasant and I have to consider these trying times!

Excellent service!
They are always aware of the vehicle service, they send me reminders and calls.
The waiting time is considerable, very attentive and when the service requires more time they give me the option of providing an Uber and going where I indicate them and taking me back when my car is ready.

Had a great buying experience this past weekend. The salesman Casey Lee was very attentive, respectful, and made me feel like I got a great deal on the car I finally selected. I almost knocked off a star for the hour and a half it took me to get in and out of financing, but Melanie was great too. Other people might not be as forgiving as me, but would still recommend over the other dealerships.

Tunde in sales was a pleasure to work with. Good price on a new vehicle and reasonable trade-in on Prius. The finance manager was also very easy to work with. She minimized the time required to close the deal, reduced the usual torture of being pressed to purchase many additional dealer programs and made it easy to arrange for Toyota financing.

Will say anything to get you to buy a car but once it's done, will give you the run around if the car starts acting up. Sold us an extended warranty with a used jeep saying it would basically cover everything except normal wear and tear. The day that we got the car, it started making sounds. They told us to bring it to jeep who charged us over a hundred dollars to diagnose the problem. Turns out the emergency brakes were damaged and they wouldn't cover it because it's part of wear and tear. Had to go back and forth with Sterling McCall for them to finally fix the car. Would not recommend this place. They are shady.

Had to bring my Prius in for a recall, pulled in, was met by someone that asked what my problem was. Pulled up farther and another employee came to me and verified why I came, took me to his desk and got my information. Was then directed to the customer service lounge for a semi long wait due to the fact it was a software update and these things have a mind of their own.

Update 1/15/21... Had to go in again, brakes. Nilson was very considerate. Gave me a 10% discount, and he was able to arrange financing for 6 months. While I was waiting, he sent me a text to see if I needed anything. Excellent, thanks.

The salesman was not honest about the price of the car. He sent me an email with false information about the price of the car. making it seem like I'm getting the best deal. when I asked him to email me the break down of the price he didn't want to do that and when I went to the car dealer he didn't want to show me the paperwork for the car and he told me I'm getting a great price just go up to the finance manager and they will show me the price. I waited 2 hours to see the finance manager just to find out the price on the paperwork is not the price the salesman told me I'm getting, plus he added $500 for windows tint that I didn't ask for. A totally dishonest salesman, using a false advertisement to attract customers to his dealer and then make the customer wait for hours to find out that they wasted their time and money.

On October 3rd, 2020, sterling sold me a used truck they did not own the title to. Sold me the truck with a clean title which was a lie. Unfortunately, less than 24 hours later an uninsured motorists drove into the truck and totaled it. Filed my insurance claim with no problems until my insurance company tried to get the title. The dealership can not provide a title to the insurance company so I have been paying insurance and truck payments for four months on a truck that I don t have because of this dealership. For the last four months they have been telling me the same thing. For four months they have been getting this clean title from the previous lien holder. How is it for four months I can t get a title yet I m expected to continue making payments. I call the finance department, the titling officer, and finance supervisor with no assistance. They say they will call me back with updates and NEVER call me back. I paid for a rental out of pocket of two months after my insurance on the rental ran out. Thousands of dollars I ve spent just trying to get to work during this. They show NO empathy to my situation. I would never buy a used vehicle from them! EVER! BEWARE!

If you're looking for a car, this place isn't worth your time. I give it two stars because it wasn't the worst customer service but they definitely don't care about the customer. I went to test drive a few cars and I asked for a quote after. The salesman, Eddie, was completely uninterested and apathetic. I called him back the next day with an offer and I told him how another dealership could match it and he told me to go with that dealership instead. I don't think they're interested in selling cars. Ultimately, I did exactly what the salesman told me, I bought my car somewhere else, and I'm very happy I did.

My boyfriend just bought a used car from them. I have to say the sales rep that I spoke to was very kind and patient with me the whole step through. Well.. as I was discussing the details of the car, another salesman (short, chunky, half bald head, white guy) runs up to him and says "THIS CAR WAS SOLD THIS MORNING". No manners. Didn't pull our sales rep to the side. Just ruined the entire experience. Then he comes back after giving Hamsa the keys and says "LET ME KNOW IF THE DEAL DOESN'T GO THROUGH" in from of us. They need less cut throat, self absorbed, greedy, "I want my commission" kind of attitude. Rating this location based on my experience. I am sure I will be going to Don McGill Toyota in Katy for my car. since I have 15 years in cs service and 2 in sales. I am very aware when an experience is not very customer service friendly. If you need pointer, please tell your sales reps to remember one thing; I learned it when I first started and it has given me the ability to excel and surpass my employer expectations in cs service. I don't expect Toyota to offer high and beyond customer services compare to other high-end car brand. But Toyota can work on helping new car owner like me the ropes around keeping the maintenance of my car. Felt every time I try asking a question about my new car I get brushed off. And end up not learning anything in keeping my car well maintenance. Because of that I wouldn't recommend other people that I know to that place. No matter how reliable the brand is. Very grateful that Carlos stayed late for my husband and I to be able to drive our Cadillac SRX home to Corpus the night we purchased the car. He did everything he could to get us a good deal. Love my car, even though we experienced a problem with the touch screen as soon as we left the lot, not happy about that because that was one of the reasons we bought that specific car. It is currently getting worked on and don't know when it will be ready, hopefully sometime this week. Not looking forward to driving back to Houston to pick it up, but atleast it's getting fixed. Few other details I didn't like was that the car was missing a hub cap cover and floor mats. I just wanted to let Carlos know he is doing a great job helping us work everything out with our car.

In 35 years of driving, before today, I can honestly say that this location has provided the best customer service that I have ever received. The staff are extremely professional and everything is done to perform high quality service with integrity and to make the experience as pleasant as possible.

Today marks a major departure from that high quality. I scheduled a 9:00 appointment online and dropped off the car on time. I was told that a simple oil change would take between 2 and 2 1/2 hours. I was assured though, that they should be able to do it a bit faster than that. After waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes, I went to get an update. It took 10 minutes to find the person who had the paper work. At that point, I was told that they had not even started and that I was next. When I asked to get some clarification from the manager Art Whatley, he just made excuses rather than transmitting confidence which had always been my experience previously. He said two people had called in sick. I inquired as to why they would offer appointments that they could not handle. He answered, "It's not an appointment, it's a drop off time." This has not been my experience for the past five years. It is a strange and disappointing departure from the highest quality automotive service that I have ever experienced.

I asked to speak to Art's manager, feeling completely stonewalled. In short, Jerry Bush didn't know why the service was subpar and didn't seem to care. He just offered me a car so as to send me home. He could not let me know when my car would be ready nor how I could be assured that today's disappointing service would be different in the future. He just kept repeating, "I've told you. I don't know what is going on out there." He didn't seem in the least bit interested in resolving the issue. He only insisted in getting me home without a firm timeline.

He added, "I see why Art didn't want to help you."

I am saddened to see a place that has always been leaps and bounds above any other location adopt an attitude of apathy. It does not bode well for this location. With the recession and extenuating uncertainties, I am surprised that Jerry would be so cavalier about allowing a drop in customer service as well as expressing a complete lack of interest as to why the clientele is not valued as it previously has been.

I would strongly encourage Sterling McCall to step up their game and preserve their strong reputation before allowing a slow decline to undermine a shining star here in Houston.
