Definitely one of the better places if you intend to wait while they work on your car. Complimentary wi-fi, huge waiting rooms, and plenty of TVs. Fairly reliable too, of course.
i spilled coffee on the back seat of my 2003 toyota matrix xrs, i called the service department of sterling mc call toyota for assistance and was transfer to pedro b. (service advisor for sterling mc call toyota), after talking to this joker. he told me that he doesn't know how to remove the seat and there was no mechanic around for assistance. i see why these guy was rated 3 stars, with jokers like this 'mr. service advisor pedro b.'working for them. they are lucky to be rated 3 stars. would be the last time i and my families has anything to do with this location !
Service center techs are quick and pleasant. Love the lounge and internet connection. I can work at a table and enjoy free coffee. Nice touch to have a deli in case you are there for awhile. . Also everything clean.....Nice relaxing atmosphere.

I took my Highlander to the service center because the engine and skid light were on. Tests done showed several coils were misfiring. Will Solano was my service advisor and he is an excellent exceptional advisor to work with. Wil was very patient, informative and responded to the many email messages I sent him prior to setting up the service appointment. Although our decision to purchase a car was with a 5 day span for our own personal reasons, the representative that we had was outstanding and had the knowledge needed to give us the satisfaction we needed as a customer. Two words: Employee bloat.
Summary: It took 2 hours to give me a code that I already told them when I scheduled the appointment. They wasted my entire afternoon and I left without the estimate that I had scheduled the appointment for because their 'free' diagnostic appointment was only an engine scan, which I had already informed them I did not need, and they wanted over $400 to give an actual diagnosis before they even gave an estimate for work.
Long story:
My boyfriend's check engine light had appeared on his Toyota. No obvious problems or noises and an engine scan returned P0345, meaning an issue with the camshaft (or its sensor, wiring, etc). I took it into a Midas and was told that it would be $200 to replace the sensor.
Wanting a second opinion, I called Sterling McCall to see if they could give me an estimate. I gave them the engine scan code, told them that there were no other issues, and asked for an estimate. I was told on the phone that they would need me to bring in the car so that they could diagnose it themselves and that it would be free to diagnose it so that they could tell me what the real issue was for the check engine light. Please note, I already had the engine scan code. I told them that I had it and asked for an estimate to replace the sensor...
IT TOOK TWO HOURS TO REDO A SCAN THAT TAKES LESS THAN A MINUTE! AND THEY REFUSED TO FURTHER DIAGNOSE WITHOUT MORE MONEY!! Two hours!! For something I had already done in a minute! I dropped off the car, wonder why it's taking so dang long only for them to call and say the code P0345 was coming up and that was all they knew. I had waited 2 HOURS for them to tell me something I was clear in communicating before I arrived that I already knew. I asked them if they had done more diagnostic work and they asked for $422!!! That price did not include the actual service to replace the part, legitimately just for them to go under the hood and look at the engine parts more carefully. I had been very clear that I had already taken it to someone else and just wanted a second opinion. They wasted 2 hours of my time (not including the hour long round trip drive) knowing that I already had the scan done and conveniently forgot to inform me that the free diagnostic test was just a simple check engine light scan and anything else would be HUNDREDS of dollars more.
It was frustrating to see the sheer number of employees leisurely walking around, and still having it take that long and also not have it be transparent. When we look for a new car in the next year or so, we will not be coming here.

I have used Sterling McCall Toyota for about 20 years for the maintenance and repair of my former Avalon and now Camry Hybrid. They have been solidly reliable, attentive, and reasonable the entire time.
Excellent job. Very happy with the information shared about the work to be done, time to clear a long list and the facilities to wait until the service is completed.
The oil change express was great as usual. I was able to get in today and out within 30 minutes. That is why I take my car there over a lube group.

Staff at the oil change service upfront desk are extremely disorganized and the customer service is just terrible. A guest can't even ask them a simple question because they don't know anything and they don't bother trying to go out of their way to help a guest with their concerns. However they sure can have side comments for example "I'm trying to play pokemon go" or being on the phone in front of guest being to busy with their side comments. How is that professional ? The management should honestly do something about their employees customer service in the front desk because its awful.

. I only needed my regular oil change, but I was told I need to get a new battery.
I also was told I had a leak underneath my oil pan and that my rear right tire had only 12 lbs. of air in it and I should have that tire checked. The service wss quick, efficient, and most professional. They offered to take care of all of the issues but I declined. Thank you for great and courteous employees.

Had to remind couple of times to change my cabin filter. Didn t change when I went to pickup vehicle. Had to ask again and wait so they can change it. May be the location is too busy to handle the work load.
If you have a salvaged title they won't work on your car. Let them know that before you have it over there for 15hours

I had gone through like 6 dealers in the San Antonio area. They all tried to take advantage of me and push me into something that I knew I didn t want. One dealership said that I d never in a million years find the price I was looking to pay on a Crossover like this and that I should settle for this. Another dealership told me that they were the best dealership in the great state of Texas and that people come from all over to buy from them. His tactics were awful and made me not want to do business with them and try to steer people from dealing with them.
Just when I thought about giving up. I came across Tunde Samuel at Sterling McCall in Houston. Out the gate he assisted me and was able to locate the exact model, color, and trim that I wanted without feeling like I was small or as if I wasn t going to find what I wanted. I m grateful to the Tunde and the Sterling McCall team. I drove 3 hours just to buy this car and I d drive 3 hours again if it meant I got to purchase a car from them. They really make you feel welcome and they don t try to be pushy or force you into buying something at an astronomical price.

Well, I been looking for 2017 highlander for almost a month, I checked almost all the dealerships in Hosuton and didnt find the color that I want or the prices was very high, fortunately decided to go to this dealership and you can easily tell how its difference than the other dealerships that I been before, they have many options, helpful sales team and the best things is NO HIDDEN FEES or any add ons.
If you decided to buy a car, Ask for Salim Adil, he is very helpful and has 11 years in this dealership as he said, so he is expert and can work with you to norrow your options.

I bought my used Hyundai Elantra from this place earlier this year. When I bought it there were a number of things that they promised they would fix including installing a shark fin antenna. That was not done when I came to pick up the car and I had to argue in order for them to agree to order the part and fix it later. They told me they got the part so I dropped my car off and took an Uber home. I got a call an hour and a half later saying they had the wrong part and would order the correct one. Came back again a month later. After two hours I was told they had the wrong part again. I am still yet to get this fixed from February. Hope to never have to come back after this is finally done.
On the flip side, David Perez is pleasant to work with and it s not his fault that the department that orders parts is trying to save money by buying the wrong parts for cheap. Garni, the car salesman that helped me was also fantastic. Highly recommend him
Had an appointment to do a oil change and it took almost 3 hours. Sadly this is the 2nd time in a row that this has happened to me so not a one tine deal. I know COVID has cause difficulties with staff but I think customers will leave if it does not get fixed soon. Otherwise great work and plan to stay with you in the Hope that it gets fixed.

The maintenance on my car was quick and they were able to knock the price down a bit.
I believed my washer pump failed but turns out West Lake Houston Autobody forgot to reinstall the hose when they repaired my hood. Thankfully, Sterling McCall tech performed a vehicle inspection and connected the hose at no charge. I paid for the scheduled oil change and was notified of other maintenance that should to be serviced. I was pleasantly surprised that the Service Writer did not try to upsell me on unnecessary services. I appreciate honesty when it comes to customer service. Thank you Service Department.

As a Benz tech with 30k followers on social media, my followers know what dealers to do business with. "Fabien" the parts manager refused to take back 2 horns that wasn't even installed. "No returns" Um what? I can understand if it was installed. It wasn't even opened! Please DO NOT do any business with Sterling McCall Toyota instead drive a few miles north or south for better customer service. No warning from Albert either as the order was placed. Stay away! Been doing business with them for 2 years, spent thousands of dollars. This is how they treat you on 120 dollar return? With covid & the economy down they will be happy to sell you anything with no returns, just sell sell sell.

Robert was my sales guy and made sure I was well informed on the highlander. You can truly tell he has a passion for his job. He took the time to show us EVERY feature from safety to helping me set up both or our iPhones and hooking up pandora( my wife's must have ). Melanie in finance was amazing as well. she went over everything that I wanted (warranty, wheel and tire protection, gap, and scheduled maintenance) front to back.
One of the most surprising things is even after the sell Robert was still very attive. He really took the time to make sure we knew how to really untilize every feature on the highlander. He made sure I had all of the important numbers (warranty, service, roadside assistance) and his direct contact in case we needed anything.
I was already a true believer in Toyota products but I am now a life long customer to Sterling McCall Toyota.

It was really funny when I visited this dealer. My consultant did not let me negotiate a car. He said price of car is $25,000 + $600 (or $700) accessory + ttl - $2000 (rebate from Toyota). Then, he gave me a pen and asked me sign it. I ask him if could he give us the best deal. That's unacceptable. He confirmed that a car was sold that price no negotiate. He said I was wasting his time. I think my time was waste by a bad consultant. I don't know why this dealer hire rude consultants. I read some reviews and find out some previous buyers have bad experiment (could not negotiate). I am not happy with this dealer.
This dealership has serviced cars for me for years, but their service has deteriorated. A regular maintenance took over three hours for a car less than two years old, and despite clearly giving the rep my correct phone number, and then reporting that the communication was going to the wrong number, they never got it right. Very disappointing!

From first finding my Tacoma online, to test driving, purchasing, and taking delivery of the vehicle was a pleasant experience. No high pressure sales to buy the truck or finance my purchase. All went smooth, proceeded fast and I took delivery in less than 12 hours. And some will ask "why didn't you just drive it home that day?" Because the salesman found a small problem with the door lock and didn't want me to have to come back later for repair. Thank's for taking that time to save my time! Large service facility, 7/8 service advisors, competent mechanics. Roomy waiting lounge, highly accommodating and...pricey. If you have a competent mechanic whom you trust, it might cost less for equal work.
