We went in to lease a 2020 M340i, Kai Groschupf really help us out. He got us a really good deal on the lease and make sure the car is fully ready for us when we pick up. He's really good at his job, he quickly narrow down the cars that meet our requirements and he always keep us updated. The whole process was really easy and save us a lot of time!

PLEASE Look at all the 1 star reviews. Sterling never takes ownership for their mistakes. They put the ball in the customers hands by saying, call us and we will make sure you are satisfied. They never own up and eat the potato. Typical CYA move.

I am unhappy with my service yet again. Several months back, I had my BMW towed in after the lights on the dash went crazy and the car quit running. I get a call and it is the service guys. They say it s a broken fuse, and they fixed it. Well if you know anything about fuses, they don t normally blow for no reason, thy are there to prevent other major electrical damage when something goes wrong. I was like.. ok maybe it will be ok. Fast forward a few weeks, and the same thing happens again with my wife driving. She s stranded and freaking out a bit. I leave work to go take care of it. At this point, I know that there is an electical issue somewhere. I again have it towed in, and the service guy calls and says that my Waterpump, thermostat, and Vanos solenoids need replacing.. that s expensive... like $5000... I asked, how can a waterpump and thermostat cause this issue? The put me on a long hold so the guy on the phone could run to the shop. He came back with some left field answer. Knowing the Bmw 3 series well, I suggested that it could be the wire going to the water pump, but hey I m no Sterling mechanic, so why listen to me. They assured me that the waterpump is bad. I asked that they replace the fuse and I ll come get my car. I then took it to a local shop that specializes in Bmw and Mercedes and have them the whole detail. Turns out the wire I mentioned earlier was shorting out on the oil pan. The other un-named shop fixed it for free + $100 diagnostic fee for the entire car. So I paid $100 instead of $5000... pretty good.

Regretfully, I had to go back to Sterling for the Takata airbag recall, and had a similar experience. When I had the car towed the very first trip, I had them fix my washer fluid sprayer. Again, a few weeks later it quit working again. Since they were supposed to fix it last time, my wife asked if they could get it working again. They called me with 2 options, pay $170 diagnostic, or $260 to fix it again. I mentioned my displeasure so they knocked it down to $240. Then he called ti let me know the car was ready and that he was able to swing a bigger discount... get ready... $4 more off... $236!!! Wahoo! $236 isn t much money, but it s the principle. It should have been free or much cheaper since their mechanic wrongly diagnosed the issue the first time. If i would have not known better, I would have paid $5000 the first time and it would have broken again.

Daniel is my sales person. I haven't seen him before and only negotiated the price via email. He responsed promptly and provided a very competitve quote. Then I visited the store in the afternoon and closed the deal at the same day. Daniel is very smart, polite and nice. It is a very pleasant experience of my new car purchasing process. Brandon is very knowledgable and nice person. He taught us a lot about our new vehicle and sent us a care email at the late night.

Dropped off my X3 for a factory recall. I was treated like I was buying a new car. Super efficient check in. Alex was assigned to my Job and quickly entered my data handed me paperwork and a complimentary rental car. He filled out the rental car paperwork and I went next door to Enterprise Rent a Car handed them the paperwork and was on my way back home, all in less than 30min. Alex kept me posted and I picked up my car the following day just after 12. Car was fixed with fluids topped off and a needed car wash. Really smooth operation. It was my first time at Sterling BMW, now it s my go to for my X3.

Was super excited to purchase a BMW i3 and landed at Sterling... IT turned out to be the most disappointing experience.

Monday 10/23: came in the dealership and talked to Mark Cullinane and discussed our interest with the BMW i3. We made a deal and since we came in late at night my husband and I decided to reschedule and finalize the deal the next day.

Tuesday 10/24: came in the dealership and Mark Cullinane walked us over to Ruth Sinfuego (Finance Manager) to finalize paperwork. Ruth Sinfuego created a bill of sale which I was instructed to pick up a cashier's check from my credit union to finalize sale.

Went to credit union on Saturday 10/28 morning and picked up a cashier's check to finally seal the deal. My husband and I went to Sterling to drop off the cashier's check and Ruth Sinfuego had me sign all the necessary paperwork to complete the sale. Once signed she tells us that we will NOT be able to bring the new car home until the cashier's check clears ---which means I will leave my trade in and the new vehicle at Sterling's until Thursday 11/3. IN WHAT PLANET DOES THIS MAKE SENSE?! We have been in contact with Sterling for a week and not once they mentioned a 3 day "clearing period" for a cashier's check from a bank!

We then went to the credit union and tried to wire transfer the $ to Sterling but Ruth Sinfuego never returned our phone calls on Saturday. She claims that she did not receive a call until 7 pm. The bank closes at 3 pm Saturday so there was no way someone called at 7 pm.

DO NOT COME HERE. WE DECIDED TO TAKE OUR BUSINESS TO BMW LONG BEACH.. WE FOUND A BETTER DEAL! THE SAME CAR FOR THE SAME PRICE WITH TONS OF UPGRADES! TRULY A BLESSING THAT WE DID NOT DO BUSINESS WITH STERLING.

Sterling BMW trumped the competition by quickly responding to my email, providing pricing, and locating the exact car I was interested in. Dietrich Seney and George Ledesma were awesome to work with. Before I stepped foot in the dealership, Dietrich was awesome and answered all of my questions and provided several different financing scenarios. Dietrich was responsive and helpful. When I went to the dealership, the visit was easy and did not feel pushy. I test drove the car, had a good conversation with George, and had all my questions answered. I never felt pressured to purchase or given a hard sell. I would recommend Sterling BMW to anyone looking for the best customer service and transparent shopping process.

Fantastic service. New to Sterling having previously used dealers in LA. Appt set up was easy, loaner done quickly, and communication was simple. I love the video the technician sent us with tire and break readings. I've never seen this at another BMW dealership nor at Lexus for other vehicle.

It has been my second lease from this dealership and now after one-year new lease it has 2 problems already.
Car tires wore off in 1 year- I purchased 3 brand new tires to my previous lease and now that I got a new lease the gave me almost done tires? Like is supposed to be a new lease and now I have to spend even more money In new tires.
Second, again one year after I got the lease and the rear pads are worn off, how this happen
Did they just give me a lemon car? They didn t care what they give me?

I ll be changing dealerships as soon as my lease allows me to.

The leasing department is inept at this dealership. I turned my car in 2 months ago and I have still not received my refundable security deposit because they did not file the correct paperwork. BMW Financial services was similarly abysmal to work with. Please avoid this dealership.

Good follow-through on the part of salesman, Olin. Disappointed re: how
long it took to complete a post-negotiation transaction. I had been informed that I would have to wait 10 minutes in order to meet with the financial person. The wait was 40 minutes -- this, at a time in which the showroom appeared to be devoid of customers. At no time during the wait were updates provided. I had asked the financial person to follow up on two matters. I asked that my sales contract be Faxed to my insurance agent, despite a reminder at transaction's end. She apparently forgot to do this. I asked, too, that BMW be contacted re: the fact that this purchase replaced an expiring lease, which was also through BMW Financial Services. She failed to do this, and II was billed for the disposition fee. I have purchased or leased (for personal use) approximately 200 vehicles over the years. I seldom experience this type of indifference. I had to effect the purchase on my salesman's day off; so he was unable to fend for me during the transaction. This was NOT his fault. It was the only day I could be in town to do the deal, and I entered into the transaction, knowing that he would be absent. The sales manager was aware of the deal and knew I'd be there at an agreed-upon hour.

Turned out to be true, but no communication from dealership confirming this - up to me to call. They should be ashamed to say they wash your car - very sloppy job on mine. Had an experience similar to Jill's. Bought a Certified Pre-Owned X5 in October 2013. In less than a few weeks it was in service, needed a new differential. Remained in service for two months because the part was back-ordered and the vehicle was unsafe to drive. Granted Sterling did reimburse me for two car payments, the inconvenience was major.

A few months ago the transmission was thumping. Back in service for... a transmission replacement! This time no BMW loaner car, but instead a sweet Enterprise POS. Awesome.

After one year and a not so pleasant BMW experience I decided to sell the X5. I took it into pre-owned to see if they would be interested in buying back the $43k SUV they sold me less than a year and 7k miles ago. I was offered $31,5 (less than what I owe) Hesitant to take that offer I thought about it for a few days. Decided it would be worth paying a couple grand to get out of it and tried to arrange the drop off. Sure enough pre-owned just happened to buy a bunch of cars and no longer had room for my X5, offer retracted.

A real bummer of an experience all the way around. I'll never finance a vehicle again, especially from Sterling, and especially a BMW.

Sterling BMW hooked it up! I bought a 2016 BMW X1 with only 7k miles on it. What's even better is the car was one of their service loaners so I got outstanding financing on a car that is essentially brand new. It had no previous owners so it wasn't preowned. Because of that I got new car perks like extended warranty and free maintenance for 5 years. The staff over at Sterling are all great people and made me feel right at home. If you're in the market for a beamer I recommend talking to Bill McAdams. Bill is the man and dropped my monthlies and APR down significantly. I'm stoked I came over to Sterling.
