I will ALWAYS buy from Sterling BMW! I have been a customer for over 12 years and couldn't be more pleased with the level of support, service and professionalism at Sterling. Tina Swistak [Fleet/Internet Manager] is extremely knowledgeable and has made the process of buying cars a joy versus a task. She makes every effort to expedite the process, knowing how busy life is...all the while making you feel valued and not rushed! I don't know how she does it! I walk in and I feel like I'm visiting friends! Everyone from the Gen.Manager to the service department are beyond friendly and helpful! I travel past several BMW dealerships on my hour and 1/2 commute to Sterling, because I know i'm going to the BEST!

Working with Bill at Sterling BMW was simply amazing!! I called after seeing the car details online. Bill quickly took pictures of the beautiful
X1 and sent them to me. He even came into his office on his day off to prepare the paperwork for my purchase. The team at Sterling put all that extra love & detail into the car to ensure it was properly serviced and super clean. When I picked up my car, Bill spent plenty of time with me to show me all of the super nice features of my X1!! When I went into to meet Alex in finance, I was in and out in 20 minutes. He even worked out a way to include Gap insurance on my car and save on my monthly payment. Needless to say, after purchasing this BMW X1 from Sterling, I drove off feeling blessed beyond measure!!!

So I went into the Parts "Boutique" (fancy way of saying department) and bought a side blinker light for my old X5. I asked casually on the way out if someone could pop it in for me, and they took my vehicle in the back and worked on it for about 20 minutes (since the old one was broken) and then fixed it.
Here's the weird part: No Charge.
Yep, that's right. Service departments are a huge profit center for dealerships, and they usually try to wring every penny out that they can, but this place was willing to fix my blinker for free. That produced some good trust equity with me and I'll be coming back for when it needs some real service...

He went through all the details, and the pros and cons of each option, definitely not your typical salesman. After being treated like such a VIP, it makes it hard to buy a car anywhere else! These people are here to take your money. They do ...

These people are here to take your money. They do not care about people and will not work with you. They will charge you for work on a vehicle and then not do the repairs, so your vehicle breaks down further and they can charge you more. Do look for anyone to help you, when you ask for a manager they never call you back. This whole dealership is a joke and if you are looking to be treated like a decent human, DO NOT go anywhere near a place with the Sterling name

Ironic that they see a bad review and then claim they have no recollection of my vechicle. It was in the shop 4 times within 3 months. I actually met you Kevin, you told me twice, in person, that you would look into this issue and you never follow up with me. This dealership is full of liars and they will do anything to try and save face on social media. Again, save your money and your car, find a dealership that cares about people. Here you will only find liars and thieves

Sterling BMW is the best orange county car dealership. I can't thank Justin Dayyat enough for the wonderful experience buying a new Z4. Not only was he willing to beat another OC car dealer's offer, but educate me on why they offered me this and that. He really took his time and I didn't feel pressured at any time. He took care of everything and I didn't have to wait for him to go back and forth for 2 hours with some finance manager to get the job done. Justin made it a great car buying experience. I will certainly see him when I'm ready to buy another BMW, which is inevitable. Thanks, Sterling BMW & Justin!!!! I love the car!!!

Really disappointed with the service center at Sterling BMW. If you are looking for a BMW dealership to service your car, this is NOT the place to go. There are many other BMW dealerships around with far better service departments.

1. They are very slow. Other reviews will mirror my thoughts. Expect to spend at least 1 hour when dropping off your car and getting a loaner vehicle. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

2. They do not have a selection of good loaner vehicles. They tried giving me an X1 when I brought my i8 Roadster in for a multi day service. When I said I was leaving, they miraculously had a 530i next door at Enterprise (better.. but come on). If you have a more high end car, you will not get a similar vehicle as a loaner. That to me is a sign that they do not care about their customers.

3. The service center advisor texted me saying my car would be done by 2pm that day. And to come at 4 for it to be fully charged. I came in at 4:30 and was told the car wouldn't be done until the next day! Had to take the loaner back and go home, wasting another hour of my day. Best part- he wasn't even apologetic, guess this happens all the time lol. He blamed it on the technician

I urge you- skip Sterling BMW for your BMW maintenance. Go to one of the other BMW dealerships nearby. You will thank me later. And this post isn't meant to be vindictive- hence the 2 stars. Just wanna save you guys some time and energy!

The Sterling BMW service department scams its customers. Ive had nothing but trouble with Sterling BMW and really regret going here. These guys are seriously worse than a used car dealership, if you can believe that. If you read the reviews about this dealership youll find dozens of horrible reviews. Theres a much better dealership right up the freeway that I've had much better luck with.

Ive experienced and overheard many different horrible experiences with Sterling. Ive heard service advisors tell customers to take a hike, right in the front of the dealership. I overheard one employee cussing in front of other customers about this or that (something about an issue with a car.) Honestly, nothing surprises me here. There are plenty of other options to take your car, including one right up the 55 freeway. Here is my story: I've bought 2 new and 1 used BMW from Sterling over the past 6 years and was about to buy a fourth. When I took my second car in to have a noise looked at they had it for 4 hours and never offered a loaner vehicle. They kept telling me, just a little bit longer. Just a little bit longer. When they finally did figure it out where the noise was coming from they insisted it would be fixed with a few parts, for a total of $800. Okay, great! Fix it up, lets get out of here. At this point I dont want to even argue if its covered under warranty or not. Just fix it and lets go!

My the time the car is out and fixed ive been at the dealership for 6 hours. I just wanted to get out of there!

Upon paying, and leaving the dealership, within 5 minutes, the noise is BACK. I just drove it home and called another dealership to figure it out.

This is not the one and only negative experience, and many other customers have had as well. These guys are predatory, complete liars and will do anything to make a dollar of their customers.

Do not trust them. As many have mentioned, there are other dealerships in the area. Good luck with your issues, I hope you read these reviews before taking your car in.

I called and was able to drop my car off on the spot as I was driving by and they fixed my car (check engine soon light was on) so fast and so efficiently - I was incredibly happy with my experience. They also text message me (at my request) and sent me a detailed video of my vehicle's inspection. Well done guys. I like the new tech and loved the BMW loaner.

This review is for a cross country transaction. I live in KS and purchased a CPO X3 and had shipped to KS from CA.
Initial interaction was good, this lasted about the first day. Took over a week to get the paper work "Next day". After confirmed receipt of paperwork at Sterling, took another week before arrangements began to be made for transport. If I had been there in person, I would have driven home with the car that day. Same consideration should have been made for transport; arrangements should have been initiated that day. During this time, my sales rep was extremely incommutative. I would need to contact several times for responses and updates. Was often given other contacts to reach out to. "No John, you're my sale rep, you get the info for me, I shouldn't need to be chasing down this info, You should supply"
One person I was directed to never once returned my correspondence even though I was told to contact him. Four requests later still received zero response.
No clear direction on paper work. Info on supplied paperwork was requested multiple times. No instructions given in regards as to what to do after receiving the vehicle.
Let's move to the vehicle. After THREE weeks received the vehicle. Keep in mind this is a CPO vehicle. Car rolls off the truck with the Check Engine light on. Seriously? The response from John and I quote "This is a minor issue that can be easily resolved" Really? Didn't Sterling inspect this car? Now it's my issue?
I firmly believe that one the sale was completed Sterling could care less about me. Vehicle was being shipped to Kansas, they're not going to get any service dollars from.

The service was great. I had my car flat bedded in as it would not start. I had no appointment but the were very helpful. They were out of loaner cars but the sent me to Enterprise for a rental and covered the cost of the rental. I picked up my car this morning. It started like a champ. The battery was charged and I had a new starter. It was washed and vacuumed. So pleased. Everyone was very kind.
The mechanic came out and spoke to me about my car and made some recommendations for timing of future services as I have a 12 year old car with almost 200,000 miles.

I went to BMW deciding between them and Mercedes. Irvin helped me out at sterling BMW and he was awesome! I ended up with BMW X3 M competition at a great price. Definitely the best experience I have had at a car dealership. Only advice is ask for Irvin at Sterling BMW and I guarantee you will end up with more than you expected, great customer service, and he really went out of his way to get me the best price.

I had an amazing experience from my initial contact, through to end, plus continued support. Very personable staff who made me feel I was and am a part of their family. Knowledgeable, if my question could not be answered, I was told so (simple honesty in business is so rare these days) and Alex Yorba my personal POC searched out the answers and followed up with me in a timely manner guiding at each step. I was so happy to pick up my BMW when work was completed and the staff truly shared my joy. You see, this was a bitter sweet time for me as my mother had passed after a long illness. I reside in the state of Washington and the staff worked with me on my time frame, no questions asked and kept her vehicle safe, pending my return for pick up. I cannot say enough, I am deeply touched by Sterling's sincerity and kindness I received.

I'm not sure if this dealer is suck but a sale man - Robert is really horrible sale man. He let my parents went around and around and not taking care of them at all. I came by to look at a Pathfinder and he didn't even ask me for test drive. I found a piece of broken plastic on passenger seat and ask him about that, he just threw it away and said not from a car. I have never seen any sale man screaming at the clients like this guy. He asked what was our nationality and right at the moment we told him we were Vietnamese his attitude changed. I would never, ever come back here or recommend anyone to this dealer...

Worst dealership! Stay away from Ken Babineau! Unless you are looking for lies and headaches and trouble! The man changes his word daily! He Is disrespectful and untrustworthy! On top of that, they constantly want to charge you for things that are under your maintenance warranty either when you take your car for services or when you want to return your lease! Worst experience! If you currently have a lease with them, don t return your car to them, and don t get into a new lease with them! You either already know how bad they are or will figure out once you return your lease!

Kristie was great to work with for my 2013 550i. It was easy to schedule a service and she explained what my car needed. The only draw back was that they didn t have any loaner cars but they covered the rental from Enterprise right next door and they have BMW s to loan out. Only out of pocket expense I came out on for the rental was the gas.
