Get a CPO (certified pre-owned) Ram 1500 tradesman. About a month and half ago. So the service was slow. I'm still waiting on registration, and my temp has expired so know I have no way to getting to work. They screwed up the automatic pay. They didn't even service the truck. I work at a chevrolet dealership, and had to diagnosed that the driver side headlight assmbly is defective, had to service the truck myself. I ask for a copy of the multi point inspection and, still didn't get it. Long story short, I will recommend not to go to the dealership. They half ass everything just to get your money.

I visited Star a couple of weeks ago to finally take care of an ignition switch recall. I'd tried other Jeep dealers in the area but they told me several times that they didn't have the part(s) in stock.

As instructed, I dropped my car off in the morning and was told I could pick it up later that afternoon and was given an estimate of how long the actual repair would take. I told them not to rush the repair and I'd pick up my car the following day.

I arrived five minutes before they closed. Thank goodness! When they say they close at six p.m., they mean it. The customer service rep was kind and quickly processed my paperwork. The wait for my car was longer than the paperwork processing but that was because my car was parked behind other cars. No big deal.

Based on that experience I'd probably return.

Zaire was an exceptional sales person. His personality and professionalism made me and my mother want to purchase a car from him. We had difficulty deciding what car to purchase. He not only took his time but he explained everything thoroughly and carefully to make sure we were making the right decision. We were already leading one vehicle and he made sure the transaction of turning in our vehicle to get the new vehicle went smoothly. I would highly recommend him again to friends and family members to purchase from Zaire. The others working at this dealership were very professional as well and made sure our needs were addressed as well.

Good service but very dishonest. When I fully purchased my new Jeep I was given 3 free oil changes. After my last free oil change I am now doing it on my own only to find my filter was never changed. Every oil change is at least 4 hours only to find the job half done?! I get it s free but don t tell customers what you re giving only to cut corners to save money.

worse dealership in country and worst service department they took 10 days to diagnose my car. then they need another week and $800 TO OPEN TRANSMISSION to look whats wrong is this some kind a joke any mechanic will tell you whats wrong, it has transmission problem. Star had no regard for old customer who had spent lot of money at there dlearship i feel like i was ripped off by them for past service they did on my car. i just got my car towed from there and took it to local mechanic they charged $130 to tell me what i already knew and they kept the car for 10 days and i could not go to work.....................

Star accepted the warranty coverage for my vehicle. I was told the vehicle would be ready and to pick up in 3 days. Luckily I called and found out it would not. I was told to call back the next day. The vehicle still was not worked on. This drag on for more than a week. I was then offered a vehicle rental for free but then my vehicle was finally released to me instead. A week or two later I realized that my cap to my antifreeze was gone. This was frustrating I had to order online a replacement.

I walked in intending to lease a 2018 or 2019 Chrysler Pacifica but the monthly payments were too high, so salesman Brian Perez suggested I buy one of their 2017 models left over in their inventory for almost a 30% discounted price. This brought my monthly payments down to where I wanted them. I'm thinking after 2 or 3 years I can trade in or resell the car for near the price I paid so will have saved a lot more money than from leasing. Try them out and ask for Brian!

Every time I come to star dealer service center it...

Every time I come to star dealer service center it doesn t matter if I have an appointment or not. I always wait over +4 hours to get my car serviced or even get an oil change. I think the communication is terrible here and if you decide to get your car serviced. Don t think you will be in an out. I have had my lease for 3 years now and when I mean every time I come to the service center I m never happy. Honestly I only come here because I leased my car from here. AGAIN!!!!! Every time i come to the service center over the last 3 year wait time and communication is terrible. If you know I m going to wait for the car and you know the wait time is over +4 hours why not tell the person to leave the vehicle and come back. This place is a waste of your time.

I came in there to get my used 2014 Chrysler 200. They're legit cleaning and prepping the car for me to take it home tonight! I can't wait . The guy that helped me out was Ronald. He was such a nice person and I think I got a good deal for my car, so look for him when you get there. Beside Ronald, the dealership have a professional atmosphere and made me comfortable as a costumer. Choosing a car, getting a good price on it was quick and easy. I would come back here again and recommend to my friends and families later in the future because I heard they have a referral program where you can get $100 when they buy. Overall everything was an excellent experience that's why I'm giving it a 5-star rating although I'm still waiting for my car! Thanks Ronald

Stars dealership was a friendly and smooth experience for me as a new car buyer. They helped me as much as they could to get me a good price for my new car. I understood my credit and possibility but my salesman Damien did all he could to get me the best price. He answered all my questions even the once that maybe didn t make sense but he was super friendly about it. Definitely felt like family in there. Damien was beyond friendly and had a great personality. Thank you for giving me the car I wanted. I m in love with my new 2020 Jeep Compass. Thank you so much! I appreciate all your help! I will def come back to this dealership in the future! I highly recommend Stars for your new car!

Terrible Terrible Terrible customer service and dealer practices by Star. On Friday I go online and select a car i was very interested in. I received and call from Star Chrysler Friday and I told them I'd be in Saturday.... I received a call Saturday morning and I again tell them I'd be in to talk and possibly start the purchase of the car. I get to the dealership and there's a wholeseale dealer taking the car away. Now I'm there to possibly purchase the car but they allow him to still take the car... not buy the car but to take the car! The wholesale person himself told me he dropped off one car and need a car to get back where he came from.... and took the car that I arranged to come and look at and possibly purchase. I will never ever visit Star Chrysler on Jamaica Ave ever again!!!!! And to top it off... the internet person calls me 4hrs later to ask me if I was still coming in??? ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

Went to Star on 8th Jan to get the straps on the fuel tank of my Ram 1500 replaced. Teresa greeted me with so much good energy, she took my info and said this job will take a while. After waiting a bit Teri inform me that the straps were all corroded and some parts needed to be ordered so it may take another day. She said she would update me on it s progress and she did every step of the way and stayed late for me to pick up. To me that s what service is and Teri is a great compliment to Star. Thanks for excellent service and for having such an awesome Service Advisor.

For people who are always working on the same things every day it should not have taken this long. Too bad there aren t too many options in Queens. Can t give 2 stars. Complete TORTURE.

An excellent experience with having my car service...

An excellent experience with having my car serviced at Star Chrysler. I cannot convey how grateful I am for giving me good HONEST service. Even if my assessment was overrated, compared to the dealership in Inwood where I went first, it is Night and Day, Apples and Arsenic. To summarize this sordid tale, let me start with the vehicle. A 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan. Less than 5k miles on it, however it sat un-driven for almost 2 years due to extraneous issues. Upon starting up, the Engine runs fine after I installed a new Battery. However, almost every error light was lit on the dash board and there where functionality issues like the Engine would not shut down right away after key removal. The side doors would not operate while the engine was on. Sometimes the Dome lights won't go out, some dials on the dashboard where not working, and other weird glitches. I am no Auto Mechanic but I have some knowledge of Electronics and these issues felt like a computer or other electrical related problem. To summarize, the service center in Inwood are, at best not very knowledgeable and/or honest. (I am being EXTREMELY conservative in my wording for the sake of this review). First wanting to charge for each symptom I described, then calling me later to tell me the Valve Body on the engine needed to be replaced along with the ABS module. There is more but to keep it short, I cancelled any further repairs the same day, ran back to pickup the car, paid the almost $200 service charge and got out of Dodge as quickly as possible. (Pun intended.) I only went to that service center despite the reviews because they were close. Next stop Star. Lou was very welcoming and listened and noted everything I had to say in terms of symptoms and what I suspected the problem to be. (I did not mention the previous place and experience.) He was very helpful and even agreed with my assessment that the problem was likely electrical in nature and not mechanical. Lou kept me updated as to the progress of diagnosis and repairs, and what they found. Seemed rodents had nested in engine compartment and had chewed into one of the cable harnesses, shorting out a few of the computer modules. Hence all the errors and glitches. Rather than to try to milk the situation like the other place, Star's technician's (They Rock by the way!) determined that they could repair the damaged cables without having to replace the entire harness. Replaced a few of the modules that where damaged by the shorting cables. Even inspected the vehicle for me. These guys are terrific. Lou is the best! The other place wanted wanted almost $2200 for work and parts that would not have fixed the problems. I drove out of Star with the feeling that the vehicle was properly repaired. Thanks again Star. It is refreshing to encounter an honest and knowledgeable service center. You are deserving of 5 stars.

If you're in the market for a Jeep, Chrysler, or Dodge do yourself a favor and make the trip to Star Chrysler and ask for Mike Lucas. Where other dealerships failed, Mike and the rest of the Star team delivered. In an industry stigmatized by high pressure and dishonest sales tactics, Mike could not have been more genuine, honest and accommodating. Don't waste your time anywhere else, go to Star and you'll be a customer for life.

Do not go to this dealership at all costs. This dealership is why people hate buying cars and they are the definition of a stealership. They will straight up try and rob you of your money.

I went to this dealership because they were the only dealer in my area that had a dodge charger with the color and options I wanted. I drove over 200 miles to get this car and they new it. When I walked in, they would not let me see the car or test drive it. Right off the bat, they threw a payment number at me that was complete BS. I asked them to show me how they broke down the numbers and they would not give me the numbers. I then wrote down the numbers that I wanted and what the payment would be, which was almost 100 less a month then what they were trying to tell me.

After we agreed on the price of the car and my trade, they made me wait for HOURS!! I got there at 12 pm and we had the numbers agreed on within 30 minutes. I did not get to see the finance manager for 4 hours and when I got in to see him, they must of thought I was an idiot and just sign the paperwork because the monthly payment was at the original payment again. Then they try and tell me that I won't be getting the rebates that Chrysler was offering on my car and that my plates would cost 700 dollars to get from NJ, which was completely wrong. Also, they tried upping the price of the car over 2000 dollars OVER MSRP!! After I called them our again about this, they made me wait another hour to verify the rebates. After that, they still would not honor the price of the car and kept trying to say that the "internet price" on the website was the best they could do and would not even honor that if I did not have it printer off. The "Internet Price" on their website was MSRP.

After them finally honoring the price we originally agreed on, I signed off on everything. Well, today I got my plates from them, but instead of getting new plates and registration, plus the difference in the registration and what I paid, I got my original plates that were on my trade and a registration that expires in 3 months. The transfer was 85 bucks, but they took 650 from me and never gave me the difference.

Needless to say, never give this dealership you time or your money. Dodge will be getting a call from me today because I am not letting them get away with this.

Poor customer service. Leased a new Durango and dealership had lost the second key. As soon as I drove the car out breaks were shaking and noticed both exhaust are crooked. Dealer refuses to get me a rental or loaner even if the car has to be there for 2 days. They feel it s my problems they don t have the second key or that breaks are bad or exhaust is bent. To the owner who is going to write the same generic response that he is sorry for my bad experience and to call to resolve the issue, please spare me the generic response since I ve called them numerous times to no avail.

Finally on thursday they told me the battery had too be replaced. Waist of my time.It took them 3 days just too replace a battery. Never taking my jeep too that dealer.
