Have been calling for over a week to setup a service appointment due to a Jeep recall. All that happens is I get transferred around, I leave messages which result in no call backs. The girl that answers the phone can't set up appointments and can't really help. Very unprofessional establishment.

they only on top of you before you sign after that dont even think of them calling you back if is for something they have to give you>..

Test drove a Grand Cherokee- Limited this morning. The Salesperson Brian was the epitome of Customer Service & Professionalism. We looked at th Grand Cherokee Limited & Altitude. Brian did a comparison of the 2 cars, explained their features & made sure I was fully informed. My test drive was very smooth. l never felt rushed or pressured. My Customer experience with Brian, was top notch. Before leaving, the GM took th time to come out & make sure I was satisfied. Will definitely return to make my purchase. Thank You .

I researched used vehicles for months on TrueCar and CarGuru. I received numerous calls and emails from various dealerships. I have to admit, I am very skeptical about car dealerships, not the most honest group of people to do business with. When I received the call from Ray Torres at Star Chrysler, I set up a couple of appointments to see/test drive a Jeep Grande Cherokee Limited X, but could not keep the appointments. Ray called me back of course, but not in an annoying way, when I finally made my way into the dealership it was a very comfortable experience, all of my many questions were answered. I felt like Ray was an old friend from way back, I was offered water and popcorn and the location of the dealership is only 10 minutes from my home.
It takes a lot for me to feel comfortable and purchasing a vehicle is a huge decision to make, doing business with Ray surprisingly was a great experience. I would definitely refer my friends/family to Star Chrysler to see Ray Torres, if ever they were in the market for a new vehicle.

I would never recommend this place I ordered a part in November and every week they said it will come and never did called everyday and in January I went for my money and they only want to give me half of what I paid. I was so upset because it was a Christmas gift for my husband and I was so pissed. And the guy who order the parts don't speak English and is rude and nasty.

Very unprofessional!!! When I called the store to speak to a sales consultant the receptionist answered the phone in mid conversation laughing with other people and asked me to hold on until she was finished talking , then she finally assisted me!

I have been to this place 2 time my first time I was seeing by Patrick in service
who did exceptionally well in helping me.
My second experience however wasn't so great all because of 1 rep T. Hynes.
Her attitude is the worst it's so bad that they call me for my car on Monday
I have yet to go get it because I wish not to deal with this lady. I rather wait for any other rep to assist.

Shout out to Tequan who sold me a Dodge Grand Caravan yesterday. This was the second time I purchased from Star. Most dealers don't like cash buyers but this dealership makes deals with cash buyers. Tequan listened to me and heard what I had to say about not wanted a back/forth negotiation. We made a deal fast and I was at the dealership an hour later with a cashiers check. I asked him to get me in/out fast and with the exception of a little wait from the person who handles registration/plates he kept up his end of the bargain. If you are looking for a dealership that welcomes cash buyers come to Star. And if want a salesperson who listens to you and delivers an experience you want/need I HIGHLY recommend asking for Tequan.

What an incredible dealership! and what an incredible experience I had buying my first car! I want to give a shout out to their customer service. They are literally phenomenal individuals and made the process of buying a car as easy as could be. Also, shout out to Zack, I'm telling you now, this man is a blessing, I kid you not. He took the time out of his day to ensure I had the exact Jeep I wanted. I had a specific model, color, and specific packages; and this man literally made my dreams come true!! he is absolutely phenomenal.

As you can imagine, buying a car is not an easy process; it can be intimidating and anxiety-inducing. Let me share my adventure with this place back in 2012 I purchased an 08 jeep mint cond, took it to this place for an oil change engine flush and transmission oil chang. They told me I had a leak on my differential.i took it back to the dealer they showed me under the jeep no leaks everything looked mint!! So I never went back to jeep hillside. On 10/24/18 I decided to give them the benefits of the doubt by asking for a simple procedure again an oil change and engine flush. Ask them if they recommend a transmission oil change they said no this jeep does not require it. Mind you I found my invoice yesterday they charged me for one when I first brought the jeep in!!! Now they also tell me my water pump was leaking,and found some black grease build up that I've never seen before I came here I'm always whipping down my engine compartment so I know what's what under the hood and I just had it changed 2 months ago brand new. And that the differential needed an oil change, which I did over the summer. But no leak now. When I told them I had all the work done and checked they began to tell me how using gas station mechanics is the worst thing to do fine I said. On top of spending $220 on this procedure I also purchased a part for $320 total spent $540. So I took my car thinking It was in the care of professional's.went to work next day from queens to Brooklyn came home late. Went to work the following day Friday now I decided to come home early as I'm pulling in to my parking spot i see a huge oil spot on my space i look under my truck and behold a leak that was close to a trickle. I take it to my mechanic he finds plug hanging by a thread!!
Hes tightens it the leak stops.i put a qt of oil and take pictures of everything I wish I can post but is you friend me on Facebook I have all of them posted. Israelrivera jr. Show the pics to manager he refund me $5 when I spend $ 5.65 I only ask that they check the engine and replace the oil that was lost. I then decide to sneak in to the garage finding the mechanic air blowing the engine compartment he tells me the problem was the plug was not holding he replaced it.i then called he a lier scammer!!!! I replaced that oil pan 3 months ago and have all the paper work to prove it. He then tells me what do I want him to say . I replied the truth you screwed up! Dnt lie to my face. His response was this happens all the time I then blew a fuse and told him people work hard to make car payments and trust this place he should be fired!!! For being so irresponsible! Or scamming people to get repairs done or to get a new car. If my trust get any problems with engine or damaged valve I will take legal action. I strongly rec after coming here have your car checked!!!! After!!!!!

Great experience at this dealership. Leon is a very good sales rep and a good person in general. My mother recently purchased a car and Brian Perez was an excellent salesman. He was patient, kind and informative. I asked her what I should rate him and she enthusiastically said, 5/5 of course!!!!!! . That s says it all!

The worst dealership that I bought a car in my life never saw the car had to dance on the car into the body shop comes out with all bubbles all over the car scratches all over the car No fluids in the car I would never buy a car from them again And this is 2016 Jeep Cherokee. And my car is still in the body shop

Staff was pleasant. Wish they would work by appointments on at least two days. This way working customers dont have to spend most if not all of the day waiting. For most by the time the car is finished it's to late to go work unless you work close by the dealer.

The car is great but their service department is a Joke. I would have given 5 stars if they did not include the free 2 year service and maintenance. Take your car to PepBoys or do it yourself. That free 2 year service and maintenance comes with headaches and frustration.

Brought my car in today to have it serviced and was turned away because they were unprepared and unorganized. Called ahead 2 days prior to set this up. I am pissed.

This place is horrible as far as customer service. I brought my Pacifica from there. I have been calling for 2 weeks to get in contact with th3 service Dept and ha e left my name 3 times for someone to return my call. And I am still waiting.......so I called again and spoke to the Service Manager Bob and I told the issue I was having and he gave me a lame explanation on why so one picks up the phone. And when I asked him if this is standard? He no answer..then starts be dismissive as if I was troubling him. I see why they have a three star rating the Service dept doesn't even deserve that. If you going to Spend thousands of dollar I advice you not to Spend it at Star Chrysler Jeep and Dodge there are so many other dealers that you could give your hard earn money to and not feel ignored or like a bother. Patronize any other Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealer just not this one. They have no idea what customer service is.

Inquired about a Mini Cooper which they stated on the phone is available to see. We set an appointment and I travelled 1hr30min from Manhattan and when I arrived they said that the owner's wife is driving it and I could come back the next day. Not possible since the friend I was inquiring for was leaving to Brazil the next day. Completely wasted mine and my GF's time, and they made zero effort to apologize, shrugging their shoulders like they had no responsibility to show what they said they had.

I heard this dealership on the radio and decided to go check them out to see what the have to offer. And to my surprise i was able to leave with a brand new jeep fully loaded with all the bells and whistle. And im positive it couldn't have happen without the help of LEON RAI. awesome sales person. Every time I bring my car in I speak to the rep but he dosent listen to me from the beginning my car had 30,000 mi I told him my throttle body need to be change the light indercator turns on when I rip the car but 20 mi later it's off he tell me that they cannot help me if the light is not on I told him get in the car and I'll should you no reply he act's like he's paying for it tell me now my car had 36543.mi it's not cover this guy sucks he makes this service station sad to feel that we the people pay good money for the cars we drive and they don't what to help well I guess I'll fix it my self that you !

Leon, flat out lied about being able to take back my leased vehicle. He informed me that i needed to go back to where i bought it from which I knew was incorrect according to the bank.

Horrible. False advertising. I tried to purchase a small SUV from Star Jeep. Their website says they offer 0% APR + cash allowance for qualified customers.
My credit score is over 730 , I have a house and my credit card debt is less than 15% of total credit limit.
They wanted a co signer to get 0% and I provided them with my wife's info. Her credit score is over 760. They are offering 1.9% because we never had a car financed before. If we are not eligible for 0%, who is?
I wanted to report this dealership for over advertising on BBB and found out their BBB business review is already F on a scale of A+ to F.

Terrible customer service. Teresa is the worst. You guys sold me a defect Dodge Dart. Complained 3x this year about my transmission was told 3x there was nothing wrong with it. Today I just received a recall on the transmission. It's not about the fact you stole my money, it's the fact you let me drive a defected, dangerous car off the lot on numerous occasions. I would not recommend this place. My suggestion is to go travel a further distance if need be to avoid this dealership at all costs.

hey its me again! you "performed my recall" my car died in the middle of a highway. Lucky I didn't get hit while the car you "served" died. Ok so where do I start ., these people are Con artist . So I go there and I end up buying a Jeep Grand Cherokee from them and the deal was that the jeep I was buying was 10,000 dollars so I agree on it and now two years down the line I was actually looking to get another jeep and come to find out that STAR JEEP DEALERSHIP put 6,000 in hidden fees and now I owe 12,000 on a truck that I originally was 10,000 so they they screw big time with hidden fees that I had no idea about till two years later ....

SO ANYONE THAT WHANTS TO BUY A CAR FROM THEM SHOULD BRING A LAWYER TO LOOK AT ALL THE PAPER WORK BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH A REGULAR PERSON CAN FIND ALL OF THESE HIDDEN THINGS THAT THEY PUT ON YOUR PAPER WORK ..

Usually getting a new car can be stressful but not at Star Jeep. It was such a pleasant experience. My salesman Brian Perez was so pleasant. He is a product expert. When I told him the options i wanted he showed me an upper model of the same vehicle, i got a lot more car for the same money. The sale and business manage are also very professional and pleasant to deal with.

Brought my truck in for warranty work on my lift gate on Friday February 18th. When I picked it up on the following Monday, the plastic on the inside of my tailgate makes the most annoying rattle. They won t even take the time to properly place the clips back that were obviously damaged while my vehicle was in their possession.

Should not have even one star! 2015 Doge Ram City Van still under warranty overheated with warning light to stop immediately. Van was towed to Star Chrysler this past Friday (today Wednesday). They had no room and was turned away. Paid additional towing fee to bring in Saturday. They still have not looked at. Every day I call and they say tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. This is a commercial work van desperately needed for work. Today (Wednesday) I now hear Thursday. STAR CHRYSLER DODGE HAS THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT IV'E EVER EXPERIENCE!!!!!! DON'T TAKE YOU VEHICLE UNLESS YOUR WILLING TO WAIT FOR THE TOMORROW THAT NEVER COMES!!!!!
