Nice place to spend time with your family but. You...
Nice place to spend time with your family but. You can't find an actual pool to swim in, just about 2-3 Jacuzzis and you can't take your sport camera like a gopro. But pretty nice place overall.

We went for the first time with my daughter and her friend and I was disappointed with a buch of youths jumping queues, swearing and being disrespectful. We have to watch them having a go to a couple with kids in the lockers. It was shocking.
The changing rooms was full so we change by the toilets to my dismay I discovered it was a camera there! Never again!
Great pool a bit old equipment but attractions great. In the UK, one of the better open a little bit of rubbish and bugs coming from the outside but if someone puts fun and adrenaline at No. 1, it's something for him.
Pretty fun even in the winter months. Staff are friendly and dealt with an emergency well
Easily spend a couple of hours here. Lots of rides. No pools. Confident swimmers only. Personally I think it is expensive
This place is honestly one of the best water parks in the UK. I only got to experience the indoor slides, but I was still very pleased. I will definitely be returning in the summer for the outside slides!
Good slides but at the end of the end of the day too much time waiting in queues. Come at quieter times if you want to avoid frustration.
Kids loved it, my daughter is only just over a meter but a good swimmer, so she could go on all the flumes. Not to much queuing and it seamed busy, my son is only three and is usually scared of swimming pools, this was one of the few times he absolutely loved the kids pools with the small slides and being able to walk about in the pool and the water jets. Just could do with a bit of a revamp/ redecorated as looking a bit old and worn.
Fantastic day out. reasonable ticket prices, you can go out and re-enter if needed. Great eat all you like Chinese just next door for after or lots of other resteraunts aswell.
It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Not cheap, but good fun. W went early and got the early bird for 2 hours, which was enough for us. We were amazed we didn't have to queue for any of the slides (other than for 1 or 2 people) , even towards the end. Maybe we where lucky.
Nice Slides and one thing. sometimes the car park will be Stacked with cars. and i will take 10 to 30 minutes to find a space. the car park need to be bigger. (Edit: Oh. Ok its fine. )
This place never gets old, classically fun, been around forever, prices are a bit steep, but its a good day out!
Splashdown is fun for kids and adults. There are rides for those adventures at heart there are fast yet super fun rides and for the calm relaxers there are slow splashy rides! If your looking for a great time go to splashdown!!!
We where there over last summer and it was just 100% fun
Nice place to take kids and have fun, more fun of fun shops and fast foods in one place!
Splashdown is a Bournemouth culture classic, I went here as a kid and as part of my job I take Autistic adults here, it's actually a really good time considering it's a water park in England, the rides are fun, the Mississippi drifter is chill, and there are genuinely some actual thrills to be had here. as a support worker they had free admission, which is amazing and really helps the people support. the only downsides are it's a little pricey, and the walk to the outside slides is long and freezing cold (this had been a problem since I was 6 years old) maybe and finally they could provide some shelter between the outdoor slides as it's almost not worth going on them because of how unpleasant it is walking on the concrete chilled path to get to them. Still a diamond place to take the kids, and enough excitement for the adults too.
Ignore the bad reviews, Splashdown is really really fun and I have been on most of the water slides and no accidents have happened, they are completely safe if you go down them properly and wait for the traffic light to go to green before entering and going down. My favourite "water slide" is the Grand Canyon because you get to take your time and go at your own pace, it is quite relaxing actually. I recommend you visit Splashdown, you won't regret it.
Pretty shoddy standards regarding staff. Average age of the staff/lifeguards was about 14 and some of them had no idea of the policies regarding safety. Unfortunately there was an incident and none of the staff wanted to step up and take action, not even the duty supervisor. We received a partial refund but will NOT be visiting again.
We got there a little before 9:00 and queued to go in. We were second in and we had the place to ourselves for the first hour or so! We did all of the rides in 50 mins with no queuing or waiting. - Including the outside rides! The place was empty considering the time of year, I was expecting it to be a lot worse! After our first circuit of the rides, we went through them all again, and apart from infinity whistled through them in virtually no time. The queues were starting to build about 10:30 and so with some careful queue watching managed to do them all again with no long waits.
By two hours we were exhausted and glad it was time to hit the showers!
Staff were friendly and helpful, and keen to make sure everything went well.
The changing facilities were clean, as you would expect first thing.
To just wanted to thank Kevin at Splashdown Poole. When my wife and I separated as soon as we got into our costumes with one child each! In our excitement we did not make a plan for how long we were going to stay and to top it all went off with two locker keys each not having the right stuff should one of us need to come out early. My wife was trying to cope by herself with our little one who has additional needs, not sure what to do but wait until I hopefully passed by. As luck would have it Kevin came along asked if she was ok, then tried master keys to open other lockers and when that plan failed gave her his own towel for our little one. Helpful assistance 101. Can't thank him enough. Best wishes The Marrills
Good variety of rides. Visited on a school day there was no waiting for a single ride. Was great.
absolute blast FROM THE PAST, the space bowl tickled my pickle, especially with the good looking boy running it ;) the water wasnt the only thing that was wet that day!!
Expensive, crowded and spent most of our time queuing. Kids liked it.
Nice place but parking was hell (worst than London) and place was super crowded. Overall good experience but could be better
Good place for slides ... but if you want more of a relaxing pool experience then this isn t the place for you. We were very disappointed when we were mislead on what the place was like.
It looks amazing and some of my friends have been there and they say it's awesome. X
Great selection of slides and stuff but the lifeguards are all pretty arrogant and rude.
It's all good but there isn't a swimming pool where you can just swim all there is just rides
I'm not saying it's bad but it would be better if there was a normal swimming pool :)
Amazing, go for Sunset sessions. A brilliant family fun day.
I wanted to enter the queue massacre a lot of people in the middle where it was a little bit dirt and worms outside
It's not as bad as some other reviews have suggested and we went at peak time so it was extremely busy. I found no problems with the cleanliness and the staff were also polite and courteous. The floors in the changing rooms were soaking wet and cramped, but with the sheer number of people there this was only to be expected. The stairwells leading up to rides became congested with people queueing up and others trying to get back down. I'm surprised this hasn't been flagged as health and safety issue. My children enjoyed the rides thoroughly said they want to return, which we will, but probably at an off peak time. Overall, I would recommend a visit this park if you can avoid the peak time.
Best place I have ever been in my whole life! Decorations everywhere, some bits are a tiny bit dirty but that doesn't matter, as long as your having fun! Flumes are perfect for all ages. Some of the flumes are a bit slow at the beginning so I'd like to suggest if you could add some more water to the flumes just so it's more slippery. That would make the park even better. Other than that it is AMAZING!
Fantastic day out for four of us aged 20, 2 hour ticket wouldnt of been long enough for us but the all day is a bit too much also. Many different levels of rides and some surprise you!! situated in a huge complex with great places to eat afterwards
Kids had a Fab time loved all the slides. The cafes ok but warm if you're not getting wet.
Always good. Kids do all rides with me twice in under 2hrs ;)
Poor Changing Rooms, long queue to go on the water slides, needs updated, looks all the same for many years nothing ever change getting abit Boring and too Expensive really disappointing.
Great waterpark for the price. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great for older kids and adults but only a few things to do for under 5s
Went to the park for the first time last week, enjoyed it until I injured myself on one of their rides. I came off the rubber ring leading to me smacking my chin on the slide causing injury which lead to me having stitches in hospital. The staff were helpful at the time, however I have been trying to get hold of them and it's been impossible. I've had to send a few emails of which I am not getting any reply, also tried to call and the call just cuts you off which is useless. Don't pay to go here, waste of money and you'll end up injured.
Toilet and changing facilities are grubby and cramped. Slides and rides are awesome, and well worth the trip.
The UK's most exciting indoor & outdoor water rides.
Brilliant fun enjoyed by adults, teens, and young children alike
I used to go here when I was a kid. It hasn't changed to much in 20 years. It was busy due to school holidays, so I expected ques. The problem is the car park is to small so spent 20 minutes finding a space. Then the park have installed a tag system for the rides, I assume to reduce staff sitting at the top of each slide telling you when to go. The problem is none of this system worked properly, causing further delays to ques as people wasted time messing around with these tags. I think they need replacing or scraping as very pointless and more of a problem than help.
Splash down splash down splash down. What a place I love it like I love you kids. It's fun for the whole fanily. They have thrilling, relaxing and something in between. It's pricey but hey so crashing a plane and that looks Hella fun, I don't recommend going in winter because your know you what will shrivel up and die. Otherwise banging place 5/5 stars please open like 30-40 more around the are
no social distancing at all!!! Everyone rammed into cafe area, not a mask in sight!! Disgraceful!! Sat uncomfortably and watched as people are and left. Not one table was wiped! Staff serving good taking masks off and on, not one washing hands. As a nurse I spend my day trying to prevent all this!!! Its really shocking to see. When Poole had a massive rise in covid 19 splashdown will certainly have played their part!!
Ticketing limited due to covid controls, so virtually no queue. Great day out!
A fantastic day out. Splashdown provides a nice range of flumes, rapids and pools to cater for all tastes. The water's warm and the indoor air too. I've been many times. Today it was a quieter day so no queuing really. A fantastic day out and well worth the money.
Reasonable pricing for kids to enjoy whole day of swimming and water slides. Easy parking and Tesco nearby too for snacks and drinks.
It gets very busy and you will have to que for the slides
very good water park for the area , nice all year round , i would recommend
It's a really good place for a family but the waiting is unbelievable I only managed to get on 9 rides in two hours
Amazing family water park with lots of rides for all ages. Less showers and changing rooms. But park is fun.
Disappointed to visit. Most of the rides are dark. Lifeguards were but don't offer any support even in case of incident. They don't even jump in to rescue or support even if they see kids drowning. Will never visit.
Loads of fun for all the family. Water on the cool side outside of summer.
It's really great and has a really nice cafe amazing 5 stars
Really good day out . Not too crowded and not overly expensive. Will go again
Good place great fun slides were fantastic h great couple of hours
Quiet weekday visit.. value for money..staff friendly
We had a great time, slides for all ages. Quite expensive, but you get a lot of time.
Great day out with the kids. Enough slides to keep all ages happy.
Best to go when the outdoor slides are open also.
Great fun, had a couple of hours, could have stayed longer.
Its Brilliant some of the rides are great others are terrifying
Too busy, attendants "watching" two slides. Went down Red River when light green and 5 yeat old boy stuck in slide. Managed to swing past him otherwise could have killed him. No attendant around to tell. His mother distraught at bottom. He More
Absolutely brilliant place! Great fun, no matter what your age, one word of advice go as early as possible or later in the day, peak times involve a fair amount of queuing
I went here with my youthclub and i instantly fell in love with one of the lifeguards, although he looked like something from wallace n gromit he was an absolute spicy minx, i left with his number and we're going out later, its a real shame though as ive forgotten his name, all i can say is hes short, stumpy and a little bit of a weapon xxx
Awesome place to ged rid off of ur stress i d go there every week if i lived close by
With small boys it was important to know which slides were more suitable. We didn't need "he'll be fine" when asking about every slide. More fun for older 10+
We visited the water park while camping at New Forest. It was not far and FREE paeking. The water rides was very good with 5 ulder childrens rides and 2 kids pools. It was not cheap but I think it was worth the money. We went during the summer Holidays on a very hot day so it was busy but there was only about a 10 min wait on most the rides but one was about 30 mins. If your camping there is a Tesco super store if you need to pick anything up on the way back to camp or home. We took food but had to eat in the car which is fair play but wish we knew there was so many resturants on the estate before we went there must have been about 6 like TGI, KFC, chineese and others.
