I had a good time at splash town with my kids and my sister and nefews and niece mykayla it was so fun nice time with my family thank u god for my welcome home time with my family

Having never been there before it was amazing. It was recommended to me by a friend. I went there to celebrate my 16th birthday with a few friends and it was amazing. I would happily go back there. The slides were fun and it was the best birthday experience I have had in a while!

Was good the staff did there best to enforce social distancing, but with a load of teenagers about it was like trying to heard cats.

I like it and the rides are fun, could be cleaner though and changing room are small

Great for older kids but there wasn t much to do for toddlers which made the entry fee look quite expensive.

Not a brilliant experience! I'll keep this short and to the point. The Chlorine levels seem to be horrendously high!!!! My daughter didn't opt to wear goggles, until spending 10minutes in the water. Wasn't there for too long. It literally stripped a Pandora ring my wife was wearing. I know you're not meant to wear them in the pool but it hadn't been a problem elsewhere. Won't go again.

Eight hours of slides with the kids - fab.
It was very very busy between 1 & 5pm. If getting the two hour ticket try to avoid.
The food was awful so go out and and eat and come back.

Place was really overcrowded and poorly managed! Children would go down a slide immediately after someone else and the staff did not notice or care. There were too many people on one ride that a tube got jammed with kids and someone actually had to inform a member of staff because they were oblivious to the situation! Would not recommend!

A bit stupid that you have a limit on the time you spend in the pool.. typical boringmouth leisure, such an aweful area; so glad I live in Chelmsford.

Went here with one of my best childhood friends at the time. We spent hours driving to this place because we knew it would be worth it. Easily one of the best waterparks I've ever been too. I have also added the certificates we got at the end.

An absolutely fantastic experience and great flumes for daring folks! The only problem I've ever encountered is the staff. I booked an all day ticket and the people at the front booth clearly said we could ride until the end of our multiple hour limit. However, after 2 hours we were kicked out because we were given the wrong pass. But otherwise it is a marvellous day out. Just a warning though - it's rather pricey!

Was a little dirty, but my kids had a lot of fun, not much for parents to do though

It's OK for a couple of hours, but there are long waits for the inside slides at peak times.

I took my hamster Timothy to splashdown this weekend and it s safe to say I m beyond distraught. To start I got told little Timothy wouldn t be allowed to enter any of the slides but we negotiated our way around it. After that mishap, I took him onto the plug hole, his personal favourite slide. Although this time it didn t go as planned. I was stood waiting for him at the end of the slide as he went down. 5 minutes later, I couldn t find timmy and still haven t been able to since. RIP Timmy , fly high my little angel

Absolutely incredible! I love this place for the price and crazy activities!

Over crowded but that may be because of the time of year. Free parking so that was good. The changing rooms were quite filthy. The kids liked it though but I wouldn't want to go back

Awesome place to go, starting to show it's age now in places. Could do with a modernisation

Fantastic place for young people AND o.k. for the knots so young, I'm over retirement age and loved it.the staff were very helpful, the food was o.k. but very slow ,otherwise a very very good day

Very good waterslides, will easily keep you entertained for 3-4 hours

Great for young people who want to go on scary flumes all the time but not for those who want a chilled time while others go on flumes

Great morning out. Slides super fun. Shame no easy slides for under 1meter ones (had to leave my little one home)

I loved Splashdown as it is very fun and has a wide variety of flumes and slides that target people between the age of 7-16. However there is no place for the adults to go so they can watch their younger children, other than the cafe. We have not been able to find any information on when the outdoor slides open and it would be useful if we could.

Superb, it was busy and that was at reduced capacity due to social distancing.
Its all about the slides, no pool to swim or splash just slides a plenty.

I found the rides a bit too scary for my liking but I can see others enjoying them. Check the website for opening times as they are inconsistent throughout the year.

Fantastic place ! We had a great time. I have decided to edit my review due to review comments about social distancing. We bought tickets for 3 hour time session. The line up was big outside , most of if not any where wearing masks. Not Splashdowns fault. Upon entering the building it was just one family at a time. There were large plastic screens, our keys were in trays of disenfectant . Thewristbands also intrays of disinfectant. Going into the change rooms, there were staff members cleaning the floor water. Changeroom were clean. It was other members of the public in the changing rooms not social distancing . I don't think it is the fault of the staff if people still don't get it ? The cafe area was fine, tables were distanced enough. Staff serving food are behind a big plastic screen. It was difficult to hear her, plus I had a mask on and it was hard for her to hear me because of it. Whilst lining up for a drink members of the public were not social distancing from me. It saddens me to read reviews from people that comment about this. We all know what to do now it's been drummed in for the past six months ! There was hand sanitizer , sinks with full soap dispensers in the toilets . It was just nice to have a bit of normality , family fun, seeing people laughing, talking and enjoying the afternoon. Splashdown did have changes to their usual practice in light of Covid. For people that are generally concerned about social distancing and face masks ect. Maybe going to places like that you should avoid, it's not fair to put one star reviews when it's the general public not doing it. We felt safe there , plenty of staff making sure people were being safe on equipment and pool areas . My kids had an amazing day and I think we enjoyed it all the more because it's been so long waiting for places like that to open again. Please people if you have issues about Covid safety ect just speak to a member of staff of the place your visiting.

A brilliant day out for the family, we spent 4 hours here and still didn't get go on all the slides

What an immense place this is even for a 37 year old but the 2 year old had just as much fun!! Brilliant!!

Calais Docks have nothing on this place!! The most over crowded place out there, they must not have a "Maximum People" limit. The Bucanner pool felt like I was in the bath at home it was that rammed

Had 3 hours, loads of fun! Only let down wad price. Spectators have to pay to sit in caffe and prices expensive.

Great places for a family day out. A different slide round every corner. Highly recommended. Even the eateries nearby are good.

Brilliant childrens pool with water cannons, fixed boat and slide, very shallow which our 18 month old daughter loved as she was able to stand up and walk around

Really good for older children who are confident swimmers. However if you have a child who is over the 100cm minimum height for flume riders who may still be a little nervous about going on their own it is not the best. My youngest child is 4 and over the minimum height restriction but was unable to go on any of the smaller flukes due to being told they were unable to co ride on a parent's lap. Having visited many waterparks this is the first time I have been told not to hold a younger child on my lap. This meant she was only able to play in the smaller pool which didn't keep her occupied and left her quite upset. Other than that good facilities on tower park. Adequate parking and clean.

I absolutely love splashdown amazing ride keep u entertained for hours staff are amazing friendly helpful I would recommend splashdown for familys and kids

Great day out, kids ran about all day having loads of fun. food is OK.

Absolutely awesome. Brilliant range of water flumes from gentle and funny to severe and terrifying! Pretty efficiently run and the staff seem really nice and helpful. We had a fantastic time and absolutely no complaints!

Great fun for all if a little over priced.
Avoid during the school holidays if you value your sanity

Had a good time here - but social distancing was pretty much non-existent. As it is pre-book only we were surprised how many people they let in

It's reaaallly fun, but just waterslides and a tiny spa pool. The amount and fun of waterslides makes up for this though. Would recommend.

The kids loved it plenty of flumes and fun but very expensive and spend most of your time queuing for the rides.
If you wear glasses or contact lenses forget it as you are not allowed them. I can understand why but sort of ruined it not being able to see the kids having fun. But end of the day still had an enjoyable time

My umpteen visit to splashdown, as with previous visits we had an enjoyable day. I do feel the need to mention a few points; the staff were distant, generally unhelpful and a member of staff in reception managed to have a conversation by just nodding. The changing area and showers require updating. This place has a serious turnover and there seems to be a real lack of investment.

Well run, with cheery staff. Very little queue time, even at peak time. Fantastic fun for all ages.

Great water park. Well-maintained, friendly staff, and slides suitable for all ages and levels of thrill-seeking.

Great day out. The queues can be very very long but the flumes are good.

The best 2 hours I have ever spent with my 10 year old

Not the cleanest of water parks, cafe size is laughable and the price of 60 for 2 x adults and 2 x children is rather expensive for what it is. Other than that not a bad venue.
