Been here couple of times already and with the best intentions of comming back in the future. Easy to find and access. Plenty of dining solutions outside to chose from. Splashdown itself not big but surely entertaining and lots of fun for your little ones. Plenty of supervision and actually reacting to horse play and youngsters running around so small children are safe and the place is well maintained. Definitely worth visiting and for the price - really good day out with the family.

Splashdown is a very fun place to go, there was more than enough slides to fill a lengthy time, we spent 6 hours there. There are chutes for all ages, from under 5's to the greatest of thrill-seekers. They had ring rides and ringless rides with a lovely lazy river like ride called the Mississippi drifter great for a relaxing ride to break up the chutes. Sadly there is no pool indoor or out other than one small outdoor pool and a small area above two rides with a jacuzzi to chill in. However, you won't want to stop! That was the only downside the rest is all positive. Food was average but you don't go for the food you go for the 'rides' woudk definitely recommend going in the summer for the extra outdoor rides, I have no idea whether it is cheaper in the winter but the extra slides would be worth the extra money. Great fun for the whole family and I would most certainly recommend to anyone who wants to go to anywhere alike.
Good fun, but... lifeguard couldn't do his job could clearly see I was drowning and didn't help I was very lucky to have pulled myself out the water, if it wasn't for pure luck really I would be dead, when I managed to get myself out the only response I got from the lifeguard was " you shouldn't have gone on the slide if you can't swim", didn't ask if I was okay, and didn't seem to bothered about what had happened, it it wasn't for my arm span and luck I would be dead due to poor work ethic from a lifeguard, BE CAREFUL!
Slides are great, only downside was a rude lifeguard, I'd just swallowed a mouthfull of water after falling of my rubber ring at the end of the slide and was trying to get back on, the lifeguard snapped'just slide down' twice at me!!!!!
Amazing place and so much fun. Down side is that there were a lot more people then we thought there would be. So social distanceing was hard with so many young people who didn't care about personal space. The staff were trying there best to keep the lines apart.
Had an AMAZING time with my kiddo s, although i did bang my head and had to speak to the manager. However they were very kind and helped my injured self out.
Great fun, as always, for my 12-year-old and friends though very crowded given rainy summer holiday weekend. Queues for many of the indoor rides though not so much for the (better) outdoor ones
Visiting on a Friday and a school inset day helped ensure the park was quiet. My kids 13 and 11 spent 5 hours on the waterslides and to be honest would have stayed until closing time 9pm. Very little to no queuing and was pretty clean too. It's probably not suitable for under 5 years though as only a limited number of slides for them. Being in October (although still 20 degrees) the outside slides only opened for an hour which was the only letdown. Still nowhere else like it in the UK.
Overpriced, dirty, safety systems on flumes that rarely work, lack lustre staff, who'd barely raise an eyebrow if you drowned. Unfortunately my kids like it despite the inevitable veruccas.
Good value, and lots to do. I found that it wasn't the easiest to find the rides we wanted when we first arrived (it was fairly poorly signed inside) however once you learn the layout it's worth it.
A brilliant day out, the slides are all really cool, if a bit tame. They let themselves down a bit on presentation- it could be cleaner. The rides outside are also not very clearly signposted. But, all in all a really great day out!
I went to this amazing water park and conquered many of my fears. I was sceptical at first but then I got over it and went on some rides that I was scared of. The staff were very helpful and informative. I would definitely recommend it for fearless people
A great place to bring the family. Lots of great slides. We didn't have to wait long at all. There are outside slides which were very quiet. They are quite steep. But once you've done them it's fine.
Really fun, kept my family entertained for all 6 hours, the slides are really good and there are a wide variety, but they could a tad larger as the adults came out with a few bumps and scrapes
It's a flume park. Large variety of flumes, of all sizes, shapes and lengths. These come in a variety of excitement factors, being mild to extreme. Also a quite lengthy ring rapids section, although I'd advise that young children should be supervised here at all times.
Entering you go straight to the payment desk. Being a little pricey I find for what is actually being offered. As it doesn't take long to get around each flume and the excitement wears off after a few rounds on each one.
Each flume is being policed by life guards, some may have more than one. Others being just one, for example the outdoors section.
The outdoors section has a set of 3 flumes which can be accessed via the tower built. It is an open outdoor area, so in around winter time this is very cold. Also what doesn't help is the steel stair case in which you have to walk up to reach the flumes you wish to go down, as this is very hard going on your bare feet and is very cold also.
There is a small waiting area for those not wishing to participate with a cafe, being fairly priced and stocking both hot food items and drinks.
The 3 stars I have given is due to the above mentioned outdoor area and for the lack of a normal swimming pool. They believe a small spa pool makes up for this, however it is extremely small and is packed full all the time due to it being an access point for 2 flumes.
In summary, it provides fun for all ages. Mostly that being children and parents. Certain revisions could be made to make this place an excellent facility.

Good water park just get boring once you go there after a few times as it's just the same thing and nothing ever changed about it best time to go is in summer as you can go to the outdoor slides
We went there a family of four. Kids loved it and ran up and down wanting to try all the slides as much as possible, but I do think there is not much else to do for adults. There is one type of Jacuzzi, but when it gets busy it's not very likely you will get a place in it. So basically it's great place for older children who can go on their own, or adults who love slides.
Also I kept checking our bank account to see if the deposit for the wrist bands was returned, and I don't think we ever got it back.
It was fun, and we will probably return just because it's the closest water park, but I've definitely been to much better ones.
Fantastic slides/flumes, all staff very professional and hard-working doing their best to keep the public safe. We even managed to sort out a query 're payment from the manager who was also very busy at that time. Reception staff amazing . Many thanks .. our kids had a great time- we will definitely visit again.
Fantastic day out, been twice now and will go again and again, even better with the Covid measures as there are less people there so queuing is much less
