We bought our 2017 Honda CR-V from Al Gleichauf and it was the best experience we have ever had with purchasing a car!!! He wasn't car salesman annoying or pushy and answered question after question with the patience of a saint. I loved his smile and sense of humor, which is very important to me in dealing with what we all think is a "stressful situation".... the dreaded buying of a car! We found it just the opposite, pleasant and fun...whoever heard of that? lol

This was probably the best car buying experience I've had. We worked with Joe on a certified Honda CR-V. The price was great and they offered what I wanted on my trade. The finance part was easy, and beyond a one-time offer for Honda Care there was no extra pressure to buy a zillion warranties. I was able to pick up my car within one business day and I'm confident this was the best buy/

I bought my daughter a used 2016 Honda Civic with about 6000 miles on it. Julian was our salesman and made the transaction a pleasure. He was knowledgeable and very friendly. The kicker is, my daughter had the car a couple days and noticed that there was some damage to the front bumper which we had not noticed when we bought the car. I contacted Julian to let him know. My daughter had to bring the car in for their in house undercoating and some floor protection mats (a weather tech type) and Julian said they would check it out when they did the other work. She dropped the car off and they provided a rental. Later in the day my wife called me to let me know that we couldn t pick the car up because they were replacing the front bumper of the car.. That s a classy move and I will be buying another car from Ide.. thanks Julian and your whole team... Norman Klein

I recently bought a 2018 CRV at Dick Ide Honda, and Brad Constantino was my salesperson. Unfortunately for me, I broke my ankle in the middle of the process of buying this car. Brad worked with me to negotiate a great deal and even came to the hospital to complete the deal so that I would not lose this great deal/car. After the sale, Brad continued to go above and beyond by meeting with me weeks later when I was finally able to drive my new car to go over specifics of the various features of my new car. He assured me to call him whenever I have any questions, and he has followed through anytime I have called - getting back to me soon after I contact him. I have never had such a great experience with any other car/dealership/salesperson in my life. Brad is an amazing, kind and exceptional person, and he is a wonderful representative and credit to the Dick Ide family of dealerships.

It's been two years sine we purchased our new Honda civic from Ide and still think about the great experience it was. Researched the exact model and trim package I wanted. Called a few dealers and Ide was so low on the price some of the other dealers couldn't figure it out. Worked with Joe Allbright and did everything over email and the phone. Only had to go in to pick up the car! Will definitely go back next time we are in the market!

My experience with Ide Honda could not have been better - I had an accident and needed a car right away and Cody Lach made that happen within a day - He found me exactly what I was looking for at an excellent price and took care of everything, plates, insurance, registration financing, you name it, he did it - He is a charming young man who is very good at his job and when I am ready to buy another car I will contact Cody - He gets an A+

Liars and cheats here. Got told my cars brakes were nearly gone among other lies, only to have a correct assessment by Ron's auto shop in webster told that the helpful Honda people were just lying to try to cheat me out. Go to a reputable place instead and not these crooks

I came in to have my Honda Accord serviced without an appointment this morning at 10:42 as I had the maintenance minder light on for the last two days. I brought my three-year-old daughter with me. The service advisor, Brett, greeted us. My car needed oil change, and I asked for a tire rotation. He said they're a bit busy, and they'd try to have the car ready at noon. I told him it's fine as long as I could leave before 12:30 PM for work.

This was not the first time I have my car serviced here, and I'm extremely content with my past services here. The amenities were welcoming. I bought the car as pre-owned, and its previous owner has been getting oil changes with this service department as well. I was offered free oil changes for life with Dick IDE. I'd also come here for the other few recommended services as I prefer manufacturer's genuine parts and labors.

Today, the service advisor failed to do his due dilligence, trying to locate me in the children's room. Had I not gotten up to check 3 hours later to follow-up, I'd have wasted another half hour. We never left the room the entire time we waited. I inquired his colleague if it's reasonable to wait more than 2 hours for an oil change today as I didn't want to impose after the estimated time lapsed. After all, I didn't schedule an appointment. To his surprise, he scurried to find the receipt and the key. He said that my tires didn't even get rotated due to low tread depth on the front wheels, which clearly suggested that my car wasn't in the shop too long. The service advisor was not there at the time (not sure if he was at lunch or left early).

I'm quite disappointed with the service advisor I dealt with today. I even called off from work today to avoid being marked tardy. An email, a text, or a phone call would've gone a long way in excellent customer service.

I recently had the experience of vehicle shopping with Melinda Pagluiso. She was incredibly knowledgeable about her product, responded quickly to questions I emailed and went out of her way to make my experience a satisfactory one. In the end, I selected a different make but I would still recommend Melinda and Ide if it's a Honda product you are looking for.

Bought a used Honda there last week good price nice car nice buying experience

My wife and I bought a 2004 Honda Accord which is still our second car. It has only been in the shop twice for repairs not counting the normal maintenance stuff. We have also leased 3 new Honda Accords, the present one being a 2017 Honda Accord EXL N SEN. We couldn t be happier with our cars or our salesman, Brad Constantino. Brad is low key, knows what we want, and his pricing has always been good. He s always available to explain new features. And, unlike most car salesmen, when I come in 3 years from now to lease my next Honda he will still be there. Anyone who is sick and tired of car repairs ought to get a Honda.

From my very first contact with Matt at Ide through email all the way through finalizing the paperwork on my new car, I was impressed by the perfect level of customer service. I have honestly never had a better experience buying a car. Joe Allbright was very friendly and professional while exhibiting a full range of knowledge of the cars and their options as well as the concerns of a driver such as myself on a day to day basis (reliability, gas milage, etc) Joe went out of his way to make sure we closed the deal and that I was happy with my new car. The amount received for my trade in was generous and they even had my new car brought in from buffalo just because it was the color I wanted. Ken Neufeglise was also friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. I have already recommended Dick Ide Honda and Joe Allbright to several people. Thank you again!! :)

Want to purchased a Honda Accord at this location before, and had very unpleasant experience, the manager comes out with this sales lady only at the second time when we asked for the offer, he is so inpatient and ask us to leave if we are not accept the price what they offered, and it's only $1000 down, they said the price is as it is, if we can not afford it, just get out of here, that's exactly what he said! So we end up going to garber Honda, and they got price down to $3000, and very patiently explained everything, I will definitely not going back to this location and will tell my friends not to, what an awful service and a disgusting manager

I enjoyed my experience with Ide Honda, both in the purchase and servicing of my new Accord.

Bought a Type R from Ide about a month ago. The salesman was great, however they were steep on the price and when they valued my trade in they said they would have to to value it with the cost of taking the wrap off, which i recently found out they are selling the car with the wrap on. So thats pretty intresting to me and also I had to come back twice the next day. Own because I had to turn in my old title which was understandable but the second because of paperwork they messed up on. Also kept saying they didn know if my bank that I wanted to finace through did 84 months, which they did. I switched to them recently and am saving alot of money.

My first experience with them is great! Terrific service department with advisors that will keep you posted up to the minute with anything that comes up. Very happy with IDE!

Melinda is great she is not a pushy sales person she is there to help with all your needs durning and after the sale. the serive department is there for all your needs as well

last minute decision on an oil change. walked in with my twin 3 1/2 year old girls. russ vandewall got us in and out in less than an hour. he was extremely friendly and answered all of my questions. he spoke to me in a very professional manner and didn't make me feel like a "stupid woman" which at past auto places i have felt like that. we will definitely refer to our friends and have a very high respect for dick ide auto center. excellent job!

I have taken my Accord to Ide for service for over 5 years. Recently my car needed an inspection and new tires. After driving my car now for two weeks the steering wheel vibrates when braking, didn't before, so I called back to ask what should have been checked or done on the car when I had it in. My belief is it is the new tires which were put on the front, I was told it was not. Pulled out my state inspection as that should validate if the brakes and stuff were check, image my surprise that only the left side is notated that is was checked. So frustrating.

The salesman, Rick Damico, is very courteous and easy to talk with. During our dealing in the beginning, we quickly arrived what I felt was a fare price without hackling. Also, unlike other salesman I experienced at other places, he would help us to understand some of our car's features that we forgot, many months after the purchase. He asked us to call him anytime in the future if we have any questions. I like Rick and Ide Honda's service very much would recommend he and dealer to any of my friends.

I recently purchased a 2019 Honda Ridgeline from IDE Honda. I had been considering the purchase for several months and was in contact with Al Gleichauf through email. He stayed in touch without ever making me feel pressured. When I decided the time was right the deal was reasonable and Al was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Bottom line, I would deal with Al and IDE Honda again in a heartbeat!

The service team is super friendly and the kids waiting room is perfect for keeping the little ones busy while waiting. We've been with Honda about 3 years now and have never had a negative experience.

I have bought my last 8 or more cars from Rick; he gives 110% to each sale. Goes out of his way to make sure the customer is genuinely happy.

Stay Away. had check engine light pop up a few weeks ago so I took it in to get looked at. Dropped it off on Wednesday and was going out of town until the following Monday. Was told it would be ready by that weekend and they would call if it wasn't done and I could come get it straight from the Airport. So the wife and I Uber'd straight there only to have this clueless idiot tell us he has no idea. After sitting there waiting for 3 hours they come up and say my check engine lights on. THATS WHY I BROUGHT IT IN. It gets better, so they finally "fixed" it later in the day and I bring it home. Things went great... FOR TWO DAYS then the problem starts all over again. Had no choice but to take it back there and turns out they completely missed what was wrong AND had the audacity to try and charge me for the parts to fix it even tho this shows complete incompetence on their part. Needless to say that did not go over well and I did not pay. Used to take my car here all the time the people at the desk were great now its just a bunch of crooks trying to take your money. A simple oil change takes them 3 hours even if you make an appointment. Will never take my business here ever again. I never post reviews but I'll sleep better knowing I saved someone else the trouble I had to go through. If I could give them 0 stars I would. STAY AWAY

Had great personal service on my first encounter with Roberto, Sales Manager, who then turned me over to Jerry when my car came in. Jerry is the nicest guy ever and had an abundance of patience with this senior! He went over every detail of the interior of my Civic and often more than once!

Very knowledgeable and helpful service dept. They do a great job.

Good experience today with a test drive and no pressure service. The last time I test drove there 5 years ago the guy was on his cell phone arguing with his ex-wife the entire time - much more pleasant test driving alone today :)

I, my husband, and some other family members have had MANY Hondas through the years. I even sold them 30 years ago (not for this dealer). We all love Honda, but I have never purchased new. My brother and I decided it was time to replace our current vehicles. We both met with Gerry Lamb, looked at a few different models, test drove, and I decided on the CRV while my brother went with the Odyssey. We found Gerry to be very knowledgeable and he made the entire process very easy! When we came back to pickup the vehicles the receptionist recognized and announced us to Gerry before we even checked in - that is efficient! I could not have asked for more.

We thought Brad Constantino was a consummate professional. He explained the various models we were interested in an even drove us around the various lots the Ide stored their vehicles. We test drove two of the CRVs and chose a 2018 CRV Touring model. He worked hard at getting us a lower priced since we had purchased a number of car at Ide dating back to 1999. He took a great deal of time to explain all the features inside the car We are very happy with Brad's service.

I have leased 3 cars from Ide Honda and every time I have worked with Brad Constantino. The 2 cars I have gotten were both toward the end of the model years and with limited supply, Brad was able to find what i needed, without any hassle to me. 1 car he even made a trade with a dealership in Pennsylvania to make sure I got the car I was looking for and for the price I wanted, with no issues. Service department has always worked well with me, telling me how it is and getting me the best price for my money. My wife also purchased a car from Brad. (2+1=3 cars) and she has been praising the situation ever since. She is so happy that she may purchase the car at the end of her lease and continue to bring the car there after. GOOD WORK!

I came into the dealership after having visited a few. My 19-year-old son and I were looking for a car and together we would make the perfect pair to try and take advantage of. (although unbeknownst to a salesperson, I am knowledgeable about cars and how they work) Our salesman, Rick Damico was amazing and respectful. Rich Lombardi the finance liaison was very knowledgeable and helpful and worked to find us the best deal. I just leased my new Honda CRV and I am loving it! The ride is smooth and I appreciate all the extra safety features though it took a bit to figure out what all the beeps meant. Kiersten was so helpful and knowledgeable about the car and transition from one car to another that it made the process less stressful and I could actually just be excited about the new car. I typically dread the car buying process and always worrying I am going to get an annoying salesman. Last week while looking for a Honda, I went to Ide Honda and had an incredible experience. From the first appointment over 12 years ago to the latest one today, I have always received courteous customer service from everyone in the service department at Dick Ide Honda. Mark Frey and his team are always fair and considerate. In particular, I have know Jim Milella all those years, and he is always my first best source of help and assistance for any car problem, even for my other non-Honda vehicle in the old days.
I have recommended this dealership and this service department to many friends, and I will continue to do so wholeheartedly!

When the adjoining Ide Mazda closed (their service dept. was excellent), my extended maintenance contract was switched over to Ide Honda, up the hill. I am continually frustrated trying to get a human on the phone. All I ever get is 10+ rings and then voicemail and they never call back as promised.

Pretty average, if you are expecting a great deal you won't get it here based on my experience. A lot of sales jargon, although nice people. They wanted a refundable down payment just to review an offer(walk back to manager). Ide was okay, but there are better places to shop.

I purchased my last veichle from Will at Ide Honda. The 2018 Honda Accord is an awesome vehicle. I like 1.5 Liter turbo engine. The LED headlight improve visibility while driving in snowy and wet road driving conditions at night. I went to one other dealer in Rochester (won't name names) and didn't get the best feeling there & felt too pressured to make the sale RIGHT THEN. I'm not kidding when I say this- as soon as I walked into Ide, I knew things were gonna be different. My salesman was Gerry (yup. Spelled that right) and he was relatable but not in a weird, fake way and I genuinely liked him. He wasn't pushy, he wasn't a yes man and he wasn't the type of person to tell you anything you wanted to hear, just to make a sale. So yes, overall I would definitely rate Ide Honda a 5 out of 5. You won't be disappointed.

The salesman was nice enough. Very busy but made time let us test drive the Toyota we came to see. It was pretty scary since the breaks seemed close to failing. We came back and there was a Honda waiting to be driven. He made sure to warn us the gas tank was almost empty so not to go very far. The paperwork to buy that same honda was already started by the time we sat down at his desk. He was very confident that this car was the best deal on the lot. We fealt pressured and at the perfect moment, he was called away. After waiting a few minutes we decided to leave. The receptionist was incredibly rude! Not two minutes later, we received SEVEN calls from the salesman while driving away. I wouldn't return to be treated poorly on arrival and departure by that receptionist, test drive unsafe cars and have salesmen tell me what I want.

Brad from Ide Honda was by far the best salesman we have worked with when purchasing 2 vehicles. Not only was he patient during mutiple test drives but the whole process was smooth and speedy. He went above and beyond for us to locate and have delivered the perfect van for me. He also took the time to explain all the new to me features and all of this the day before Thanksgiving. About two years ago we purchased a car from Melinda, it could not have been a better experience. She came as recommendation from Jim Milella who is a good friend in the service department there. Nothing but good things to say about our experiences here.

I have nothing but positive feedback from my experience buying from Ide Honda and have recommended it to my family and friends. Once I decided what vehicle I wanted to purchase, I did my due diligence as a buyer and price shopped every local Honda dealer for the best price. Ide Honda happened to be the last store I went to for prices. I had Leigh as my sales associate. When I arrived to the store, I had just been jerked around by Garber Honda and was very upset. Leigh made sure he was very straight forward with no games. Leigh did not ask me how much the other dealers were offering, instead he said he didn't want to know and had faith he could beat them. Leigh appraised my trade in and ran all the numbers. Ide Honda was selling me the car for $2,000.00 less than any other dealer!!! With that said and my experience with Leigh, there was no hesitation to buy from them. I was treated great and their prices were no where near the other dealership offers. Buyers beware of Garber Honda in Henrietta. All I wanted was numbers and they played games for two hours, took my keys so I couldn't leave and came back with a price way over other dealer offers. The sales manager also gave me attitude and told me in a snotty tone to "have fun" shopping elsewhere when leaving the store. Well, I sure did have fun buying from Ide and savings thousands of dollars in the process.

Buying a Car? ok, sure do it,.. it's a car, not a spaceship. Oh you want service? well don't let your loved one go for a free oil change and inspection she'll come home with a 400$ bill for rear pads and topped of fluids. I'm amazed at the lack of honor this company has.
