Although I was at the dealership for 6 hours (avoid Saturdays if you can), and I was sent home with a drained battery, I am giving them a 5 because when I came back to discuss the battery, they made good on it. I appreciate their professionalism and customer care.

Drove 3.5 hours on Saturday (4/9/16) to Southern Honda to purchase an ATV after 1 1/2 weeks talks with their salesman Brian (over phone and e-mail). I already knew what I wanted. When I arrived, I test drove an ATV with the options I was on the fence about. Ended up with a rancher 420 EPS AUTO DCT 4X4 with a winch. The financing went smooth with Ashley. She was super knowledgeable and quirky, really made the process easy. I give her 5 stars for her knowldge, personality and interaction with the internal customers.
The salesman was following his protocol, I know, but I do feel like the sales people need some assistance on their physical inventory (with upgrades). They had issues locating the inventory on their sales sheet and actually knowing what they had in stock. After finally picking out the model I wanted (a 2015 model), it was determined that it had additions added to it ($400 winch and a $200 mounting plate, plus 300$ in labor), to boost the price! Well, of course. Let's add a winch and wheels and tires to boost the price on a previous year model. The salesman responded "there is a disclaimer on our website". When I found out the business tactics they used, I was livid.
I drove that distance based off of prices I saw on their inventory on their website. I asked Brian if he understood where I was coming from , but of course, he had to follow his business practices. Can't blame him. I'm sure he has stringent policies he has to follow. Though he was a decent salesman, you've got to get back to basics. If you have this much inventory, you gotta know what's on the floor. PERIOD. You shouldn't be searching for an ATV off of your sales/price sheet. The spreadsheet should be updated with options added to the wheelers, with applicabe pricing. The wheeler I actually wanted was unaffordable because it had a winch, wheels and tires and a-arm gaurds. I had to settle for the ATV with a winch.
The warehouse manager loaded my wheeler for me and strapped it down in the back of my truck. 5 stars for this guy as he was friendly and helpful.
The overall experience after driving 3.5 hours from west central Georgia is 3 stars to me. If the place hadn't performed the shady tactics of adding options to "older stock" to boost the price, this would be a 5 star rating. I literally saved over $2800 from buying local. Id recommend the dealership to other buyers, but beware of previous year models with "additions". I really wish they hadn't done this. Though I would consider my next ATV from this place, I would steer clear of older inventory. Please stop this practice, as I've seen from other reviews, this isn't an uncommon practice.

Alot of Hondas, that for sure. They will not however deal on price at all. They don't care about the buyer in the sales department as they are just trying to get as many sales as possible without worrying about what people think of there lack of personality's. There is a few people there that are down to earth but there should be more. The service department was good with personable people. I did buy there but I struggled in getting it done. Even paying cash for a new bike.
Southern Honda is the only place I will buy any off road toys
Will never go back again. We took our Honda Pioneer 1000 in for it s 20 hour break in oil change. We also had warranty work done because of a factory recall. First all they were extremely slow, our machine was there for over a week (granted that time spanned Thanksgiving). Biggest complaint, I was charged $163.12 for a sticking oil change. It s cheaper to change the oil in my truck! We will find some place else for service.

You never know what kind of experience you will have when visiting a dealership. I am one to do my homework before going. This was my third or fourth time buying from the team at Southern Honda. I had a trade in and feel they both met my expectations on both trade value and selling price. It was a slow Tuesday and my wife and I actually enjoyed the time there with Mitch and Kevin. The Pioneer 1000 we purchased was way too big for my trailer. The guys offered to deliver it for us and did the next morning. Thanks guys. I will always do my ATV / Motorcycle business with the guys at Southern Honda.
They are nice but it took them forever to fix my scooter, which is my only vehicle, because they said I had to come in and sign a waiver that I didn't want some scratches fixed. They didn't work on my scooter for several weeks because they were waiting for me to come in and sign the waiver even though I called them almost daily to tell them I would sign it when the repairs were done. Finally they agreed to that, but the repairs had already been done weeks before, and so they hadn't done anything more in the weeks when they were waiting for me to sign this unnecessary waiver. They didn't ask me to sign it when I came in. But when I picked up the scooter, I was charged for an idle adjustment that did not solve the problem of my scooter. They were nice and offered a 20% off of an oil change for not solving the problem, but it just took way too long and didn't fully satisfy my requests. They mean well, but it just takes way too long. I feel like they are too busy to focus on my needs well enough to do the work well.

Would have been 5 Star but I called Adam 2 and a half weeks after my purchase asking about my title , I can't tag the Honda Talon for road legal without a title ,he told me I should receive it in 2 to 3 weeks . It's been 4 and a half weeks and still no Title called today, turns out my paperwork hasnt even been turned in . Supposedly the title person has been out for a while. So does that mean that no one has got there titles? I've missed out on some good rode rides . I'll have to wait I'm guessing another 2 to 3 weeks. I spent a lot of money getting it ready .(Very Disappointed)

Very poor experience at Southern Honda. The prices here are good, but not the best. I would suggest purchasing anywhere else. The salesperson I spoke with was actually helpful and offered some possible flexibility on price then the manager got on the phone and basically just said "no" and was very rude and condescending like he did not care about selling a bike. All I wanted was any/some flexibility based on other companies had the same bike priced lower, but they were further from me. If you spend just a small amount of time shopping around you be able to find a similar or better deal and companies that truly want your business.

Ryan was really good to me! He was really patient. I already knew what I wanted when I went in and he didn't try changing my mind, or anything. Both his General manager and finance department were really great too. They gave me an amazing deal on a gorgeous bike. He even helped me get a super deal on insurance. He talked to me and helped me find things. The finance department even got me a super good warranty without it adding anything to my payment. I traveled 35 minutes to go here, and being single and not having many people to help get the bike home, they even delivered it for me, which helped so much. I appreciate every member of their staff and definitely will recommend them to anyone.

Very bad customers service I bought a 2016 goldwing a month ago and they didn t send me the title yet. They was called me every day to get the bike and send them the Money and when I sent them the Money no one answer me and no one help me anymore

Well, unfortunately I am in a spot where I must alter my initial 5 star review. After 2 months of ownership, I had an issue with my brand new goldwing. I called the "Outstanding roadside assistance" as sold to me by Zak, the finance manager. After trying multiple times on the provided 866 number, I was told that I had to pay for the tow, which was suppose to be included. So I called, and SHPS offered to send me a check "It will go out today! I promise" so I called a tow company, and got the bike towed to a local shop. A month later, still no check, and Zak will not return my calls or emails.
In addition, they overcharged me for plates in my home state, and the local DMV sent them a check over $300, as they had to send it back to the place that sent the check. I also send emails to Zak on this issue, with no response. So as of now, I have paid for worthless roadside assistance, and they are holding onto almost $500 of my money.
I am also going to assume that the "world class" additional warranty I purchased is worth as much as the roadside assistance.
Be VERY Careful.
I have bought 3 units over the years and have been nothing but pleased with the service and reliability of a Honda cant be beat. Fixing to buy a 4th unit here in the near future.
Bought a new Honda Talon 1000x four seater and could not be happier with my deal, experience and salesman. I had Andrew for this process, and between him and Jordan, it could not have been any smoother a process. I was impressed with the facility and amount of inventory. I had to travel a ways for this deal, but it was well worth it and when I'm in the market for another Honda, I'll gladly deal with them and travel again!

The value I get at Southern Honda is amazing compared to what other dealers can offer. From absolutely the lowest pricing, to service after the sale (yes, they are open on Mondays), I think I'm lucky to live in Chattanooga and relatively close to the dealership.

I'll start by saying it's probably one of the best motorcycle dealers around and I've bought several four-wheelers here. I've had nothing but good experiences with them. I recently took my atv for service and they fixed it quickly in couple days. They called me to come get it. I made the trip downtown to be told I couldn't pick it up because the warranty company wasn't done with the paperwork. My service writer say he would let me know as soon as it was done. A week later I called to see and he'd forgot said he would check and get back with me. I didn't get a call back. So I called my service writer and he was with a customer. I called a little later and was told service department was super busy he would call me back. I never heard from him. So I finally got in touch with the service manager and he resolved the issue in just a few minutes. I still think it's a great place and I'm sure I'll buy another one here but I think the service department needs some help back there if they're that busy.
Great place to purchase ATV s, UTV s, dirt bikes, and motorcycles. We have purchased several there now and Jamie Russo has always taken very good care of us. Jamie knows the products and markets them very well to suit the needs of the customer. He takes a personal approach to selling, he said he wants to make sure that we are happy with our purchase.
The finance department took the time to explain our options and offer extended protection plans to take care of our investment.
Service after the sell has been excellent as well. Have already been in for services. I showed up a little early for an appointment, service manager squeezed my bike in and was completed while I waited.

Very disappointed when they told me they will not service what they sell after a certain time period, that was for parts and service. When I asked if there was another avenue I was told to Google it. Service did try to help by providing drawings with parts list but Parts just kind of blew me off.

My step-mom tried buying a motorcycle from here that was supposed to be a Christmas gift for my dad this year, and they completely tried to screw her over. My dad found a bike online listed for $3300, loved the look and size of it, and told everyone in the family he'd love to have it. Therefor, my step-mom called and put the bike on hold so her and her uncle (who knows a lot about bikes and has multiple bikes of his own) could go look at it. The man she talked to on the phone told her they would hold it for a week, and assured her the bike was listed at $3300. 2 days after she put the bike on hold, the manager called her telling her "I have bad news. I cannot sell you that bike for $3300. It was listed at the wrong price on the website, and my employee that told you the price read it off the website as well. The bike is actually $4200, but I'll sell it to you for $3600." Naturally, this extremely upset my step-mom. When she tried arguing about the price saying that since it was listed wrong online and an employee told her the same price, she should get it at that price, he told her again that he would not sell it at that price. The only thing he did tell her was that he would reduce the warranty, if she got one, by a little over $300. Which, obviously, still balances out in the favor of the manager. My step-mom would only have saved $30 at most if she would have taken that deal.
There is no way that you accidentally mis-price a bike by $900 without realizing it or fixing it for weeks. Even if that were possible, you absolutely do NOT tell a customer you will not sell them a bike (or anything for that matter) for the price they already have it on hold for. $300 may not be much to some people, but to other people it's a lot.
This is a good friendly place to buy your toys, however as a word of caution, if you are thinking of buying a Honda 1000 Pioneer, be sure that the driver can actually drive it, I bought 1 for my wife as a Christmas present, and she is only 5 -1 and she couldn t reach the peddles without sitting on the edge of the seat, there is no adjustment on the seat, and no aftermarket parts to fix this situation, so, now I have a 20k toy, with all the accessories, that is of no value to her, This dealer did contact me about the review and comments that I sent on the Honda certeque and offered to buy it back for 13k, I thought that was very nice of them, to offer this, but to take a 7k loss for a machine with 3 miles on it, don t think I will do that.

Excellent experience as always! My husband has been wanting a Pioneer so I put in a lead online when they were closed and the next day Jamie Russo reached out to me. We live in Birmingham, Al so I had to negotiate the entire deal over the phone with him. Jamie was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. I work in the auto industry as well so i can be a little hard to deal with but Jamie was able to answer every question I had. I also spoke with Jordan, the finance manager, a few times and she was extremely helpful as well! My husband picked up the Pioneer today and the delivery went off without a hitch. He is happy he got a new toy and I m happy we got a great deal and great service!
You always seem to have something I did not know I needed on sale as well as being able to get ordered parts quickly at prices equal or lower than the internet.
Anyone that would give this place a negative comment must not appreciate integrity and true customer service. I worked with Bradley to purchase a new quad and from the time we talked on the phone till I left I was wowed. The entire staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I unfortunately have an issue buying too much stuff and brandley was by far the best salesman I ve ever worked with. Your organization is extremely lucky to have someone like you represent them. I ordered a part , no receipt , no acknowledgment . Tried to contact customer service, you can t . If you need a part , order it elsewhere. With service like this I hope they re out of business and a reputable one replaces them. Again if you need parts , order elsewhere. If you re interested in a response the owner only acknowledges praise , he ignores the criticism. Fingers crossed their poor service catches up with them .
I can t speak enough about what a great experience we had from start to finish. Bradley made the deal happen- was immediately responsive to an online inquiry, and all subsequent communication. He was friendly, helpful, sincere, knowledgeable and honest. He provided options but didn t oversell, rather supported us through our decision making process with information and developed a strong enough rapport that we opted to make the two hour drive just to do business with him.
Then, to arrive to a clean showroom with plenty of inventory... and the back half of our transaction with Adam in finance matching the caring commitment to service we had from Bradley and well.... pretty sure we would always make the trip in from Nash when we are in the market for a recreational or utility vehicle. Mitch was very spot on in doing everything he can and being thorough through the whole process and leaving no gaps, I am so pleased with everything and will be using them forever for all my purchases on motorcycles and ATVs! Not the best experience when it comes to sales. Was promised some sort of deal when I purchased my bike, with the option of them buying it back, but when I called and emailed some of the staff about it, I was told craigslist was a better option. Two of the staff never even called with more information, after promising they would, and one of them even hung up on me.
I have not bought any motorized products from here but have used the parts and service department. I've also purchased some of my riding gear here. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. They make you feel like you are the only person in the store, and like they've known you all your life. They are also friendly and helpful over the phone.
Their inventory is large and and they carry quality goods.
I purchased some tires and had them installed here. Their prices were competitive with online prices, and you help the local economy also. My brother did purchase a 4wheeler from them and had a great experience. They are my go to motorsprts place!

Drove 4 hours to purchase a 2012 CRF50 for my grandson, advertised on Internet as a leftover for $697.00. Upon arrival, was informed it was an upgraded pit bike that was actually $1500.....i should have learned my lesson in 2010 when i tried to buy from them before. I will never ever set foot in their dealership!

I live in Texas, but I bought an OEM ignition coil for a 30 year old bike through them online. Obviously it takes a little while to get such an odd-ball part in stock, but they didn't just leave me in the dark, they kept in touch throughout the process. Good price, and through email the customer service was top notch, with a quick and helpful response every time I sent an email. Thanks again y'all!
I m surprised that there aren t more negative reviews especially with how awful our service was today. The salesman was nice enough, but management really puts these guys in a tough spot. He doesn t come to speak on his own behalf to customers when he s ripping them off, he sends out the salesman to relay the message. This is the second time my husband and I have visited the store. The first time we were only browsing. If you intend on bringing in a trade-in, just know they re going to insult you. It s a major dealership, yet management sends the salesman out with the most ridiculous low ball trade in offer then let s us know management doesn t want to take trades! You ARE a dealership, trades are part of being a dealership! Save yourself the trip here and drive the Extra 30 miles or so to Kirks cycles. This place is a joke and unwilling to work with their customers.

got approved financing online easy enough, spoke with the sales person over the phone to come sign the paper work and it was almost like he thought he was doing me a favor by selling me a bike at 1/4 (that's .25) more then Kelly blue book value.
Once I realized that he evidently doesn't need my money, I decided to take my business elsewhere.
